(#28) Overcoming Obstacles & Domestic Violence - Interview with Michelle Jewsbury
Show Notes

Michelle Jewsbury is an international philanthropic, speaker and author that has traveled the world as an advocate for the less fortunate.

Michelle founded Unsilenced Voices, a nonprofit focused on inspiring change in communities around the globe by encouraging victims to break free and survivors to speak up about domestic violence and sexual assault. Her desire to help victims of domestic abuse came from personal experience in such a relationship.  Michelle was with her assailant for three years where she endured physical, sexual, emotional and financial abuse.

We talked about her experience with domestic violence, how to help someone who know who is in an abusive relationship, and how she now uses her experience to teach others to overcome obstacles.

Michelle also shares how her faith in something bigger than herself was a driving force in her life.

Her memoir, But I Love Him, is now available on Amazon. If you would like a free digital download of the introduction of her book, text OBSTACLES to 267-86.
