In this episode I’ll be at Discover Austin visiting with Director Nancy Schnable along with President Kat Linaker of Riverland Community College. We’ll talk about the incredible number of different programs available to students and how the campus community continues to grow.
Then I visit with Meredith Maloney, Office Manager and Naturalist at the Jay C. Hormel Nature Center. We’ll talk about cicadas, those interesting buzzing insects we hear on warm summer days
And I sit down with Austin Area Foundation Director Steve Barrett. The deadline for grant applications has just passed at the Foundation and we talk about the process to decide who will be grant recipients.
