At a national level, Australia and China have made significant commitments on carbon emissions reductions and are actively pursuing more sustainable models of economic growth. Together, they could achieve much more. Within its milestone report into the economic opportunities from greater collaboration on the climate challenge, (The Report), Australia China Business Council sets out the scale of the challenge and highlights the many opportunities from greater collaboration with Australia’s No.1 bi-lateral trading partner, China, in the key industry sectors that will be impacted by the switch to a Green Economy.

In Episode One of the Green Channel podcast series, your host, ACBC National board member and Chair of its Net Zero Working Group, Anthony Coles, discusses the background to the Report, draws out some of the its key findings and chooses some favourite case studies from the six industry sectors covered in the following chapters of the report.
