In this episode I’ll be visiting with Nancy Schnable, Executive Director of Discover Austin. There are a number of big events coming up in the near future, including a couple of big events at the Austin YMCA.. We’ll talk with Kelly Winkles, Austin YMCA Operations Director about them in just a few minutes.

Then I visit with Luke Reese at the Jay C. Hormel Nature Center. This week we talk about a fish doorbell, what it is and how it works.

And I also get to learn more about the Austin Area Foundation’s Scholarship programs. Steve Barrett and Foundation Scholarship Chair Catherine Haslag fill us in on who the scholarships are for and how to apply.
