SPEAKER_06

Hello. Oh no. Alright, no, maybe we should get this rollin'.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, maybe. Rollin'.

SPEAKER_06

Rollin', rollin', rollin', rollin'.

SPEAKER_00

Ah. Rawhide.

SPEAKER_06

Okay. No.

SPEAKER_00

No.

SPEAKER_06

Yes, but that wasn't what I was thinking. Oh. But it's okay.

SPEAKER_00

What are you thinking?

SPEAKER_06

Limp biscuit.

SPEAKER_00

Oh, okay.

SPEAKER_06

Maybe we should open this up.

SPEAKER_00

Okay, maybe.

SPEAKER_06

Would you like to open this up?

SPEAKER_00

Let's open this up.

SPEAKER_06

Okay. Okay. Ten o'clock at night. Chairs. Chairs. This feels healthy.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah.

SPEAKER_06

I hate to tell you this, but you're doing it wrong. What do you mean? I mean you're doing it wrong. Okay, okay. Okay. Was it clear this time? Okay. Okay.

SPEAKER_00

Okay.

Meet The Hosts And The Vibe

SPEAKER_00

Hello. Hello, and welcome to Roasty Toasty Ghosty. My tepa.

SPEAKER_06

Matthias.

SPEAKER_00

And Lauren. My tame is Matthias. My name is Matthias.

SPEAKER_06

Okay.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah. My name is Matthias.

SPEAKER_06

Is it?

SPEAKER_00

It is.

SPEAKER_06

What's your name?

SPEAKER_00

And I'm waiting for what your name is.

SPEAKER_06

And I'm Lauren.

SPEAKER_00

Yay! Yep. And we're gonna be your besties for an hour or so. Ish. Ish? Ish. Who knows? And this is the best podcast in the entire world.

SPEAKER_06

You say that.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah. Some people say that, I think.

SPEAKER_06

That was more than two.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, more than two people.

SPEAKER_06

Okay, okay. More than two people would say that.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah. Okay. I think you said it. I said it, probably your sister says it too.

SPEAKER_06

I doubt it.

SPEAKER_00

Well, she listens.

SPEAKER_06

Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

So she's a fan.

SPEAKER_06

I guess so.

SPEAKER_00

So, and I I don't I doubt that she listens to other podcasts.

SPEAKER_06

I think she does.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, but not as good.

SPEAKER_06

I don't know. Probably more uh planned out and organized.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah.

SPEAKER_06

But but those are scripted.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, and less personality. Perhaps we have a lot of personality.

SPEAKER_06

There's too many personalities in this room.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah. Two.

SPEAKER_06

Two. That's it.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah. One is enough, but you know.

SPEAKER_06

Two is more than one.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah. It's double.

SPEAKER_06

None of this made it sound better or worse. No. These are just facts.

SPEAKER_00

Facts and yes. And that's what we're all about. Facts. True or not, you you get some facts.

SPEAKER_06

Right. Um but um sentences at least.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah. Something. What's our slogan for today?

SPEAKER_06

That was it.

SPEAKER_00

That was it.

SPEAKER_06

That was it. Good job.

SPEAKER_00

Thank you.

SPEAKER_06

You came up with something.

SPEAKER_00

I did.

SPEAKER_06

Without knowing it.

SPEAKER_00

I didn't know it.

SPEAKER_06

But you did it.

SPEAKER_00

Yay.

SPEAKER_06

You managed.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah. What's the whole intro? What's that? That was it. That's a long slogan.

SPEAKER_06

Yes. Sometimes it draws out.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah.

SPEAKER_06

Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

Try putting that on a billboard.

SPEAKER_06

I could.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah. I mean, billboards are big, so.

SPEAKER_06

Right. And if you uh bring the font down like a lot, then you'll get the entire transcript on there.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, exactly.

SPEAKER_06

No one's gonna know what it says. Yeah. But it's there.

SPEAKER_00

Is the slogan still going? Yeah. Okay. It's the entire episode. Right. Yeah. Slogan.

SPEAKER_06

This episode is slogan.

SPEAKER_00

Yep, cool. Okay. Yeah, that's enough small talk. How are you? More small talk.

SPEAKER_06

Okay, small talk part two.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah.

SPEAKER_06

I'm good. Thank you.

SPEAKER_00

Good.

SPEAKER_06

How are you?

SPEAKER_00

I'm also good.

SPEAKER_06

I'm better than last week.

SPEAKER_00

I thought you said I'm better than you. Yeah, okay. If you say so.

SPEAKER_06

That's all. No, um, last week I was dealing with allergies. And birthday. And birthday. And today I'm not really dealing with allergies, and it's not really my birthday.

SPEAKER_00

Oh, that's past.

SPEAKER_06

Yeah. It ended. It ended. My birthday. And that was the saddest day of my life when it ended.

SPEAKER_00

When in okay.

SPEAKER_06

When the next day started.

SPEAKER_00

Not the actual birthday.

SPEAKER_06

No, it was when the next day started. Oh. And then I was really sad.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah,

Birthday Cruise Dancing And Massage

SPEAKER_00

you wanna tell us about that? The next day. Yeah, yeah.

SPEAKER_06

After my birthday.

SPEAKER_00

Your birthday and the Oh yeah.

SPEAKER_06

I want to tell you about my birthday, which was last Saturday. Um, my life partner and I went on a cruise.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah.

SPEAKER_06

And we had some alcoholic beverages and we uh danced kind of. Uh I mostly just topped around.

SPEAKER_00

Okay.

SPEAKER_06

Like I do.

SPEAKER_00

I thought you were falling.

SPEAKER_06

Well, I mean, no, sometimes uh there was one time we went on a cruise and I I could like dance and we were like synchronized, you know, in the dancing.

SPEAKER_04

Okay.

SPEAKER_06

And this time I was just like, no, I don't know what I'm doing. I think I have no flow and I don't think I was drunk enough, honestly.

SPEAKER_00

So it was your fault. Yes. It wasn't him.

SPEAKER_06

It's always my fault.

SPEAKER_00

Okay.

SPEAKER_06

I never learned how to dance.

SPEAKER_00

No.

SPEAKER_06

So I don't know if he knows how, I think. Because he keeps saying that I'm doing it wrong.

SPEAKER_00

Okay. Well, that's from his perspective.

SPEAKER_06

Yeah. But he seems to know what he's doing. Okay. And I clearly don't. Uh huh. So then I'm just hopping around.

SPEAKER_00

Ah, okay. Well, that's also called dance.

SPEAKER_06

Uh yeah, that's my dance. It's just a hop. Hop, hop, hop, hop. Um, yeah, so we did that and I got a massage.

SPEAKER_00

Okay.

SPEAKER_06

Uh, yeah.

SPEAKER_00

While dancing?

SPEAKER_06

No. No, before dancing.

SPEAKER_00

Okay.

SPEAKER_06

And since I was dealing with allergies and everything, I first of all, I don't think I was making attractive noises. Also, I fell asleep.

SPEAKER_00

Oh, okay.

SPEAKER_06

So it almost felt like the massage was a waste.

SPEAKER_00

Okay.

SPEAKER_06

Because I feel like I missed parts of it.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah.

SPEAKER_06

But because I fell asleep.

SPEAKER_00

I mean, isn't a massage kind of how you feel afterwards?

SPEAKER_06

Yeah. But like, you know, when they're rubbing you, I I like to feel that.

SPEAKER_00

Enjoy.

SPEAKER_06

I like to enjoy that part.

SPEAKER_00

Okay.

SPEAKER_06

And I I missed it. So I was like a little disappointed.

SPEAKER_04

Okay.

SPEAKER_06

When I woke up and she's like, oh, we're done now. It's like, oh, okay.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah.

SPEAKER_06

But I did that. And then the next day we had brunch.

SPEAKER_00

Okay.

SPEAKER_06

And I went into the spa and it wasn't super like exciting.

SPEAKER_00

Okay. There were Did you fall asleep?

SPEAKER_06

No. No. There were two hot tubs.

SPEAKER_00

Okay.

SPEAKER_06

One was inside and the other was outside. And uh it was like raining on the way back. So the weather wasn't great. It was kind of cold.

SPEAKER_00

So you were inside.

SPEAKER_06

Uh I tried the outside one, but the thing is that I went in by myself.

SPEAKER_04

Okay.

SPEAKER_06

My life partner didn't come with me. And so there was already a couple out there. And I was like, I just want to try the hot tub. So I just like snuck in there with them, and it was like really weird. I'm like just trying to pay attention to everything else. Yeah, I'm not even here. And then I was like, I'm done. They didn't even have the bubbles on or anything. I wasn't gonna be like, hey, excuse me, can you just like push the button so we can have some bubbles in here?

SPEAKER_01

You should just uh scream, bubbles.

SPEAKER_06

Bubbles. Bubbles bubble time. Yeah. Come on. No, I didn't do that. Um, so I went inside and I tried out the sauna. And it was the same thing in there. There was another couple in there. I was just like, hmm, hello. I'm just gonna sit here. Don't mind me.

SPEAKER_01

Went in there and said, Bubbles!

SPEAKER_06

Bubbles! Can you uh put some water on the coals, please? Yeah. No. No. I waited for them to leave and then I did it myself.

SPEAKER_00

Okay. Do you like sauna?

SPEAKER_06

I do. Sometimes.

SPEAKER_00

Okay.

SPEAKER_06

I mean, sometimes it's too hot and I can't breathe. So yeah, I tried the other hot tub. I was all by myself then. And there was this weird shower thing. It was like a hallway of shower. Okay. Oh. And you like push the button and you just like walk through the hallway. Cool. It well, I don't know because it was supposed to awaken your senses. So the first section of the hallway, it was like cold jets from the sides. Okay.

SPEAKER_04

So it's like blah.

SPEAKER_06

Cold. And then the next one was like nice hot water coming straight down. Like, no, this is perfect. Because I like too hot. And then the last one was, I don't know, it was just rain or something. So it wasn't. Yeah. Yeah. It was okay. And yeah, I wasn't really I didn't really know what to expect.

SPEAKER_00

Okay.

SPEAKER_06

So then I was like, oh, okay. So then I did it again. Oh. I did it twice. It was so cold and then it was really hot.

SPEAKER_00

So it was pretty cool.

SPEAKER_06

It was kind of cool. Mm-hmm. It was okay. I don't know. And that was pretty much it. Okay. I mean, there was a couple other things, but I mean it wasn't really that exciting. It wasn't much more than what we have at the swimming pool here. Okay. So it that's just not on a boat. This was on a boat. That was the difference. Yeah. But yeah, it was it was a fun trip anyway. It was needed.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah.

SPEAKER_06

And we had fun.

SPEAKER_00

Good.

SPEAKER_06

Mm. I ate way too much and I drank quite a bit. And we got home and the kids had destroyed the apartment. Even though one of them wasn't supposed to be here.

SPEAKER_00

Okay.

SPEAKER_06

Oh well. Oh well. That was

Spa Awkwardness And Sensory Showers

SPEAKER_06

my birthday.

SPEAKER_00

Oh, cool.

SPEAKER_06

Yeah. Um. And then the next day I got a tattoo.

SPEAKER_00

Oh yeah. Yeah. That was Sunday. Monday. Monday. Yeah. Okay.

SPEAKER_06

Because my birthday was the whole weekend.

SPEAKER_00

Okay. Yeah.

SPEAKER_06

Yeah. Um, I got a tattoo. I got a butterfly for my mom.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah.

SPEAKER_06

And it's nice. Yep. I did not pass out this time.

SPEAKER_00

You didn't.

SPEAKER_06

No. I was good. I only almost passed out the next day when I showered.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah.

SPEAKER_06

Yeah. I had to clean it off. And I don't know. My my body doesn't like doing that.

SPEAKER_00

Clean.

SPEAKER_06

Uh expecting it to be really bad.

SPEAKER_00

Okay.

SPEAKER_06

I don't know. I have like a weird wound thing. Like I I get a little lightheaded with wounds.

SPEAKER_00

Okay.

SPEAKER_06

You know?

SPEAKER_00

Mm-hmm.

SPEAKER_06

I don't know. I like to think that I'm okay with blood and stuff.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah. But one would think.

SPEAKER_06

Yeah. For some reason my my body is like, uh, that's no. That's a no. Yeah. I'll pass.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah. I don't think so.

SPEAKER_06

No. We did take a walk on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah. We did.

SPEAKER_06

And Thursday, because that's today.

SPEAKER_00

Oh yeah. Ow. We walked every single day.

SPEAKER_06

This week so far, yeah.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah.

SPEAKER_06

Not tomorrow though.

SPEAKER_00

Not tomorrow.

SPEAKER_06

Because this weekend is midsummer weekend.

SPEAKER_00

Yep.

SPEAKER_06

And you're not joining me.

SPEAKER_00

No.

SPEAKER_06

You said I hate you.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah.

SPEAKER_06

And I don't want to see you ever again.

SPEAKER_00

Those were my exact words.

SPEAKER_06

That's exactly what I heard.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah.

SPEAKER_06

Because that's what you said.

SPEAKER_00

I'm not disagreeing. No. Okay. No, I um I just um decided to be home with my parents. Cuz I I'm not home that much anymore. Since I don't live there anymore. Except for weekends.

SPEAKER_06

Did you have any other highlights from the week? Or the weekend?

SPEAKER_00

No, not really. I I don't think so. No. I had a pretty boring week.

SPEAKER_06

Cool. Except for me. Being with me.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah.

SPEAKER_06

That was the highlights. Yeah. Was me. I'm a highlight. Yeah. I'm a highlighter.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah. Walking with the highlights.

SPEAKER_06

Yeah. Okay. It is Thursday. It's June 18th.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah.

SPEAKER_06

And we watched movies.

SPEAKER_00

We did.

SPEAKER_06

Would you like to move beyond?

SPEAKER_00

Let's move on.

SPEAKER_06

Okay. We watched too many movies today. We watched three movies.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah.

SPEAKER_06

Bulletproof was one of them. And then Escape Plan 2 and 3.

SPEAKER_00

Yes.

SPEAKER_06

Yeah. But we started with Bulletproof.

Tattoo Aftercare And Daily Walks

SPEAKER_06

So please tell me what that's all about.

SPEAKER_00

Bulletproof is starring Adam Sander and Damon Wayans.

SPEAKER_06

He's from My Wife and Kids.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah.

SPEAKER_06

My family used to love that show. Yeah. It's really cringy watching it today. It's not that funny.

SPEAKER_00

No, okay.

SPEAKER_06

We thought it was funny. I don't know.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, I don't know. I I might like it. I never watched it, so You would probably like it.

SPEAKER_06

Yeah. We liked it then.

SPEAKER_00

I mean, I do like sitcoms.

SPEAKER_06

TV was different back then.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, it was good.

SPEAKER_06

Alright, tell me about the movie.

SPEAKER_00

Um, he's also in The Last Boy Scouts. And okay, so Damon Wayans plays uh

Bulletproof Recap And Ratings

SPEAKER_00

an undercover cop. He befriends Adam Sander, who's like a small time crook.

SPEAKER_06

He's a criminal.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, but not the big one. He he's more like doing the small crimes. Sander finds out that Damon Wayans is uh police and then he accidentally shoots him in the head.

SPEAKER_06

That wasn't very nice.

SPEAKER_00

No, it was an accident.

SPEAKER_06

He says that.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah.

SPEAKER_06

But was it?

SPEAKER_00

I think so.

SPEAKER_06

Okay.

SPEAKER_00

Later in the movie, after a few years, because uh Damon Wayans doesn't die, he just uh gets better.

SPEAKER_06

He goes through physical therapy for a gunshot wound to the head.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah.

SPEAKER_06

Which should have killed him.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah. It doesn't have to.

SPEAKER_06

But it should.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah.

SPEAKER_06

You get shot in the head and you're kind of expected to die. Yeah. Like it is your role, it is your duty to die right there. It's your job. You have a one job and it's to die, and he couldn't even do that.

SPEAKER_00

He failed.

SPEAKER_06

He failed miserably.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, because he survived.

SPEAKER_06

Yeah. That wasn't the point in getting shot in the head.

SPEAKER_00

No. Then Adam Sandler is arrested and needs to be transported, and he he only wants Damon Wayans to transport him or something like that. And then there's a plane accident and uh and things, and they have to walk through the desert and stuff like that. And there's also bad guys.

SPEAKER_06

And things.

SPEAKER_00

And things hap happen.

SPEAKER_06

Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah.

SPEAKER_06

That's about it.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah. What did you think about this movie?

SPEAKER_06

I enjoyed this movie. I liked it. I don't know. I don't have much more to say than that. No. I just I thought it was funny, I I think. Yeah. And I enjoyed watching the movie. Okay. The part that I liked the most was when I was watching the movie. Okay. Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

So when was that?

SPEAKER_06

The whole time.

SPEAKER_00

Okay, okay, okay.

SPEAKER_06

When I was watching the movie. I did watch this movie. I watched the whole thing. Okay. And that what I saw every second of the movie. All of the seconds. Oh. Every every single one. Yeah. Yeah. Good. I didn't dislike a single second.

SPEAKER_00

That's great.

SPEAKER_06

Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

So that means that you hated this movie.

unknown

No.

SPEAKER_06

No. Uh speaking of a single second, you did make a video for me for my birthday and I enjoyed it very much.

SPEAKER_00

Good.

SPEAKER_06

You're welcome. Thank you.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, you're welcome.

SPEAKER_06

You're excused.

SPEAKER_01

You want me to leave now? Yes.

SPEAKER_06

Okay. Okay. What did you think of this movie?

SPEAKER_00

I mean, I I really like this movie. I enjoy it and I have seen it several times. And yeah, it's a it's a fun time. It's a and it's a fairly short movie. It doesn't have to be like three hours long. This is like 124. It's that's good enough.

SPEAKER_06

That is good.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah.

SPEAKER_06

It's not even 90 minutes.

SPEAKER_00

No.

SPEAKER_06

It's a short movie. Yeah. It's a short film, really.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah. In today's standard, it's like a yeah, like a short film.

SPEAKER_06

That's so weird. Yeah. But yeah, no, you're not wrong.

SPEAKER_00

No. But yes, I really do enjoy this one.

SPEAKER_06

Yes. That's it.

SPEAKER_00

That's it.

SPEAKER_06

Alright. And then we watched Escape Plan 2 and 3. Yes.

Escape Plan Sequels And Disappointment

SPEAKER_06

Which I am definitely going to tell you about. Yeah. Right now.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah. You don't know.

SPEAKER_06

As much as I can.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, I mean, it's it's not that difficult really. Or is it?

SPEAKER_06

Oh, I'm gonna come off as an idiot. Okay. Okay.

SPEAKER_00

Okay.

SPEAKER_06

These are movies in which Stallone is in both of them. It's a it's a sequel.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah.

SPEAKER_06

The second one at least. Yeah. It's a sequel to the first one in which we definitely have seen with Schwarzenegger. This was before the podcast.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah.

SPEAKER_06

So I can't go back and listen to what I thought about that one. Um, uh, nor do I have any idea what actually happened.

SPEAKER_04

Okay.

SPEAKER_06

So these two movies have Stallone, like I said. He is in both the movies a com combine of uh ten minutes and three seconds, I think. Uh that's as much time on the screen he got.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, okay.

SPEAKER_06

Okay, so there's prisons, right? And uh Stallone tries to find a plan to get out.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah.

SPEAKER_06

Of both of them. Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah.

SPEAKER_06

Okay.

SPEAKER_00

Stallone goes to prison again.

SPEAKER_06

Well, he didn't go to prison himself. He g had other people go to prison for him. Yeah. And then with like a plan or a strategy to get out. Yeah. Okay.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah. Like you said, he he doesn't have a ton of screen time, but uh I think it's more than ten minutes for both movies.

SPEAKER_04

Oh, okay.

SPEAKER_00

I mean he's more in the third one. The second one I really don't know He wasn't even there. Barely there at all. But uh in the third one, I felt like he got more screen time at least.

SPEAKER_04

Okay.

SPEAKER_00

But anyhow, these movies did have collaboration with the Chinese company, so that's why they had to bring Chinese actors into these movies and everything. But then I'm thinking, why wouldn't they bring like the most famous Chinese of all time in there?

SPEAKER_06

I mean the Because he was working on a different movie.

SPEAKER_00

Maybe. But he and Stallone has they've been talking about making movies together for so long time.

SPEAKER_06

Their entire lives.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, and I mean that could have saved these movies. They weren't great. I like the third one better than the second one though. I wanted us to watch them because I do like the first one. And uh, you know, we're watching Stalone movies, so yeah. What did you think about these movies? What are you smiling at?

SPEAKER_06

Um, I I wasn't that into them. Okay. No. Okay. Don't hate me. I don't remember the first one. Okay. That was like three years ago.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah.

SPEAKER_06

Yeah. But you like them.

SPEAKER_00

I like the first one, yes.

SPEAKER_06

Yeah. Okay.

SPEAKER_00

It's a good one.

SPEAKER_06

Okay.

SPEAKER_00

I felt like we kinda had to see the sequels as well. Okay. Since we've seen the first one.

SPEAKER_06

Okay.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, I I don't know.

SPEAKER_06

And now we have. Yeah? Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, okay. I'm sorry. Yeah.

SPEAKER_06

Now we've seen them. Yeah. Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

We have.

SPEAKER_06

Yeah. And this movie list is filled with movies that you and I both like and dislike or have no idea, and then find out that we never want to watch this ever again.

SPEAKER_00

Mm. Have you also like put movies that you know are not that great on the movie lists?

SPEAKER_06

I mean, we've got the Pokemon movies.

SPEAKER_00

Oh yeah.

SPEAKER_06

That I mean I loved when I was a kid, but they're so cringy now.

SPEAKER_00

We're gonna watch them next year.

SPEAKER_06

Okay. I thought you were gonna say next week.

SPEAKER_00

No, next year, I think.

SPEAKER_06

And Sweeney Todd. We watched that.

SPEAKER_00

Oh yeah, that's on my side.

SPEAKER_06

And I don't like that movie. I don't care for it.

SPEAKER_00

No.

SPEAKER_06

But that wasn't really me. I didn't pick that one.

SPEAKER_00

Oh no, that's true.

SPEAKER_06

That was someone else.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah. If it was up to you, you wouldn't have right.

SPEAKER_06

I approved of it just because. But I don't like it.

SPEAKER_00

No.

SPEAKER_06

Oh, I mean, these things happen. It's fine.

SPEAKER_04

Okay.

SPEAKER_06

Would you like to take a break? Yeah. Let's do that. Let's do that. We'll be back.

Break Then A Friendship Game

SPEAKER_01

We're back.

SPEAKER_06

Hello. We are back.

SPEAKER_00

Yes.

SPEAKER_06

Okay. So you have a couple games in front of you.

SPEAKER_00

I do.

SPEAKER_06

Should we do one? Should we do the other one? Or should we do both? Or what do you want to do?

SPEAKER_00

Uh we we can do we can try both if you want to. Let's start with one. Okay.

SPEAKER_06

Okay.

SPEAKER_00

Do you want name that tune or how well do you know me?

SPEAKER_06

I think you can decide.

SPEAKER_00

I mean, how well do you know me?

SPEAKER_06

We have tried this one. It didn't go so well.

SPEAKER_00

No, but you were already mad at me.

SPEAKER_06

I was probably mad at you the majority of the time.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah. So it didn't really matter.

SPEAKER_06

I guess not. I don't know. You you decide.

SPEAKER_00

But I mean, if we do that one we're just two people. Right. It's not like I can compete with anyone or you.

SPEAKER_06

Oh, I I'm I'm you okay.

SPEAKER_00

Wait, what?

SPEAKER_06

I don't know. I was trying to take it a different way and I couldn't explain myself. So I just I stumbled and I fell.

SPEAKER_00

Ah, okay.

SPEAKER_06

Like I did.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, get up.

SPEAKER_06

I'm trying.

SPEAKER_00

Oh, you need a band-aid.

SPEAKER_06

I do need a band-aid. I need two band-aids. Okay. Maybe three.

SPEAKER_00

All of them.

SPEAKER_06

Oh yeah, might as well just unwrap all of them and see what happens.

SPEAKER_00

It's gonna be a band-aid mommy.

SPEAKER_06

Band-aid mommy. That's me.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah.

SPEAKER_06

Okay, pick one. Let's go.

SPEAKER_00

I mean, we can we can try how well do you know me, but I don't I'm not really sure how it's gonna work.

SPEAKER_06

Okay.

SPEAKER_00

Because uh since we're only two people, then uh there's really just the one winner. I guess uh I guess you can say how see if you guess it right or not.

SPEAKER_06

Well, if you pull up a card, you ask the question and then answer it yourself. Okay, right? I don't know, I don't remember. Let's throw out an example here.

SPEAKER_00

Okay.

SPEAKER_06

So what's the first one you got? Say.

SPEAKER_00

Do I have a surprising secret talent?

SPEAKER_06

Oh, then I'm gonna answer that.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah.

SPEAKER_06

And then you can correct me.

SPEAKER_00

Okay.

SPEAKER_06

Okay. Your surprising secret talent is movies. Yeah. And knowing like all the years and the people and stuff.

SPEAKER_00

That's true.

SPEAKER_06

Okay.

SPEAKER_00

You won.

SPEAKER_06

Yay. Yeah. It's just there's I don't think there's a winner or a loser, really. No. Now we're just answering questions.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah.

SPEAKER_06

Name one of my heroes.

SPEAKER_00

David Havoc. Oh yeah. Maybe.

SPEAKER_06

I'm gonna see him in August.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah.

SPEAKER_06

In Paris. Very excited.

SPEAKER_00

I I remember I got that question last time we played.

SPEAKER_06

And you won it.

SPEAKER_00

Well, I I asked it, so Oh, you couldn't answer it. The rest of the people had maybe someone won it.

SPEAKER_06

I don't know.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah. I think everyone knew the answer.

SPEAKER_06

Okay. Yeah. Alright. It's not that hard. I mean, I literally have his face plastered all over the place.

SPEAKER_00

Would I rather spend a year in a foreign city or a year in a cabin in the woods?

SPEAKER_06

I'm guessing in the woods.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah.

SPEAKER_06

You're most familiar with that.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, because that's basically my life.

SPEAKER_06

Yeah. That's where you grew up.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah. Where I grew up. Yeah. So would you also have answered the same? I don't know. Yeah, I probably. I mean You've been a f in a foreign city for the past twelve years.

SPEAKER_06

Yeah. Yeah. So I don't know. I I don't mind the woods though.

SPEAKER_00

No.

SPEAKER_06

It can be inconvenient, but so can a city. Okay. Matias? Oh, I remember. I have already asked this question.

SPEAKER_04

Okay.

SPEAKER_06

The last time we played this, I got to ask this question, and uh I think you won. Okay. Okay. If I could put five famous people on the guest list to my party, who would they be?

SPEAKER_00

Five.

SPEAKER_06

Actually, no, I think my sister got this one.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah.

SPEAKER_06

But yeah, go ahead. Five people, famous people on my guest list.

SPEAKER_00

Davy. Right. Alec. Uh let's see. That's it. That's it. Yeah, well, I mean No. Davy, Davy, Davy. I would say Tim Curry. Would that be?

SPEAKER_06

Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah.

SPEAKER_06

I think we said dead or alive.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah.

SPEAKER_06

Yeah. This doesn't say that, but I think that we came up with that.

SPEAKER_00

Who else do you like? I don't know you that well, I guess.

SPEAKER_06

You don't.

SPEAKER_00

No. You don't know who I like. I mean, I feel like I have so many to pick from. I guess. I mean, uh, it's like I'm thinking like Rocky, so Richard O'Brien.

SPEAKER_06

Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

Would that be one?

SPEAKER_06

I'd be okay with that.

SPEAKER_00

You'd be okay with that. But I mean Okay, more singers, I guess. I got three so far. Mm-hmm.

SPEAKER_06

Three rights.

SPEAKER_00

Three rights so far.

SPEAKER_06

No left.

SPEAKER_00

No. Weird Al with the Yeah, I'd be okay with that.

SPEAKER_06

Yeah. Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

You'd be okay. Okay, I I'm gonna go Freddie because Oh, yes, definitely. Yeah, okay.

SPEAKER_06

I'm good with that.

SPEAKER_00

Who did I miss?

SPEAKER_06

I feel like you had others that you rather the one I was thinking of in this very moment was Ryan Reynolds. Okay. I would like that.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, that would be cool.

SPEAKER_06

Yep. Okay. I don't know. I guess there there is a list, definitely.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah.

SPEAKER_06

But maybe not a lot of people that you know.

SPEAKER_00

No, okay.

SPEAKER_06

Your turn.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah. Well, I I did pick five at least. So you did. I'm good with that.

SPEAKER_06

Five people who I would accept.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah.

SPEAKER_06

I'd say that's okay. You can come to my party.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah. What songs do I like to dance to?

SPEAKER_06

You don't like to dance. I think that was a trick question. Yeah. So that's a no.

SPEAKER_00

But if I really had to.

SPEAKER_06

If you really have to dance, what are you dancing to?

SPEAKER_00

Someone puts a gun through my head to say, dance, and I'm like, can I request a song? The offspring. Okay. Yeah.

SPEAKER_06

Gosh, what is the title? I know this song. You know this song. And I hope so. You made a video to this song. And I'm not coming up with the title, but Dance. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. You're gonna go far, kid. Yeah. That's it. Yeah. Okay. Okay. Here's a question that I don't even know the answer to. So your guess is as good as mine.

SPEAKER_00

Okay.

SPEAKER_06

How many cousins do I have?

SPEAKER_00

Thirteen.

SPEAKER_06

Hmm. Maybe. I know of four. I have not met one of them, I think. Huh? I I've met I've met four. I've met four of them. Okay. Actual, like, cousins. Uh children of my parents' siblings children. What? What did I just say?

SPEAKER_01

Parents children of my parents' siblings' children. Grandkids. Your parents' siblings, grandkids. That's what you said.

SPEAKER_06

That's not what I meant. No. Children of my parents' siblings. Yeah. And I'm ending it there. I've met four of them. There might be another one. I don't know.

SPEAKER_00

Okay.

SPEAKER_06

Alright. Go ahead.

SPEAKER_00

If I could only at AI. If I could only eat at one restaurant for the rest of my life. What would it be?

SPEAKER_06

Beer.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah. If I could only eat at one restaurant for the rest of my life, what would it be?

SPEAKER_06

Yeah? Where would it be?

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, what would it be?

SPEAKER_06

What would it be?

SPEAKER_00

The restaurant. Would it be fancy?

SPEAKER_06

I have one in mind.

SPEAKER_00

Okay.

SPEAKER_06

Now can you read my mind? What is it?

SPEAKER_00

I might know what you're thinking.

SPEAKER_06

Okay.

SPEAKER_00

Is it a place you know very well?

SPEAKER_06

No, but that's probably gonna be the case anyway. No, no, that's not what I'm thinking of. Okay. I don't want to eat at five guys for the rest of my life.

SPEAKER_00

No.

SPEAKER_06

I really don't.

SPEAKER_00

So what what were you thinking?

SPEAKER_06

Uh the salad place.

SPEAKER_00

Oh, okay.

SPEAKER_06

Yeah. There's a salad place nearby where I work. It's called Holy Greens.

SPEAKER_00

Okay.

SPEAKER_06

And I really like going there because it's like fast food, but it's salad. Like they just they have a whole bunch of ingredients in front of them and they just like pick your salad and make it there for you. And it's really good. And you have eaten there with me a couple times. I have. And it's been really good. Yeah. What were you thinking? Were you thinking?

SPEAKER_00

I I was thinking.

SPEAKER_06

Okay.

SPEAKER_00

I didn't really think that, but uh You didn't think that hard. I didn't think that hard. Did you have something else in mind? Yeah, well, I I wasn't as good as you and my own. Okay.

SPEAKER_06

What were you thinking?

SPEAKER_00

I was thinking like mucks or something.

SPEAKER_06

Oh. My second choice choice would be Dunkins. Oh, okay. Dunkin' Donuts.

SPEAKER_00

Wait, uh was it your were you answering for you or me?

SPEAKER_06

For me.

SPEAKER_00

Oh, okay.

SPEAKER_06

Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

Okay.

SPEAKER_06

I wasn't answering for you. Ah, okay. I didn't know that I was supposed to.

SPEAKER_00

Uh yeah, well, I I thought we did that.

SPEAKER_06

Oh. I've been doing it wrong this whole time.

SPEAKER_00

Oh, so you have been answering for yourself?

SPEAKER_06

Just you. Or like I'd be asking the question and I'd be answering for you, and that was it. And then you were supposed to just correct me. Okay. And not guess for me. Because I I didn't come up with five people for your party.

SPEAKER_00

No, no, but you asked that question. So I came up with five people for you.

SPEAKER_06

Are we changing things up?

SPEAKER_00

I don't know.

SPEAKER_06

Because you want to.

SPEAKER_00

No, no, it it was more like uh we kind of changed strategy in mid-game.

SPEAKER_06

I think you did that. I was not.

SPEAKER_00

I think the opposite. But okay.

SPEAKER_06

You get to listen back on this.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah. That was my question.

SPEAKER_06

I did I read that one?

SPEAKER_00

No, it was me.

SPEAKER_06

Okay. So now I'm gonna read a question and then I'm gonna answer for you. I'm gonna guess what your answer would be.

SPEAKER_00

So you're gonna you read question.

SPEAKER_06

I answer what No, I answer what it would be for you.

SPEAKER_00

Okay.

SPEAKER_06

Okay, we can do that. That's what we've been doing this whole time. No. No? Okay. Maybe we should change game.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, okay.

SPEAKER_06

Okay. Alright, before things get out of hand. Next game.

Name That Tune Trivia Marathon

SPEAKER_06

What's the next one?

SPEAKER_00

Name that tune.

SPEAKER_06

Yay. Okay, so this one was interesting, right? Because there are some challenge cards.

SPEAKER_00

Oh yeah.

SPEAKER_06

Which we like usually skip the challenge cards, right?

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, I think so.

SPEAKER_06

Because no. Do you have an example of a challenge card in there? If you just like go through it and take the first one.

SPEAKER_04

Um what's this say?

SPEAKER_06

Challenge card. Recite a full verse and chorus from your favorite children's TV program. Starting Oh yeah, starting with the player to your right. Each player has one chance. The first player to succeed wins. And then it has a fun fact. Fred Rogers wrote 200 songs for his television show, Mr. Rogers Neighborhood. A full verse and chorus. I wonder if a theme song would be accepted.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, maybe. I don't know.

SPEAKER_06

Because I I know the Pokemon theme song.

SPEAKER_00

I was thinking about that one too, and uh but I I'm like really good. Well, uh No, I'm not. And I mean, I know it in Swedish. Oh, hmm. Okay.

SPEAKER_06

Let's fight. Okay, so I'm gonna take the first card. Do you want me to do that? Or do you want to?

SPEAKER_00

No, you can take it.

SPEAKER_06

What would you rather me? Okay. Okay. So these challenge cards.

SPEAKER_00

Is it another challenge?

SPEAKER_06

We don't have to yeah. There's quite a lot of challenge cards, but I am going to adapt to my question. Okay? To the situation we have now. Because we can't start with a player to your right.

SPEAKER_04

No.

SPEAKER_06

And no one is gonna win. Well, you win if you can do it. Okay? Uh recite the chorus of the song Call Me Maybe by Carly Ray Jepsen. Do you know this song?

SPEAKER_00

Uh I've heard it, but I don't know the lyrics.

SPEAKER_06

You don't know the the chorus?

SPEAKER_00

I don't know any of the lyrics. Okay. Call me maybe. That's right.

SPEAKER_06

Yeah, that's good. That's good. That's some of the words. Okay. Do I get to try?

SPEAKER_00

If you want to.

SPEAKER_06

Okay. I don't know any of the verses, but I know the chorus. It goes, hey, I just met you. And this is crazy. But here's my number. So call me maybe. And all the other boys try to, I don't know. I always say rape me, but that's not the words.

SPEAKER_00

I'm not sway me.

SPEAKER_06

Date me. Try to date me. Uh let's say that. It's definitely not rape me.

SPEAKER_04

Or is it?

SPEAKER_06

All the other boys try to rape me. Well, here's my number. So call me maybe. I don't know. Well, that's not the words, and it's not good to say.

SPEAKER_00

Should I keep this in or should I keep it out?

SPEAKER_06

You decide. Your turn.

SPEAKER_00

What stylish Brazilian musical genre rose to prominence in the 1960s?

SPEAKER_06

What? Brazilian, is that like reggae? No.

SPEAKER_00

No.

SPEAKER_06

What's the Brazilian? I don't know. You tell me. Bossa Nova. I don't know what that is. What's your fun fact? Do you have a fun fact?

SPEAKER_00

Recorded in 1958 by Elisete Cardoso Chega de Swad. Wow. Swad da da die. Or no more blues. Okay, I know that word better. Okay. Is considered considered the first to be the first Bossa Nova song.

SPEAKER_06

Alright.

SPEAKER_00

No more blues.

SPEAKER_06

That's it. Next. What iconic music device was discontinued in 2014?

SPEAKER_00

Device.

SPEAKER_06

In hand.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, yeah. But I'm I'm thinking discontinued. I know what that means.

SPEAKER_06

It's m that means that they don't sell it anymore. Yeah. What went out of style in 2014?

SPEAKER_00

iPods.

SPEAKER_06

Yep. Yeah. You got it.

Animated film number 30.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah.

unknown

Okay.

SPEAKER_06

Challenge card.

SPEAKER_00

Are we gonna do those or just I don't know.

SPEAKER_06

I'm gonna read it and see if I can figure out how we can do it. Or I'm gonna throw it away into the trash can. It says take two nursery rhymes and combine them into one song. Uh for example, Mary had a little lamb that jumped over the moon. You can't use that one though.

SPEAKER_00

Jumped over the moon. I don't even know what that is.

SPEAKER_06

That's okay. Can you take two nursery rhymes and combine them into one?

SPEAKER_00

Baba bits a spider.

SPEAKER_06

Baba bitsy. Anyway, Mary Had a Little Lamb is a different song. Uh it's based on a real incident in Sudbury, Massachusetts in the early 1800s. Mary has always been irresponsible for her little lamb.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah.

SPEAKER_06

I think. Anyway, good job. You get that one.

SPEAKER_00

Okay.

SPEAKER_06

Next.

SPEAKER_00

My turn. Challenge card. Recite a full verse and chorus from the song Let It Go from the movie Frozen, starting with the player to your right.

SPEAKER_06

Okay. I'm not going to sing a verse. No. Because I don't know the verses.

SPEAKER_00

Okay.

SPEAKER_06

But I know. Let it go. Let it go. Can't hold me back anymore. Let it go. Let it go. Turn away and slam the door. I don't care what they're going to say, right? I don't know. You don't know. Let the storm rage on. The cold never bothered me anyway. Yeah. I did it.

I'm just gonna guess one. I'm I'm guessing Ringo.

SPEAKER_06

Okay. It was Paul McCartney.

SPEAKER_00

Oh, okay.

SPEAKER_06

The Beatles officially rebuked the theory in 1969, calling it a load of rubbish.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, that's what they would say, I guess.

SPEAKER_06

Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

What famous rocker has also acted in films alongside such performers as Jason Robards, Jessica Lang, Jeff Bridges, and Dennis Hopper.

SPEAKER_06

Do I know this person?

SPEAKER_00

SPEAKER_06

Like Kid Rock? It's not Kid Rock.

SPEAKER_00

No.

SPEAKER_06

Is it better than Kid Rock? A guy, I'm guessing.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, it's a guy. Personally, I don't really listen to this guy, but uh I know of Jeff Bridges. Yeah.

SPEAKER_06

He's been in which movie with this person.

SPEAKER_00

Uh I don't know actually.

SPEAKER_06

SPEAKER_00

Okay.

SPEAKER_06

Yep.

SPEAKER_00

Has become to be known by what phrase?

SPEAKER_06

SPEAKER_00

You got that.

SPEAKER_06

Thank you. What was the first song transmitted live from outer space? This is difficult. I wouldn't know this.

SPEAKER_00

SPEAKER_06

I'd say so. Jingle bells?

SPEAKER_00

Never heard about it. No? No.

SPEAKER_06

Okay. On the evening of December 15th, 1965, the two uh astronauts, uh astronauts aboard the Gemini 6 spacecraft. Played jingle bells on a tiny set of bells and a harmonica.

SPEAKER_00

SPEAKER_06

Well, we can't all have that perfect date.

SPEAKER_00

No, we can't all have that good memory.

SPEAKER_06

No, I I guess not. Rising to international prominence in the 1990s and 2000s, the popular dance music genre of South Korea is known worldwide as what?

SPEAKER_00

Okay.

SPEAKER_06
