Birth Healing Summit Podcast
What Happens When You Finally Trust Yourself as a Practitioner
Use Left/Right to seek, Home/End to jump to start or end. Hold shift to jump forward or backward.
What if the thing you’re waiting for … is simply the courage to begin?
In this heartfelt and inspiring episode, Lynn Schulte sits down with Occupational Therapist Stephanie Smith to talk about the unexpected journey that led Stephanie from being a new mom experiencing leaking postpartum … to launching her own thriving pelvic health practice.
Stephanie shares the vulnerable story of the moment she realized something in her own body wasn’t right after childbirth – she never expected it would become a major turning point in her life. That single experience eventually introduced her to pelvic health therapy and awakened what she now calls her true calling.
But this episode goes far deeper than business-building.
Together, Lynn and Stephanie dive into:
- Why so many practitioners feel stuck or disconnected from traditional treatment models
- How intuition and presence can completely transform clinical outcomes
- The importance of truly listening to the body instead of forcing protocols
- The profound shifts that happen when practitioners trust themselves enough to begin before they feel “fully ready”
One of the most powerful moments comes when Stephanie shares the story of sitting at an airport gate after attending Lynn’s live Holistic Treatment of the Postpartum Course. She kept hearing an internal nudge to “just do it” and posted a simple offer for free sessions in a local moms group. She boarded her flight with no expectations … and landed to 15 women asking for help.
This conversation is packed with encouragement for:
- Pelvic Health Practitioners
- OTs and PTs considering starting a practice
- Clinicians struggling with imposter syndrome
- Anyone longing to practice in a more intuitive, holistic, and deeply effective way
If you’ve ever questioned whether you’re ready…
If you’ve ever felt the pull toward something bigger…
Or if you simply want to hear an incredibly honest and inspiring story about following intuition and creating meaningful impact –
this episode will stay with you.

Great. Okay. Hello, everybody. Welcome to this episode. And today I have a special guest with us. This is Stephanie Smith.
Stephanie is an occupational therapist and she is the owner of her own practice in North Carolina called Everbloom Pelvic Health.
@1:45 - Stephanie Smith
So welcome to the podcast, Stephanie. Thanks for being here. Thanks for having me. I'm so excited.
@1:49 - Lynn Schulte, PT (lynnschultept@gmail.com)
Well, I, so this podcast is because Stephanie reached out to me after taking, so you've taken both the holistic pregnant body course and the holistic postpartum body course.
And it was just after completing the postpartum body course in, was that March of this year?
@2:50 - Lynn Schulte, PT (lynnschultept@gmail.com)
Okay. So this podcast is the result of an email that Stephanie.
Um, stuff. Stephanie sent me after completing the pregnant body course just in March of this year, and she explained what happened to her after taking the postpartum course last year, and I was just like, what?
I mean, it literally brought me to tears, Stephanie. don't know if you, if I, you know, but I read that.
I was just like, oh my gosh, this is why I'm doing this, and so share with everybody your journey.
What happened? And why did you even take my course in the first place?
@3:32 - Stephanie Smith
Yeah. Oh my gosh. Great question. Prior to getting into pelvic health, I was just working PRN in acute care.
After I had my daughter in 2021, I, instead of going back full time, just went PRN. And after I had her, my husband had the great idea of being like, let's try and be a fit CrossFit couple, which I am not a CrossFit girly.
That's not my cup of tea? tea? That's Yeah. I up dancing anyways, but I was like, yeah, let's try it.
So we go to the free class and the instructor is like, we're going to do a 60 second jump rope.
And I was like, easy. Like I've never had pelvic issues, smooth labor and delivery. Let's do it. 30 seconds in, I'm like, oh, I think I'm peeing my pants right now.
@4:21 - Lynn Schulte, PT (lynnschultept@gmail.com)
And I looked at my husband and I was like, am I?
@4:24 - Stephanie Smith
And he was like, do we need it? And I was like, yeah, we're leaving. We're never coming back. So we left.
I called, uh, my midwife, uh, group at the time offered in-house pelvic PT. And so I went, it took one session and that was it.
I was all better. And I was just like, wow, that's wild. Um, like every woman should have access to this instead of just being told like, oh, well, you had a baby.
It's just, you're not normal. So, um, I met with her for coffee after, you know, I was discharged and I was like, just, just, I want to learn like what.
it. How did you get into this? What classes did you take? Um, and so she told me and, um, left that meeting and I was like, okay, let me just take a class, see if I'm interested.
Um, so I just took a level one Herman and Wallace class. And Lynn, I left that first day and I was like, this is it.
Like I have found my niche and my calling within OT. Um, I just felt so fulfilled. Um, I also just knew it wasn't the right time for me to really do anything with it yet.
I had a little five month old at home and was primarily at home with her. So anyways, fast forward a little bit.
Um, and I met with, for coffee again, um, with a friend of mine who at the time was a stranger, Kirsten Spurrier, who owns her own practice in Hillsborough, who's taken your courses.
And she, um, I just want to learn, how did you get into this as an OT? And so she shared that with me and was like, I'm actually about to take, this trauma.
And I was like, huh. And it kind of like piqued my interest. I had no reason to be in that room with those professionals at the time, like wasn't working in pelvic health.
I kind of was like, what am I doing here? But I really just, I knew one day I was going to be in this space.
So I was just learning what I could. And it was a few months after that, Kirsten invited me to work for her contract one day a week.
So it's kind of how I got my foot in the door a little bit with pelvic health. I was seeing peds and then on the side, she would kind of train me and teach me everything that she learned.
And I just was like, Kirsten, where did you learn? Like, how did you know to do this? Or where did you learn this?
And she was like, Lynn Schulte's treating the pregnant and postpartum body courses. And so I was like, okay. So fast forward another six months or so, we ended up moving.
And so I finished doing contract work for Kirsten. And I started to look at the job market because I was ready to
And so I was like, well, let me take that postpartum class and see. And so I did. And it, again, like the end of that, even just the pre-course material, it was so thorough in the way that you teach really clicked with my brain.
And I'm not someone that learns by just drilling anatomy over and over again. like, I can appreciate it and I respect it, but I need like the, so what behind it.
And I feel like you do such a great job at, you know, capturing that and, and connecting just the holistic part, not just what are the bones and the muscles doing, but, you know, looking at the person as a whole.
So, yeah, I went to, I did your in-person course in Denver and I just, I wanted more. Like, I just was like, oh, I could like stay here for another week and just like learn all the things.
And I was so excited and. One of the things that you said, was Sunday, was the last day, and you were like, if you are not actively working within this population, I highly recommend that you post in, like, a local mom's Facebook group and just offer a free session.
That way you get it in your hands, get it in your body so you don't forget it. And at this point, I'd kind of been talking with Evan, my husband, about, you know, I think I should just go for it.
Like, you know, why not, maybe in, like, a year from now. So that was kind of the timeline that we were thinking, maybe in a year, and in that time, I'll figure out all the details and the legal pieces and everything.
And so I was, you said that, and I was like, hmm, okay, let me think about it. And I'm not, like, a spur of the moment.
I like to, like, you know, I'm very type A, and so I, you know, the next day, I'm sitting at the gate waiting to board my flight, and I thought about it all night.
Like, just do it.
@8:58 - Lynn Schulte, PT (lynnschultept@gmail.com)
Just do it. What's the worst, you know?
@9:00 - Stephanie Smith
So I'm sitting at my gate, I can see the airplane and I'm like, okay, worst thing that happens is I post and no one comments.
And then maybe I take the small hits my pride, but that's okay. Like I can, you know, no big deal.
Best case scenario, people comment and I can make a difference for somebody and offer free service. And when, when I get to practice and build my confidence in this.
So I posted it right before my zone was boarding, put my phone on airplane mode. And then that was it.
I was like, all right, well, and I, and I did, I really felt like this tug and I like heard this voice that said, just do it.
And I was like, okay, I'll just do it. So, and then I boarded the flight and got off, you know, three and a half hours later, landed in Raleigh, turned my phone on.
And there were 15 women who commented on that post.
@9:56 - Lynn Schulte, PT (lynnschultept@gmail.com)
Wow. And yeah.
@9:58 - Stephanie Smith
And my jaw just like. And then followed with a little bit of panic, but the good kind of panic.
@10:06 - Lynn Schulte, PT (lynnschultept@gmail.com)
Okay. First off, Stephanie, I just want to congratulate you for listening to that nudge and listening to that intuition to just post it.
So good job for you. Thank you.
@10:16 - Stephanie Smith
Thank you. Yeah. I, um, the first thing I did, I turned the comments off. Like I was like, 15 is funny.
Um, and then I called my husband and I was like, and he didn't, I didn't tell him about the post.
I just, I don't know. didn't think about it. Um, and I said, Hey, uh, he, you know, Hey, I landed, I'm walking a baggage claim just to let you know.
Um, I made this post on like, you know, the local mom group page and, um, 15 women commented and I kind of like paused.
So I wanted to see what he would say. And he goes, well, and at this point too, I had already like picked, I knew I wanted to name the practice ever bloom.
And he goes, well, looks like you're starting Everbloom. And I was like, okay. And so that's kind of how it, it was like the pre-birth, how it kind of began to, you know, start.
And so I messaged all those people back that night and I was just like, give me about three days and then you'll hear back from me and we'll figure out scheduling and all that.
And so in those three days, I figured I set up my EMR system. I started kind of perusing on Facebook marketplace, like, what are the essentials?
What do I need in order to see these women? And we had already decided that we were going to convert our office and our home into the treatment space.
@11:45 - Lynn Schulte, PT (lynnschultept@gmail.com)
So there wasn't a matter of finding space, which was helpful. Nice. Yeah.
@11:50 - Stephanie Smith
And then that's kind of how it started. they came, that was, I think late July was your class. They came like mid-August and then I officially opened.
Uh, early September. Okay.
@12:02 - Lynn Schulte, PT (lynnschultept@gmail.com)
So you actually saw 15 people for free then?
@12:06 - Stephanie Smith
No, no, no. Okay, cool.
@12:07 - Lynn Schulte, PT (lynnschultept@gmail.com)
Give us the details of the 15, um, five of them actually followed through and got on the schedule and which was much more reasonable.
@12:17 - Stephanie Smith
was a little like, Oh boy, 15, where am I going to do that? Um, and so, yes, of the 15, five got on the schedule and I treated the five, um, you know, for free.
Uh, and then there was kind of like, you know, at that point they're like, well, when are you open open?
I was like, I'm not sure yet. Still trying to figure out the nitty gritty. And so then once I had figured that out of those five, three of them became some of my first clients.
@12:43 - Lynn Schulte, PT (lynnschultept@gmail.com)
Yeah.
@12:45 - Stephanie Smith
Cool.
@12:45 - Lynn Schulte, PT (lynnschultept@gmail.com)
And tell us about the progression for you, like how you had those three and then what happened from there?
@12:52 - Stephanie Smith
Yeah. So I started, you know, earlier on things are a little bit slower, have a little bit more time on my hands.
And so what I did. did. Is I reached out to, there are two like local OBGYN midwife groups in the area.
One is with a big health system. So I wasn't too sure if, you know, like anything there. And then one was smaller.
And so I went to both, didn't really hear back from the bigger one. And that was kind of my expectation.
But from the smaller one, I just brought my, a little about me and my business cards just with the introduction letter.
@13:28 - Lynn Schulte, PT (lynnschultept@gmail.com)
And I left them at the front desk.
@13:29 - Stephanie Smith
And I just said, look, this is who I am. This is a new service that I'm offering. And Samford, can you please just make sure that the providers get this letter?
And she was like, yep, I'll put it on the table right now. And just put my faith in her.
And in that letter, I said, you know, this is what I do. This is why you would refer to me.
And, you know, and, understand that this is a really sensitive, you know, specialty, and you want to make sure that you're referring your clients to someone that you try.
And so I would love to have you come in and give you a free 60 minute session, just so that you know exactly what kind of work you're sending someone to get done.
And, you know, we've met and things like that. And so of those providers, I had one OB and one midwife that actually took me up on that, which I was, I was surprised, you know, one.
Yeah. And so I had an OB and a midwife. So they came and I worked on them and they're like, okay, great.
@14:30 - Lynn Schulte, PT (lynnschultept@gmail.com)
And so then I started getting referrals from them specifically.
@14:35 - Stephanie Smith
Um, and then it just kind of started turning into word of mouth and, you know, now I'm treating so-and-so sister and their mom, you know, it's like a family affair.
@14:47 - Lynn Schulte, PT (lynnschultept@gmail.com)
It just grows.
@14:49 - Stephanie Smith
And that's kind of how it started. Yeah.
@14:54 - Lynn Schulte, PT (lynnschultept@gmail.com)
And how, how confident did you feel on those first five patients that you.
@15:00 - Stephanie Smith
So for free, how confident were you?
@15:02 - Lynn Schulte, PT (lynnschultept@gmail.com)
How, what were your results with them?
@15:05 - Stephanie Smith
Yeah, I, I mean, of course there's that moment of like, you know, like, do I belong here? Like, what am I like, what are you doing?
And I had, I, and I told each of them, I was like, all right, this is the workbook.
@15:21 - Lynn Schulte, PT (lynnschultept@gmail.com)
I was like, I'm going to refer to it because I want to make sure that I'm doing this right.
And they were like, yeah, I don't care.
@15:28 - Stephanie Smith
You know, they were just, they were just there. And so I did like those first five, I just really took my time and, and referred to the workbook.
And the thing is that, like, they immediately, not only were they like, oh, that feels so good, but I could feel the shift in their body.
Like we went from being stuck to like, oh, there's movement now.
@15:50 - Lynn Schulte, PT (lynnschultept@gmail.com)
Right. And so then I was like, okay, I am doing it right because creating a result, you know, which builds confidence.
@15:59 - Stephanie Smith
And then what's great about the way you teach too, and like the, what you teach, like, I feel it, but sometimes I can feel things and they don't, you know, but they feel it too.
And so then there's buy-in because they're like, I feel better. You know, they stand up and they're like, Oh my God, I can like move my hips, you know, or like, and so in the beginning, like with the first, you know, those first five, I kind of was like, I, I did it question mark.
Like, you know, or like, was it just a fluke? Like maybe they, you know, and then I was like, no, like it's because this works and I'm doing it and it's getting results.
And so, you know, I think there will always be a little bit of that. Like, um, what's the phrase that you hear coming out of school?
@16:48 - Lynn Schulte, PT (lynnschultept@gmail.com)
Like you have a little bit of, um, imposter syndrome or you'll make it.
@16:53 - Stephanie Smith
Kind of like a little touch of imposter syndrome, but to be honest, I hope I always have a little bit of that because I think that's.
It's going to be what drives me to like, keep wanting to learn more and keep my skills fresh. So I don't think there's anything wrong with that, but it was definitely more so there in the beginning, but then, yeah, it was like an instant gratification because we both in that one session, it was like, great, you know?
Um, and so from, you know, after those five, once I opened, I, that built, you know, a decent amount of confidence to where I was like, okay, you know, and I do have a very, um, strong, like sense of intuition.
And I, I do try and exercise that muscle as much as I can. And so I started to be like, okay, let's not get so caught up in, in the workbooks.
@17:45 - Lynn Schulte, PT (lynnschultept@gmail.com)
Um, let's, you have the knowledge.
@17:48 - Stephanie Smith
So now let's like, listen to what I'm feeling in my body and let's listen to what I'm feeling in their body.
Cause there've been times where it's like, like, Yeah.
@18:01 - Lynn Schulte, PT (lynnschultept@gmail.com)
And then that's when I just kind of go into that general listening that you teach.
@18:05 - Stephanie Smith
And then it's like, okay, it's right here. You know, and it happened just yesterday. And I was like, okay, really being pulled right here.
And she was like, that's crazy. You say that because I've been like, really like massaging that area. It's really been bothering me.
It's like, great. Let's do something about it. You know? Yeah. Yeah.
@18:22 - Lynn Schulte, PT (lynnschultept@gmail.com)
That creates such buy-in when you're, you know, people are just like, oh my God, how'd you find that spot?
It's like, well, your body told me, your body showed me where I, where I need to work.
@18:31 - Stephanie Smith
So yeah, yeah, exactly. And I think people just love to hear, I mean, it's validating for them to, to be like, oh, well, of course this isn't bothering you.
Like, this is what I'm feeling.
@18:43 - Lynn Schulte, PT (lynnschultept@gmail.com)
And then they're like, okay, I'm not crazy. You know? Right. I can't tell you the number of times just like in feeling what I'm feeling in the body and going, oh my God, it's so validating to the client to go, yeah, you've got some things that are really not happy and not in.
We good place in your body and they're like, okay, good. I'm not crazy.
@19:05 - Stephanie Smith
Like you said, it goes a long way. Just listening, you know, just like be quiet and let them speak.
And then you can, you know, go from there. Um, which I think you do a really good job of that in your courses too.
Um, and I've had multiple clients. So pretty much the only approach really that I was taking with all of my clients was everything that I learned in that treating the postpartum class, because the only other courses I had taken were like trauma informed certification, which was more of the, you know, um, mental side of things, not physically treating, um, but more nervous system regulation, which is a huge part of what I do too.
But then also, you know, like a level one Herman and Wallace class, like a quick in and out. So I was really just using those strategies from that postpartum course, um, in the beginning.
And so many clients were like, 감사합니다. Like— like— Like— Thank One of them actually was from, you know, my, my trial patients, my free classes or my free sessions.
And she was like, I've had pelvic PT before. This was nothing like that. And I was like, great, you know, like, you know, and, or I've had people just say like, I was kind of nervous to like come because I've tried pelvic therapy before and it was just a bunch of exercises and I really don't feel like I got anything out of it or I didn't notice a change.
And I was like, yeah, I don't blame you for, for being a little conscious about coming. Like, so it's fun.
Cause I feel like it's a different approach to treating, you know, the client, but it's so effective and they see it, you know, I feel it in their bodies, but then they also feel it in their bodies, like within one session, know?
Yes. Yes.
@20:55 - Lynn Schulte, PT (lynnschultept@gmail.com)
I love, and I don't know if it's for you, but the most common. I I hear out of my patients' mouths when they stand up from the session is, wow, I feel different.
Yeah.
@21:08 - Stephanie Smith
I feel different. Like their body feels different.
@21:10 - Lynn Schulte, PT (lynnschultept@gmail.com)
And I would say a lot of that is from just helping if they had the open birthing pattern, which if they're postpartum, the majority of people do.
@21:19 - Stephanie Smith
But just closing that open birthing pattern just makes a huge, huge difference. And nobody's looking for that.
@21:27 - Lynn Schulte, PT (lynnschultept@gmail.com)
Nobody's looking for that. So I, you know, it's, it's funny. The younger generation, I feel old saying that, but I, I love the boldness of the younger generation and that they're just going to like, oh, I'm going to start my own practice.
I'm just out of school. I'm going to start my own practice. And that's great because yes, we do have a knowledge base that is higher than the average person.
Right. But I tell them this comes a lot from the OT summit. You know, I was talking to a bunch of OTs there.
There was like. Yeah. I'm going to start my practice. I'm like, you know what? If you could just take my, my course, you will have the skills that you need to be successful with your clients for them to feel a change and a difference in their body.
And, you know, I, I just think that that's what you did, right? You came and took that postpartum course and boom, you went off to the races and you've been successful ever since.
Yeah.
@22:25 - Stephanie Smith
So it's like, there's so much material in that postpartum pregnancy course as well. But the postpartum, you know, it's like a thick workbook and hours of material ahead of time.
And then you really get it, you know, in your body in person. And then of course, having you there to, it was so helpful for me in both postpartum and pregnancy.
Like when you would put your hands on top of mine and I could like really feel like, Oh, okay.
Yeah. You know, it just, and it's that extra confidence where it was, you know, it's like, what are you feeling?
And I would share anything. And like, yeah. And I'd be like, okay, I'm doing it. Confirmation.
@23:04 - Lynn Schulte, PT (lynnschultept@gmail.com)
Great, great.
@23:04 - Stephanie Smith
Okay. So yeah, it's just, I tell like everyone that I've spoken to, I just rave about your classes. And it's just like, if you're going to be working within this, you know, specific niche, know, pregnancy, postpartum, really anybody, but especially pregnancy, postpartum, like you have got, it should be like imperative, you know, to take Lynn's course.
Versus the pregnancy and the postpartum class, because I don't really know, like, without that, and just taking more of the foundational classes that we hear about, it's like the tip of the iceberg.
And I, I confidently feel like maybe I could help a little bit without, you know, all this knowledge, but not lasting results.
And I feel like I would be questioning, like, why aren't they getting better? Like we're doing, we're doing, you know, all these things.
Yeah. I did internal work and nothing, you know, nothing changed. And so it's, yeah, I almost feel like if you're going to be in this, you know, within this population, like you really do need to take your pregnant or postpartum class.
Thank you.
@24:16 - Lynn Schulte, PT (lynnschultept@gmail.com)
Nobody's covering the bones like I do. And the bones are critical, critical for pelvic health. It's what the pelvic floor attaches to people, but nobody else is teaching.
How to address it other than the anterior posterior rotation. Like that's all that PT is focusing on and nobody's addressing the pelvic outlet.
And that's the greatest impact during birth. And, and that's what helps you to get the results that you're getting, Stephanie.
And I just, I'm so grateful for you and I'm so, so excited for you and what you're doing and the ripple effect you're having out there.
It's just amazing to hear. thanks. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. I, um, I just, I do, I still remember your email and how much it, I broke down into tears just reading it because it was like, Oh yes, this is why I'm doing this.
This is the, the, the dream, right? I, when I was getting those great results in the clinic, I'm like, I can't see every mom out there.
I know I can't. So let me see if I can share this and other people get the great results.
And I'm so excited that you are. So thank you.
@25:31 - Stephanie Smith
You had talked about that ripple effect the last day in the pregnant course. And I was like, Oh, I've got to tell her about how everyone started because that's a perfect example of, of that, you know, ripple effect.
It was after I took your class. So. Yeah.
@25:47 - Lynn Schulte, PT (lynnschultept@gmail.com)
Uh, well, congrats and way to have the confidence and the boldness to just go for it and do it.
And I just absolutely am so, so grateful to you for learning from me and And to get this work out into the world and affecting all those, those women, those clients that you're working on.
And, you know, this, this work, it doesn't have to just be a pregnant postpartum woman, any, any person in pelvic health, you're, you can make great changes with what you've learned in both of those courses.
@26:17 - Stephanie Smith
So 100%. Yep. Yeah. Yeah.
@26:20 - Lynn Schulte, PT (lynnschultept@gmail.com)
Awesome.
@26:20 - Stephanie Smith
who have never been pregnant, never want to be pregnant. And I start, I start every single client with assessing the pelvic bones.
That's where, where we start. And there's just so many stories within that, you know, in that place. And yeah, it doesn't matter if they've had a baby or not.
We can always find like, aha, right here, you know?
@26:42 - Lynn Schulte, PT (lynnschultept@gmail.com)
Yeah. Yeah, definitely. Oh my gosh. Well, thank you so much for taking the time to share your story with us today.
just absolutely made my day. And I hope, I hope others listening in, for those of you listening in that you're thinking about starting a practice or you're not quite sure.
You have the confidence. I hope. Stephanie's story will inspire you. I also, I'm surprised I said for free, because I always like some sort of an exchange happening.
But what I what comes to mind for me is like, you can offer it for free, or maybe offer a session and have the person just pay you whatever they can, you know, so there is some sort of exchange happening.
Or if you're willing to do it for free, ask for five referrals of friends.
@27:27 - Stephanie Smith
Oh, that's a great idea. Yeah, right.
@27:30 - Lynn Schulte, PT (lynnschultept@gmail.com)
I will say I did ask them, you know, when I made the post, I said, you know, in exchange for a review of your experience, because I knew I need to start getting reviews.
@27:39 - Stephanie Smith
And so that was a quick way that I got five, five star reviews on Google to kind of get started.
@27:45 - Lynn Schulte, PT (lynnschultept@gmail.com)
Yeah, there you go. It gets something you guys in return.
@27:48 - Stephanie Smith
Don't just do anything for free.
@27:50 - Lynn Schulte, PT (lynnschultept@gmail.com)
Make sure that you get something in return in exchange for your energy, because that's really money is just an exchange of energy.
So if you get five, you know, star. Reviews on Google, that definitely helps your ranking. So you're getting some from it.
So great. Awesome. Any last words of wisdom that you want to share, Stephanie?
@28:09 - Stephanie Smith
Gosh. No, I think just go for it and trust your intuition. And, you know, there's always going to be more things that you can learn.
But I think really tuning into your own body and just being present. Um, as soon as I get out of that headspace, when I start to think, you know, what can I do to help fix this body?
Like me to them, it's like this, it turns off. And then as soon as I like pause and internally just say, okay, to their body.
Yeah.
@28:43 - Lynn Schulte, PT (lynnschultept@gmail.com)
What do you want to show me?
@28:44 - Stephanie Smith
It's like immediately there's like a communication now. And it's like, okay, I was, you know, trying to force my skill set onto this body that didn't need that.
And then as soon as they just kind of surrendered to their tissues, then their tissues. okay, Thank It's just, you know, they'll talk.
So just listening.
@29:03 - Lynn Schulte, PT (lynnschultept@gmail.com)
Yeah.
@29:04 - Stephanie Smith
They tell a story and it's our job to learn to read it.
@29:07 - Lynn Schulte, PT (lynnschultept@gmail.com)
So good job in learning how to read it. That's so, so helpful. I love it. Thank you. Thank you, Stephanie.
And thank you everybody for listening in. And I hope this gives you some inspiration to go start your own practice if that's what you desire or to really implement what you learned right away because that's where the magic lies.
