This is the podcast that broadcasts the sermon series preached by Rev. Dick Iverson at Bible Temple in Portland, Oregon. In the 1960s, '70s, and '80s, those sermons were distributed around the world in the form of cassette tapes. They made a very significant contribution to church plants and pastors and served as an equipping resource for many. Roxy Iverson has retained digital copies of these sermon series, making it possible to broadcast them in the form of podcast episodes. Welcome to episode 150 of the podcast. This is the final episode of “The Sermons of Dick Iverson.” It had long been my dream to make the core teachings of Pastor Iverson readily available to anyone who might be interested. In episode 149, I published Pastor Iverson’s “Testimony.” With this last episode, I am providing the personal testimony of Dick’s long-time partner in life and ministry, Edie Iverson. Dick and Edie were married for 60 years, and made a great impact on the Church, preparing thousands of young students for pastoral leadership.
