What do you do when God tells you to move forward, but something behind you keeps pulling at your heart?

In this episode of Proclamation Station, we reflect on the danger of looking back when God has called us to move forward in obedience. The Bible gives us sobering examples: Lot’s wife looked back after being told to flee, the children of Israel longed for Egypt after God delivered them from slavery, and Jesus warned that those who follow Him must not keep looking back while trying to serve in God’s kingdom.

These accounts remind us that obedience is not only about leaving a place physically. It is also about letting go in our hearts. Sometimes God delivers us from something, but our memory, comfort, fear, or desire tries to pull us back.
