What kind of Israelite would you have been? This week on Go & Do, Candis Shupe invites you to step into the story, not as a reader, but as one of the unnamed Israelites standing at the edge of the Red Sea.

In this episode, you’ll explore:
🌊 What it means to “stand still and see the salvation of the Lord” and how to trust God when your own Red Sea feels impossible
🎶 Why the Israelites sang after deliverance and how gratitude and worship can change the way we experience the Sabbath
💛 The power of your role in God’s work why every calling, every act of faith, and every effort to sustain the prophet truly matters

From crossing on dry ground to gathering manna, from healing bitter waters to holding up Moses’s arms, this story reminds us that God’s miracles often come after we choose faith. So here’s the question: What are you doing as the “unnamed Israelite” in your own story? This episode invites you to stop complaining, stand still in faith, sing with joy, and remember that your small acts of obedience help move God’s work forward.

Go & Do Challenge

  • Turn things over to the Lord, stand still at your Red Sea and have faith He will deliver you, because you are following the prophet
  • Sing joyfully – we all can do this! Make Sabbath a JOY!
  • Stop complaining and looking for things to complain about, and move forward diligently
  • Follow the prophet, sustain him, by fulfilling your calling
