Sean Michael Crane's Unstoppable Mindset

The Mentorship Blueprint That Built a 7-Figure Business

Sean Michael Crane Episode 144

The difference between stalled dreams and explosive growth can be a single question: How can I? We open up the real blueprint behind turning a borrowed $5,200 mentor payment after prison into multi-seven figures, a national coaching brand, and client wins that change families. No fluff—just the mindset that moves walls, the strategies that print results, and the proof that purpose multiplies everything it touches.

We walk through the engine behind a modern online business: high-signal content that earns attention, simple funnels that convert leads, and delivery that creates transformations people want to talk about. You’ll hear how exposure to the right rooms fast-tracked the process—events, mentors, and operators who turned ambition into systems. Along the way, we revisit the core numbers that matter for sustainable scale: content output, booked calls, show rate, close rate, lifetime value, and churn. When you track the right metrics and commit to daily publishing, you don’t just hustle—you compound.

The highlight is Matt Friedman’s journey from uncertainty to a clear lane serving busy professionals with social media and content strategy. In roughly six months, he crossed $1M by executing the same seven-figure blueprint: consistent content, compelling offers, direct response funnels, and rigorous follow-up. That win isn’t a one-off; it’s a repeatable system that can scale to eight figures with disciplined hiring and operational depth. We tie everything back to purpose, because entrepreneurship, personal development, and mission form a flywheel: the more you grow, the more you serve, and the more your life expands.

Oh, I just can't do that. And that thought process right there is why you're stuck and you're never going to achieve your goals. When I came out of prison, I never once thought about what I couldn't do. It was always how can I? How can I get that money? How can I hire that mentor? How can I get to that event? How can I build these relationships with these powerful individuals that I can learn and grow with? It was always how can I? The guy who thinks how can I is always gonna find a way. The guy who says I can't, you'll never find a way. It's all mindset, you guys. My dreams are continuing to get bigger and expand because I'm seeing what's possible, because I'm taking action, I'm getting that life experience. And once you get that experience and that exposure, what happens in your mind is you start to dream bigger. Welcome back to another episode of the Unstoppable Mindset Podcast. I'm your host, Sean Crane. Hey, check it out. If you're an online coach, if you're someone leveraging social media, building a business, you know, getting leads, doing all the stuff that we do to market our product or our brand online, this message is for you. And if you know somebody that's doing those things, share this message with them. Subscribe to the channel, promote your boy. Let's go out and change the world together. You guys, I've been on this journey of entrepreneurship, of online coaching, of speaking, uh, social media marketing for about five years now. When I first started, all I had was a heart of gold and a desire to change lives, man. And I saw these individuals using social media to promote themselves, grow their businesses online, make a bunch of money, make a bunch of impact, and I thought, wow, that's exactly what I want to do. So I went all in. I went all in, I hired mentors, I spent tens, if not hundreds, of thousands of dollars to this point on personal development, on business development, on events, on mentorship, on getting in the right rooms, learning the right strategies, hiring marketing companies, trying to figure out systems, hiring my operations manager, building my company, building my business, and it's been an incredible journey. You know, and about two years ago, I started having more and more people reach out asking me, Sean, what are you doing online to grow your business? By that point, I had already hit multiple seven figures. I was changing lives all over the country. I was progressively improving the quality of life from my family and myself. And I had a blueprint, I had a path that I was on that was working. You know, I created this machine, right? It was awesome. Like I had worked so hard, so freaking hard to get to that point where I can make life-changing money and do what I've always wanted to do, which was impact lives and change lives the way my life was so drastically transformed when I was in prison. And I was doing it. I was seeing guys lose a hundred pounds, guys overcome depression, guys get sober, guys become dedicated fathers and parents, guys grow their businesses. Like I was seeing the transformations take place before my eyes, and it was so fulfilling. Because here I was, just this broken-down individual from a background of addiction, from a family that was distraught and just ruined through addiction, and then going to prison and facing life in prison ultimately to make a decision to change my life and fight every day to enact that change. You know, and fast forward, you know, 13 years now from that moment I decided to change my life, it has changed and transformed drastically. And last year I attended an event in Marco Island, Florida, and I spoke at that event and I shared my testimony. And I brought my family on stage and I told the whole crowd this is why I do what I do. And I pointed to each and every one of them, and I said, I also do it because I want to see that change take side take place inside of you that took place in my life because I know how incredible that can feel. And uh the MC of the event, Matt Friedman, he reached out to me after and he said, Man, I love your passion. It's incredible what you've built. Like, that's what I want to do. There's something inside of me that's calling me to do, create, you know, achieve more in this life. I just don't know what that looks like. And if you guys don't know who Matt Friedman is, you can Google him right now, type it in just the way I shared. He's an incredible human being, a great father, great husband, a very talented musician. Like this guy's voice is incredible. He's he's got like that country accent to him. He's just got some, I guess the word is like swag, some style, some charisma. And I thought it was really cool to be able to mentor him and work with him. So he signed up to work with me last year, and we were trying to figure out what is that path for him. You know, he was seeking clarity, which a lot of you are, whether it's in business or life. You're looking for that path. What am I supposed to do? What is that change? And there's always an element of fear. Like, what if I go for it and I fail? Or what if I go for it and that's not the right thing? And what I tell you is each false step or each failure is one step closer towards where you're actually going to end up and where you want to be. And so don't be scared to fail. Fail forward and fail as many times as it takes to get to that place where you're achieving your goals and you're living in alignment. Okay. Um, and so after working with Matt about six months, he figured out what he wanted to do from a professional standpoint, and that was provide social media marketing strategies, content strategies for busy professionals. Okay. Real estate, lawyers, uh, you know, people in the corporate world, uh, entrepreneurs, small business owners, whatever it was, he was able to then take their message, craft it through content, uh, and reach more people, so create exposure for them to generate leads. And those leads turned into what dollar signs, money, clients. And so he's been doing that for almost a year now. But I saw him just this past weekend in Florida. Okay, it was the year anniversary from the event I met him at. And he came up to me. He's like, dude, we're killing it, Sean. Thank you so much for your help, man. My company just eclipsed a million dollars in less than six in about six months, using the exact strategies and blueprint you taught me. We've done over seven figures, and now we have a seven-figure blueprint that we can consistently execute on. I was like, damn, dude, that's incredible. Like that, like I don't know. Like, I've helped guys lose 100 pounds. I've helped guys overcome cirrhosis and depression and suicidal thoughts and ideation. You know, I've seen people transform their lives in so many ways. But knowing that he and his company that he's now built made a million dollars in six months using the exact strategies I taught him, I was like, wow, that's life-changing. Because it's not just a million dollars one time. This is something that he can continuously do, and it's probably gonna scale and grow from here. You know, in five years from now, I'll probably be doing five, ten million a year. And that's the power, you guys, of mentorship. Okay. I remember when I hired my first mentor, it's$5,200. I just got out of prison. I didn't have the money, I had to borrow it, but I didn't care about the restrictions or the resistance or the roadblocks. Like most often people hear a number and they're like, oh, I can't do that. Especially when it comes to investing into a business coach or a mentor that's gonna help you in your life. Oh, I just can't do that. And that thought process right there is why you're stuck and you're never gonna achieve your goals. And so I remember when I hired my mentor, he taught me a seven-figure blueprint. And over time, it turned into a million dollars. And since then, it's turned into millions of dollars because I have the blueprint. A$5,200 investment has turned into millions and millions of dollars. And not just money, but impact, potential, purpose, like limitless growth. My mindset, my vision, my goals, my dreams are continuing to get bigger and expand because I'm seeing what's possible, because I'm taking action, I'm getting that life experience. And once you get that experience and that exposure, what happens in your mind is you start to dream bigger. You go, wow, you know, I achieved X, Y, and Z. I achieved that goal this year, this financial goal. I hit that stage. You know, I built my company to this level. And immediately your brain starts thinking about what else can I do? And it's such an intoxicating, exciting journey to be on. That's why I love entrepreneurship so much. Entrepreneurship, personal development, purpose, it's the greatest life you can experience. Those three, right? That concoction, that formula, is how you find yourself feeling so elevated and inspired on a daily basis. And so I just want to give a shout out to my client, Matt Friedman, seeing him go from somebody who felt stuck and stagnant to now having a clear path towards a purpose-driven life where you can make enough money, where money's not an issue. You can change lives, you can help other people grow their businesses and do the same for their families and make a massive impact. I love that. That's why I coach, that's why I mentor. And honestly, I'm not a coach for coaches. Like, I don't want to go out there and teach everyone my blueprint. Certain individuals reach out to me, and if it makes sense and we have a connection, I'm gonna help them. I want to show them the way. You know, but what I'm doing right now is I'm building my company, Unstoppable 365, number one health and performance program for blue collar business owners nationwide. I'm all in. My vision's crystal clear. God put a message on my heart, and I'm sharing it with the world, and we're just getting started.
