Wright Here Right Now S2 E24 Mower County Fair 2025 Revisited
I wanted to share with you some conversations that I had at the 2025 Mower County Free Fair. This year after a year's absence I was back at the little “cabin”, as we call it, to both talk about the podcast with folks who might not be familiar with our program and to also record some interviews with people whom without their efforts, the fair would be a very different event.
You'll hear from Junior Fair Board Member Erika Hollerud, 2025 Mower County Fair Community Volunteer of the Year Tim Ruzek, 2025 Mower County Fair Person of the Year Rea Ann Peterson, and One Man Band Spencer Thury. Each of these people bring a unique passion to everything that they do and the Fair and our communities are better because of their willingness to volunteer..
I want to thank Fair Board President Kevin Finley and the entire Fair Board and also Fairgrounds staff for making my week at the fair possible. Being back in the little cabin between the fair office and the Crane Pavilion was a great opportunity to really get out and let people know about the Wright Here, Right Now podcast. I was even able to sign-up a couple of groups that will be taking part in the podcast in the future. So again Thank You to the Mower County Fair Board for the opportunity. After spending the week at the fair I already have some ideas on things that I can do to make my presence at the fair more engaging for everyone who follows my social media.
As my dad used to say, “God willing and the creek don’t rise” I hope to back at the fair in 2026.
