Our society today doesn't support the working woman. We are comprising our values and dying inside. We are looking for purpose and passion in our work, but are having trouble finding it, or even thinking it's possible. Having a dual household income is a necessity in our world, and many women are getting married later in life so they must support themselves. What happens when we give up our values for a paycheck and simply live to get paid and wait for retirement to finally be able to live.
I don't believe we need to wait, and I was tired of fighting an uphill battle feeling like an outsider. That is until I found other women who felt the same way I do. I realized I am not alone, and neither are you.
The solution is diving deep into ourselves and finding what we value in life, then visualizing the life we want, and then taking the first baby step to make it happen.
