Episode 15: Julie Busler on Breaking Through the Darkness Of Mental Illness
Today’s guest is Julie Busler, a wife & mom, speaker & author who graciously and honestly shares the story of her mental health journey through depression. She and her husband Ryan served as missionaries to Turkey for several years when she was overcome with debilitating PTSD and depression. She even considered ending her life. Instead, after seeking help both mentally and physically, Julie is now thriving and has written a book about how God continues to walk her through recovery. Her story of hope is both raw and beautiful. I am so grateful for her bravery and boldness. Her book, Joyful Sorrow : Breaking Through the Darkness of Mental Illness, is available on Amazon or wherever books are sold.
