What's good everybody? This your boy D Money. We're on another episode of the A lot of Fashion Podcast, and what we're going to talk about today is scaling without losing vision. Primarily, what we like to talk about here on the A lot of Fashion podcast is business development, business, you know, the industry, niches, things of that sort. And we're just going to get right into it. So, first and foremost, growth exposes the weaknesses within your brand. See, a lot of times a lot of people they think, oh yeah, once I start scaling my brand, I'll have all the money I need, and you know, everything's gonna be all good. But it never works like that. Because, see, the more orders you have, the more problems you're gonna, your business is gonna start to create for yourself. Because first and foremost, most entrepreneurs are starting off by themselves or just with an additional partner, they don't have multiple employees working for them, and then most importantly, they don't have any systems uh created for their brand in order to operate certain things that matter, like you know, shipping, uh quality control, customer service, things of that sort. But we're gonna get right into that. So, number one is operational reality. When you start to gain more orders, you're gonna start to see shipping delays because first and foremost, you gotta pack these orders if you know you have the inventory already there available for you, and then if you have manufacturing, say if you have a clothing brand or you know, a certain array of products, it's gonna start to create delays because the manufacturer has to create these products, and the time frame that you were accustomed to before is gonna extend because of the simple fact that you have multiple orders coming in, you know, at a time. So that's number one. The quality control is another thing, you're gonna want to get involved with um companies that or you know, manufacturers or um just people that are helping you to develop these products. Uh, you're gonna want to be able to get with um people that take mass orders. You're not gonna you're not gonna want to work with people that you know take small orders or minimum orders of like 100 or 500. You're gonna be wanting to work with people that take orders minimum of like two to five thousand, just so that way once you place an order, the same time frame that you know is allowed is gonna stay on pace. Number three is customer service. Your customer service is gonna start to lag because of the simple fact that you may not have enough people that are in the customer service realm hired for your business. So the time that you were spending, you know, doing certain things, say, you know, product development or uh marketing, you're gonna be primarily focused on you know customer service so that way your customer retention doesn't fall off. Don't rush expansion. A lot of people like to rush expansion without even knowing what it actually entails. Stay controlled, stay with what is working for you. Those systems that you're starting to build with what is working is starting to create the foundations of your business. Um social media is working for you, stick with social media, if anything, get more consistent with it. These uh posts that you are you know gaining more traffic on, but showing you what is actually uh engaging more with your target audience, your customers or potential customers. So learn from these experiences so that way you can take it and you know stay focused and consistent. Um stay initial intentional. When you're intentional, you move a purpose. You stay with the story, you stick with the plan. A lot of people don't stick with the plan, they go off and start trying to do new things once things are working for them and forget about things that were working for them. Stay intentional with what's working, find out what your weaknesses are, keep maintaining what is working and develop those weaknesses step by step, not all in one swoop. Because if you try to do it all in one swoop, again, it's going to take focus away from what is working for you. So maintain the main thing. Number three is protect the brand. Not every opportunity is online with your brand, whether it be brand ambassadors. Brand ambassadors half the time are not even interested in your brand, they just see a paycheck regardless of the amount and are willing to just do it because of the simple fact that they can make a paycheck. You got to see what people are doing in their day-to-day practices in order to see if it aligns with your brand and the message that you have behind your brand. Because, like I said, people can come in there and mess up your brand just with one collaboration. So be mindful of that. Also, be mindful of you know, brands that you know have uh opportunities like magazine opportunities or whatever. Make sure that the magazine that you are actually featured in is aligned with the industry that you are actually uh a part of. Because a lot of times there will be magazines that hit you up and they don't even actually align with the messaging or even the industry that you're in. So be mindful of that. Scaling fast means nothing if you can't maintain what works for the brand. It's just that simple. So make sure that, like I said, you maintain the main thing, the things that are working for you. Make sure that you build solid systems for solid habits by yourself and your employees so that way you maintain customer service, you maintain the quality control of the products that are being put out, and you minimize as many shipping delays and other problems that can occur. The next episode that we'll be talking about on the Lotta Fashion podcast is uh from product to cultural movement. So make sure that you like and subscribe and you stay tuned so that way you can catch in, uh catch up on all the old episodes and stay tuned for the new episode.
