In this episode, in the Discover Austin segment, I’ll be visiting with Director Nancy Schnable and her special guest Joe Bower from the Austin Area Chamber of Commerce. We’ll talk about a few major events coming up for the Chamber including the Freedom Fest Parade and the Ag Appreciation Cookout.
Then I’ll visit Jay C. Hormel Nature Center to talk with Naturalist Kelly Bahl. After the sighting of a black bear, now nicknamed Todd, last weekend, we'll talk about Black Bears and why one was wandering around Austin and what to do if you encounter a bear in your neighborhood.
