I was writing a video script on this topic and having a hard time organizing my thoughts, so I asked Parker if he'd be willing to talk it out. The most common advice, that we shouldn't take breaks from church, has stopped Christian leaders from hearing why people step away and has left those struggling with no practical guidance for how to take a break or reintegrate successfully.
