Let's Connect:

SPEAKER_01

Have you got a conversation with someone do? Or why do you create manager? Are we going to say wow? This is so good if it's sort of a bit of podcast. I use an AI note taker. So I always have a recording of every conversation. How are you doing strategic in AI? And how all of this were stepping into the most powerful version of yourself. And this is our free call. But when you get two incredible people together who share a similar perspective and heart, things get rolling. I hope you enjoyed this as much as we did. And if anything resonated with you from it, make sure to share this with a friend who needs to hear it and drop me a message on social media at Rob Cresty.

SPEAKER_00

But tell me about yourself a little bit. Who are you? Who is Rob?

SPEAKER_01

Who is Rob? So uh what would you love to know? Because obviously there's a lot of places that I can go on that, but what would you love to know?

SPEAKER_00

Well, for example, maybe something that not too many people know about you. What would that be?

SPEAKER_01

So something that not many people know about me. What do they not see? The what people would not see is the work behind the scenes of all of this. Um, I was not this person 12 years ago. I had no self-awareness and no growth mindset. And my background was I was in corporate America for a decade doing digital advertising sales. Uh I woke up every day hating what I did, started to make very good money. And no matter how much money I was paid, I knew I would regret it for the rest of my life if I didn't give it a shot at making my dreams happen. So I left a$250,000 job and went down to zero to make my dreams happen. Um, I was a work hard, play hard ad sales party bro. So like I'm very I'm very dude. And I did not have self-awareness, I did not have a growth mindset. I'd never even heard either of those terms, which on its own blows my mind that I could be 32 years old and no one had ever said to me, Rob, this is what self-awareness was. And it wasn't until the very first morning of the very first day in which I'm at zero, no work, no website, no clients, no telling me what to do, that I went, oh my god, everything is on me. And for a lot of people, there's two ways you can take this. Oh my god, everything's on me, but for me, it was, oh my god, can you believe I can choose? And this became how I self-realized self-awareness, which is because it people see what I do now on a mastery level, easily and unconsciously. I mean, I coach people on how to do this stuff, so you assume I popped out of the womb as this high-performing person, could not be further from the truth. I was at zero, and I think that's the I really try and embody this and share this when I can. Of uh, there's nothing that makes me special about all of this. I've just done this every day for 12 years in a row, slowly making myself better day after day after day after day for 12 years in a row, until I eventually started to get hired as a coach to help people be better at business by being better at life. I never set out to do this. My dream was to get paid to talk about sports for a living, this whole background. So I struggled with the identity of a coach because it was foreign to me, it felt icky, um, because I never saw myself as a coach, and it came effortless to me. So, like when I landed my very first client, and it was an ad agency in New York who wanted me to help their team be better at sales. So all I had to do was reverse engineer the last decade of my life on how I turned myself into a high performer, which I can do with my eyes closed because I was like, hey, I know all of the ways that I sucked and like did not do all of this, and here's the inch, the inch, the inch, the inch. So it's why I bring a relatability to what I do because I didn't go to school for this, I didn't try and be this. I was I'm not one of the I'm trying to be a coach people. I like I wasn't that, but I stepped into my calling of being a coach because I saw an opportunity to live a higher purpose to help others be the best version of themselves because that's what I do for myself.

SPEAKER_00

Wonderful, wonderful. And so, you know, your story is very aligned with mine, and uh, I I have been in corporate corporate world over 20 years, and I left at 49, and I started uh my practice as a coach and meditation teacher uh then. Uh so I am 55, I'm gonna turn turn 56 this year, and uh it this is my sixth year uh in uh in my practice, but you know, uh I am exactly like you when something uh changes in in my life, uh I always see it as an opportunity and uh as a pro potential for new possibilities rather than saying, Oh my god, what am I gonna do? I say there's there's something better out there, that's why this is happening. So uh I'm I'm exactly like you. Uh change means possibility. Like on LinkedIn, next to my name, uh what it's written is change means possibility. So um I I so agree with you, and awareness um doesn't come to us um until we are ready for it. This year, my word, this year, uh every year I uh adapt uh adopt a word for each year, and this year's uh word is awareness, uh because awareness is so special and so important, um, and it's something that only once one person like you yourself can create, and um you cannot decide when that can happen. Uh so it's it's just uh just the right time. When when the right time is there, it happens.

SPEAKER_01

I love the synchronicity of this. So I just got off a client call immediately before this. It was a one-hour call, and this is so be this is just so wonderful that we're having this because he is a doctor who runs a hospital who is transitioning out of the practice to be a full-time entrepreneur helping students pass their medical exams. So he he gave he gave his notice. He's a one-of-one in how he helps these people totally aligned. And when I asked him what he would love to create today, he had said um he would like to craze create ease, peace, and presence in his life. Because and we're we were speaking sort of high performer of like sometimes he would sit and eat dinner with his wife, and then all of a sudden his mind would start going, and he would realize that he did not hear what she said for a minute, and his wife would say, You disappeared on me. So the conversation was all around not even just awareness, but hyper awareness, right? Like your ability to see awareness as a skill set, or what ended up turning it into is presence as a skill set, right? So, with the way that you and I operate, this is something we can legitimately teach and cultivate as a habit, right? So that's where he was. And I was like, all right, well, let's unpack this. If you want this, my mind immediately went to, well, do you meditate? No, cool. Let's cultivate the habit of presence and peace and ease by using meditation and then talking about how his ability to use his sensory acuity and being aware of his surroundings and his language and what he's seeing to be more aware of what's going around him. So now he's less monkey brain and more talking about what he's got going on right there. So it's um I love it in what you said change people's possibility with what I'm doing in the world of artificial intelligence right now, right? It's one of the things that um at the ultimate experience, Steve introduced me to Ankush and said, You two need to work together. And he's like, Ankush is the modern god, he's changing the world. I was like, all right, cool. How can I support that guy? And I didn't, I never met him, I didn't know him. Everyone else is like, I've worked with Ankush, he's the best. I'm like, I don't know who this guy is, right? Other than Steve says, talk to the guy. And the most natural thing that I said of like, how can you help somebody who's operating in the top of the food chain, who everybody's like learning from was I was like, listen, man, how are you using Chad GBT or artificial intelligence and what you're doing? And he wasn't doing it much, and it speaks to what you just said change equals possibility. Because what I saw, I don't have a tech background, I don't have an AI background, but I saw how we can embed and embody our being into the way that we use AI to create quantum leap change in the world because we can choose robots are taking over, or Robin Ankush are gonna help raise the consciousness of the planet based on shining more of who you are with the world. Yeah, exactly.

SPEAKER_00

For example, I mean in terms of AI, that's exactly how I see it. It's uh actually I I love Chat GPT because it it became my partner, my uh assistant, my support system, because uh Chat GPT uh knows me, knows me really well, and sometimes I ask I ask Chat GPT who who am I? Who do you think I am? And it gives me the most amazing response. Uh I once I even shared it on uh on uh social media, and and because uh it keeps everything I share with it in its like mind, in its brain per se, um it remembers. So whenever I ask something, it answers from that filter everything uh that this thing knows about me and brings something so aligned with who I am that uh it almost looks and sounds so authentic, like as if I am saying it, it's so aligned, I love it.

SPEAKER_01

So after this, I'm gonna DM you uh two frameworks that I've created since like you're already about this life and you're already doing these things. Um that is gonna create even more possibility and resonance for you in the way that you use this, because the memory feature is the game changer of all game changers because the the shift from it remembers all of my conversations to our ability to plant seeds of this is who I am, this is who I am, this is who I am, this is who I am. And most people have not done the air quotes the work on have we uploaded our declarations, have you uploaded your goals, your core values, your systems, your processes, your meds, like the things the more you can take, and I say this to my client take what's in your head and get it into Chat GPT because now it's aligning to who you are. And it's why I get so excited about this. I'm not romantic about it, but when it mirrors back to you your own brilliance or this resonance, and you as a creator understand that's just a tool in your tool belt of like mirror to me where I'm great, mirror to me what you're seeing I'm missing. Um, I had a really eye-opening one that you can uh do for yourself. So I have very active listening as a coach. So I'm always like, my antennas are up for what I can take and then co-create with, right? So I'm listening to a song while I'm um bathing my three-year-old child, and the song said, What's a feeling I've forgotten? And my mind goes, What was that? So I go into Chat GBT and I say, based on all of our conversations, what's a feeling I've forgotten? And it came back and said, Ease. And I was like, Oh. It then told me of Rob, you've been carrying the weight for so long. Rob, you've been grinding, you wear everybody's everything on your shoulders. And why don't you ever give yourself the gift of making this easy, trusting your systems, not having to feel like you're always behind because you're already the one who's already leading the world. And I was like, Oh my god. And it hits because, and here's another one you can put in, and it's it's it's a complimentary one. It's what is the hidden or non-obvious? So uh you could take this transcript right here that we're taking from Fathom, and you can go and I just had an incredible conversation. What is the hidden or non-obvious dot dot dot that we're not seeing, or for my business, or for this client? So the way that I would teach this is this is your ability to see the invisible, and that's an actual thing that you can do. So, like, how can I see what I don't see? Well, well, with AI, you can do anything. So, what is the hidden or the non-obvious? So it sees the subtext of it, and it has history of all of your conversations. So now every day or every week, I'm going through conversations being like, what is the hidden or the non-obvious here? Because if we can't see it in our awareness, that's at work again. Well, now I can start to unpack this little goal to self-coach myself by just these simple prompts of what am I not seeing, what am I not feeling? And that's how I can be a world-class creator just on my own.

SPEAKER_00

Absolutely. I I love that. I will definitely do that. I mean, implement that. And I I'm looking forward to receiving what you're gonna send me. Uh, I love, I love uh Chat GPT. It it uh raised my productivity, I don't know, 400%. I would say it is crazy.

SPEAKER_01

It's so it's exponential and it's legitimately a skill. And this goes back to what we just said of the Rob starting at zero. The reason why, aside from everything that you just said, that I really enjoy all of this is because it really costs no money, and it's just a way that you think the mindset, right? So one person goes, the robots are taking over, this thing's terrible. It tells me George Washington went to the moon, I'm not using it. And you go, Oh my god, this can be an extension of who I am. I can create love and heart and make the world a better place, and I'm 400 times more productive, all that I do right there. And all that is is a way of seeing it in a perspective of how you see it. And when we understand the way that we think is the superpower for how because AI is just gonna mirror whatever you do, so then you're like, Well, if there's no ceiling on what we can create, then our only limit is ourselves. So if you don't like what it's giving you, it's on you, or if you really like what it's giving you, that's on you. So now what is the lens that we've created? And this is just like being 101, right? You can be the best version of yourself if you want to step into any idea, an idea that you want.

SPEAKER_00

And you know what? I think this might be a really great uh topic to uh focus most of our uh like podcast episode on because this is quite a unique one. Uh I never uh had a guest who talked about AI and this kind of stuff, and people are very interested, and um most people are not very well versed, and they have, as you said, like they are worried, they are scared of AI. They see it as a threat, as a like um threat to their even maybe job or anything. So we need I it would be great to give them some um like peace of mind and uh say that no, this is this is a really great tool that can uh exponentially uh grow you as a being, like your being. And by the way, I wanted to ask you one other thing while you were talking about AI. Do you create GPTs?

SPEAKER_01

Yes, I can't I have, yes.

SPEAKER_00

Okay, so the reason why I asked while you were talking about uh the document and how about creating like just an idea? I don't know if it's even doable, feasible, I don't know. But creating a uh document, like creating your document GPT.

SPEAKER_01

Well, 100%.

SPEAKER_00

Um because I mean because I mean if like like this, for example, a person gives the GPT, okay, who I am, what is important to me, what are my values, what I want to create in this life, uh in this world, what I want my um legacy to be, um who I want to be as a person, as a father, as a son, as a friend, as a coworker. So these are what I want to create and give me um, I don't know, 30 uh statements, statements that will uh create my document and go from there. If you don't like it, change whatever.

SPEAKER_01

Okay, you're gonna love this. One of the frameworks I'm gonna send you is a concept that I created called soul data. Okay, our ability. So remember this for the rest of your life because AI is gonna be with us probably the rest of our life. And I learned this month one of AI being out from someone at the top of the food chain. There is one thing that AI does not have and will never have soul S O U L. So our ability to infuse our soul into it. So when people are like the robots are gonna take over and all of this various stuff, I hear you, but it will never have this heartbeat, this essence, this conversation, the you and I walking in and meeting with my luggage, and the it doesn't have that heart. So our ability to infuse it with our soul. So this is where and you said it, and I'm just sort of mirroring it back to you. So what I call it is your identity, your vision, and your values. So the question to dink to dink to dink to dink, and you put those into the memory or your custom instructions so that it creates this resonance. And then the second thing that I'm gonna send you is the concept of um creating chat GBT into your personal AI operating system. So the next level for you is to go from this is a tool to this is legitimately the operating system, as if you are opening your computer, but your computer is now chat GBT. But why? Because it has your soul data in it, and then you start to put in your workflows, your systems, the things that you do for your business. And once it understands these little nuances, now you can legitimately just do business inside chat GPT, and you'll ship work on all of this. So the creating that GPT, I could I could do that in 30 minutes or less. So because I've already I already live it and I body it right. So it would be more debugging how it's not working than it will be the all you said because you enjoy this. How did I prepare for the all? Ultimate experience, like so. When I talked to Steve, he's like, I want you because I I only joined seven days before the event. So eight days before the event.

SPEAKER_00

I remember, I remember your video. I I watched it. That's why I recognized you when you walked in the the hotel.

SPEAKER_01

So, what did I do? I uploaded my Kindle book notes from the ultimate coach to Chat GPT saying, I'm going to the event about this book. So now this is my giant context about the book. Well, we're just gonna take that same context because I've read it five times. I've highlighted all this. We'll put that into the custom GPT so that it's got the resonance of the book, right? So now it's anchored on the Ultimate Coach book, not every word, but what Rob has highlighted, which is like 30% of the book. And then you say, and then secondarily, here's the list of questions we want you to prompt or explore. And I can even just create another chat that says, I want to create 30 questions that somebody can answer themselves, ask them one by one, d-dink, ding, dink, done. And then there is our GPT. And of course, we then say, caveat, there's no replacement for doing the work. You might like some of what it shares with you. Make because Steve would say, You can't take my declaration because you haven't created the declaration. Yeah. But this will help those people who want the light version of what's possible for your being. Or we yes and it and say, Maybe this is an exploration around the next level of your identity and creation. Maybe these are just possibilities, right? Change equals possibility. Hey, throw some stuff that's in there with you. Boom.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah. Wow. Yeah. It's amazing. It's really amazing. Uh well, you know what? We can use this as our podcast. It was so good.

SPEAKER_01

Well, so we have that alignment. So I've got Fathom running, and I was like, uh, I'm well, how about this? Um, are you open to, and I can go back and edit the uh the a clean beginning where I'm like, you wouldn't believe what we just did right here. But this is why I always have something recording because what inevitably happens to me is I have a conversation with someone. We literally create magic within two seconds. After 30 minutes, we're like, Man, I wish we were recording this because this could have been a podcast. I know um, we can use this one, let's make it the AI one. Um, I know obviously the type of people and the conversations that you guys are gonna be having, and so people clearly get a lot of beingness, but this is one that it's gonna be one of one, so there's not gonna be very many AI things. I've done the work with Ann Cush. Uh, Eric Loffholm is into the AI side of things, so there's a lot of interest from top leaders like ourselves in this community. So we know this can create a massive perspective for people because imagine somebody only sitting at 100% productivity before they listen to our conversation. And then after this conversation, they can get 400% productivity. And I know we're talking about being, but this is what excites me because you cannot give to others that which you're not experiencing yourself. And we're going to have two people who come together: Rob and his merch, you and yours being like, hey, here's what's possible, here's the stories, here's the levels of the integration. Um, it'll truly transform the people's lives who can hold the space with you and I in this conversation.

SPEAKER_00

While I give you permission to do whatever you want to do, with the recording.

SPEAKER_01

This is um who are look at the beauty, and this is the most meta nature of this. You just asked, Who are you being? Yeah, right? Or ask who are you? Who am I? Right? And then that that little scene. So, this is the whole how we both showed up in Arizona for this call with your question, with what both of us have been doing behind the scenes that no one sees. Rob, what's something nobody else sees? Well, they actually got the inside version on not only the last 12 years of my life, and I guess the corporate America, me, corporate America, you, the coach version of me, the coach version of you, the AI version of me, the AI version of you, all wrapped in being this.

SPEAKER_00

Yes, absolutely. And you know what? Uh, when you said like one morning I woke up and everything was gone and it was all on me, I really love to demolish and start from scratch because you can make something that was not great, you can maybe refurbish or um fix a little bit, but it never is as good as new, right? But when you demolish everything and start from scratch and build it the way you want it, then it is all yours. It's it's so like it gives you so much pride, and also it turns out to be exactly the way you want it to be, and all of that completely applies to creating who you are being. Absolutely.

SPEAKER_01

That's why that's why I legitimately say this is the best thing I've ever learned. Because if you can create yourself into being whoever you want, the absolute best version of you, what would that be? What is that practice? Boom, boom, boom. Like to ding to ding to ding to ding. And this applies to all areas of everything, and it's just um that's the beauty of it, and it's why why I love this conversation.

SPEAKER_00

Me too, me too. Thank you so much for this.
