Good As New
Life is messy, beautiful, heartbreaking, happy, and everything in between. It’s those moments that help shape us, give us insight into who we are at our core, and hopefully help craft relationships that will last a lifetime. Events like loss, birth, marriage, graduation and so many more are like road markers along our personal paths, and things don’t always (for better or worse) go as planned. But it’s the story and the results that define who we are - and it’s those life-changing stories that will be coming to you this January with Jaj, who recently found herself a widow with 2 young kids, and Rylee, a budding entrepreneur whose big dreams and even bigger drive are being juggled with the adventure of being a newlywed. Their stories aren’t perfect, but that’s not what we’re here for. We’re learning as we go and hopefully, coming out better than we began. Listen to “Good As New” an imperfectly perfect podcast sharing the moments that break us and build us stronger.

Hey, besties, it’s Rylee and Jaj, and we’re BACK in our cute-as-heck newly decorated studio for the Good as New podcast 2025 reboot! (Okay, not a reboot. More like a glow-up. We’ve got actual baseboards now.)
This week, we’re spilling on all the chaos and charm of starting fresh in the new year. We’re chatting about everything from fail-proof goals (hint: pick habits, not resolutions) to the word that’s going to define your year—ours might just be “simple,” but let’s be real, “Xanax” is in the running.
We also recount our holiday adventures: toaster fires (thanks, garlic bread), Vegas crowds that had us questioning our life choices, and a harrowing Home Goods trip involving a 25-pound bowl and a very confused cashier. Plus, we’re embracing our inner vision board queens—because manifesting your dream life is so 2025.
Whether your vibe this year is “clean girl aesthetic” or “survive January,” we’re here to remind you: romanticize the little things, hug your people, and for the love of baseboards, take down that Christmas tree already.
