Pats should FIRE Mike Vrabel now! NFL Draft: NYG stun at 5! PHI trades back, grabs WR!
Use Left/Right to seek, Home/End to jump to start or end. Hold shift to jump forward or backward.
How do the hell does Mike Vrabel still have a job? New England needs to show some guts and balls and fire this fraud right now! No way you can trust this guy to lead your franchise going forward! #patsnation #nfl #nflnews #nflfootball #patriots #mikevrabel #diannarussini

Good afternoon, everyone.
SPEAKER_02Welcome in to a Thursday edition of OnQ. Coming out you live inside the friendly confines of the remote SR 1029 FN The Game Studios. As always, I'm your host, Rich Kenyunas. Hope everyone had a good sports Wednesday. You are enjoying your Thursday, the 23rd of April, 2026. Uh, get in on the conversation. Very easy to do. You can hashtag onQ, follow along on XNIG, TikTok Rich Q on the mic. Always get social with us. Subscribe, like, comment, check out the YouTube channel. As the NFL draft is among us, the NBA playoffs are in full gear. Uh, the Mets are still a sinking ship. The Phillies are a sinking ship. And we get Mike Grable and Miss Deanna Rossini. So Jonathan Marshall's gonna join me in 15 on the NBA. Lloyd Vance at 4:30 on the um draft. So let me just start. Let me just start because Wednesday was a Wusa Wednesday, and the allergies got me just ridiculously grumpy. I was just, I was, I was angry Q, which apparently a lot of people like with the allergies. You know, had a little hot toddy, did a little tea, dropped a little lemon, a little uh Hall's Mentalyptus, you know, going old school, a little Lodges, right? Uh the kind from CVS. And I'm feeling much better. And I figured, you know what? We got the draft tonight. I think my Giants might make a couple shocking moves at 5 and 10. The Jets or the Raiders gonna get their guy. We know they are. Then you get everything going down with Mike Raven and Deanna Rossini. And I will mention too later on about the two radio hosts in Boston that were fired. Page six now. See, you got the head coach. You got the head coach that basically comes out and says, I have to do an about face. I gotta do an about face. I have to go get counseling, right? Which is a croc. It's a friggin' croc. So now you have these photos come out of him and Diana, and they're hanging out from six friggin' years ago, mind you. Six years ago. So someone's been hanging on to these photos. Who the hell knows if it was a P.I. just waiting for the right moment. But these two are huddled up, both married, caught kissing at a New York City bar six years before the scandal. And it is a scandal. So for everyone that sits there and tells me, don't be holier than now, throw stones at glass houses, you wouldn't know you're not a married man, this, that, the other thing. You'll never have a spouse in your life. You have no idea. Shut up. I don't want to hear this crap anymore. For this head coach to not only avoid the media, for this head coach to then sit there and say, counseling, and I'm gonna miss a day of the draft. Let me just start on, let me just start on a Thursday, which is no longer just a regular Thursday. It's no longer a regular Thursday. It is now known as a thought out Thursday. That's because I got a thaw out. Mike Rabel at this moment should be fired as head coach of the New England Patriots. This is not a hot take, this is not a muffin take, a mit take. He should be fired as head coach of the New England Patriots. And I'm gonna tell you exactly why. Because this man is a friggin' fraud and a friggin' liar. And you want to snake in the grass like that in your organization, you're gonna tell me, you're gonna try to sell me that he's gonna get counseling. No, not happening. Once a rat, always a rat. Once a cheater, always a cheater. This is not counseling. This is basically him trying to save his friggin' family and his marriage. And if I'm these respective spouses, I kick both of their asses out the door, to be quite honest with you. Because now everyone's starting to draw these parallels about her kid being born at the same time or the affair took place. I mean, I don't, it's it's going to get to the point where so much more is going to come out. But if you are the New England Patriots who have dropped the ball from the get-go when it comes to PR, if you are Deanna Rossini's group, when it comes to marketing PR, you dropped the ball. If you are Mike Grabel's agent, you drop the ball. He should have taken this on head on. And for this jackass clown to sit there several weeks ago and when someone asked him about photos and caught laughable, who the hell's laughing now? Seriously. Who is laughing now? No one's laughing now. Because it is a scandal. It is. It's an absolute scandal and it's a friggin' debacle and it's a friggin' disgrace. It is a disgrace. And here's the other thing. You don't think the NFL's thinking to themselves, all right, what are we gonna do here? Are we gonna force the Patriots to make a move? Or is this guy gonna this guy on the eve of the draft? On the eve of the NFL draft, mind you, this nonsense comes out. You gotta love timing. You gotta love timing, do you not? Timing is everything in life, as they used to say. This is embarrassing. And again, no one, no one believes anything coming out of this man's mouth. Who, oh, by the way, just threw Diana Rossini, uh uh Diana Rossini under the bus. Just backed up over like 16, 7, uh, 17 times, twice on Sunday. You can't trust that man to be a leader of men. And you guys can sit there again, holier than now. Here we go. You know, who are you to sit there? Someone should lose their job and not lose. I I again, I don't want to hear it. I don't want to hear it, okay? Because if you go back, she also reported that the Titans were not interested in Tom Brady, they were gonna go after or resign Ryan Tannehill, the same time Mike Grable was the head coach. So don't tell me, please don't give me the friggin' Karen babe in the woods shit on a thought-out Thursday that that again this was a one-off. It wasn't. It wasn't a one-off. This is utterly ridiculous. And now you're gonna avoid the media? I mean, you're gonna avoid it. You're gonna take time to regroup to like because counseling is gonna make you keep it in your pants in a day. Oh, absolutely. I've seen it wonders. Absolutely, yeah. Do a little taboo, a little bad juju, a little maloiki. Here we go. Uh, you know, uh close your eyes and count backwards from 30, Mike Grable. Here we go. Now going forward, you're gonna you're not gonna park your car in someone else's friggin' driveway. Get out of here with that nonsense. If I'm the Patriots, you get through the draft, and then I fire his ass. I fire his ass. And two wrongs don't make a right. Don't get me wrong, if that makes sense. Don't get me wrong. They don't. They don't. And I'm telling you right now, nobody, nobody likes talking about this kind of stuff. Because, listen, I'm not gonna take you again, right, down the rabbit hole. But those that are chiming in sitting there saying, Oh, it's you know, it's their business, man. Are you under a rock? Where the hell have you been hiding? It's gotta be the Pats fans, the Pats nation that sits there, right, with their head up their friggin' ass. Because look at this franchise, Spy Gate, Deflate Gate, Massage Gate, now Roussini Gate. Come on, stop. Stop. Sit there. This is what I do for a living. It's a huge story. And why? Because I'm not married? What do you think? I haven't been in a relationship before. You don't think someone's ever told me, you know, get your ass out of the door. You know, Pats fans, you can cry all you friggin' want. Here's the friggin' bottom line. Your head coach is gonna be out of a friggin' job soon. You can bookmark it, you can guarantee it. There's no way. There is no way, right? That the Patriots are gonna sit here and take this PR hit. Because the the underlying issue is also this. What the hell did this man tell this woman? Seriously. Think about it. Think about it. What the hell did he tell her? I mean, seriously. It's utterly ridiculous. And you go back to the AJ Brown stuff, which is technically kind of tampering, forget about the pillow talk. Listen, this is a huge story because it's all about how we consume our information, how beat reporters, how insiders consume information. And if you go to certain lengths, and let's just call for what it is, they were having an affair, they've been having an affair, it's been going on for years. But how how do you know what do you know, what you don't know of the stuff that was basically being exchanged? The information that is a horrible, horrible look. I mean, if I'm the Patriots, I can't trust this man to be head coach. I can't. This guy's approaching the draft like his marriage. He's gonna be present, yeah, maybe here and there. It is a bad, bad look. It's a horrible look. It is a weak, pathetic look. And don't again sit there and tell me I got guys hit me up on X right now. Oh, you have no idea. What wait, why? You know, you sit there and you say uh I do. That's what friggin' marriage is all about. If you want to go cheat, don't get married. I mean, what do you want from me? Like, don't blame it on me if you're stuck in your miserable lives. You're doing your nine to five, if you gotta go to Home Depot on a friggin' Saturday and mow the lawn and take the kids out to Arby's. That's not my friggin' problem. You sat up there at the friggin' altar. You said I do. Sorry, don't take it out on me. I don't want to hear it. I don't. I don't want to hear it. It's utterly bad. It's bad. You're not gonna, you're not gonna fix it. You're not gonna fix it. It's been a horrible peel spin, but you can't have him head coach anymore. You can't. You know there's character clauses, you know there's uh morals clauses in in contracts, and the fact that he's stepping away, what does that tell you? He's done. He's done. Either the Patriots are gonna come out with a statement soon enough that they decide it to go in a different direction, or the Patriots are coming out with a statement soon enough that Mike Raybull is uh in uh stepping away indefinitely, and they will start to look to replace a head coach. He can't coach anymore. He can't. He can't. He can't sit there and try to hold others accountable when he sat up there two friggin' weeks ago and said these photos were laughable and he dismissed it, and he dismissed the media. And oh, by the way, shame on the network. What is it, EEI, bunch of rats up there too, firing host. Because they actually had a friggin' opinion. Now, I don't know what the ratings are or the ratings were, but shame on them. Like this scandal is just the plot thickens. The plot thickens because nobody wants to touch us, and now you got the rat shit, the mother shit that's forced to talk about it. Now you got former players that are doing podcasts that were with the Patriots, who, if you know, because I've interviewed a lot of them over the years, it's all about the Patriot way. They don't want to throw anyone under the bus. They don't want to get involved in that. It's a shitstorm. It is a shitstorm right now. And the only way, and oh by the way, on the eve of the NFL draft where Roger Goodell comes out, he's gonna get booed. I mean, Roger Goodell can come out with Jesus. He could. Roger Goodell can sit there and say, with the number one pick, the Raiders select Jesus Christ. And guess what? Roger Goodell walking out and giving a hug to Jesus Christ, he's still gonna get booed. That's the allure of the draft. That's why we love the draft. But on the eve of the NFL draft, this story drops? This bombshell drops?
unknownHa!
SPEAKER_02You gotta be kidding me. All right, let me see what you guys have to say. Don't forget hashtag on Q. Uh, don't forget Jonathan Marshall on the NBA 4. Lloyd Vance at 4:30. Uh, we are thawing out. Uh Joey says Q's voice is back. Allergy is subsiding today a little bit. We got a little fired up. I'm here as the uh, what is this? Uh is that a time queue? At least be on time. What are you talking about? Four o'clock. We fired off a little earlier, right? Angry Q is always a much watch. I think so too. I think it's probably the best kind, right? You know, like in sci-fi, you got the gaudy Q. Uh, as soon as I saw photos from 2020 come out this morning, I was waiting for this from Q. Uh Q has the heavy 3-4 zips today. 64. I just took Kiki out. 64. 64, I think, right? The last time I checked. 64. It was a little chilly out today. Uh, behavior detrimental to leagues and targeting. Right, because isn't DV excellent point. Isn't the NFL all about what protecting the shield? Right? Apparently, Grable is going to miss a day of the draft for counseling. Right, because that's gonna do it. That that's actually gonna fix it. Steve goes, shoot. I kind of like that handle. The fact that Mike Rabull isn't counseling with his wife, obviously they have issues. And if you're not married, you have no clue with uh clue and uh, dude, it's not your life or business. Nobody cares, but you can cry. Nobody cares, right? Because no one's talking about it. I mean, come on, man. Come on. I love the handle, but you're a little off base there. Thought Thursday, Q News of Trademark. That I'm going to. Uh, and you're an Eagles fan. Oh, you got enough drama. You should be aggravated, to be quite honest with you, because of the whole AJ Brown kind of nonsense. When everyone sits there and says it's not a story, you are so off base. It is a national story, it is a national sports story. Like, no disrespect. Have some of you been living under a friggin' rock for the last several weeks? I mean, and you're talking about, too, the Patriots. You're talking about the Patriot Way. You're talking about the dynasty that is or was the New England Patriots? So, like I said, I hearken back. Deflate gate, spy gate, massage gate, now you got photo gate. It is a story. Whether you guys think it's not, you're living under a friggin' rock. Right? Now, I'll say this does it affect the draft or the coverage? No, not at all. Not at all, because they're not gonna touch it. We know, we know, and we'll talk to Lloyd Vance at 4:30 on the draft. We know what direction the Raiders are going. We know we have an inkling of the Jets in Arizona, Tennessee. I think the Giants are gonna make a surprise at five. But it is funny because, like I said, I know we get displaced fans that chime in, Cowboys fans, Washington fans, a lot of Eagles fans, Giants fans, Pats fans. I got Pat fans getting on me right now, and they are just absolutely just uh they're not they're not very happy. And that's okay. I don't really care. All right, four o'clock straight up. We'll get to the NFL. I got a lot of comments coming in, but I did want to get into the NBA. I know we got to squeeze them on for a couple moments. Uh the Sixers finally friggin' woke up the other day. My Knicks might be in trouble. Uh, you got the NBA playoffs. I promise I I see a lot of comments coming in. We will get to a lot of comments. That's why I decided to fire off early today because we wanted to get in uh to this, to be quite honest with you. And let me punch up Jonathan in a second. I got a lot of comments coming in. We will get through them as well. Lloyd Vance in about 20 or so minutes, but we welcome in our good friend, Jonathan Marshall, who never has to worry about having photos taken of him. Uh, kind enough to join me a couple. Yeah, no, no doubt, right? Don't forget we're powered by our good friends over at Freebrooks Purpose. Get ready with tea. All right, uh, we got a lot of comments coming in on the NFL, the Grable stuff. Uh, I'll get your eagles' thoughts in a couple moments. But hey, listen, I know you didn't want to, you know, you you you not tweeted at me, but you sent me the little googly eyeballs the other day, and it wasn't out of love talking about the friggin' Philadelphia 76ers. Yeah, they got a game against the Boston Celtics. They're not gonna shoot 50% from uh beyond the arc. They're not winning the series. It's still over, but I'll give credit where credit is due. Guys stepped up and they made the defensive adjustments. Now, with the win the other night, if they stretch the series to six and still lose and it's competitive, that's got to be a worst-case scenario for the Sixers, right? Because the belief of let's run it back.
SPEAKER_05Um where do we even begin? So it look, it was good to see the team after the game one display, looking like a team that had no business being in the playoffs. It was good to see them show actually, okay, this is a competent basketball team. We belong on this floor with these guys. It was good to see Maxie and Edgecomb actually show, like, look, this is the future, this is the way that this team should be going. Forget about the old heads. This is new energy, fresh, young, vibrant. You saw the energy that Edgecomb had, you saw the energy that Maxi played with. This is sort of maybe like a glimpse at to what the Sixers should be uh moving forward. Now, I don't expect the Subs to shoot 26% from three. Nope. And, you know, I covered this team for a few years, cue. This is what they do in the playoffs, right? Like there's always that one game where they just, for whatever reason, the shots just not falling that day, right? And so knowing Joe Mazzula and his style in the system, they're going to live and die by the three, right? That that classic line. And so to me, it comes down to which team do you trust more in this playoff situation? I still trust Boston. I trust their coaching. I trust Jason Tatum and Jalen Brown. They've been there before, they've won a championship. I trust the role players. I expect Peyton Pritchon and Derek White to play better. Um, that's just the reality of it, right? I still don't, I mean, coming into it, I figured Boston and five, gentlemen sweep, and they're still on track for it. So we'll see what happens Friday. Uh, Friday will be really telling, though, I will say, the type of energy that the Sixers come out with on game three in their home floor. And Boston on the flip side, seeing what energy they come out with, right? And so it'll be interesting on Friday.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, listen, um, and and that's again kind of why they play the game, right? I mean, think about these series right now. Um, you know, Magic come back down to earth, the Thunder with that commanding 2-0 lead. Uh, my Knicks are in trouble. I hated that last sequence. And again, not to be labored uh the point, but I told you I didn't like the series. I didn't like Atlanta. I didn't like the matchup. I still felt the Knicks were gonna win this series. I didn't think it was gonna be uh an easy series, but the bottom line is you're already starting to see the flaws in the Knicks. They haven't been able to rebound. The shot selection has been poor at times, the defense is lapses, you're in the fourth quarter, 12-point lead. You got to be able to close it out. I'm not gonna sit there and say colossal choke job. We saw last year against Indiana. I don't need to rehash it. But I don't trust Brunson because, again, the bulk of the offense, I don't trust Kat. There were some series where it's like one or five coming down the floor and you're chucking up threes. Like right now, if the Knicks lose tonight, if the Knicks go on and lose tonight, they will lose the series. They will lose the series.
SPEAKER_05Yeah, I mean, last week we talked about it, right? I said the Knicks should win because you look on paper, right? The names versus name for name, the Knicks should win, right? But they should not overlook the Hawks. And we saw it, we saw it the other night, right? Um, look, the question with the Knicks is this. You know, we know what Brunson and we know what cat bring, right? But Mikhail Bridges, 10 points, he has to provide those other guys, OG, uh Mikhail Bridges, those guys have to provide a little bit more of an offensive threat. And the playoff ball, honestly, and we're and this is a conversation I'm seeing on Twitter. This is something that I've been thinking about for the longest now. How many creators do you have? How many guys do you have that can handle the ball, create, get you a bucket? The Hawks, no McCullough, Nikhil, Alexander Walker, Jalen Johnson is coming to his own. So they have three guys that can create and do a little something, whether it's scoring, whether it's getting to a spot, getting a bucket, whether it's creating for others. They have three guys that can do that. But the Knicks, outside of Brunson, who do you trust to really give me the ball? Let's make something happen. Because it's all reliant upon Jalen. Make something happen for us, right? And then you have Kat, who sometimes is trying to be the best shooting big man of all time, instead of being a big man and using his physical gifts.
SPEAKER_02Yeah. Well, that's the problem that they ran into even um last year, to be quite honest, right? I mean, it's just it's one of these things where it's kind of like a damned if you do, damn me if you don't, because the way the NBA is constructed, you still got to play defense, right? There's always going to be that element of the half-court offense. You got to be able to lock down and close in the fourth quarter. They can't do that. Um, and listen, it's a huge game for them on the road tonight. Um, you know, I think Cleveland playing well, they'll get past Toronto, uh, Denver, and Timberlows, that's an interesting series. Now, how about LeBron turning back the clock? I mean, look, I know that we've been critical of LeBron James. I get it. But listen, you get that 101-94 win, close to a triple-double. Smart had 25-7-5 the other night. That's a big win against a team in Houston that I thought could potentially make a deep run. They find themselves down 2-0 in that series. Yeah, man.
SPEAKER_05So it's the Kevin Durant conversation, right? Yeah you get it, you get you they got a big name, but you forget you got to build a team. Who's the point guard for Houston? Right, right, right. And that's a huge question mark. I mean, Fred Van Vliet got injured, and that was going to be a major, major concern. And so Reed Shepard, you know, he's been up and down throughout this season. I mean, Thompson is talented, but he hasn't proven that he can handle that load full time. And so you still need a guy that controls the floor, gets guys in their spots, understands the tempo, manipulates the game. You still need that in the NBA. And so with Houston, the situation is yes, you have a KD, but at a certain point, you gotta be honest and say, at a certain age, guys. Aren't built to carry the load. Kevin Durant, great player still, but he's not the Kevin Durant we once knew. Yeah. So 35 plus, you shouldn't be relying on a guy to carry you. Houston doesn't have that guy that's taking over. Sin Gyun is is just that's not him. And so LeBron is still good enough to beat a Houston squad. And you still have other guys like Luke Connard is stepping up. He's playing out of his mind. Who on Houston can you expect to actually step up and play above themselves right now, outside of a KD? And we're not seeing it right now. I mean, Josh Okoji's starting for you, Jabari Smith. I mean, it's just there's not enough consistent and proven guys on this roster, and that's the main issue with Houston. You add a big name in KD, but what about the rest of the team?
SPEAKER_02Well, it's incomplete. It's the incomplete roster. Yeah, the problem is, like you said, the lack of bench, but they're not playing, you know. I listen, I liked them because I thought they were playing defense.
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_02You know, several uh weeks ago, several months ago. By the way, I gotta I gotta get to them. Where's uh Joey's comment? Hold on a second. I got so many in here. Joey says, Is uh is Jonathan in the dungeon? It's like the unfinished basement.
SPEAKER_05I guess basement, unfinished basement. Hey, it's working though, it's working.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, yeah, listen, yeah. I mean, it's better than you in the car, and you got you know, uh getting ready to call you uh uh Difus with the baby in the street.
SPEAKER_05Always keep on your tone where I might be. You never know where I might be. Yeah, yeah. Um forget KD's burner account tweets too at all-star weekend. Like, what impact does that have on the roster, right? Like, come on. So it's just this team is a mess. It's a mess.
SPEAKER_02Uh listen, I I guess it was a bad play by me. I actually thought they were gonna win this series. Uh, how about San Antonio? I know uh Wemby goes down with the concussion, which was kind of brutal. Uh look, I mean the worst case scenario right now is again, you lose him for a game or two, and you're not an up one apiece against a team you have no business losing, right? Uh a 42-win team. They're still better. Look, they're two and a half point favorite on the road, even without him. They they they should get through this series.
SPEAKER_05They should. And last week when we talked, you asked about my sleepers. I mentioned the Rebelboys. I said, look, I don't think they're ready yet, but I like their makeup. If you haven't watched the Blazers, it's a team that plays defense at their best, right? They have a Drew Holiday and Experienced Guy Championships, right? A guy who has been there and he's sort of been like a great presence for them. Scoot Henderson is coming to his own. Denny Atvia has been one of the most improved players. He's he's just a beast when he drives to the bucket. He he's a matchup problem. Tamani Kamara, Donovan Klingon. So these are this is actually a well-built roster. They just don't have the experience, right? And so against San Antonio, if you have a Wimby, that pretty much, you know, it's just not fair. Now, without Wimby, their chances improve because this is a team that understands, like, listen, the pressure's on the Spurs, the number two seed. No expectations for Portland. Like, who expected Portland to even be in this position to be in the playoffs, right? And so this is a team that's just enjoying their experience, trying to get as much uh valuable playoff experience as they can. And they're showing improving. Like, this is this is a really solid Portland squad. I've been trying to tell, like, this is a really good squad. Yet the Spurs still have enough talent to overcome this, but without Wimby, these games should be much closer.
SPEAKER_02I want to get back. Um, Joe and Philly chimes in. If the Sixers figure out a way to win this series, what does that say about the current makeup of the team without Embiid?
SPEAKER_01That's a very good question.
SPEAKER_02That's a really good question. That's a very and I'm a little surprised because half the time I don't know what the hell my listeners are thinking, but that's a that's a very good and I love all you. That's a very good question.
SPEAKER_05It tells you, it tells you where they should be heading. That's what we talked about. Focus on that guard play, Maxie, Edgecombe. That's that's where the future should be. These guys without Embiid on the floor. Now I think Maxie and Edgecombe, I think those guys sort of have it in their mind like to be in attack mode. We don't have to worry about, okay, we got to make sure the big fella gets his, and he's obviously the center. He he everything revolves around Embiid when he's out there on the floor. You take him off the floor, okay. Now I have to do this. Like, right? I have the free reign to attack. And we saw that the other night in Boston. And so um, we'll see what happens Friday. It's gonna be really interesting to see how both teams respond, how the Sixers respond to success. Now, the Celtics, who have done so over the last two years, they've shown that they can respond to uh playoff setbacks.
SPEAKER_02Well, look, the Celtics are a very good team, right? I mean, we know they're a very good team. Right. Uh, White looks cooked, that's a problem, but I still trust their coaching, their stars, their bench, and their playoff pedigree. But I will say this if the Philadelphia 76ers, you know, you're at home, you're selling your$30 right ticket, and your parking is 65, whatever the hell it is. Um, if they get a win here, 2-1, now all of a sudden you got Boston thinking, okay, what the hell's going on? And I hate the fact, too. I can't stand the fact that you have a day off. So you play Friday, you get day off Saturday, then you come right back and you play on Saturday. I hate that. Give me the old school 2-3-2. Yeah. But the Sixers have the momentum now. If they go up 2-1, then listen, all bets are off on Sunday. Now, I still don't believe in beads going to play in this series, but that will put a little more pressure on the Celtics. And you know this as much as I do. You're down 2-1, you tighten up a little bit. I don't care how good of a franchise you are.
SPEAKER_05Yeah, you it definitely there has to be some questions on your mind. Okay, what's going on? Have they figured this out? And for the Sixers, there has to be a confidence boost, right? But I still, I don't know. It's just something about that experience that attain them and a brown, what they've been able to do since they came into the league, like they've they've won in the playoffs, right? And so I gotta think at a certain point, even if they're down to one, like, they've they've they've had to face, they've had to face some playoff series being down over the years, and they've and they've battled back, right? And so even if they go down 2-1, do I still feel that they would lose the series? I still don't think they would. A part of me still would try to say, you know what, I gotta trust that experience. I just I just have to. I have to.
SPEAKER_02Joey's getting nervous watching you from the basement. Freddy Kruger, DB says, don't worry, he's got the halo. Yeah, you got the halo on. You know what? The man of the people. Um so look, everything's kind of playing in the form right now. I I still think, you know, if or when Orlando loses, they're gonna make a change. And I still believe it. The Sixers lose this in five. And let's just say these games are not competitive. I just don't know how you don't make a move and fire Nick Nurse. The longer this series goes on, the more equity he's building up, and there's gonna be belief within the organization. Okay, you know what? Look what they did without him beat. They stretched it to six. Uh, we're running it back with these guys. And I think sometimes that's not what you need to do. I mean, hell, the Knicks make the Eastern Conference Finals, and you remember what I said when they choked against Indiana and I got hammered from Knicks fans. I said, if they lose this series, it's a fireball fence, and that's exactly what they did.
SPEAKER_05Yeah. But do we trust the Sixers' management to make the right decisions? No. So I to me, I don't know what they're going to do. Would it shock me if Nurse came back? No. Because there's already a built-in excuse. No one beat, oh, look what you did in game two in Boston. That wasn't easy. And let's say they lose the next three games, but they're competitive. Then what? Yeah you know, so it's to me, it's up in the ear. I just I don't know until they prove me otherwise, until they prove me wrong, I don't trust this franchise to make the right competent basketball choices. I just don't.
SPEAKER_02You were in Boston covering the Celtics. Obviously, you're also covering you were covering the Pats too, correct? Yep. All right. I'm not trying to take it down here. I know, I know where this is heading. Well, I mean, listen, I lit we uh you know, I just this is what we do. We we we talk about this stuff, contrary to what some believe that no one's talking about it. I think it's a debacle. I do. Uh I it is it am I too off to sit here and say right now, on the eve of the NFL draft, on the eve of these photos, someone holding on to these photos for six years and the New York Post publishing them, um, Rabel and Roussini in these compromising positions at a New York bar. Uh, is it out of bounds for me to say the Patriots have no choice but to fire him? And I can back it. This is interesting. I know exactly where you're gonna go with this, but go ahead. You're I know you're tying in the Celtics, but go ahead. Go ahead.
SPEAKER_05Well, yeah, because what happened with uh M.U. Doka, right? Yep. Um the difference with that is it was within the organization. Correct. Um that's a that's definitely a line that you don't cross.
SPEAKER_02No, no, no, but but but but with that being said, okay, with that being said, um you know, apples to apples, okay, fine, but you're doing it with I mean, look, the bot look, it it's they had an affair. It's a problem, it's a problem. Yeah, they've had have been having an you're talking six years, so forget about the pillow talk now. Yeah, it goes deeper than that. Like, what kind of information is being conveyed back and forth?
SPEAKER_05That's the problem. And that's that's the problem. We see it on the journalistic integrity side where the the issue is just obviously clear, right? But on the on the flip side, as a as a head coach of an NFL team, you're you're you're gallivanting around with uh a national reporter, and these these messages, these rumors, these things are being reported on behalf of you and the organization, um the lines have been crossed, right? And so that's where the issue is as a player in that locker room, how do you feel about that, right? Like what are you know what what is being said behind the scenes between you and this reporter? That can can we trust you once we're out of this locker room to to to handle yourself with decorum, right? And it it's proven to be not true. You can't trust him, obviously, right? And so if he was a losing head coach, the decision would be easy. And this is the conversation, cue, right? Winning winning cure is all. They just this made the Super Bowl Q. You're not firing a coach who just made the Super Bowl, unless you did something flagrant, like really flagrant.
SPEAKER_02Well, what is this? What what is this? He he sat up there, hold on. We've seen teams keep abusers. We see him in the hall of fame. I get it, I totally get it. We see murders in the hall of fame.
SPEAKER_05I mean, let's call for what I've seen it, right? Like it's steroids and all that.
SPEAKER_02So, yeah, you know, someone ran through airports and hurts and rent a car for years, but right? That's the extreme, you know what I'm saying? Right, we drink it in the morning to perk up a little bit of little juice. Um, but listen, he sat up there several weeks ago and called the photos laughable, spitting basically in the media. Oh, by the way, WEI have fired two sports talk show hosts. I know you listen to EI when you were up there. Fire these two guys because you're kind of caught in the middle. How do you not talk about something like this? I mean, come on, man. Now all of a sudden, you're gonna get counseling in a day, you're gonna avoid the draft. It's just the PR, it's a yeah, nightmare. And I just don't believe that you go forward with this man because he cannot be trusted. You've lost my trust. I don't care if you took this team to the Super Bowl, all that body of work, coach of the year, getting to the Super Bowl, all the equity you build up. No, man. No, I and you go back and you look at her tweets, you know, how you know the Titans are looking to not go after Tom Brady, they're gonna resign Tannehill. Well, where'd you get that information from the head coach who you were allegedly sleeping with?
SPEAKER_05Right. It's it's it's it's so many, it's it's it's so layered and it's so foul and and flagrant that if Vrabel was, like I said, if Ronnie, if if Rabel wasn't a winning coach, then I think the decision will be easy. I will say he better be careful this season. He better be very careful because if this season goes off the rails, you know what I mean? And if these guys, if these guys check out, you know what's gonna happen.
SPEAKER_02I am taking it a step further. He should not be the head coach of the New England Patriots. And I mentioned this before you came on, and Pats fans are crushing me, and I don't freaking care because ultimately, what else did you lie about? You know, you you you can't trust somebody like that. God knows what the hell this man is doing behind closed doors, which oh, by the way, as a two consenting adults is your business, but right, but look where this guy is parking his freaking car. Come on, man, make sense of it.
SPEAKER_05You can't it's it's reckless behavior. And as a coach, if you're telling me how to act when I'm off the when I'm off the field, I can't go thing up. Who are you to check? And that's who are you to check me when I see you out here, just brazenly just with you're married with with with with kids, right? Like, so you just with nothing to lose, act like you have nothing to do.
SPEAKER_02I'm a rookie and you're gonna friggin' fine me because I miss curfew. You I'm gonna be like, yeah, come on, come on.
SPEAKER_05You checking me? Not happening, coach. Come on, what are we talking about? And so the player will always have that to hang over his head, and that's why I'm saying, like, if this season goes off the rails, I don't even give it a season.
SPEAKER_02They're gonna come out with an announcement that he is stepping aside and definitely to go work on himself and his being and his marriage and counseling. You know, some of these guys chiming in, you don't know what it's like because you're not friggin' married. Hey, you stay. I I've been to a couple weddings, I get how it kind of works, right? I kind of get how it works. You know, two, you know, the the guy sitting up there, then all of a sudden the gorgeous brushing blide, and then the emotion, and you stand and you face each other, and here we go, you know, boom, boom, boom, and you sit there and you say, I friggin' do. That is marriage. I get it. I totally get it. So don't tell me because I'm not married, I don't know what it's like. I've been in relationships before, okay? But again, you shouldn't go off and cheat. If that's the case, don't even get involved. This man has a problem. And by the way, she doesn't get a free pass because of the way she acquired it. And she's never getting a job in me again. Now, she'll do a few exactly if Arsenal takes her on.
SPEAKER_05It'll be a messy type, it'll be a messy type of situation.
SPEAKER_02You know they love the patch, sure. You know that. But again, someone will probably want to take her on just because of the eyeballs and just peel all back. And there's somewhere along the line, there's gonna be an NDA involved. I guarantee you. The fact that the NFL hasn't stepped in is remarkable. I'm telling you, uh Roger Goodell, like, they're gonna boo him tonight, but it's almost gonna be like magnified if you think about it. And then you have all the networks that didn't even want to touch it. You had former players that didn't want to touch it. It's like, are you that blind? Are you that naive that you don't see what the hell's going on? The forest between the trees right here? This is a horrible look, man. You had an accredited member of the NFL, NFL Media, the New York Times, the Athletic, and this is how this person's acquiring information. And because the coach is being, you know, oogled and agat, and here we go on his friggin' back, side, belly to belly to whatever the hell they were, transpiring in these rental rooms, hotel rooms. You know, I'm I'm giving you all this information. It's ridiculous. Side gate, deflate gate, and and now we got received gate and massage gate.
SPEAKER_05You know, it's um it's a story that keeps giving because there's more photos that have been released, like more revealing photos, and it's like a at a certain point, like it looks bad. Like it's looking really bad. The fact that you guys tried to lie and say this was a friend group gathering. We clearly see we see you in no shape or form are friends engaging in that type of behavior. You two are lovers, you two are lovers.
SPEAKER_02You were single once, right? You know how the woman grabs the hand when you're out and about.
SPEAKER_05If she's a good thing, never grab the never a friend is not grabbing my hand like that. No, no, no, that's what I'm saying. No, no, no, no, no, no. It's it's in the hypocrisy of it all when it comes to the coverage. Somebody made a good point on on social media on Twitter today, um, or X, however you want to call it. Remember the Vikings GM who um got fired, and there was a story about how he left paternity leave. He left on paternity, how that was like a big like now you have a head, now you have a head coach who actually cheated on his wife, and they're talking about it like it's not a big deal.
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_05Like, so what do we but this was the priorities, Q. He just made the Super Bowl, the goalposts are moved. That's just the reality of it all. If he was a losing coach, he would be out of there by now. I guarantee you. It wouldn't be a question. I promise you that. He'd be out of there. But because he just made you can't you can't get rid of Rabel.
SPEAKER_02I I think they fire him before he steps down. I I just don't see him being the head coach come September. I don't that's just my opinion. I can be slammed for it. I'm fine with it. I'm already getting hammered with it, I'm okay with it. NFL draft NBA playoffs. Um all right, brother. I always appreciate it. So you'll be locked into the draft and the playoffs. You're on split screen, you're going, do they still do pitch-to-picture?
SPEAKER_05I'll I'll try, I'll try to bounce back and forth. I don't care about these other peasant NFL franchises. All I care about is that team in Philly. That's all that matters, right? Like, let's be honest here. You guys can pick who you want to pick. It's not gonna work, though.
SPEAKER_01All right, okay.
SPEAKER_05It's not gonna work.
SPEAKER_01Unbelievable.
SPEAKER_05How we I trust in a how we I trust.
SPEAKER_01How we trust. All right, I always appreciate that. Appreciate a couple moments. All right, I'll talk to you later tonight.
SPEAKER_04Thank you.
SPEAKER_02All right, there you have it, my guy, Jonathan Marshall. Great stuff. Uh, what do we got here? Uh, Ghost says, uh, did we forget Craft got caught? I see. I gotta edit this. Well, I mean, I already put it up there. Ray will probably get a raise. Uh Diana definitely left it apart me before.
SPEAKER_01Come on.
SPEAKER_02What are we doing? Babe in the woods. Rumor has it. Oh, the bunker boys hold hand at moments of the NFL season. I don't know if they do the big bear teddy hug. Robert Crabwalk now, Atlantic Avenue and A seen their showboat. True story. No, stop it. Now you're just speculating. Are you making things up, man? Are you? A lot of uh rentals by the night. Those apartments. I got oh, I gotta get to all these comments. Uh what do we got here? What do we got here? Uh I think I stared off some of the Eagles fans because we were talking New England. Uh DB says man can't be trusted. He's a liar as well, nothing but trouble. Ball316 checking in. Told you the Phillies were b uh we talked about it. We talked about it. What? A month before the season? Right? I think the Eagles are redshirting 26 for a QB next year. I got a whole theory. Ooh. I want to hear that theory. That's interesting. Freddy Cougar vibes. Uh, what is this? This old house? Huh? Ask him what happened when the Eagles played Denver. Ah, Michael, listen, Bronco Ball, you can always ride. I get it. I can't really say much because obviously Denver made their way through the NFC East. It's gonna be fun tonight, the NFL draft. I just think it's crazy. With everything going down, I gotta get I I have to read you off. So this is Pat 6 on X Chimes and Q. Shut the freak up. You have no idea what the hell you're talking about. You know the Pats are never gonna make that move. Your guest just said it. They just went to a friggin' Super Bowl. You'd be crazy to think you're gonna fire a head coach because he was canoodling with another. Come on, guys. You know it and I know it. Think about this, too. Think about the Patriots, what they're doing spin-wise. Because if, if, did you hear this one? This is great. If they're gonna make a pick, he's gonna be available to talk. If they don't make a pick, not available to talk. You can't make this up. You can't make this up. And yeah, you know, the Patriots are gonna come out and they're gonna sit there and say, confident in X, Y, and Z and support the decision. The fact that this man came out and said, I had to have uncomfortable conversations tells you all you need to know. If you missed it, I said it yesterday. You're not having an uncomfortable conversation with your wife if you left the toilet seat up. You're not. I just again, I don't need to be married to know that. That's not an uncomfortable, courageous conversation. If you piddled a little bit, if you dropped a little bit here and there, and the seat was up. Is she gonna get pissed off? Yeah, of course she is. You're gonna sleep on the sofa at night? I don't know, depending upon your marriage. But that's not a courageous conversation, a difficult conversation. A difficult conversation is, yes, I had an affair. Now, how do you react to that? And if you're the Patriots as in an organization, okay, that just went to the Super Bowl, mind you, I'm not talking about him as a head coach. I'm talking about him a leader of men and being transparent. Okay? And I think it's gonna be remarkable when ESPN refuses to show the camera on him if he's in the draft room tonight. Because they're gutless, or whatever, or NFL n whatever. You gotta just take it a step back. And sometimes you also gotta dig a little deep. Some franchises don't want this hit. They don't want this PR skin. Can the guy uh um PR hit? Can the guy coach? Yeah, he can coach. He can coach. No one's saying he can. But how do you treat? Trust someone going forward in light of this six years. This is not six days ago, six months ago. It's not. And you know, you guys can sit there and somebody's coming out and they don't like the fact that they had to cover the story, one of their contemporaries. Come on, man, you gotta call it the way it is. You guys are probably feasting knowing that it's Rable, and obviously there's a man involved and a head coach. They're both, they are both wrong. And the Odoko scandal, like Jonathan said, this guy was suspended for an entire season because he had that relationship with a team staff member. Apples, oranges. But to some extent, apples and apples. It's a bad look all around. It is. Alright, you got the NFL draft tonight. Vegas gets the top pick. Everyone knows and believes they're gonna draft Fernando Mendoza, but then your guess is as good as mine. Two, three, four, five. I'm actually starting to believe the Giants pull a rabbit out of the hat here. And I'm really starting to think if the running back, if Love is on the board, the Giants are gonna draft him. Now, I believe he's gone at number four with Tennessee. I really do. The Jets sit there with the number two pick. You got Arizona at number three. A lot of people believe they will go defense. Remember the Giants trade at Dexter Lawrence in Cincinnati. The Giants now have the 10th overall pick, so they have two. Atlanta made the trade with the Rams. Indianapolis also made that trade with the Jets. Sauce Gardner, so they got 16. If you are keeping track, the Philadelphia Eagles draft uh number 23. And that's not a bad spot because you can probably go tackle. You can probably go offensive line. I'm seeing a lot of names to Kid Procter out of Alabama, the offensive tackle. So uh we will get into the draft on the other side. Lloyd Vance will join us in a few. Want to get to more of your comments as well. Keep it locked in a uh thought out Thursday. Thank you, man, man, for that thought out Thursday edition of On Q, powered by our good friends over at Fresh Roasted Coffee. You know, I want to get back too. I think what did you guys say about this old house? Let me go back. I miss a couple of these comments. What do we got here? Uh new show. Q finishes Jonathan's basement. Q does have that this old house vibe. I really don't know about that. Is it because of this? Who's that? Bob Vila? Remember Bob Vila? Right? What was the other show? Two time? Right? Is Bob Vila still alive or did he pass away? Is he still alive? He's what, 79? 80? 81? This old house, man, right? Also, Bob Vila's home again, I think. I think that was a show, too. I don't know. I'm sure you guys are correct. Alright, and if I'd draft talk on the other side quick. In a moment or two. Let me get to more of these comments. Let me just see what time Lloyd's coming on. He should be jumping on any minute, which is good. Let me get to a couple more of these comments. Uh we mentioned uh oh, okay. Bobby uh Vila Alive and Raw. Alright. Jeff Logman. Oh man. DV, you are pulling one out of the woodwork right there. Wow. Yeah, the Jets, uh, let's just say the Jets have known to botch, right? Passing up, you know, drafting Kyle Brady, passing up on um Warren Sapp, the Kenny O'Brien. I mean, everyone remembers that. That's I mean, you can't the Jets have had a horrible draft history. They really have. But you know what? A lot of teams have. But there were some, there are some uh hits. Right? There's always hits. Now, if you go back, obviously, back in the 80s, everyone's talking about the great quarterbacks that were coming out. You know, the game has changed. Obviously, we're never gonna see anything like that again. We're not. You know, Santana Moss, productive guy, right? Sean Ellis, eh, productive guy. You know, Randy Thomas, never really worked out, right? Just didn't. They've had a lot of misses. You know, James Farrier, not a bad player, played in over uh 200 games, not a bad player, right? They had Dietrich Ward as well, played over 100 games, but you know, Kyle Brady, no. Aaron Glenn, not a bad player. Marvin John, I mean, you can keep going back. Johnny Mitchell, remember that? But if you really go back, go back, it was all about the quarterback and where the Jets have missed. That's been the problem. The Jets have always missed when it comes to the quarterback. But as you guys know as much as I do, most teams do. Most teams miss when it comes to the quarterback. It is a crap shoot. It's not an exact science. And this is why you got to get skittish when you're talking about having a top overall pick. You got to get skittish when you're talking about top 10. You know, because if you're drafting a quarterback, you damn well better get it right. You have to. 435 on a Thursday edition of On Q, my guy Lloyd Vance, host of Lloyd Vance's Insider Football. As I mentioned with Jonathan Marshall, we never have to worry about Lloyd and any compromising position or photos with the NFL draft among us. Host of Lloyd Vance's football every uh Monday, 7 to 8 on SR 1029 FM the Game. Of course, uh NFL insider historian at Lloyd Vance. Give him a follow on social media. What's going on, my friend? How are you? Happy pre-draft night, uh, I guess uh pre-draft night, whatever.
SPEAKER_00I'm excited, Q. You know, it's that time of the year, and and you know, you and I always talk before the draft, and and you're right. There's uh some hits, but there's some misses, and and I always just love the soap opera around the day because you're gonna see some trades, you're gonna see some reaches, and you'll we got to wait two to three years for complete results, but you know, it it's just fun watching the drama.
SPEAKER_02Yeah. I I'm just gonna ask you one question on the other outside stuff. With everything going on, and now these new photos six years ago, Mike Grable, you know, gonna be in the war room, but not gonna be there answering questions if they make a trade. I'm sorry, if they have a draft pick, getting the counseling. We know about the Patriots and everything that's transpired over the years, especially with Robert Kraft and the massage powers and all that stuff, the spy gate, the deflate gate, the massage gate. Now you got this. I said to start the show, I believe the Patriots will really consider firing him. Or he steps down. I think it's just too big of a PR hit. Now, Jonathan Marshall brought up a good point, so did the Texas, that if you think about it, here we go. You know, they did take this team, he did lead this team to the Super Bowl. But with all that being said, my counter is I have no idea what this man has shared, okay? Number one, with her, and I have no idea if this man has had other relationships and what other information he is divulging. Who knows? He could have he could have had affairs with other NFL insiders or reporters. I mean, the bottom line is they had an affair, and you'd be stupid not to believe it, number one. And number two is the counseling is basically the PR spin to get him away from the firestorm. Do you envision any scenario where the Patriots say enough is enough, we can't go far with this man. Thanks for the time, the contributions, or he takes an indefinite leave of absence.
SPEAKER_00Maybe they suspend him for a game or two or something, or some OTA activities he can't be part of, or something like that. But they're gonna close ranks around Mike Vrabel, and that's what this organization does in terms of sweeping things under the rug. And the National Football League, they're kind of helping spin the narrative with some of their you know tentacles in the media, making sure the big story doesn't get out there. But I I I think in the end, unfortunately, Rossini's probably gonna take the brunt of this, you know, in terms of her credibility. And we know it's a results-driven business with these head coaches. We've seen all of them do all kinds of things, and and they've stayed with their organization, and he has a very good relationship with Robert Kraft, and and I think in the end, Kraft will talk to him and they'll they'll just hope eventually something else will come along.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, I mean, if I'm sure, you know what? I I mean, I'm I'm not even gonna make a joke. I'm not I mean, I could. I mean, it's not like me to well, you know what, you teed it up. I mean, Robert Kraft's not gonna sit there and say, hey, come on, man, you need to relax and unwind a little bit. Let's uh Yeah, man.
SPEAKER_00It's you know, it's it's unfortunate, it's crazy. And I know what they're doing. They're saying, all right, the draft's coming, everybody's gonna be talking about uh, you know, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, the next three days, and and the players coming in, but it's not going away. And like anything else, you know, Ben Rosberger a couple years ago, you know. Remember that whole debacle in the offseason and Rashid Rice and his drag racing, and it's just something that's a distraction that could go into training camp and into the season. That's what the team does not want now. He has addressed his team, talked to them, and I don't know how much information he divulged to them, but obviously he was like, Look, I I'm holding you accountable, but you know, forget about what I've done here. I mean, so it's it's just an ugly situation, Q. And yeah, that it doesn't surprise me there's more pictures and stuff because they he wasn't careful about his business, you know. Uh and now it's out there for public consumption.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, DB says uh with the Jets making the move uh the last time they actually made a hit, drafted Johnny Riggins. That's right. People forget that. Jets drafted John Riggins first round, six overall and 71. People forget that they drafted Johnny Riggins. Last time the Mets lost 12 straight, the Jets won the East. All right. There's um I don't know if that's uh I'd have to double check. Um, mammon. All right, so look, we know one thing. We know Mendoza's going number one. I mean, I feel as though just bookmark it, put it in there. Fernando Mendoza, Heisman Trophy winner. Here we go. The Raiders have their guy. Now what? You got the Jets at number two. Do you believe the Jets go defense?
SPEAKER_00Yes, I do, Q. They they're they're trying to fix that thing in terms of you know, Aaron Glenn's defense and Darren Muji, the GM, knows that they got to get some more players on defense. They traded a lot of guys away. Uh Sauce Gardner going to the Indianapolis Colts. And um other than Will McDonald, the fourth, they need somebody to help them. You know, he McDonald had eight sacks last year. So I really think they're gonna go edge. Uh it's gonna be interesting. Is it Arvell Reese out of Ohio State, who's that undersize? You know, he's 6'4, 238, and he's more of an edge guy. Uh, or it's gonna be David Bailey, uh two, 6'3, 250. He had 14 and a half sacks last year for Texas Tech. So I think it'll be one of those two guys going to the Jets.
SPEAKER_02Uh all right. Well, that's pretty interesting. Um, I definitely think they have to go uh defense. Uh you got Arizona at number three. Now, you got the Jacoby Brissett issues. They're not going to take a region Ty Simpson. That's not happening. Um, I think they go linebacker edge Ohio State. I think they go with the kid Reese at number three.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, and Q, it may be whichever guy falls them, whether it's Bailey or Reese. Uh, we know they have Sweat there who came over from the Eagles, did a very nice job. All along, I thought Myaga, the uh offense attack from Miami, may be their guy for the Cardinals because we know their offensive line's been terrible. But he has some back issues that are coming out and teams kind of shying away from them. Uh so watch for maybe uh Spencer Fano coming out of Utah for this spot. Big Hulk and tackle. But uh yeah, uh Cardinals, maybe they trade down. You know, they need a lot, Q, you know, uh, with LaFleur coming in there as a new head coach, so maybe they OS and forth the GM trades back. But yeah, they're gonna be interesting to see what they do.
SPEAKER_02Uh Nico chimes in. Q. Loving the show. Always appreciate your honest opinion and takes. I know the Grable obviously deserves a lot of heat coming his way. I'm confused on the talk from you losing this job. This isn't the Odoka situation with a relationship inside the PATS organization. Appreciate the kind words, appreciate you tuning in. And um, like I said, look, if the NFL is not gonna investigate, I think you got a little stronger leg to stand on in that regard, but I stick to what I say, you know, and I don't say it just to say it. If I say it, I believe it. And, you know, Diana Rossini, her career, her reporting career, she ain't coming back from this. If she wants to go do a pod, whatever, she can do tell all, whatever, that's fine. The 30 for 30 is gonna be remarkable. My whole point is this, and I'm not making light of it. My point is this when I give you millions of dollars to be the leader of men and coach a franchise and be a head coach, I can give you a little bit of a pass in wiggle room, right? I can excuse certain behavior, but the fact that this man lied. So if you lied about this, and now you're only coming for you're you're being forthright because there's pressure on you, what else have you lied about that maybe can show a little weakness, right, in the organization or give the competitor the edge in the AFCs? I know it sounds crazy, and I know people are like, you're absolutely ridiculous with some of your takes today. That's fine. But I've seen this play out before. You've seen it in corporate, we've seen in all walks of life. Like, they're gonna back him because that's the play right now. That's the PR spin. You have to back him because he's getting quote counseling, which someone probably told him, go away for a little bit. Take care of your family, your wife, see if you can keep that marriage intact and your family. And no one, no one brings kids into this because that's low brow, and I would never do that. And if someone does, that's horrible. You don't do that. But the point is, you're talking about two families, they're about to implode, and you're also talking about a head coach that was most likely brought into a room and said, was X, Y, and Z going on. And when he was asked those questions, he said no. And now he's caught with his hand in the cookie jar. So if you lied, what what else did you lie about? Is my whole point. I can't trust you. That's what I'm saying. You've lost all trust. I don't care about the body of work buildup with the Super Bowl, coach of the year. I look at you now, you're dead to me. I can't trust you. And your point with Robert Kraft, you know, throwing stones here in a glass house is I get it. Maybe that's the only reason he gets the pass, the hypocrisy, right? The irony. But, you know, to Nico's point, it's just how I feel. That's all.
SPEAKER_00I just want to um No, and and you're entitled to your opinion. And and we know just how the game is played around the National Football League and these and everything and these pro sports. It's all about how the owner feels about him. He's his boss. You know, if he's able to take the heat and say, okay, you know, we're gonna keep you around and you know, you're worth it, then they'll move forward. But as you were saying, we've seen cases where a story like this doesn't go away. Think about Sterling in the NBA with the Clippers. You know, a lot it came out and what he was doing, and and at first it was like, oh, okay, he'll be around, and then next thing you know, uh it just became a huge story, and he had to sell the team.
SPEAKER_02The Vikings GM that was fired. Right?
SPEAKER_00Right.
SPEAKER_02Right, because he wanted to, you know, now again, probably, you know, you didn't help your cause when you're not going to be all in as a GM, right? But, you know, um listen, I just feel as though more of this is going to come out. That's all. More and as it does, we'll talk about it. But as I mentioned, I want to get back uh to the draft. So you got Tennessee at four. Now, I said this. If for some reason they don't draft love, do you think the Giants grab him at number five? Or do you believe Tennessee is gonna grab him at number four because they're looking at their running back room and it's getting older?
SPEAKER_00Yeah, their defense needs players, though. Other than Simmons, they don't have a lot. So they're gonna take a strong look. And you know, they have Robert Salah there, uh defensive-minded guy, and he's gonna try to decide, okay, do I build up my defense or do we go get that um missing piece in terms of a running back? Because Pollard's just not the guy. So yeah, Jeremiah Love, he is definitely going to be in position uh for the Titans to take him, and they're gonna have to decide, okay, is it him? Is it one of those ends that I talked about falling to him? Maybe Caleb Downs, the safety from Ohio State, he's out there. So uh I'm looking at four or five uh range for him as well. And then Carnell Tate, don't forget about him, the receiver. You know, the Titans, Titans really, yeah, I I know they have uh Wandell Robinson coming over and they're expecting some good things from him, but Carnell Tate will look good, sliding in there and be a security blanket for a ward.
SPEAKER_02Interesting because if love goes four, I think the Giants go defense linebacker, but there's also a part of me that thought, okay, maybe you go Tate. If you don't, Cleveland's not going to grab him. I can see Washington grab him. But I think I can see Dallas trading back and getting a top 10. I can see that. So with the Giants right now, if Love's off the board at four, do they go offense or they did go with a linebacker, the kid Styles? That's the name that I'm hearing.
SPEAKER_00Oh, Styles could be a nice pick for them. He put him right in that defense, and he's a difference maker, but uh everybody was kind of thinking, okay, he's around pick 10 to 12 or so. But um, yeah, it and the with that injury that I was talking to my Aga, the tackle from Miami, you know, if he doesn't go in the first five picks, then that's going to kind of juggle some things. And that was I was talking about the drama earlier. Like, will there be a run on receivers? You know, there's so many good receivers in this draft, and and uh teams are always looking for that next playmaker in terms of receivers out there. You have Jordan Tyson from Arizona State. He's in play. We talked about Carnell Tate. Um uh you also have Concepcion from Texas AM, Makai Lemon, USC, Denzel Boston from Washington. So there's a lot of receivers, and I'm wondering when when that run's gonna start. But definitely look for a lot of Ohio State guys going in that first 20 picks or so.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, I I do think there's gonna be some madness tonight, uh, the first round. You know, I think there's gonna be a lot of movement. I mean, the Giants sit there number 10, too. You got New Orleans in number eight and nine, the Giants 10 because of the trade with Cincinnati for Dexter Lawrence. Washington to me, if Tate's there, I think they're gonna go, they're gonna go for another weapon for uh Jaden Daniels if he's on the board at seven.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, they're definitely gonna go. If Tater Lovers there, they're gonna run to the front in terms of making pick, making that pick, because they do need some more offensive threats, other than McLaren. And you hit on a big point, Q. You know, some of these teams have multiple picks. Yeah, so they may trade, they may move around. Yeah, Dallas has two picks. The Browns have two picks in the first round. The Jets have two, the Kansas City, Miami, and the Giants, as you talked about earlier. So I expect some of these GMs, you know, they're not the old crusty guys like Wolf and Poleon from back in the day, you know. These are younger GMs, and a lot of them have been on staffs together. They all talk to each other. Maybe one of them calls, you know, like Barry calls Howie Roseman. You know, what are you thinking here in this situation? So it it that's gonna be the fun part. And they shorten it down from 10 minutes to eight minutes in terms of the picks.
SPEAKER_02Right. Um, I'm gonna actually miss an hour of the draft. Now, I'll let you guys know when it drops, but um, what I'm doing. But yeah, I mean, I'll obviously have you know my phone handy for what's going down, and I'm sure that I'll get my troll messages that the Giants took whatever, an obscure tackle with the fifth pick. Um, what else is friggin' new? Um, so uh New Orleans. I still don't love their quarterback situation. If they're gonna stick with what they have, again, I I would I would imagine you go offense if you're the Saints.
SPEAKER_00Yes, that offensive line has been a work in progress, but I think one of those receivers that I talk about may go to the Saints. You know, uh if Tate falls, maybe they grab him, or maybe Jordan Tyson, uh, or mckay Lemming. So it's it's one of those picks there. It they It's crazy it sounds. You know, I I know they signed ATN. I'm hearing that they may look to if love is there, they may jump on him. So uh the Saints need a lot, though. They're another team. You know, that they had a pretty good season last year, 6-11. Tyler Shook, as you said, had a little rebirth at the end of the season, but they need a lot offensively. And if one of those big offensive tackles falls to them, they may have to jump on him because that line's been kind of leaky lately.
SPEAKER_02Uh let's jump to um uh the Eagles for a moment. Eagles sit at 23 right now as it stands. Um, you know, I think at 23, good position to be in, right? That that that line is aging. We know that. I I think they go offensive tackle.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, it's gonna be interesting, Q, because uh Ioni out of Penn State, he's the number one guard out there. You know, with with with Dickerson kind of beat up last year, talking about retirement at 28. Maybe they go for him if he falls to him. Uh Max Eichen anchor uh out of Arizona State. He's another tackle that everybody's talking about for them. 6'6, 330, uh very versatile, has good footwork. And you're right, tackle is definitely gonna be an area of need because let's face it, Lane Johnson, 35 years old, coming off a Liz Frank injury. Um maybe they grab another receiver, too. You know, you got to watch that because they seem to like all right, AJ Brown's gonna be traded probably in June. Uh but they they're they're looking at that position as well. And everybody's drawing over Kenyon Sadiq, the versatile tight end out of Oregon as well. Where's he going to go? Because Dallas Goddard is on the last year of his contract with the Eagles.
SPEAKER_02Uh, you know, what you're when you typically do your mocks, I mean, do you see a lot of movement? Do you see a lot of teams trying to trade back, trade down, I should say, tonight in the first, you know, to just grab a little more or and teams willing to um stockpile some more drafts. Like the Giants sit there with two draft picks. Kevin uh uh C chimes in Giants fan. You know, he he believes the Giants might trade out of the first round and acquire. I I don't think you can. Like, to me, with all due respect, I think that would be foolish because they can get good fast, right? If they hit on these picks.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, and that that's are they in win-now mode or are they planning for the future? And I think you know, the Giants, when they look at that division, they can get into the mix because their defense, they still have pieces like Burns and the rest of the group over there, and they already have their quarterback, so they're not reaching there. So, yeah, I could see them stand in pat and just taking the best player that kind of falls to them. But uh, as I was saying, with these younger GMs, some of them may move it, wheel and deal, but there's position heavy, you know, the outside rushers is very heavy in this draft. Uh, the tackles, as I was saying, into receivers. So we'll have to see who reaches for Ty Simpson. You know, who's going to reach for a player like that, you know, where he goes, oh man, he he went around pick 15 or so when we thought he was like in the 20s or not even in the first round. So I do expect some movement, but this will probably be some chalk as well, Q, because let's face it, the talent level in this draft is solid, but it's not as good as a couple years ago.
SPEAKER_02You have a sleeper, too, that you think might go late in the first round, or maybe a surprise that a um, you know, someone's stock uh fell and someone's stock rose.
SPEAKER_00Ooh, interesting. Uh Proctor from Alabama, he's a big Hulk and tackle. A lot of people were saying, okay, maybe in the 20s he'll go, but he he's had very good athleticism and you could put him on the edge, probably a right tackle right away. I think he's going to move up. Um, you know, maybe uh Devin Moore, a cornerback from Florida, very smooth corner. People are looking at him as well. Uh another corner, Arizona uh cornerback, Traydon Stukes. He he has good measurables and speed and everything. So a lot of teams are talking about him moving along in the process. And another receiver, Omar Cooper from Indiana. You know, a lot of people forgot how well he played on that run to the national championship. It's 22, but he had uh 13 touchdowns last season.
SPEAKER_02All right. I know you're gonna be all over it tomorrow. We have a lot of time to recap it. Looking forward to that. And then, of course, uh your Monday show as well. All right, you'll uh be locked into that. We'll see if they get a little sneak peek of Mike Rebels in the war room, if they have the balls to put the camera on him. We always have the stones to put the camera on Mr. Lloyd Vance host. Lloyd Vance is insider football. I got I'm getting hammered today. I can't imagine, you know, it's a shame. I don't need I franchise old, old franchise. Once in a while, I get a tweet from a franchise. I don't know if it's the same franchise from Delaware, who was just the most diehard um Ravens fan, and he couldn't stand the Patriots. I'd love to get his thoughts. And then also, old Joe in Wilmington was a diehard Pat fan. I'll never forget he called in right before the Giants and the and and the and the New England were gonna play that weekend in the Super Bowl. And he's like, I gotta go, cops behind me. And I never heard back from him.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, it's crazy. And we'll see how this thing plays out. But I think in the end, the Patriots are gonna just keep your mouth shut, you know, let your lawyer do your talking. That's where they are right now. So, you know, and we'll have some draft picks to talk about, but no greats.
SPEAKER_02Absolutely. All right, brother. I always appreciate you, man. Enjoy the draft tonight.
SPEAKER_00All right, Q.
SPEAKER_02All right, there you have it, my guy, Lloyd Vance. Excellent stuff. All right, a lot of comments coming in. I want to get to somebody's comments. Eddie Chimes and Q, imagine how much insider info she was giving Rabel, how much he was using it. He had to do all his dirty work and use sources to get info about teams. Glad you're actually having the balls to talk about. This is crazy. They both effed over the league and their families. I'm telling you, you got a guy that thought he can shut down a scandal by dismissing it and saying it's laughable. All you do is make it worse. Like, you think by just trying to be intimidating or like a bully and dismiss it and say it's laughable, it's going by the wayside. It doesn't work like that. The media's smart, they're not stupid. And sometimes they're like a dog on a friggin' bone. So you make it worse. You make it worse. Like horrible PR spin. Now, I'm not gonna sit there and say it's gonna incentivize others to come forward who've dealt with this kind of stuff or got themselves in these kind of situations, but come on, man. Denial, denial, denial. That's a horrible route to go. It was a horrible route to go. Period. It was an absolute horrible route, and you just stand up there, and it's just it's a bad look. It is a really bad look, and he's gonna know better. He has to know better that once you get in bed in this regard, no pun intended, you're open up a can of worms, man. And you know, not even trying to be funny with it. Like, if you're gonna have an affair, try not to get caught. The problem is you're always gonna get caught because they never last, they get exposed. Spouses are not stupid, spouses are smart, they are. Wives are smart, they know, they can sense it, they know exactly what the hell is going on, and husbands aren't too far off. They get it too. They get it. The behavior, the shutting down, the clothes off, always on the road to traveling, you know, not picking up the phone. Come on, man. They're wise to it, they're wise to it. So you want to talk about crisis management. The only reason he's he's stepping aside is that, and it's too late. I I believe when you have a situation like this, okay, when you have a situation where you have a reporter getting all this information from a head coach, her her credibility and reputation, it's shot for the rest of her life. She is going to be a walking joke. Now, you want to feel bad, you want to sit there and say that's too harsh. Hey, man, that's the lot in life. You made your bed, no pun intended, now you got to lie in it. Can never take them serious. You just can't. And I can tell you, just my experience covering leagues, covering the NFL, talking to GMs over the years, talking to coaches, talking to players. The one thing you want in an organization is full transparency. That's the one thing you want. From top to bottom. Like, just let me know where I stand. And I talked to a couple agents earlier today and I asked them what they think. And they said, honestly, we don't have no clue what's going to happen. One of them literally told me, whose representing coaches all over in leagues for 20-something years. He goes, he might take in a step in a leave of absence. And that's another way of saying, I'm done coaching for a while until the smoke and dust settles. And it could happen. And to you know, some of the points that you guys have brought up with the Boston situation, I get it, apples and oranges. But the Viking situation, the Viking story with their GM now, you almost kind of bring in like, okay, well, hold on a second. You're firing because of the maternity leave. You wanted to spend time at home, and now you got a guy that here we go, you know. I mean, this is this is a and and the other flip side of this is how do you think Mike Rabel's wife feels or Roussini's husband? They probably feel foolish. They probably feel absolutely foolish that this has been going on not for six days, not for six weeks, not for six months, but for six years. Allegedly six years? It's just overall, you gotta be real careful who you kind of you know bring into the circle of trust. And this man can't be trusted. So they can come out with their statement, they can support him, prioritize family, work on your well-being, and that's great. That's what he needs to do. Work on his family, you know, the infidelities, come clean, get counseling, make that commitment, but that doesn't necessarily mean you're still fit to be our head coach. That is my point. That is my point. They already came out and said he's not gonna be at the facility on Saturday. So Elliot Wolf, who basically was taking some of the bullets, is gonna be there. Nikki B chimes in Q. I can't believe those hosts were fired. That's Bush League. They were fired because they had an opinion. That's all. You have a station that airs Patriot games that's in bed with the Patriots. Now I told you, I don't know what their ratings were. I don't. I have no idea. You know, EEI part of Odyssey, it's an Odyssey owned family. I know Odyssey's been making cuts. They make uh a lot of changes. Radio's going a different direction. I don't know what their ratings were. I have no idea. But you also gotta wonder the timing of it. You know, when when stations say they're no longer a whiff, that means you're fired. That means you're fired. That means you're fired. There's really no ifs, ands, or buts, right? So it's like, you know, again, um, you know, your guess is as good as mine. We don't know. The ratings, the timing, I don't know. They said the changes were made to the station's website, right? And now you got Ted Johnson, Andy Hart, Nikki Stevens, and it's placed to site now list generic WEEI programming during the time slot. All right, so I mentioned the draft tonight. Uh I think there's gonna be some movement. I think you're gonna see some trades, especially in that first round. I still believe the Giants stand pat at 5 and 10. Uh, and I'm telling you, if that running back's on the board, would it shock me if the Giants drafted that running back? No. No. What am I gonna say? That my wife two times me. Shut up, you're always talking. Is that the scene where they are at the table and Robert De Niro has the catch-up and he's doing this? Remember that, right? You know, he never talks, he doesn't say anything. Ah, it's a lot more funny in Sicilian, it's a lot more funny in Italian. Come on, what do you what are you trying to stump me? I'm I'm giving you the whole friggin' scene. What are we talking about? I'm giving you the whole scene. Stop it. You know, that's when he's cleaning out the car, right? Ah, I hit a what'd he say? I hit a skunk. I hit a skunk, Karen. I'm telling you, classic babe in the woods, right? Classic, you know, Raybo's like the Henry Hill. You know, he's just hanging around. He's got the girlfriends on the side. Here we go, putting up in penthouses, boom, back and forth, you know, with the with the ketchup. Uh Glenn EHT chimes in. Q. I think the Eagles have to go offensive tackle. Eagles, that offensive line is definitely getting older. Uh, we know that. I can see them going tackle. I can definitely see them going tackle. Now, can they also go wide receiver in the first round? With the thought that they're gonna trade and lose AJ Brown. Uh the name I'll give you tonight if you're an Eagles fan is Monroe Freeling, the offensive tackle. He's huge from Georgia. He's huge. Now, I think the reason they do this is they turn around and the Eagles, Howie always makes a deal, does he not? So you can see the Eagles swiping, swapping that 23. You can see that. I have a feeling the Eagles are gonna turn around and figure out a way to crop uh um cut into the top 20, maybe even top 15. It just I I just this is what they do. This is exactly what they do. They find a way. You know, the Jets got that trade with Indianapolis. I can see the Eagles trading back to 16. Howie always does something like that. He always does something like that. Mendoza's gonna be the top overall draft pick. That's a done deal. Raiders feel they got their quarterback. They feel they got their quarterback. It's a done deal. Put it in stone. There's absolutely no way. No way. But I'll caution. I will caution you. Matt, Jets fan chimes in Q. I want to sit there and say we've had horrible draft picks over the years, just not really good. Uh the Jets need to get it right. Because you talk about coaches on the hot seat in April, Aaron Glenn is already on the hot seat. I'm still I'm I'm shocked. I am shocked that he still has a job with the Jets. I really do. But I will add this. If you look at the AFCs, Buffalo's getting older, Miami's in flux, New England's a team on the rise. Can the Jets be a little better? Yeah. Do I trust ownership group? No. Do I trust the coaching staff and how the roster has been constructed? No. That's why it's important for the Jets to hit at number two. They have to. And I think ultimately they're gonna go defense. They're gonna go with an edge rusher. I like the kid David Bailey out of Texas Tech. They gotta clean up that defense. Alright, a couple more c a couple more comments before we close it out. One dog looks the other way. And one dog looks, yeah. One dog looks this way and one dog looks the other way. Correct. Yeah, that was the that was the um that was the photo. Yes, correct.
SPEAKER_03Alright, quick time out, we'll come back.
SPEAKER_02Straight up a couple minutes to play with. Uh, tomorrow we will go over the uh NFL draft. Uh I like how all the Boston fans and some of the media they are um oh presidente, he's gotta be having a fit. He tweets out uh the way there's absolutely no point in this article dropping two days ago with the post, knew they were dropping more, just pure evil shit from them. Oh my goodness. Yeah, I mean, listen, it's not timing, is everything, man. Uh, Mike and Ohio chimes in Q. What do you think the Brownies do at six? Ooh. Good question. I think the Browns are gonna go. If they believe Sanders is the answer and they can live with the weapons they have, they're gonna fix that offensive line. I can see them go and tackle the big kid out of Miami. I think Lloyd mentioned him. I can see them maybe go and tackle. NFO rumors tweeted the New York Post reported that they contacted Mike Rabel on Wednesday about newly uncovered March 2020 photos with Deanna Rossini. Later that day, he would he announced he would miss the third day of the draft for counseling, and the images have since been published. Uh Q, it's a nothing burger. You know that. Move on. Uh, John says, uh, feels like Rabel would trade Drake May at this point to avoid a press conference tonight. Hey man, listen. You know, Jack chimes in. Q, how about my Jets? No scandals, no affairs, no picks. Just a terrible football team. Oh, that is priceless. Oh my god. That is a good one, Jack. That is a good one. Jack the Jets fan. That is a good one. That made me laugh. Oh my goodness. That's a good one. Uh, my man Billy S, uh, betting analyst, chimes in. Uh Q, more photos of Mike Graymo and Deanna Rossini together than there are me, me, my wife. 27 years. Come on, guys. Uh, did the Broncos make oh, do the Broncos make a move? Well, I mean, you want to give me a little more context to that, Miguel? Denver ball, right? Denver sits where? Didn't Denver make the trade with Miami? What's Denver? Denver is like 30, right? Or no? Denver, Denver doesn't have a first-round draft pick. They only have second-round draft picks. Because they made the trade with Miami. So Miami gets a 30th pick, right? Correct me if I'm wrong. Bronco fan? Bronco Gideo? Broncos country, let's ride. I think the Eagles trade back. I think Dallas trades back. I don't know what Denver's gonna do. There are just some teams I have no idea what they're thinking. Like Arizona to me is a dark horse in this. It really is. Arizona is a dark horse, and I'm gonna tell you why. Is it what if Arizona turns around and I'm trying to let me pull up the roster for a second before I make this proclamation? I just want to make sure I'm accurate. Uh all right, hear me out. So Connor is 30 years old. He missed a lot of games last season. He got hurt, James Connor. I like him. He's a good back. What if Arizona thinks they're gonna get a deal done with Brissett and to kind of sweeten the pot, they turn around and they draft love out of Notre Dame and you have a stud running back? That pretty much kind of upsets the Apple card a little bit because now Tennessee that was gonna draft love or running back, they're gonna scramble a little bit, which bodes well for the Giants because sometimes teams panic and they go to plan B. And if they turn around and say take a linebacker instead of a running back at four, and the Giants are sitting there at five, who's to say the Giants can't turn around? Forget about Styles, forget about an edge rusher, and they can basically pluck Carnell Tate from Ohio State, who a lot of mock drafts have going to Washington at seven. That's crazy. Crazy. I'm talking, I mean, madman, Michael. Do you want to get in on this? We're talking draft. We're going top ten, and here we go. Read in the frigging room on a throwed out Thursday. The Hulk Hogan doc on Netflix is five star. Okay. Okay. There we go. Read in the room. Pick, pick, pick. I would say Denver has to address the offensive line. Um, I would say. I would still maybe add a little depth in the linebacker spot. Now, day two or three, you're more prone to trade back, and then that's when you go after depth. So day three might be a little more activity for the Denver Broncos. You're gonna have a couple teams. Um, you know, fall back. Uh, front office sports Q, you know we love in the show opinion. Rables downplay the Rossini photos only added Field or PR nightmare by calling this story laughable. He incentivized whistleblowers. Wow. Those are my guys from front office. I love the job that they do. It's a feeding frenzy right now. It is. That's why when someone sits there and says, you know, or you get the one group ball that says it's not a big story. Are you kidding me? Look, I'm telling you, the reality check is this. Whether you want to argue with me or not. And I know a lot of times I am so wrong with things, but once in a while, once in a while, I will nail one or two things. Once in a blue moon, his job is in friggin' jeopardy. That is the reality check. That is the NFL, they're not going to investigate for personal conduct now in-house, throw it right back on the Patriots to see if they do something. His job is in jeopardy. I'm telling you right now. I'm telling you. And think about this. If the Patriots show friggin' just just cowardness, right? If they trade down from their first round pick, do you know he could avoid speaking to the media for the next 30 plus days? That's a month. That's a month. He is scheduled to speak to the media if they make a pick. What does it tell you if they don't make a friggin' pick? No, we don't want to talk about that. We don't want to talk about that. If the pants don't make a pick, this man doesn't need to speak. He doesn't need to speak for 30 days, which by that time, you know, you get a little bit of the dust that kind of settles. And like I said, you cannot call it laughable, right? You can't have an organization or your agents or your PR, which again, people forgot to mention, try to kill a story. You basically hid for several weeks, okay? No cameras at the podium, not answering questions, missing the draft. I'm telling you right now, you guys can keep hammering me. I'm telling you where the situation is going. The Patriots are saying what they're saying because they are thinking of a way to get rid of Mike Grable. They are thinking of a way to make a clean break. I'm telling you, I don't hit on a lot. I don't. I don't. It hey, hey, hey, hey. Yes, that's a good one. That's not that's not a big time prediction. NFL hates this type of drama. They'll step in strong over the past. They're not gonna do it. They're not. They just said they're not gonna investigate. We already know their relationship with the Patriots and Robert Kraft and and Roger Goodell. It is a long shot. It is. It's a bad PR hit, man. When you start to break. You know why they should care? Because it involved the media. That's just my opinion. They should care because it involved a credited member, reputable, credible member of the media who resigned because she ultimately knew she was gonna get fired. She's got to walk back a lot of stuff, Diana Rossini. You just can't trust this man anymore going forward. You can't. You can't. And there's gonna be a lot of PR spinning and a lot of damage control. And we are now, again, we are now at the point where, yes, it's his private life, but it's been exposed. And it is a horrible look, not only for him, his family, the Patriots, but the SHIELD. And that's Roger Goodell. And what does Roger Goodell always preach, making his whatever, 60 something on a million annually? He's always doing what? He's always trying to what? Protect the SHIELD. You don't think right now they're going crazy inside the offices in New York? I don't know what the proper action should be, but I'm telling you right now, the last time I checked, many people have been fired for frigging less. Now, here's the other question, the elephant in the room that you guys have brought up. Where do you prioritize? Right? This is your true test right now. Little gumption, a little guile, a little guts. Where do we put winning over everything? This is a man that just took this team, second-year quarterback, arguably the MVP of the NFL, and Drake May took him to the Super Bowl. Where they were overwhelmed and they lost, but represented the AFC. Young team on the rise, head coach of the year candidate on the rise. Where do you value? Right? Where do you reputation? Character? Morals, or winning? It's a tough, that is a tough quandary to be in. If you're the Patriots. It really is. It really, really is. Alright, uh, a couple more before you get out of here. I read off all the comments today. All of them. Every single one of them. 80 something. I read them off. You're just not reading in the room. That's the problem with you. That is the problem. I read them all off. Period. They say that what they do behind scenes will never know. Correct. Ghost may have made an accurate comment just now. No, no, no, no, no. Uh and underscore Abel 17. Patz, I see it right there. There's a Patz van. Why should Rabel be fired if he brought the Pats to the Super Bowl? Because of everything I said over the last hour and 34 minutes. He should be fired because he put the organization and the NFL in a very precarious position, in a bad spot, and in a bad light. And he lied. He tried to cover it up. He tried to basically squash the story. He hadn't faced the media. And oh, by the way, he was having an affair with a credit NFL reporter, and God knows what the hell he told her. Which now you can also start to connect the dots, potentially in the form of tampering. And underscore Abel 17. It's a bad look. It is a bad, bad, bad look. And I think it's gonna happen. And I think there's gonna be verbiage that comes into play where here we go. You know, I'm going away for a little bit. Right? A you know, indefinite leave of absent and and all of a sudden this dust dismant, we can't bring it back. That's too much of a PR hit. Think about the timing. Think about it. I mean, it's just like, and think about this guy. If if this if this private investigator who's just kind of like tiptoeing through the the tulips here, like if her husband really hired this PI, and I think he did, I definitely believe he did, those were PI photos, that wasn't TMZ. You had all this info, you're just sitting for years and stewing and waiting and saying to yourself, I think I'm gonna drop this on the eve of come on. I mean, wow, that's diabolical. And the planning and the patience, uh, that's a scary individual. Definitely a PI was hired, and it's been going on for years. The photos don't lie, the film doesn't lie. So, like I said, the NFL, the NFL is funny. The NFL can tolerate uh domestic abuse, domestic violence. Well, let me walk that back. They they don't tolerate it, but it almost gets it's almost glossed over at times because the NFL, the way they do business and hand out punishments, there's no rhyme or reason. The NFL, you know, the players always get second chances. It always seems they get second chances, no matter what. But yet the NFL is very protective of the shield, the integrity. And they look at this, a coach of a well-known franchise, one of the historic franchises the league has ever seen, successful franchise, comes over. Here we go. Part of those runs, winning Super Bowls with Brady and the gang and the hoodie and Kraft, okay? Franchise that makes billions, billions, billions, in an entity of the NFL that makes billions, billions, billions. They want to protect that nugget. They want to protect that shield. It's all about the character, the integrity, right? The shield. We cannot let anything disrupt the shield. We can't have the shield put in a bad light. This is putting it in a bad light. And pushing back, calling it laughable, trying to be a billy, a bully, not um taking um field and questions on it, trying to get it shut down. They don't care about anything else. They don't want anyone to hurt the shield. And knowing that a head coach was having an affair with an incredited NFL insider, think about that. Think about that for a moment. I'm telling you right now, like the optics, right? The conflict of interest, that makes that this is keeping Roger Cadell up. Now, he's gonna put on the bravado, the fake face, when Jesus Christ is named the number one draft pick, he's gonna hug him, right? We know it's gonna be Mendoza, he's gonna walk out, he's gonna get booed. Players can do whatever the hell they want. They're always gonna get their second chance in the NFL. We've seen it third, fourth, fifth chances. But this, this is a no-no. This is now crossed that line. Is it right, wrong, fair? I mean, I think it's, you know, the hypocrisy that is the NFL. The contradiction, that is the NFL. But when it comes to this, Roger Codell's gotta be going nuts. He's got to be going nuts. You know, ascending coach, young coach, ascending, you know, young team that's already had success in the past and then comes back down, and now all of a sudden they're going back up again. Great story, the Patriots, the Patriots way, Drake May, here we go, back in the Super Bowl. And now this crap, oh, by the way, with a member of the media who, in essence, is married to the NFL. You had an affair, this has been going on for six years. Now you're trying to cover up, push back, dismiss it, laughable, cover it up. Ah, it's a shitstorm. It's a shitstorm. Two things will happen. It's gonna get fired, or as I said, he steps down. I just don't see any other scenario. Uh they couldn't care about anything players do unless it turns the image of the league, not just a player. Wow, we had a triple DQ on Monday. Dip, dive, and duck. Correct. Now a triple G on Thursday. Gumption guy, oh guts, absolutely. 30% of the league wouldn't be playing if they actually cared. That's correct. You want to be able to field a punt unit, a punt return unit. Uh go on. All right. Gotta start wrapping up. Excellent stuff from you guys today. Outstanding job on the comments. Appreciate all the uh first-time commenters subscribing to the YouTube channel. The draft is tonight. The NBA playoffs are tonight. Uh, I think the Giants make a little surprise. I would love to see the Giants draft that kid at five. I don't think they're gonna do it, but we shall see. And as I mentioned, uh big uh opportunity for the Knicks. We'll get into a little more baseball minana because the Phillies stink. Bryce Harper's coming out basically saying, you know, you gotta find the ticker. They are a laughable franchise right now. Oh, by the way, they lost again in 10. Oh, and and and Luca wanted me to make note of um, you know, being flyer up. Yeah, I don't give a crap about the Philadelphia Flyers. Enjoy it. What do you have? 3-0 in that series against Pittsburgh. That's wonderful. I didn't want to overlook that comment. All right, good stuff from Jonathan Marshall.
