Gratitude in the Seasons We Don't Understand

Giving thanks is easy when life makes sense, but Scripture calls us to something deeper. The Bible commands us to “give thanks in all circumstances” (1 Thessalonians 5:16–18), even when life feels confusing or painful. In this episode, we turn to Jesus’ parable of the rich man and Lazarus to uncover a powerful truth: gratitude isn’t rooted in what we see — it’s rooted in the God we trust. Even when circumstances seem unfair, God is still working according to His eternal purposes, reminding us that “all things work together for good” (Romans 8:28) and that trials refine our faith (1 Peter 1:6–7).
