Sean Michael Crane's Unstoppable Mindset
Building a Seven-Figure Coaching Empire
What separates the coaching businesses that make real impact from those that just chase clout? Sean Crane takes us behind the scenes of his journey from rock bottom to building a seven-figure coaching empire—without the flashy cars or endless money talk that dominate the industry.
Sean's transformation began in the most unlikely of places: a prison cell. Facing a potential life sentence while battling addiction, he hit absolute rock bottom before committing to rebuild himself through daily discipline, education, and a relentless pursuit of growth. The profound shifts he experienced within those walls sparked a realization that would become his life's mission: "If I could feel this alive in here, imagine what I will do out there."
Upon release, Sean was startled by how many people were sleepwalking through life—complaining about jobs, relationships, and circumstances they'd created themselves. This observation fueled his passion to help others experience the same transformative awakening he'd found. Unlike many coaches who prioritize appearance over impact, Sean built his business on genuine care and authentic messaging. "Your vibe attracts your tribe," he explains, revealing how even with minimal followers, he connected with clients who deeply resonated with his mission.
The evolution from solo coach to leading a 15-person organization with doctors, dieticians, and specialized coaches unfolds as Sean shares his strategic hiring decisions—starting with operations support and gradually expanding to create Unstoppable 365, which now serves high-level entrepreneurs and business owners. His vision is crystal clear: to build the premier health and fitness company for business owners in America by addressing root causes rather than masking symptoms.
Ready to create a coaching business that stands the test of time? This episode delivers the blueprint for building something meaningful in an industry often focused on surface-level success. The world needs more authentic leaders willing to step up—and Sean's story shows exactly what that can look like.
I've never been that guy.
Speaker 1:I want to change some fucking lives.
Speaker 1:I want to make an impact on this world. For me, it's not just online coaching. I think a lot of these guys look like fucking clowns and it's very obvious to me that they care more about how they look than actually changing people's lives. And I felt so alive and so on fire in that tiny little cell. I thought to myself damn, if I could feel this in here, imagine what I could have felt and done out there. Imagine what I will do out there.
Speaker 1:Welcome back to another episode of the Unstoppable Mindset Podcast. I'm your host, sean Crane. Hey, check it out. If you're an online coach, if you're in the coaching space, if you're on social media putting out content and you want to build a business online, I'm going to share with you exactly what I've done to build a seven figure business and beyond, and share with you guys all the value, all the strategies, all the hires, all the moves that I've made over the past five years to go from a guy with no money, no clients, to a guy with thousands of clients, millions of dollars and I'm just getting started Now.
Speaker 1:A lot of people online. They talk about this a lot right what I've done to build a seven-figure business. They're driving Lambos. People just want to flash. I've never been that guy. I want to change some fucking lives. I want to make an impact on this world. For me, it's not just online coaching. I see what's happening in the political space. I see what's happening with the awareness that people are generating the collective consciousness, as some people call it. I'm truly out there to make an impact and I'm authentic and I'm fucking genuine and that's why my brand stands out. Like, I don't like making videos about money. I don't like, you know, lambos and chains and all that shit. I think a lot of these guys look like fucking clowns and it's very obvious to me that they care more about how they look than actually changing people's lives. That's why I'm going to outlast all them and that's why I'm going to build the most successful coaching business in the country, and I'm doing that right now.
Speaker 1:So at the core of what I do, it's always been to impact lives. That's first and foremost, before the money, before what I get out of it, before how I look, my content, my fucking watch it's the impact that my client, the person on the other end of my coaching receives. That transformation to me is so personal, it's so profound. That's why I do what I do, and I started coaching people in prison. I started coaching guys all around me who were drawn and attracted to me because I was changing my life.
Speaker 1:I was working out every day. Before everyone was getting up, you know, I was out on the track running miles like a madman in a hundred degree weather. I was reading the fricking dictionary because I wanted to learn, you know. And then I was taking college courses, and then I was reading books on the side and I was just doing everything and anything I could to develop myself. And that's when guys started reaching out. They're like hey, I want to work out with Ukraine. Hey, what books are you reading? Hey, dude, I see you taking college courses. Why the heck are you doing that? And it gave me the opportunity to spend time with these guys and share with them and coach them and mentor them.
Speaker 1:And that's when I realized that I wanted to be of service to the world. I wanted to be a coach and I want to make an impact in other people's lives. Because you have to understand, the shift that I went through was so profound, going from someone who was so hopeless, who was battling addiction, who was this close to losing his life. Then I get thrown in a jail cell telling me that I might spend the rest of my life in there, like can you imagine what a dark place I was in at that time? And there was no hope, there was no light at the end of the tunnel. And then God intervened in my life and I committed to a life of sobriety, a life of excellence, and I started fighting each and every day to rebuild myself. And that's when I started to feel this powerful shift inside of me and I started to feel gratitude and love and joy and optimism. And I just became this man on a mission for redemption. And I felt so alive and so on fire in that tiny little cell and I thought to myself damn, if I could feel this in here, imagine what I could have felt and done out there, imagine what I will do out there. And it was that thought and feeling that pulled me through those five and a half years and it helped me to start radically transforming my life.
Speaker 1:And so when I came home, I was shocked to see how many people were taking this gift for granted, how many people had just settled. You know I'd see guys from high school and now they're fat. You know they're drinking every day, doing the same shit they were when they were 16. They're working jobs that they'd complain about. They complain about their wives, they complain about their kids. I'm like, damn dude, like you're complaining about the life that you've created. Don't you realize that? And I just saw zombies all around me just going through the motions in life. They were jaded, they had given up, they had tapped out already and I thought this is crazy, man. These people have so much life left to live. Don't they realize what a precious gift they have? And I wanted nothing more than to replicate the transformation I went through in my jail cell in as many lives as possible.
Speaker 1:At the core of what I do whether it's speaking on stages, speaking to you on my podcast, writing my book, even the messages I give to my kids every day in the morning or at night before bed you know, at the core of what I do, it's to see other people, to get to a place in life that I've been able to experience, and I'm still fighting every day to experience this feeling. You know it's something that you have to earn, you have to have daily routines and habits and a mindset and you have to go after your goals and you have to push to achieve your dreams. That's what keeps me alive. That's why I do it each and every day. So building my coaching business was just an extension of myself.
Speaker 1:If you want to build a brand that stands out, you got to be authentic. There's so many corny, lame fucking coaches out there that are doing the same thing. They see other people doing and they all blend in and they all look the same. You might make a couple thousand dollars getting clients here and there, but are you going to build something real, something that lasts, something that impacts? I'm not here to make a couple thousand bucks and change a couple guys lives so I can post about on social media. I want to change millions of lives. I want to change the world, and so the way I'm doing that is number one. You have to have that genuine desire to help people. That has to be the core. You have to be authentic. You got to build a brand that stands out and resonates with people, and the way you do that is you just work on yourself and you be truthful and honest and the right people are going to be drawn to you.
Speaker 1:So if you're doing online coaching, don't try to be like Joe Blow. Don't try to be like this guy. Success leaves clues and you can see what other people are doing and what these influencers or top guys in the industry are doing. But be yourself, be true to what you believe in, what you want to achieve in your life, what you like, what you don't like, and you know what they say. Your vibe attracts your tribe. The right people are going to start to be drawn to your message over time, and so I've just shared so much content online for so many years that I've just started to get so many individuals reaching out and following me and asking for help.
Speaker 1:And it doesn't matter how many followers you have or how many views you get. If you get a lot of views from the right people, obviously that's a good thing, but it matters how many people really are drawn to your message and want to work with you. Even when I had like a thousand followers on Facebook or Instagram, I was helping hundreds of people and making a lot of money and building my business, you know, and I realized, wow, okay, it's not about having a million followers. It's about having 10,000 individuals that'll pay you to hire you, that really want to work with you because they feel your message You've already changed their lives with your message and they want to go on that path that you've proven works. And so that's what I did for the first three, four years. It's just posting content online.
Speaker 1:I wrote my book, I was speaking on stages, I was building my brand, I was putting in the work, you know, three, four years of traveling every other weekend, putting out content every single day, having coaching calls with guys like messages, thousands, millions of messages to this point, back and forth in the DMs. And so I got to a point where, okay, I had built a seven figure business, I had started to build somewhat of a name for myself. I had spoken on stages. You know, I got paid to speak and travel, and I was doing all these things I wanted to do. But I realized, in order to hit that next level, I had to do it with other individuals who are like-minded. I had to build a team. I had to build a real company, not just Sean the hustler, the coach, right, trying to figure it out as he goes. We have, we have to go through all these steps, but that's when I realized, okay, I want to build a world-class team of coaches, of individuals, that can help me take it to the next level, because I aspire to change a billion lives. I aspire to build a billion dollar company. My company Unstoppable 365, will be the number one health and fitness company for business owners in America. I guarantee you that. That's the goal, that's what me and my team are going for, and we will pull it off. I've called every shot I've called, I've manifested into reality. Nobody's doing what we're, and so, in order to build the team that I built, I'm going to share with you who those individuals are and what order I hired them and why that was so significant at the time.
Speaker 1:So the first person I hired was my COO, which is a chief operating officer. In fact, he reached out for coaching via Facebook because he saw my content all day long, all day long saw me growing and was like, damn, like, I see what Sean's doing. I'm going to reach out and hire him. And he hired me at first just to show him the social media stuff I was doing, how I was building my coaching business, and then our relationship turned from him being a client to him asking me questions about business, me understanding more about his business. As far as the tech stuff, the automations, all the computer shit for lack of better term, and that's not my forte I like to speak, I'm passionate, I like to coach people. I don't want to be sitting here dilly dallying on a fucking computer all day, right, and you know the tech stuff's important. You got to have systems in place, you got to have automations, you got to have all that to be running like a well-oiled machine. So I hired him and that was the first person I brought into my company.
Speaker 1:The next person I brought in was my coach, matt Fleming. He's one of my coaches and the reason for that is because I needed help. I wanted to make sure that all my clients were getting the right coaching, the right follow-up, they were getting the fulfillment they needed. We were holding them to a high standard and giving them everything they needed to achieve their results. So I brought in that coach. Right, and for any of you who are doing online coaching right now, hiring another coach is probably going to be the first person that you want to hire, and for that, for the reason that they can help you. They can do the fulfillment. That'll free you up to create content and do sales. What you do is you give them a rev share. You give them 25% of profits or or a percentage of the clients that they're looking after for you. Okay, with my COO I did a similar thing. I gave him a rev share to start, which is just a percentage of profits, and then from there I started adding other team members VAs for outbound messaging. You know VAs to help us with administrative stuff. You know lots of VAs to help with just the day-to-day tasks of running the business.
Speaker 1:And then, more recently, I brought in Dr J, who's a legitimate doctor who does blood work. He can prescribe things like peptides. He does hormonal replacement therapy. He can take any individual on the planet, help them become a healthier version of themselves. And you know a lot of doctors just give you pills and they're bought out by the pharmaceutical company, so they just mask the symptoms with these pills that they tell you need. Well, what we're doing is we're alleviating the actual problems people are having, not just addressing the symptoms. We're fixing them right. We're identifying the root cause and, through Dr J's practice of blood work and supplementation, diet, nutrition, all the stuff we teach. We're helping people really get healthier, like not just mask the symptoms, and so that's been the coolest thing is bringing in a doctor, then a dietician, then other coaches, and now we have 15 team members that are helping me to fulfill the vision.
Speaker 1:And it's evolved over time. Like when I first started, it was just me, you know, kind of being a hard ass with my clients, talking a little shit, getting them fired up. I want to see these guys take action, I want to see them take control of their lives, and so my message was just direct, it was aggressive, it was focused, there was profanity, there was drive, there was passion behind my message. And now it's evolved into a very professional organization where we have doctors, dieticians, all these experts, you know, and we're working with seven, eight, nine figure business owners and entrepreneurs, because they see that we have the premium quality product out there. And I tell people all the time, like, when it comes to your health, you want to hire you know the cheapest product or do you want to hire a product that is going to get you the best health that you could possibly have in your life? Like that's the difference, right? And so you guys watch what we do.
Speaker 1:In the next half a decade and decade, unstoppable 365 will be the number one health and fitness program in the country. It's already in the works. I'm manifesting it. I'm working towards it right now, relentlessly, every single day. If you guys want more content about coaching, online coaching, fitness, how I've scaled my business in more detail, I'd be happy to do some of that content. It's not something I talk about a lot because I'm just not excited to share to other coaches about how to be a coach, but I want to provide value. So if this episode was valuable for you, shoot me a message. Like I said, share it with somebody that needs to hear it and go out there and build your empire. Man, I want that for you. A lot of people need you right now. A lot of people need coaches, they need help, they need guidance and we need more real leaders to step it up.
