Before we get to today's show, if you're using ChatGPT but know you're only scratching the surface, I got you. The unlimited method helps you use ChatGPT and AI in a human-first way that feels like an extension of who you are. Because your growth in AI isn't about tech and tools, it's about creating with confidence and clarity. You can go to robcresy.ai backslash dangerous to get started today. Last week I learned a million-dollar lesson from my coach Dan Martell about the world of artificial intelligence. And what I want to do is share with you the five insights that really helped me and can help you in creating your best year ever in 2026. What's good? I'm Rob Cressy, and uh I'm part of Dan Martell's Elite Coaching Program. And as part of that, we've got weekly calls, and occasionally you get an opportunity to ask Dan a question. And I was fortunate last week to get the opportunity to ask Dan a question. And one of the things he had previously shared in another call was the type of question that you ask and the difference between a mirror question and a window question. A lot of people ask a mirror question where essentially you bake in the response you want in the question that you ask your coach or your mentor. But a window question is one in which you leverage the coach's expertise and perspective to get them to share with you what they are seeing that they might not that we might not be seeing. So I rolled into this question looking to create a window question. And I said, hey, I got a lot of momentum going on right now. I'm doing AI keynotes, I'm doing team workshops. Uh just launched my product high service, the unlimited method, in our group program. Side note, if you're interested in taking your AI and chat GBT skills to the next level, go to robcresy.ai backslash dangerous. Uh, we've got group calls starting every Tuesday, starting this week here. So I gave him all of this context here, and I said, based on what you're seeing in the market, plus my positioning, any thoughts on what I am not seeing right now? And we ended up talking for, I don't know, maybe five minutes here. And I wanted to share the five things. I'm gonna break each of these down because uh I've got insight in my own world because I've been living this uh in the world of AI for the last three years, uh, on top of being a full-time entrepreneur for the last 15. So, gold nugget number one from Dan Martell. Very few people in businesses are using AI right now, and it's a big mistake. And for me, this is something that I know, and I've even shared this on this podcast where I cold called a digital marketing agency in Sarasota asking if they're using Chat GBT and AI, and essentially they said no, and then they pushed me away, being like, uh, talk to us in a month. And I share this because one of the sentiments I hear often is, oh man, I'm so far behind, or I'm late. Little ding ding-ding, you are not late. No matter what level you are in the game right now, with chat GPT, and AI integration for you or your team, you are not late. What you might notice is the people who are all in on AI, we make a lot of noise because we're seeing a lot of growth with AI. But one of the things that I share in the unlimited method is the five principles of leadership in the AI era. Because what I want you to do is flip from I don't want to get left behind or I'm just scratching the surface to being a leader in the AI era. And this has nothing to do with tech skills or tools or loving AI. This is all around your ability to take ownership of your path and lead. So let's not over-dramatize what it takes to actually succeed with AI. This is just growth mindset number one or growth mindset 101. But back to the point, there are just very few businesses using it right now. So, what do I hear? Ding, ding, ding, ding, ding. Light bulbs going off. Massive opportunity. It's been that same opportunity for three years running, and it's about to be for the next decade as well. So this is another signal for how many times you need to hear this before it's like, hey, you know what? Maybe I will start to make this a priority in my business and in my life. Number two, and this one just lit me up like a Christmas tree. To be the person to train teams on AI is massive. A$100 billion opportunity. I'll say that again. To be the person to train teams on AI is massive, a$100 billion opportunity. Okay. The size of this made me smile because when I'm looking at what I'm seeing in the market right now, the biggest opportunity in the market is the beginning of the market, right? So if we're gonna take the analogy of the gold rush from back in the day, I don't want to be digging for, I don't want to be the one going to find the gold. I want to sell everybody the shovels so that they can dig gold, right? So, understanding light bulb number one, very few businesses are using it. Number two, it's a$100 billion market to train and enable teams with AI. Huh, this to me says I am on the right path right there. But how is this relevant for you on uh a very practical level? And it's very simple. One of the biggest skills you can learn in the AI right now is your ability to think and dream big, aka capacity. When I look at 2025, the word I would have said to my clients the most is capacity because I want you to think and dream and grow big because AI and ChatGPT can help fill in that capacity for you. So, as I always like to say, Chat GPT can help you write an email or build you a rocket ship to the moon. Which level do you want to play at? I want to play in the big level. Hopefully, you do too. Number three, I loved this. Whatever I want to be known for, teach people how to do that from the people that are already paying you. Because like attracts like. So if in your marketing you're talking about and sharing things that you are already doing with your clients, then you are more likely to attract people that are very similar to your clients. And while some of these things might not be earth-shattering, I know from my own experience how many times do you need to hear something before you take action or it wakes you up? Because one of the principles that I love and I teach in the unlimited method is everything you need is already inside of you. And this is sort of a cousin of that because this is something that you're already just doing with your clients. So, my encouragement for you is when you're looking at the way that you're marketing your brand, sit there and say, Hey, what are the things that we're doing and talking to our clients about every single day? What's that language looks like? Let's start making that into our marketing. And I'm implementing that as we speak. Uh, I sent this um thing that I learned from Dan Martell as a newsletter. I can go to Robcresy.com backslash newsletter if you want to sign up for that. I send it every week on Monday mornings. Um, but I'm living this every single day, including with this podcast right here. All right, number four, and I love this. You don't have to be fancy, just be consistent. One of the things that's limiting so many people in the AI era is their self-limiting beliefs. Um, I don't have an AI background, I don't have a tech background, I'm overwhelmed, I don't have enough time. Whoa, look at how many tools are out there, right? They see that how much, the big, the what they don't know. Well, how is this relevant? Because so often you see the cool, fancy things that the top of the market is doing. And you can be like, well, I'm sitting here at zero and I'm seeing that. That seems so far away. For any of us who uh uh learners are readers or leaders, right? Readers or leaders. So any of us who are readers, we have read Benjamin Hardy and Dan Sullivan's book, The Gap in the Gain. And what does the gap in the gain say? Well, the majority of people are gonna measure themselves from the gap, the gap from where they are right now to the vision of what they see possible, right? Oh my god, I'm so far behind. Versus the gain is measuring from where you started to where you are right now. So when we say you don't have to be fancy, just be consistent, I call this stacking ones over zeros. One, one, one, one, one. Because when you focus on consistency, you're in action more. And when you're in action more, you grow. And the way that I like to share this, and especially if I'm ever back in the day teaching somebody how to launch a podcast, it's process over polish. So many people uh love the idea of being a perfectionist, but for me, it makes me want to puke, right? Shift to work next, right? So that's the thing with this is let's drop being fancy, let's focus on consistency because number five, be consistent in the market and be authentic. And this really spoke to me because of how simple it is to overcomplicate things. And when you focus on consistency, the rest takes care of itself. And then on the back end of this, on the authenticity side of things, when I look at things that I'm going all in on, putting all my chips on the table, it's human first, heart first leadership in the AI era. Why? Everybody's about to outsource everything to AI and the robots, right? If you jump on LinkedIn right now, you just it's almost like politics right now. Those of us who love and use AI, and those of us who are like, I can tell you're writing with Chat GPT, I can see your M-dashes, I can see you're writing these posts for LinkedIn this way, right? It is so polarizing. And the challenge is that people are outsourcing their authenticity because they think they can do it faster, cheaper, easier, and that they'll still get the same results. And I even saw a thing today that I really liked about how um marketing agencies are starting to hire people that were there before Chat GBT existed. Because kids coming out in college right now, they barely know how to write because they're using Chat GBT to do it all. Versus me, I love writing. I came up in a writing background. Why? Because I ran a sports blog for a decade. So for me, my dreams were on the other side of being a creator, podcast, video, live streaming, speaking from stage, as well as writing. So this is a great point to allow your authenticity to shine. Because one thing that Chat GPT can't do is share with you a story from its bachelor or bachelorette party or your kid's first birthday or whatever it is, right? It's missing that authenticity, it's missing that heart, it's missing that soul, which is why there's such an opportunity for us. So let's wrap a bow on this by sort of like summarizing these takeaways to make this simple and easy for us. Because remember, Dan Martel operating at the top of the food chain, running an AI venture studio. So he knows and sees a lot of different things. So, number one, few businesses are using AI right now, whether you realize it or not, massive opportunity. Number two, training teams on AI, hundred billion dollar opportunity, but more importantly, using Chad GBT and AI to dream and think big and to leverage that capacity opportunity. Number three, whatever you want to be known for, teach it based on who's already paying you to talk about that. Marketing 101 and side note, this actually goes into number five. That's also very authentic, right? Because a quote that I love, you cannot give to others that which you are not experiencing yourself. So, and this is something that's so prevalent in the AI market, right? You don't know uh, is this just some guru slinging prompts who hasn't done the work? What I love is show your receipts. What's the work that you've done? Kind of hard to create a podcast about having a conversation with Dan Martell if you haven't had a conversation with Dan Martell. So I love these things. Number four, don't be don't be fancy, be consistent, process over polish, and then consistency plus authenticity, right? So sort of put all of this in the blender right here as we're looking forward to 2026 and say, wait a second, these are the opportunities in front of me right now in the world of AI. Remember, I am not romantic about this. I don't have an AI background, I do not have a tech background, I don't particularly care about AI, despite being all in on it, speaking from stage and leading teams and entrepreneurs and how to leverage it, because it can help accelerate your vision in the way that you want it to. So I would love to hear from you which of these five resonated from you? Is there anything that you're seeing right now in the market? You can hit me up on Instagram, LinkedIn, or Facebook at Rob Cressy, sending tons of love and good vibes away. Hope you have yourself an amazing rest of the day!
