What's up, my beautiful soul tribe? Welcome back to the permission activated podcast, and I am your host, Coach Tai, here to empower your spirit and remind you that you don't need nobody's permission but your own because God already called you forth from the beginning of time. Let's go, baby. Let's jump right into this episode. Today's episode is gonna be entitled It's Not What It Appears to Be. I'm gonna say that again, it's not always what it appears to be. So, what do I mean by that? I mean sometimes the promotion is not gonna look like what you think it should. Sometimes the elevation is not going to come the way you think it is going to come. Baby, it's all about perspective. And when you begin to shift and train your perspective to know and understand that everything is always working out for the good, for your good and in your favor, you're gonna start being happy and grateful and thankful when things don't work out. Because when they don't work out, when one door closes, that means that God has five, 10, 15, 20 more doors that are open. Because what you gotta understand is God is always playing chess, not checkers. See, the enemy of your soul plays checkers, but God is always 10, 15, 20 steps ahead of him, a thousand steps ahead of him. So you gotta understand if God is slowing something down, if he's stopping something, if he's blocking something, baby, it is not punishment, it is for your protection. Rejection is God's protection. I heard a creator, and I cannot remember who the creator is, recently say something like, You gotta start saying to yourself, when something goes wrong, I'm so excited to see why that did not work out. I don't remember who the creator is, but I love that and I am definitely utilizing it and borrowing it all the time. And now I get excited when stuff doesn't work out. Every time it doesn't work out or it doesn't go the way that I planned or the way that I thought it was gonna go, I always say, God, I'm so excited to see why this didn't work out. I'm so excited to see where you're redirecting me. I'm so excited to see where the blessing and the breakthrough is gonna come out of this situation and circumstance. So I came to encourage somebody's spirit on today, baby. Keep moving forward, keep pressing forward because when I tell you all things are working together for your good, they're working together for your good. But if you're focusing on the bad, even when the good things are happening, you're going to miss what God is actually trying to do for you, around you, and within you and through you. Okay, who am I talking to out there today? It's time to get encouraged. I want you to get motivated again, inspired again, empowered again, and keep moving forward. Because as long as you keep moving, baby, the blessings, the breakthrough, the healing, the love, the opportunities, the doors, everything is going to keep moving towards you. Because, see, you have to remember you are the magnet. Your faith, which is the action, is the magnet that magnetizes everything that you're hoping and praying for to you. But if you don't move, then the magnet can't magnetize. But as long as you keep going, as long as you stay in action, in the motion of action, whatever it is you're believing for is going to stay in action, is going to stay in movement towards you as well. And it's going to be a beautiful collision. So I need you to start celebrating. If something didn't work out, if somebody left you, if somebody broke up with you, if you just found out somebody lied or cheated, or somebody betrayed you, or you got fired, or whatever happened, baby, I need you to start celebrating right now and thanking and praising God. Now, what do I mean by this? Perfect example. God wants you to think back to every situation and circumstance, every relationship that didn't work out. And now you can look back on that situation and say, God, thank you for saving me. Thank you for pulling me out of the devil's den. Come on now. How many people were you crying about, thought you would never find better? And now you look back on that situation now and you're like, Thank God, thank God it didn't work out. How many people can you say, I'm so glad I didn't marry them? How many situations and circumstances, I'm so glad I didn't have a kid with them? And so you have to thank your lucky stars because a lot of the situations and circumstances that did not work out is because you were dodging a spiritual bullet, okay? Literally. I'm talking about the enemy had a spiritual machine gun pointed at you. You had no idea how he was about to wreck your life, and God snatched you out of the fire because he said no, because he had that person hurt you, because he had that person betray you, he had that person walk away from you, or he blocked that opportunity, baby. I got stories for days. I can tell you stories for days. The saving grace of God, if it had not been for God that was on my side, baby. So let me tell you something. I'm so trained in my mind and heart now. Don't get me wrong, I'm still human, I still have feelings, I still have to process things out, right? But my perspective has changed. It's like now when God says no, I don't question it. I'm just like, okay, let's roll. Where are we going next? Because I already had to learn the hard way. And you don't have to learn the hard way. You just have to trust that life is always working in your favor, even when you think it's not working out, it's actually working for you. But you have to focus on the good and not focus on the rejection. Don't focus on the abandonment. You got to look at it as the hand of God protecting you. Period, point blank. And so now I don't take it personal. I don't internalize it. I just process it out. What does that look like? To process something out instead of internalizing it and taking it personal. You say, okay, well, why did I attract or draw this into my life? What was the lesson that I needed to learn? Where did I need to grow at? Where am I still weak at? And then you look at how that brought those different things out of you, how it cultivated it, how it strengthened it, how it increased it. At the end of the day, guys, it's all about how we're responding to life. It's all about how we're processing, how we're learning, and how we're growing. Because I'm going to tell you whatever you don't learn, you will repeat. Whatever you don't learn, you will repeat. So if you keep seeing the same cycles of things, relationships, situations, circumstances happening over and over, and it's not a desired result. It is because there is a lesson that you are not learning, you are not seeing, you are not perceiving, and you're not growing from. Because let me tell you something about God, He's a God of order. We do not get prematurely promoted. You don't get prematurely promoted. What does that mean? That means if you're in the fifth grade and you keep filling the fifth grade final, you're not getting promoted to high school. God would be setting you up for failure. Life would be setting you up for failure if he skipped you from the fifth grade to high school and you did not pass a fifth grade test. That's self-destruction. You would get to the ninth grade and completely lose your mind, okay? Or be devoured by life situations and circumstances. So a lot of times, guys, and this is another side note, sometimes you don't have or you haven't received what you've been believing for, praying for because you don't have the capacity to hold it yet. And if you don't have the capacity, you won't know what to do with it. So you'll destroy it, you'll self-sabotage, you know, whatever it may be. But you gotta be ready to hold the thing to carry the thing that God is giving you. So, with all that being said, I want you to celebrate the failures, the setbacks, the stumbling blocks, the roadblocks, the mountains because they were all working together for your good. Perfect example. I needed to be somewhere at a certain time, and I caught myself trying to take a shortcut and ended up getting on the highway going in the wrong direction. And as soon as I got on the highway, I almost got upset. But then I said to myself, I said, you know what? This is working together in my favor. This is literally working for me somehow. It is literally working in my favor. I'm so grateful and thankful getting on the highway the wrong way is working in my favor. It's all working in my favor because you have to think about how many things have to happen in the day for you not to have an accident, for you to get home safely, for you to leave home safely, for you to go throughout your day without being hurt, harmed, or anything happening. So many different minute things need to happen, seconds apart, minutes apart, to keep you safe. And so by me getting on the highway, going the wrong way, that could have been preventing an accident. That could have pre it could have been preventing a million things. But I will tell you, there was a blessing that came out of that because the area that I was going to, when I tell you it was just gonna say almost darn near impossible to get a parking space immediately. It's miraculous if you can get a parking space, right? Within 30 minutes. As soon as I got there, because I got on the highway going the wrong way, as soon as I was pulling up, somebody was pulling out. Miracle, miracle. I'm just saying, like that's something small, but it's not. You know, it was a big deal to me that day because I had to be somewhere at a certain time and I knew parking was gonna be horrible when I got there. I had to give myself extra time for that, but because I went the wrong way, I got there early and didn't even have to look for a parking space because it just opened up as soon as I got there. So this is why I'm saying you gotta celebrate everything that you think is a setback is really a setup, baby. Come on now. Every time you think you're going backwards, it's really the slingshot effect because sometimes God will pull you back just a little bit, baby, to launch you even further than you could have ever gotten to on your own. So change your perspective on today. Give yourself permission to give yourself grace, give yourself mercy, give yourself permission to forgive yourself for any mistakes that you may have made in the past, okay? Because we're all learning and growing. That's how we get stronger by making mistakes. And some of them are pretty wild, but listen, give yourself grace and mercy, okay? And give yourself permission to change your mindset. Give yourself permission to look at things differently. Give yourself permission to trust the hand of God, trust the will of God, and trust that He is orchestrating life in your favor to make everything align to give you exactly what you've been praying for, exactly what you've believed in for. So listen, I believe in you. You're doing great, you're doing fine. Just keep moving. Don't stop. Rest if you must, but don't you dare quit. Okay. I love you guys so much.
