EP 20/Super Sessions 01: An Evening of Warmth, Community and Climate Pathfinding With Saad Amer and Kristy Drutman (Part 1)

Season 2 Episode 4

Welcome to our first  Super Session!!! Super Sessions is a quarterly event series, centering the sharing of physical space in warm and reflective community.
This episode is a live recording of the event, hosted at  Cara Marie Piazza’s studio in NYC.

What does it look like to share collective reflections, perspectives, tools, and dreams of a joyful world of climate work irl?

This episode is a beautiful celebration of the core values of Supersede – bringing together diverse voices and highlighting the reality that there is no singular path towards climate transformation. Saad, Kristy, and Madeleine each share reflections on their climate superpowers and the journeys that have led them to this work -- all different perspectives and journeys together in conversation.

We cover:
- How to find mentors and cultivate support systems
- The ways that journeys take many forms
- The realities of navigating being paid fairly for our work
- Connecting to the global fights for environmental justice
- Concrete advice for listeners on finding their climate superpowers
