Vanessa Ferguson:

Welcome to the DisLove Podcast with Vanessa and Kris. I'm Vanessa Ferguson.

Kris Johns:

And I'm Kris Johns.

Vanessa Ferguson:

We would like to welcome you to show number 139. And for any listeners joining us for the first time. Our show features things we love at Disney and in each episode we have a guest who creates Disney magic for our listeners at home or on their Disney vacations. From vacation planners to product producers, our guests can bring Disney magic into your life and, as a reminder to our listeners, we appreciate if you take time to leave us a review on Apple Podcast or any other platform where you listen. That just helps us grow the show. And on today's show we are going to be joined by Alexa. She and her husband, eric, are baby quick, independent, quality providers, and they are a family that lives in Orlando, right near Disney, and their business provides all kinds of baby gear, from full size cribs and bassinets to strollers and high chairs. They have everything that you need for your little ones to make your trip a lot less stressful.

Kris Johns:

And I think the most important thing there is. We actually were customers in our most recent trip and really what I was impressed by was the quality of the equipment and just how much they have to offer, because, again, disney does a great job but they don't have a full array of all the equipment and it's also one of those things where you might not want your baby or young child in something that everybody has been in and so, exactly, I think the great thing with baby quip is that it's really high quality equipment provided by great people, and I think that's the other wonderful thing.

Vanessa Ferguson:

For sure. So we are really excited to get her interview up for you and for the first part of your show. We're going to be reviewing openings that are taking place at the parks right now. We just recently over the last weekend went to Mickey's very merry Christmas party and we also attended the candlelight processional at Epcot. We unfortunately did not get to attend the Jollywood nights at Hollywood Studios, but we'll briefly touch on that. We had some friends who went to that this week as well.

Vanessa Ferguson:

So first off is Mickey's very merry Christmas party, and this is one thing that is a separate ticketed event. So the park closes at six o'clock for day guests and then you, if you are staying for the party, you would purchase a ticket ahead of time. This year most of the nights sold out, so it's always important to plan ahead when they do go on sale and you can get in as early as four o'clock. So it's kind of nice if you can plan it where it's not a park day and you can just kind of hang out at your resort, go to Disney Springs and then you can head over at four o'clock. We unfortunately got caught in the rain earlier in the day, so we ran back to our resort and we just kind of we've been before and so we just kind of decided we waited out the rain, we got dry, and then we went back a little bit before nine so we weren't there as long as you could be, but we have been before and we just decided we didn't want to be wet all night.

Kris Johns:

No, but we still got the full experience and I think it's one of those pieces where, like most things at Disney, you know when it's your first time you get the full experience. You do the day beginning, the day end and I think a lot of it's the same thing. We got to see the parade, we had the fireworks, the special characters, so we got really a lot of value, but it wasn't really mission critical that we were there the entire time.

Vanessa Ferguson:

Yes. So to give you some highlights, there is a castle show called Mickey's Most Marious Celebration. In between then there's also a Frozen Holiday Surprise show. So if you have any little ones or adults we I've watched the Frozen one before that's great. The Mickey's Once Upon a Christmas Time Parade that is two different times. I highly suggest going to the later one. We got there when the earlier one was finishing, but the later one I just felt like it was so much easier to watch the parade if you wait till the later one, because some people who have really young ones have already left by that point. It's also good timing the fireworks only in one time. It's called Minnie's Wonderful Christmas Time Fireworks and you can then time it just right so you can go to watch the parade a little bit afterwards.

Vanessa Ferguson:

Some of the other holiday highlights are they have we didn't make it to this, and this one's always fun reindeer wranglers at Country Bear Jamboree, so that's kind of a fun highlight. There's a Disney Junior Jingle Jam and that's at Cosmic Rays. We've taken our daughter to that. She got to dance with Doc McStuffins. They had some of the characters from Lion King, so that's fun. Also nearby there's Club Tinsel in Tomorrowland they have some fun dancing and music as well. The highlight is, of course, people love to be able to go on the rides without any weights and you really can walk on a lot of the rides. We highlighted our we focused our time on doing the Christmas stuff this time, but if your family hasn't been to the park during the day and you come in at that four o'clock, you can really get on rides with very little weight, which is nice, correct, and that's.

Kris Johns:

I think the other wonderful thing about the ticket is that, again, the Disney experience is just making sure you get as much as you can, and what I like about it is that you know, maybe, instead of doing the daytime, because if you go at maybe not even necessarily peak capacity, you're going to wait on a lot of rides. But what's great about the Christmas party is that you're going to have more opportunity to see more characters and then you're going to have a chance to definitely get on those rides that you love.

Vanessa Ferguson:

Now, for example, the Jungle Cruise is made over to the Jingle Cruise. It's called Jingle Cruise with a holiday twist, and we had been at Magic Kingdom the day before we went to the party. We had some individuals that were in our group that waited over an hour to get on the Jingle Cruise at the Christmas party we had friends that walked right on. So that just gives you a sense of is everything a walk on? No, you might wait some time, but it gives you a chance to really cut down those wait times and be able to enjoy those. I think one of the highlights of and they also have a virtual queue for Tron. We didn't do it that time because we had done it the day before during we had entered the virtual queue and wrote it the night before, but that's also awesome, so you can hopefully get a better chance of getting on that ride as well. The highlight, though, really is the characters, I would say, besides the special fireworks and shows. So we typically the characters are in special outfits. So we had a friend who, in Fantasyland they waited and they saw Winnie the Poo and friends and they all had like winter scarfs on.

Vanessa Ferguson:

We got to see our daughter loves Mary Poppins, and Mary Poppins is up at front and it's not just Mary Poppins, they to add something special. They had one of the penguins with her. And Mickey Mouse has a special outfit. I know at the Halloween party Jack Skellington is a big thing. For the Christmas party Jack Skellington appears a sandy claws. Then they have a lot of the princesses with the princes, which is unusual. So Ariel and Prince Eric, rapunzel and Flynn Rider, cinderella and Prince Charming. Even got Snow White in the prince Aurora and Prince Philip Also, we were able to granted she's there during the day hours, but Kris waited for our daughter to see Maribel in maybe 15 minutes, if that it wasn't even not long mostly we're waiting.

Vanessa Ferguson:

They were holding and not having her come out because there was still some smoke from the fireworks so we probably would have saw her sooner. In the past we've seen Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dumb, alice in the White Rabbit. It's fun. Kris has gotten Scrooge McDuck before. I did yeah, not this trip, but on a previous Christmas party. Yeah, I'll get those photos out to show him. We'll post some of those photos. And Santa is goofy. They also have the seven dwarfs and we didn't do it this trip, but my family and I we have gotten that. And then it's fun. The country bears are out. You can see Santa, all kinds of different things. So it's really worth it to see the characters and those unusual in those unusual outfits. And I always say it's worth the character dining or going to these special events to see the characters. You don't want to wait in line an hour to see the princesses if you can wait and see them within a short period of time at these events.

Vanessa Ferguson:

Now a couple other fun things about this party. Well, we'll talk about the fireworks here in a second. But one of the highlights is that you get special treats. So they have special treats throughout the park and this year they had cookies from Cheryl's cookies and at different stations they had different types of cookies. They had hot cocoa at some of the stations, they had hot or they had cider at some of the spots. And the nice thing is the cookies are individually packaged. So if you don't want to eat them all right now, we even brought some home. So that is really nice that you get a chance to enjoy that as well. And, Kris, it's nice because you can get cookies that you like and then, if you don't like it, you can share it with somebody else and they'll give you as many cookies as you want.

Vanessa Ferguson:

Yes, yes. So that's a big highlight as well. So a couple other things that are nice is that there's also some overlays on some of the other rides as well. So at At Space Mountain they do some special music for the party. Then over at Monsters Inc Laugh Floor, they have a holiday themed one. I did this two years ago and it is super cute.

Vanessa Ferguson:

I'm not one that goes to Monsters Inc very often, but this was a lot of fun. We enjoyed it quite a bit, and so it's nice to be able to add in those new things and things that you wouldn't experience otherwise. I will say that the Fireworks show is really great. I think the projections on the castle and everything are awesome. It really highlights some things that you don't get to see otherwise. Now the Christmas Parade. So it's called Mickey's Once Upon a Christmas Time Parade, and this is only at the party until December 22nd. So after December 22nd, once you have like those peak holiday times, they do this parade for the day guests as well, and it's perfect. Like we just Kris and our daughter stood up, were near the hub, they kind of stood on the one thing and she was able to see the parade, and they have some nice floats. Santa, of course, is at the end and it's just so fun. I will say I don't know. There's the. We've done the Halloween party and the Christmas party this year. What would you say is your favorite?

Kris Johns:

Christmas.

Vanessa Ferguson:

Yeah, I was gonna say I would say the Christmas one as well. Now, of course, we live in Michigan so snow is not a big deal, but there's snow on Main Street. There's just something magical about walking out at the end of the night to have the snow coming down and it really just is a great experience. So, our friends, we all got to do some of the special characters. I think just the it helps you slow down a little bit. I know doing the dance party with our daughter is just kind of a nice break. You could sit down. We were enjoying some of our cookies and stuff and the kids can have fun. And I think one of the nice things is is that you can. I feel like it's a little bit more relaxed, you can enjoy the experience a little more than during the day when there's so many people in so many crowds.

Vanessa Ferguson:

They also have special food items throughout. So what you'll want to do is you'll get the guide and they have special. They had a special popcorn bucket I got. That was a Mickey Nutcracker. They have special food items like at Cosmic Rays. Over at Pagos Bill, they, our friends, were getting like they had specialty desserts, lots of fun things. So I'll share some pictures of those as well.

Vanessa Ferguson:

I really think that these parties are worth those extra dollars. It is expensive, and that's one thing that sometimes people are apprehensive about, but it's totally worth it. I will say they do offer a dessert party at Tomorrowland Terrace, and this is not worth it. You're already spending $150, $175 to get in the park. Don't take your time to do the dessert party. Do the dessert party on another night. We've done the dessert party for that, for the regular fireworks, and it's worth it to do it then, but definitely don't take some of your time out of the day, out of the party, to do the dessert party. A couple more things I think that are nice is. It's just a chance to really get some of those experiences that you wouldn't have during the day, and if you're going at the holidays, that's really the time that you want to be able to do that.

Vanessa Ferguson:

One of the things that you want to keep in mind, too, is spacious, your time out. So, like we talked about, we watched the second parade. Another thing is our daughter like Mary Poppins. Mary Poppins is at the front of the park. We went at nine o'clock to see Mary Poppins because people had already saw her earlier in the evening. We were second in line. We didn't wait that long. So those are some things you're going to want to be mindful about.

Vanessa Ferguson:

We used a story hunt by Next Page from Meg and she had all of the treats listed. She had all of the different highlights, and then there were some fun things to look up and do during the party. But being prepared with something like that I'll put the link to where you can purchase something like that from her we had her on a show a few back those are some things that are really worthwhile. Again, it's what you value with your time. If you want to spend more time just during the day doing regular rides, or if you're there to experience some of the holiday things, this is where you can really take advantage of that.

Vanessa Ferguson:

Now, moving over to Epcot, you have well, they have the Festival of the Holidays, but the event we're going to focus on is the Candlelight Processionnel, and this is on select nights during starts right after Thanksgiving and runs through Christmas, and this is really it's kind of a neat show. It is where there's a live orchestra with a chorus that has a lot of people from different local organizations Like we have some friends that had family members and friends in it and they have as well as, like local choirs and things like that, there's always a celebrity narrator and typically this changes every two to three days. Kris, who was our celebrity narrator, which we kind of talked about this earlier.

Kris Johns:

The all time best, John Stamos.

Vanessa Ferguson:

Yes, and if you've listened to the show before, I know you alluded there is a history of John Stamos agitating Vanessa Ferguson. So this was nice, that we had a good experience of Vanessa Ferguson, not just this Vanessa Ferguson, but another one from our friends at Beyond the Mouse podcast as well. So John Stamos, which was super cool. So you have a couple of different things with this Number one.

Vanessa Ferguson:

So how this works is the story of Christmas is told by the celebrity narrator and that at certain segments, the narrator stops and then the choirs sings various Christmas carols and songs that we all know and love and like. For instance, this year we had John Stamos, neil Patrick Harris, you had Joy McIntyre, stephen Curtis, chapman all kinds of different celebrities, which is super cool. And how this works is there are three shows every evening and you can go just included with your Epcot ticket. But what we did is we did guaranteed seating by purchasing one of the Candelite processional dining packages and this gives you guaranteed seating. I will say we got caught in a torrential downpour and even though we arrived literally minutes before the show started, we had a seat, which is well worth it.

Kris Johns:

Yes, we did it Now. Granted, I was behind a tree but, I, was able to lean around kind of like you see in a cartoon and see most of the show. It was very wonderful.

Vanessa Ferguson:

And it was well if we wouldn't have had the ticket because of the rain we would have. There was a huge mass of people just standing in the walkway between the American Gardens Theater and the American Adventure Pavilion. So you definitely. I think it's worth it, especially if it's someone that you know will be a little bit more popular. So the Candlelight Processional Table Service Dining Package it includes, like your meal, if you are. We went to the breakfast in Norway with the princesses, so that's kind of a that's sort of family style. Also, you got a non-alcoholic drink and your option. But if you do want to sit down places, you get an appetizer, entree, dessert and a non-alcoholic drink and of course it's not a specialty one or a buffet. But all of the different participating restaurants include the Royal Banquet Hall, which we did, the Beer Garden in Germany, coral Reef Garden Grill, which we love, garden Grill I mean, we love all these restaurants Le Celier, and then there's same day packages available at Regal Eagle Smokehouse.

Vanessa Ferguson:

I've not heard how much luck people have with this. I'd be interested to hear from some of you. Rosencrown Dining Room and then Spice Road Table. Spice Road Table is a little bit different how they do it because they have small plates, so if you go there, their setup is a little different for what you get included in it. So I think this show is phenomenal. The singing is always great, the narrators are always great, and this is Kris' first time going. What did you think about the Candlelight Procession?

Kris Johns:

It was an excellent experience.

Vanessa Ferguson:

And I think it's one of those shows that if it was, I know, if it was like near us you would pay a decent amount for a ticket to go see a similar show, and it was about 45 minutes, so I think it's well worth your time, like if it was a holiday experience in and of itself, aside from everything else that's taking place at the park.

Kris Johns:

Oh yes, I mean just it would be a wonderful experience just as a carve out I mean, if this were at the Orlando Magic Arena. It would be worth the value Just alone.

Vanessa Ferguson:

For sure. So that is kind of the big special event that is at Epcot for the holidays. Now they also have things going on throughout the day which we're not touching too much on, that this show, but you have the festival, the holidays, where there's different things going on in each of the countries, like we saw the Santa character that is in Norway. They have a cookie stroll, which is fun. You get a passport and you try different cookies. We didn't spend a lot of time at the park that day because we had reservations and then we were going to the Christmas party that night, so we only did one cookie out of the cookie stroll, but it's fun. There's also all lost holiday traditions, expeditions, so lots of holiday things happening at Epcot as well, which is super great. And I think we were very happy with paying for Mickey's very merry Christmas party as well as paying for the add-on for the candlelight processional to have the seating. I have no regrets of paying that extra money for either one of those special events.

Kris Johns:

Oh no, it was just worth every penny.

Vanessa Ferguson:

And the one event that we didn't get to do because we were on a trip for our friends vow renewal. So we had some other events on different nights. One of the things that just didn't coincide with our trip is the Jollywood nights. I'm sure you've probably read online. There's kind of been mixed reviews. I know it's getting better. We had some family that went to it during that timeframe while we were down there, and then our good friends also went and they enjoyed it. So it's getting better. I hope that we can go to that in the next few years. But that was only on 10 nights that ran from mid-November until it's running until December 20th. So it's kind of a fun new event. But we're not going to talk about that because we didn't get to go to it. But definitely, if you've experienced it and checked it out, please let us know. And we're going to get up our show with our interview with Alexa here in a second, but before we do, Kris, before we close out our segment, she shared with us a special offer for our listeners.

Kris Johns:

She sure did Rent one item and get an upgrade free. When you book through the link in the show notes, only valid with the Kevall family in Orlando, florida, you must mention your chosen item in your rental booking comments. Free upgraded item worth up to a maximum of $10 per day. Purchased items must total a minimum of $20 per day. Examples include pay for a standard crib rental and get a Newton mattress upgraded no extra charge. Pay for a Mockingbird stroller rental and receive an upper cooler at no additional charge. That's awesome.

Vanessa Ferguson:

Yeah, and we'll put that information in our show notes as well. So we're really looking forward for you to hear all about Alexa and her husband's service. They offer great thing. We've used them now twice on trips for our daughter, so I'm sure you're going to really get a lot out of this. We would like to welcome Alexa to the show. Her and her husband, eric, are independent quality providers with a company called Baby Quip and they can provide all kinds of rentals for your little ones when you're on your Walt Disney vacation, and we'll have her explain a lot more about that, but we would like to welcome her to the show. Thank, you.

Alexa Cabal:

I'm excited to be here.

Vanessa Ferguson:

Now we always start off asking people a little bit about what they enjoy when they're at Disney, and lately we've been asking our guests who is your favorite character to meet at the parks or anywhere with Disney.

Alexa Cabal:

Well, normally I would say Pocahontas, because she is my all-time favorite Disney character, but I have a two and a half year old now and he is obsessed with Toy Story, so I haven't been yet with him to meet Buzz Lightyear, but I think he would go crazy if he met Buzz, and that is on my list to do in the next month with him, because he really is just obsessed with the stories.

Vanessa Ferguson:

I know it's so much fun when you get to see your kids see their characters that they've just loved on these shows. I know that's one of our favorite things with our daughter too.

Alexa Cabal:

Yeah, it's just so fun to see the magic in their eyes. My husband and I have been going to Disney World since we were in college and I used to work for Disney, so we used to go a lot as a couple, and now in the last two years it's changed the way we visited Disney with a baby and a toddler and it's just a different kind of fun and magic and it looks totally different from when we used to go just us too, but in a good way.

Vanessa Ferguson:

That is for sure, and of course, we have you on here because we want to learn all about your business and the services you offer connected to Disney.

Alexa Cabal:

Yes, so we are independent quality providers through BabyQuest, and so those of you who aren't familiar with BabyQuest think Airbnb, but for baby and toddler gear rentals.

Alexa Cabal:

So there are locations all over the globe with these quality providers, so my husband and I are those, and we rent out baby gear in certain locations.

Alexa Cabal:

So my husband and I focus on the Orlando area and we provide things like full-size cribs, rollers, high chairs, bassinettes, think of it, and we probably have it that you can rent so you don't have to travel with all of the things that you need for making a vacation comfortable with a baby and a toddler, and it's just so much to pack and to lug around in an airport or even if you're doing a road trip, it's just so tricky to pack all of those things.

Alexa Cabal:

So we make it easier by having all of the products and delivering it straight to you, picking it up for you and the biggest thing as parents, we like our things super clean. We're pretty germaphobic, and what we love about Baby Clip is they already have very high standards for cleaning and they train us on how to clean things properly, especially things that are big safety concerns, like car seat. There are specific cleaning instructions that we need to follow. So my husband and I do that and we double and triple check. So because we personally, if we wouldn't put our kit in it, we wouldn't rent it out.

Vanessa Ferguson:

And I have to add a note there. We just recently used you for a car seat rental on our last trip and I can attest we are not ones that like to lug our equipment with us. So we've rented from the car rental companies in the past and I am like you mentioned I don't like it when it's dirty. I'm a germaphobe as well and I was so happy because it was so clean. It was spotless compared to the ones that you get from the car rental companies. Sometimes they're clean, sometimes they're not. It just was so nice, with that peace of mind, to know that everything was great and spotless when we got it from you.

Alexa Cabal:

Yeah, we offer this consistency of you know you're going to get quality and clean products, and that is just really important to us.

Kris Johns:

You know what led you and Eric to start the business.

Alexa Cabal:

I love that question. So I work full time in human resources leadership at a company and my husband is a firefighter and we well, first of all, we talk about and have a million baby products for having a two and a half year old, so we feel very familiar with it. But we wanted to look up something that we could do together and when we heard about Baby Quick, we thought, hey, that's something we would use and we feel very comfortable in that space and we have the perfect location. We live 10 minutes from Disney property, so we already love going to Disney and other theme parks too. We have annual passes to see world of foam and we just thought this would be a really fun venture together, and we've been doing this for less than a year now and we love it.

Alexa Cabal:

So it's kind of fun to have something that we can do together, and it's nice to do a delivery at Porter Lane's Resort, for example, and then stop for breakfast and have B&As as a family before we go to our nine to five job, or I go to a nine to five job. We have the firefighting, but we get to explore different resorts as well and it just gets us up and out together as a family and it's very family friendly, naturally, this business. So it's been great meeting different customers as well and, coming from a background where I used to work for Disney, it's really nice to be able to provide that magic again in a different way and a different capacity.

Vanessa Ferguson:

And that leads right into our next question, which is we always like to find out from our guests like how do you think this service adds some magic to your customers' vacations?

Alexa Cabal:

Well, I can say, if your kid doesn't sleep, it is a problem on vacation and that is kind of a tricky thing when you have a baby or a toddler and you're traveling, because they're not in their own space, they're not in their full-size crib. Maybe you bed share, maybe you don't, but if you don't and that's not something they're used to, it's like well, do you really want to get the hotel pack and play? That is sometimes a little questionable.

Alexa Cabal:

And we have had our families tell us how amazing having a full-size crib or one of our nice staffs in that for their kids, and how helpful it was because they were able to sleep through the night and they're just, they're comfortable in it, and that is one really big thing we provide. The idea is that it's supposed to be a stress-free and a true vacation. I feel like there's a there's a difference between a vacation and a trip. Sure, and with a trip it can be very overwhelming. There's so much stuff to do and it's like you need a vacation from that vacation and it can feel very overwhelming with kids. So we try to provide these things that will ease that as much as possible.

Alexa Cabal:

So sleep solutions, the stroller like even having not having to lug around a stroller in an airport some families don't like to have one in the airport but need one for the park, so delivering stroller to them. And our stroller comes with everything we have the fans and the organizer and the the rain covers, of course, so, and we make sure that they're thoroughly seen clean in between uses. And they are. They look brand new. So that is one thing that we offer and, again, it's really just to make your vacation as stress-free as possible and tailoring to young children.

Kris Johns:

Now you mentioned all these great products, are there certain brands that you offer to parents?

Alexa Cabal:

We do. We're really particular with a lot of our brands. We like picking some of the favorites. So we have Newton, for example, for a lot of our sleep solutions. We have the opportunity to upgrade to a Newton mattress for a full-size crib, and Newton bassinet, newton pack and play, and then we also have standard pack and plays that are, you know, dream on the brand.

Alexa Cabal:

And for strollers, what we have are we have a few different brands, but some of our favorites are the side-by-side double stroller, baby jogger, which has been great for a lot of families, and then for families with babies, we have the mockingbird. We love the mockingbird as a tandem front-to-back stroller and for the babies we have a bassinet option. So that's really great if you have like two under two and you're trying to go with your four-month-olds and your two-year-olds Like well, my four-month-olds doesn't really belong in one of those regular seats for a stroller, but you also don't want a baby wear the whole time and that's a good option for our family. So we've got a lot of other products, like we have a baby Brezza for the water, instant water warmers and pumping packages. So we've really got a wide variety of things and we're constantly adding to our inventory as well.

Vanessa Ferguson:

Well, and I can say we, since we went to Florida, we also had a trip to California and we didn't have a company to rely on like what you offer. And so Kris was traveling for work, so I sent the car seat with him when he flew out three days before, and then when my daughter and I went to meet him, I was trying to lug through the airport. We do have one of those like fold down ones, but I was trying to lug the stroller, our daughter and all of the stuff through the airport, and it would have been so much easier if, where we were going, it was like when we went to Orlando and were able to run from you, because it is, it's a big headache to do, it's a big headache to try to travel and just get to your destination with all this other equipment coming along.

Alexa Cabal:

Right, and, and it's doable, you did it.

Vanessa Ferguson:

Right, but I don't want to do it again. Right, exactly, exactly.

Kris Johns:

Now, with that, you mentioned all these awesome things that you provide to parents to help them. Where can they go online to learn more?

Alexa Cabal:

Yeah, so we have our specific site on Baby Clip and we also have an Instagram page where we are constantly sharing some of the deliveries we have. We highlight certain packages and we also like to highlight some of our favorite brands and products that maybe have sales going on. So if you are even local to Orlando and you're pregnant and you want to try out a stroller before you buy it, you can run from us Right and test it out, and but most of our families are traveling from abroad, so we like to highlight different things on our Instagram page, but our Baby Clip page and we've got a link tree website and it has the links to all of those different specific sites.

Vanessa Ferguson:

Well, I will make sure to share all of those in the show notes, and I will have. I do have to say I got a chance to meet Alexa with the drop off and Eric with the pickup, and then they came right to the airport for us, and so I know they're great, they're trustworthy. We had a great experience with them too, and I'm sure all of you will as well. So thank you so much for joining us today.

Alexa Cabal:

Thank you so much. I really enjoyed it and I we really do love helping the family, so we're happy we were able to A help you and beat you, and B come on your show and talk about how we can help even more people.

Kris Johns:

Thank you again to Alexa for joining us today and remember, please check the show notes so you can get that exclusive upgrade on your next Baby Clip rental.

Vanessa Ferguson:

All right, and now we are on to our two minute trivia and our wisdom from Walt quote and Kris, you are up with trivia?

Kris Johns:

You know, we've been doing this podcast for a number of years, and so we've kind of, in my opinion, covered a lot of Disney world and Christmas related trivia.

Vanessa Ferguson:

Okay.

Kris Johns:

So the superstar that we mentioned was John Stamos, so we're going to do a little swerve.

Vanessa Ferguson:

Okay.

Kris Johns:

John. And I know, vanessa, this might be a tough one, because I don't know if you were much of a soap opera watcher.

Vanessa Ferguson:

I was not.

Kris Johns:

But John Stamos first gained recognition as Blackie Parrish on the ABC television soap opera blank, for which he was nominated for a daytime Emmy award for his outstanding supporting actor in a drama series. So what soap opera was John Stamos first on when he broke into Hollywood?

Vanessa Ferguson:

I vaguely remember somebody mentioning it, and the only one that I can think of the name of is General Hospital.

Kris Johns:

You are correct.

Vanessa Ferguson:

Wow, and I don't think I've ever watched an episode of General Hospital. But wow, very interesting. You got awesome. You don't know, I don't always get those right, so I'm glad All right. So let's wrap up the show with our quote from Walt Disney and, just thinking about the holidays and all the magic that happens at the parks, I thought this was a good one. I know we've used it in the past, but laughter is timeless, imagination has no age and dreams are forever, and we wish all of you a great holiday season. Hopefully you can get a little bit of that magic at home, even if you don't have a chance to make it to the parks. I'm really looking forward to sharing some of the pictures from these different events. We had a great time and I hope you all have a joyous holiday season as well. So thank you so much for joining us on this episode of the DisLove Podcast with Vanessa and Kris. I'm Vanessa.

Kris Johns:

And I'm Kris. This podcast is not affiliated with the Walt Disney Company or its holdings, and it is intended for entertainment purposes only.
