Episode 6
Welcome to Proclamation Station as we celebrate Black Christian History Month. In this episode we examine one of the most transformative events in modern Christianity - the Azusa Street Revival! It was led by Pastor William J. Seymour, a Black Holiness preacher. This early 20th century movement in Los Angeles is heralded by many as the birthplace of the global Pentecostal Movement. Despite racial and social barriers, the Azusa Street Revival brought together people of all races, nationalities, and backgrounds in a powerful display of unity, worship, and the outpouring of the Holy Spirit. It was indeed a great time in the life of Christianity. You will have a great time listening! Please listen, share, and subscribe.
