Jesus Christ: King of Kings
We celebrate the birth of Jesus at Christmas, but Scripture reminds us that the Child in the manger is also Jesus Christ, the King of Kings (Revelation 19:16)—the promised ruler whose Kingdom is unlike any on earth. He is the King foretold by the prophets, the One whose throne would be established forever (2 Samuel 7:16), and the Messiah whose dominion would bring peace without end (Isaiah 9:6–7).
Jesus does not rule through oppression but with compassion, not by force but by love. He does not seek power from people—instead, He gives power to live in freedom, righteousness, and hope through His Spirit. He is the King who came not in a palace but in a manger, not with armies but with angels announcing peace, not wearing a crown of gold but destined for a crown of thorns. Yet He alone is the King whose reign brings life, joy, salvation, and everlasting peace.
As we celebrate His birth, this episode invites us to see Jesus not only as the baby in Bethlehem, but as the eternal King who reigns forever and welcomes us into His Kingdom. Join us as we explore what it truly means to honor Jesus Christ as our King—and how His reign transforms every part of our lives today.
