Claude Fable 5 just dropped and it's being called the biggest AI model upgrade since November 2025. In this episode of The Undeniable Leader, Rob Cressy breaks down his full strategy for how he's using it, where he's building first, and why he's treating the next 13 days as an all-in sprint. This is a real-time look at how he is building an AI-first business with the most powerful model ever released.

What's good? It's Rob. If you vibe with this show and you're a high performer who has a standard of personal excellence, the biggest thing that you can do to help us out is to share this with a friend who needs to hear this. Whether you text them or you just share this on social media, that's how this show grows and it helps others at the same time. We really appreciate this. Enjoy the show. Claude just dropped Fable 5, and holy smokes, Batman, this is supposed to be the greatest thing that's been created in AI since November. And what I want to do is unpack my strategy for how I'm using Fable 5, including the first things that I'm doing in my mindset for approaching this, because I am seeing this as a 12-day all-in sprint. So I want to unpack the layers, help you get started, and maximize this opportunity because this is one of those historically great opportunities that we have right now in the world that if you capitalize on, it can set you and your business up for success in the next three to five, 10 years, certainly as agentic AI builds out. And what I'm going to do is share my screen and show you my thought process of the three various things that I'm doing, as well as how you can do this for yourself. And I want to start with something that's foundational and very important. I'm not somebody who chases model upgrades, but when the market says, hey, this is something that's very important, then I'm going to listen. So let's start with this and take a look at this. We have right here Boris Cherney, the one of the developers from Anthropic who created Claude Code. Say Fable 5 is the biggest step up I've seen in our models since November, right? So that alone, look at the top of the food chain. This guy is saying this is so important. And if you don't know what to do in model upgrades, I don't have a tactical background. Nice and simple. You say, hey Claude, I saw that Fable 5 just came out. I want you to help me understand what it is, how's it applied to me, what's new in it, make it simple and easy to understand, what is the quick win and low-hanging fruit for myself. Because we do not need to know anything about model upgrades. You just need to know how to prompt to find out what to put in there. So the very first thing that I did for myself is I went in here and I said, Go into King Rob's World in Notion, which is my second brain, starting with my AI first dream business database. Tell me what you see, notice, where there's opportunity for agentic AI to help me grow. Where can I be better? And what's the hidden and non-obvious? And the reason that I did this is because Notion is my second brain, aka my single source of truth. So in here, I have everything that I've ever created inside of Notion documented. So what I am seeing is my ability to use Fable 5, even if I don't know what it can do. But everyone's like, this thing is the greatest thing ever. And I'm like, look at the intelligence of what I've already created inside of this. And I want you to tell me what you can do, what's the hidden, what's the non-obvious, what's everything in between there. So it goes through here and it audits my second brain. And if you do not have anything for your second brain or your single source of truth, this is the biggest opportunity in the world because it's something that is the infrastructure that is scalable of everything you would do moving forward in the AI era. I've spent three and a half years designing this for this moment, right? Because agentic AI is going to need what in order to work with you? It's going to need things written down systems, processes, workflows. So I think back to what I've learned from Dan Martell, who says, write everything down. 92% of what you're going to do is by leveraging AI, 8% is the human. So I go through here and it tells me each of these various things that I'm doing. And I tell it now, let's build out a deep dive, right? Go through my entire Notion database. So I've got my build tracker here of all of the things that I've been building since February 27th. I've got my signal bank right here, all my ideas. I've got my playbook library, all the standard operating procedures of everything. I've got all my field notes, aka my receipts library. When I create something for myself, I spin it around and I create a version for my clients and a Gentic AI. So that at any point I can open one of these things and you will see: hey, here's all of the information for what we need to do. And here's the thing: I spend no time in Notion whatsoever. None. It is just a second brain that houses everything. But now that Fable 5 is here, it can see the infrastructure of what I've done for an AI first dream business and it can connect all of the dots for me. It was always part of the vision of what I saw was hey, let's be leveraging this in a way where a gentic AI can fill in the gaps. So I always say things like 1080-10, I'll bring the vision and the mapping, the first 10%, AI will co-create the other 80%, and then I'll come in at the bottom, review it, validate, and verify the other 10%. I call that the human AI sandwich, human AI, human, and how we are doing this. So uh that's the first thing that I've done inside of this, and it really told me, hey Rob, here's the things that you need. And the big bottleneck for me was everything right now is reliant on me to trigger it inside of my notion. So we want to create a heartbeat. We want to dial more in the chief of staff of what I am doing. So the next thing that I did is um I'm seeing a lot how Fable is on a preview for only the next 13 days. After that, it is gonna go on to the API where it becomes pay-to-play. So immediately my mindset changed on all of this, where I am doing a sprint. I mean all in because one of the number one assets in the world of AI is time. So many people who are not doing stuff with AI say, oh, I just don't have enough time. Well, guess what? I'm not most people, I have infinite time because I'm an entrepreneur in AI, I can do what I want whenever I want. So when this thing came, boom, everything is on the side of the table, 100% to this for the next 13 days. So I had it build out a fable maximization plan. So if I have 13 days to build historic growth and infrastructure into my business using the greatest AI computer ever created in the history of the world, what does that look like? Because it's very easy for all of us just to start building, but I want to be sequential and organic in how I am doing this, right? I want to have a system and a process behind how I'm doing it because AI works better with that. And relating to all of this is I saw something from my friend Jason Zook who said um he went into Fable and asked it about how much this is going to cost moving forward after the 13-day preview. And it estimated uh roughly $2,000 to $4,000 a month this will cost you to run moving forward without the preview. And this is important because this is where we're about to see the haves versus the have nots, right? Here is the greatest AI model ever, but you're gonna have to pay to use this. So now people are gonna sit there and go, why in the world am I paying two or four thousand dollars to use the thing? Wrong mindset. You gotta flip this thing around. Because if I'm paying two or four thousand dollars a month to use this thing, what am I making on the back end, right? So part of my design in this fable maximization plan legitimately is this thing self-funding itself based on the way that we build this the next 13 days. Because I always want to be in the game at the highest level, so let's design that into the game itself there. So this is what we ended up doing is building out a maximization plan. So if it's like I want this thing running non-stop, so as we speak right now, I have Claude Code running, and you'll see here on the side. Um, I ran an overnight queue. So I'm on my one, two, three, four, five, sixth batch of using Claude Code with Fable to build my AI infrastructure, to build out my agentic roster, to fill in those gaps in that AI first business of mine. I want this thing running 24 hours a day as much as I can to take advantage of that opportunity. And I'm even running this right now because you can see this. It's used 1 million tokens in the last 32 minutes in running this task right here. So my maximization plan, what I ended up doing was I'll go over to here. I put this into notion, right? My second brain, my fable maximization plan. So it says, here's my four moves. Number one, populate my second brain, right? Let's build out the world-class architecture and infrastructure that scales into perpetuity. Because if this is what Fable's great at, then let's use it for that. Move number two, design the growth engines, right? So I've organized my business in three different ways. We've got drivers, things that drive growth, engine, the things that help drive the that the driver can build the engine from the foundation, that infrastructure, and sensors. Those are like the gas tank thing saying, hey, here's how much tank is in the gas or how much gas is in the tank. So I want to be driving growth engines and actually all of these things here because this is very formulaic and intentional by design and how I'm doing this. Move three, let's build the digital team, right? So we hear so many people talking about agentic AI. What does that actually mean? Do you have it? Is it consistent? And is it generating results every single day? Well, with Fable, I'm about to get the answer for that immediately, right? And then lastly, codify the skills. So this is all system scale, right? So if we're running clawed code routines or we are doing automations, whether it's N8N or doing things inside a Notion, we want to make sure that we're creating repeatability around this. And one of the massive advantages that I want to give you right now is an insight that I co-created with Fable. And it is all around during this 13-day sprint using Fable for what it is best at to design the infrastructure that the lower models run on after 13 days. Because a lot of people out there, rightfully so, are gonna build world-class apps, and I'm seeing people building games and all these crazy things there. Totally cool. But I want an engine that keeps running without me, right? I want to take advantage of this massive opportunity. So the best thing that we can do is we know moving forward, the cost of using the best AI is going to increase. Therefore, the best thing that we can do from a leverage standpoint is to take what it does best at to build the infrastructure and then say, hey, with this routine, let's run this on Sonnet. With this routine, let's run this on Opus 4.6 or whatever it is. So now you're intentionally building out the layers of it so that you don't have to use Fable for everything. You're actually just using it to build the car that runs on another model, which is perfect from an optimization standpoint. I also make it very important, I created a skill called the pre-fright, pre-flight brief. It's just like a pilot who has a series of checklists that he looks at before you fly in an airplane. So to ask things like, what is this supposed to do 90 days from now? Where does the data live and who owns it? Uh, what are the invisible risks of this? Who is this being built for? What are the hard to reverse decisions? And what are the blind spots? Because I don't have a technical background, I'm not a developer, I'm not a coder, I had no AI background, I don't know what I don't know. And because of that, I layer that into my process by creating a skill, the pre-flight skill, that helps me see what I don't see before I build. And then once that thing is run, now AI has it and Claude can create it. And then I also hear, and this is a huge one, especially in the AI era with agentic AI, definition of done, right? So if we're gonna be running um autonomous or semi-autonomous processes without us, we need to understand what this ideally looks like. So this is where this becomes binary, one or a zero. Is the post live or is it not? And with this simple criteria here, you save yourself from being the bottleneck in everything, which I know because I'm the roadblock for everything in my business and in my growth. So I want to get clear definition of done and everything. And then I've got ground rules here, I've got a sprint log. So I say this often. We are in the ultimate show me your receipts era with AI. When I jump on Twitter, I laugh because there's so many AI gurus saying this is how I would build a $50,000 business partnership thing, right? There's a lot of how I would. Not interested in that dog. I want you to show me what you did build. And for me, with agentic AI and building a second brain, I've always known just document your receipts every step of the way because confidence is earned. And in the AI era, you can document those receipts. And the reason that I do that is because I've I have clients that I work with every single day where I help lead them in the AI era. So when I do something for myself, I then flip it around and create a version for them and agentic AI. And this log also helps us keep track of what we're building and what we're doing. And Claude and Fable and all the other models can see the process of it. So I'm literally building an AI first dream business in public, one receipt at a time, by design, and I am going to win on a historic level every step of the way. Because there's a quote that I love from Ed Milette: the bigger the dreams, the deeper the foundation. Congratulations. This is when this foundation is about to have compounding intelligence. So you can see here, um, I just did this starting 24 hours ago. So day one, here's what we did. Day two, look at all of this. We're already one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, ten, eleven, twelve builds into using Fable right now. It's telling me the moves, and then it's even creating a log here of Rob's review queue. Because one of the things that I was challenged by and running into is I am building so fast and in so many different ways because my vision is so big in that 73 um section database for my AI first dream business that I don't want to be the bottleneck once again on the review side of things. If it does all of this and it's like, hey Rob, we need you to see if this is good, bad, right, left, red, blue, well, I just need to make sure that this is documented somewhere. So I built all of this into my process by design as well. So you've got the rulings, we've got the reviews and the flags, the green lights, in window working sessions, things to clean up. So I created a concept called the overnight shift. And what is that? Before I go to bed, I turn on clawed code, I've got a queue of all of these things that AI can do for me that have a clear definition of done, does not need me in the loop, and Claude Code can do it overnight. So I've built all of that into that. So, for example, right here, this got built today, the architecture staleness sweep, it'll go through my second brain and see, hey Rob, here's what you haven't moved anything on in seven days, 14 days, 21 days. And of course, right now this process is semi-autonomous. But my goal in all of this is to make this so world-class that in a roster of agents will own each of these things, and I will be in the orchestrator role, right? So everyone wants to tell you how they're just um shipping AI agents left and right, making a badrillion dollars. I live this every single day. I'm figuring it out just like everybody else, but I'm all in on figuring this thing out. So this is sort of how I'm doing this, and you'll see here it's very clear. These are the receipts. Here's the run procedure, the cadence, the definition of done, and the failure protocol. And these are little Lego blocks that stack on top of each other. And the big term I want you to put in your brain right now is compounding intelligence. That's why this gold vault that I've created is so important. So that was the fable maximization plan. And what I just did here is I just kept on peeling the layers of this, and you'll see it ran the pre-flight briefing. And then what I ended up doing is I log it in Notion. I approve it. So you can see right here, boom, there it is. It says, Do you want to kick this thing off now? So, one of the things where a lot of people run into an issue is they build before they plan. Man, in the AI era, create the plan first, because then you can go one by one by one by one all the way down to create that version for yourself that allows you to significantly accelerate this. This is where I use the terms sequential and organic. Sequential, step by step, by step by step, organic. Hey, this is alive, and this is who you are. So you'll see this, and it's telling me everything about where we are. Here's the proposed batch sequence. Boom. Batch one, two, three, four, five. Great, confirmed. It gives me the code to place inside of Claude Code, copy it, come down to here, here it is, paste it in here, boom, shock locker. This thing runs. While this is going, I open up another tab and I just start building some other stuff. So that was step two of what I did, the fable maximization plan. And then while this is going on, and I'm sure many of you experience this as well, is my mind can't stop at this point, right? I am off to the races because I am all in on a 13-day sprint of maximizing this as much as possible. So before I went to bed last night, um, step one, hey, audit everything I'm doing. Step two, let's create the maximization plan. Step three, the organic side. Here's what I think that we should be doing also with this. What are those projects, those things where you see in your vision, man, this is a big opportunity for me. So I just spoke, take what's in your head and get it into AI. Like 10 different things that I was thinking about for ways that Fable could also work with me. So it did this in terms of tiers for me. So tier number one, pure Fable work, design an architecture that compounds, my speaking outreach engine, my AEO optimization sweep, my agent roster activation, and then my reusable template library. We got number two, Fable designs it, Claude Code builds it. My unlimited method, taking that off of gamma and getting that into my HTML. By the way, if you want access to my uh AI methodology that'll make you better than 99% of people in the world in one day, go to robcresy.com backslash AI playbook. Uh, I reverse engineered all of this of coaching for three and a half years on AI, 500 plus hours, speaking on stage, doing this all day, every day. Um, I'm also going to redesign my homepage. Why? Because I've already done this in Claude Code. I was on WordPress for 15 years, uh, used Claude Code for the first time, built my website, and then since then, Claude is managing the whole thing. And then I'm also gonna be building out my routines in Claude Code. And then tier three, we got triage work valuable but discernment heavy and rob dependent. These are things like my business. Tracker and my ideas and this low-hanging fruit. And remember, it's just as easy for AI to write you an email as it is to build a rocket ship to the moon. Let's not spend all of our time doing little micro efficiencies. Let's go for what I call the home runs. And I call this home run time, and I even have a thing in here that I created to make this nice and ex nice and explicit. So I call it the home run creation engine. Because imagine in the design of what you are doing, you are building in home run swings to this, right? It's not when I get time, I'll work on something big. It goes the architecture and design of how I use AI has home run swings built into it. So with that, I've defined three different lanes: revenue, reach, and relationships, right? So for relationships, a home run is two levels above where I am right now. With revenue, it's massive partnerships. With reach, it's content that travels. And then I've even designed four agentic roles here. The hunter goes and searches my second brain for swings that I might miss. The amplifier, once I commit to something, it goes and helps me max that thing out using agentic AI. The killer, this enforces it where it says, hey Rob, if you haven't done something in 21 days, kill the swing. You're not doing anything. And then the scoreboard, let's track those receipts. And then creating a very simple weekly cadence. Hey, every Monday for 15 minutes, check the hunter report. Hey Rob, here's some things that you could do for your home runs. Create a two-hour window once a week called Thursdays from 9 to 11, just working on big home run swings. Friday, the killer report runs. Hey, what are we gonna kill? What are we gonna pause? What are we gonna push? And then what this unlocks is you know that home runs are generated and guaranteed to be in there because you've designed it this way. So that's what I'm doing right there with this. And you'll see here, great, I just speak the language into Claude, it starts building out my entries inside of all of this, and so much of this is structure and process and organization for how Fable Five can support you and your business in the way that you are designing all of this stuff. So I wanted to share this because this was the way that I'm approaching this, and I truly believe these next two weeks you have the opportunity to create historic levels of infrastructure, revenue, systems, and processes with your business. If you've got the right mindset, you've got the right structure, and you're seeing the game the way that I'm seeing this thing. It doesn't mean that mine's the only way to do it, but this is my approach and strategy for how I'm leveraging Fable 5 to grow an AI first dream business in all this. And remember, I do not have a technical background. So when you're seeing all the developers on Twitter talking about things a certain way, I see it. I'm following it, I'm tracking it, I screenshot it, and I put it inside my clot and I cook on top of it. But this is how I translate it in a way that is simple and easy to understand. And the big thing here is which game do you want to be playing? Do you want to be in the I don't have enough time, I don't have enough money, I can't use the best models game? Or are you so good that you say, wow, I'm gonna take these next two weeks to build historically? I'm gonna go all in on this, I'm gonna design the system to say, I want you to be generating revenue for me with this so we can guarantee we are always using Fable Five or whatever the next um big model upgrade is. So I would love to hear from you. Um, how are you thinking about using Claude's Fable 5 and Mythos and everything that's being created right now? You can hit me up on Instagram or LinkedIn at Rob Cressy. Um, I'm gonna continue to do the best that I can to share in real time how I'm building and using this stuff here. Uh, it was actually kind of challenging for me to do this video because um I've been spending literally five hours today since the second I woke up just building with this, because that's the level of urgency and pace here. Because I know by design, most people are not going to do this. But side note, if you're watching this or listening to this, you're not most people, and neither am I, right? So we're those 1% of 1% who are going to change the world because those of us who are crazy enough to believe that we can change the world, we actually do. So I'll try and pop back in and share these nuggets of wisdom. Um, I'm sharing this every week inside um my group program, the undeniable studio. You can go to robcresy.com backslash undeniable. If you're someone who wants to operate at the top of AI in a way that is human first, where we have live building, live co-creation sessions. Um, I give access to all my resources, my field notes, the call replays, but more importantly, it's the staying on the pulse of things, being able to see the newness, co-create it, and be around a room of high performers doing this every single day. Boom, shock locker. No-brainer of the century. I am so excited because there has never been a better time in the history of the world to make our dreams and goals and vision happen than right now. So hit me up, drop me a comment. Other than that, sending tons of love and good vibes your way. Here's having yourself an amazing rest of the day.
