Jeffrey and Troy talk about how in 12 step programs, we are encouraged to define our own conception of our higher power. Nobody will force on you a certain belief system in 12 step programs, which is a relief to many newcomers. They discuss how their own conceptions of God have changed over the course of their recovedy journey, touch on atheism in recovery, as well as give advice to newcomers who are just getting started with "the God concept".
