Go & Do — A Come, Follow Me Podcast for the Youth
Discover Come, Follow Me insights designed specifically for Latter-day Saint youth! This isn’t your typical Sunday School Come, Follow Me lesson. Each week, we explore gospel doctrines and principles that matter most to today’s young disciples of Christ. Learn how to apply the Savior’s teachings in your daily life, deepen your connection with Him, and gain practical tools to navigate life’s challenges with faith. Every episode wraps up with a powerful “Go & Do Challenge” to help you take meaningful steps toward becoming more like Christ.
Hosted by Candis Shupe. Candis taught seminary and institute for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints for 13 years, online religion at BYU-Idaho for 7 years, and countless sessions of Especially For Youth.

Serpents Really Do Talk
When life hits hard, how do you keep your heart cheerful and your head wise? 🕊️🐍
In this week’s Go & Do, Candis Shupe explores D&C 111–114 from “treasure” that actually means people, to the Savior’s call to be “wise as serpents and harmless as doves.” After a heavy few weeks, this episode shows how to find peace, choose what matters, and move forward with real faith.
You’ll take away:
1️⃣ Treasure people > stuff: Why the Lord’s “treasure” (D&C 111) is relationships and how to value them daily.
2️⃣ How to get answers: “Concern not yourselves… tarry and inquire” (D&C 111) simple, practical steps to pray, wait, and discern.
3️⃣ Be wise and kind: What “wise as serpents, harmless as doves” looks like at school, online, and at home plus how to share glad tidings like the early Saints (D&C 114:1).
Come for the scriptures, stay for the hope. Let’s go and do—with good cheer, clear guidance, and Christ at the center. 🎧✨
