David Poulter - Are You a Good Listener?
David Poulter is a retired physical therapist who has lived and worked in Australia, New Zealand, and the UK. He has taught alongside Robin McKenzie as a faculty member of the US McKenzie Institute and taught around the world on patient-centered care and communication.
In this episode, David asks you to ponder whether you consider yourself a good listener. He introduces the concepts of ethos, pathos, and logos as they may pertain to clinical practice and provides some basic guidance on how you can become a better listener in the clinic.
