This episode is all about gifts and giving back. I’ll be visiting with Lisa Deyo at Sweet Reads Bookstore in downtown Austin. We’ll talk a bit about all the great items still available for last minute gift giving.

Then I’ll stop in at the Austin Artworks Center to talk with Tom Robbins, the new Executive Director of Austin Area Arts. We’ll talk about Tom’s background, the Paramount Theater renovation project, last minute, unique gifts at the Austin Artworks Center, and a special gift for the community - a free, fun, family show this Thursday night at the Paramount Theatre - Who Brought The Humbug.

Then Michelle Orosco from Austin Utilities will tell us about a gift we can all give to the community, donations to the Heat Share program.

And then a conversation with Julie Clinefelter at the Austin Public Library. With students home for the holidays, the Austin Public Library has some fun ways that everyone can stay busy and engaged during the holiday break.
