Limitless Conversations
Centered around growth and expansion on this podcast we get into our perceived limits. Join in this conversation with our host Shawn (@authenticallyshawn) who takes you through some of her personal stories, as well as those around her.
Hi, I am Shawn and in 2020 I started to see life through a very spiritual lens. I began to see the greater purpose of things, how we arrived there, and how to overcome them. I have now decided it is time to share my experiences. As a creator, I believe everything deserves to exist here and I try my best not to have judgment for any experience that is here. I have my preference on how I live but that is not to say it is the only way. I embrace different perspectives and think we should all choose the ones that bring us to our version of peace. I challenge you the listener to consume content that brings you closer and closer to your truth. Have an open mind and hear new perspectives especially as the world is shifting. Ask yourself the question of why so you can see where you believe you are limited. Then continue on to see that those perceived limits are not TRUTH. You are limitless and this is a safe space to be that!

Welcome to another episode!
Today we are expanding our limited believes by releasing the behaviors of our parents, and our past in order to live more true and more authentically. Me and my good sis, Dr. Talanee dive into our upbringing, and how this is affected the way we show up in relationships.
Dr. Talanee talks about watching her mom’s relationship and seeing her be the strong woman and go through toxic relationships. She talks about how this connects back to her life now and how this has been allowing her the opportunity to lean more into her relationship with God. She talks about how she has ignored conversations from God ( WHICH WE ALL HAVE) and she is realizing that there may have been an easier route.
For me, I didn’t really see a relationship or partnership or marriage so I didn’t have an idea that it was something I would want. So growing up as an adult I had to decide and defined it for myself. This was a great benefit for me, however, it affects me in the sense of knowing that I can have it because I haven’t seen it in my immediate life. While I can imagine, there’s a magical and beautiful relationship and I can feel it in my spirit I have never seen it tangibly in my family to know that it has been done. So this experience for me has been quite interesting.
We both agree that we watched our parents be such strong women and this wasn’t something that we wanted to continue. We even realize that maybe our parents never wanted to do it but we’re forced to do it. This isn’t a conversation you want to miss so listen in as we EXPAND any limited BELIEFS around the PERSPECTIVE of WOMANHOOD for us
