Wright Here Right Now, Discover Austin Minnesota 's Podcast

Wright Here Right Now S2 E21 Mower County Public Health and Austin Police Department SIRT

Discover Austin Minnesota Season 2 Episode 21

In this episode I will recap some news from this past week.

Then in this week’s Mower County Government segment I’ll be visiting with Mower County Public Health Nurses Jenny Evenson and Jenni Duholm. This is a very busy time of year for back to school vaccinations. We’ll talk about the role that Mower County Public Health plays in making sure everyone has access to vaccinations and the role that public health nurses play in the schools and our community.

And in this week’s City of Austin segment I’ll be talking with Austin’s Chief of Police David McKichan. Our discussion will center around the Special Response Incident Team that is called out when a situation warrants. We’ll talk about their role in keeping our communities safe.

Lastly I will highlight some events on the community calendar.
