No marriage is perfect, and every husband and wife has faults. But when home becomes difficult, painful, or unsafe, wives must remember this truth: never let a bad situation separate you from God.

In this episode of Proclamation Station, we look at biblical wisdom for wives through the lives of Sarah, Zipporah, and Abigail—three women who faced difficult situations connected to the choices and actions of their husbands. Their stories remind us that God sees women, values women, protects women, and gives strength and wisdom in hard places.

Together, we discuss Sarah’s painful experiences with Abraham, Zipporah’s courage when Moses failed to obey God’s command, and Abigail’s wisdom when Nabal’s foolishness placed his household in danger. Through their examples, we are reminded that beauty, wealth, and status are not enough to protect a woman, but faith, courage, wisdom, godly support, and dependence on the Lord can help her respond with strength.

We also speak clearly to women facing dangerous domestic situations: get help and get to safety. God does not call His daughters to remain in harm’s way. Whether the struggle is emotional, physical, or spiritual, wives are encouraged to draw closer to God, seek wise help, and remember that they are valued by Him.

Listen now and be encouraged to stay close to God, walk in wisdom, and trust the Lord for strength in difficult places.
