And it's our Amazon shopping history."},{"startTime":213.694,"endTime":219.039,"body":"A lot of us are doing a lot of shopping. Some"},{"startTime":219.079,"endTime":223.023,"body":"in some cases, the majority, some people I met"},{"startTime":219.079,"endTime":223.023,"body":"do all of their shopping on Amazon. And if"},{"startTime":223.043,"endTime":228.728,"body":"you're in that over $700 billion spent on the"},{"startTime":223.043,"endTime":228.728,"body":"platform every year, I found personally as"},{"startTime":229.208,"endTime":232.671,"body":"a consumer, it was pretty hard to know what"},{"startTime":229.208,"endTime":232.671,"body":"I was spending my money on. I didn't really"},{"startTime":232.711,"endTime":238.055,"body":"know category wise if I was hitting our budgets."},{"startTime":232.711,"endTime":238.055,"body":"How was I doing in terms of like, was I buying"},{"startTime":238.075,"endTime":241.738,"body":"the right product or, you know, was I buying"},{"startTime":238.075,"endTime":241.738,"body":"something that's gone up a lot in price since"},{"startTime":241.798,"endTime":247.102,"body":"I last started buying it? So started as a tool"},{"startTime":241.798,"endTime":247.102,"body":"for me. And what this does is it gives consumers"},{"startTime":247.123,"endTime":252.367,"body":"the ability to understand and analyze their"},{"startTime":247.123,"endTime":252.367,"body":"spending. So go by category or see how much"},{"startTime":252.387,"endTime":256.53,"body":"inflation has hit your favorite product. And"},{"startTime":252.387,"endTime":256.53,"body":"then the really cool part is that sellers and"},{"startTime":256.55,"endTime":260.914,"body":"brands can actually message you. And if they"},{"startTime":256.55,"endTime":260.914,"body":"message you, you're the one who's getting the"},{"startTime":261.014,"endTime":264.817,"body":"benefit of that. So if they're paying a dollar"},{"startTime":261.014,"endTime":264.817,"body":"to send a message as a consumer, I would get"},{"startTime":264.857,"endTime":269.238,"body":"80 cents of that. So we're trying to do a lot"},{"startTime":264.857,"endTime":269.238,"body":"of things here. One is give sellers and brands"},{"startTime":269.258,"endTime":273.74,"body":"this ability to communicate directly, but also"},{"startTime":269.258,"endTime":273.74,"body":"give consumers the ability to monetize their"},{"startTime":273.78,"endTime":278.041,"body":"data because the end of the day, big tech is"},{"startTime":273.78,"endTime":278.041,"body":"making a lot of money off of our data and we're"},{"startTime":278.061,"endTime":281.942,"body":"not getting any cut of that. So we're trying"},{"startTime":278.061,"endTime":281.942,"body":"to solve that problem and give consumers some"},{"startTime":281.962,"endTime":287.804,"body":"of that power back. I mean, the minute I saw"},{"startTime":281.962,"endTime":287.804,"body":"it, I go, my God, this is what sellers need."},{"startTime":287.944,"endTime":293.305,"body":"This is what brands need. But it was definitely"},{"startTime":287.944,"endTime":293.305,"body":"very cool for consumers to want to learn about"},{"startTime":293.365,"endTime":297.339,"body":"what they're spending. And so let me. Make sure"},{"startTime":293.365,"endTime":297.339,"body":"I explain this and try and unpack this a little"},{"startTime":297.379,"endTime":303.284,"body":"bit. If you're a consumer and you're buying"},{"startTime":297.379,"endTime":303.284,"body":"on Amazon, you can go and try and look at what"},{"startTime":303.304,"endTime":307.607,"body":"you purchased in the past. And they make it"},{"startTime":303.304,"endTime":307.607,"body":"quite easy for the last maybe month or two."},{"startTime":307.647,"endTime":312.21,"body":"Maybe it's three months. And then they start"},{"startTime":307.647,"endTime":312.21,"body":"to archive a lot of your buying history. It's"},{"startTime":312.25,"endTime":316.053,"body":"there, but you've got to go search for it. And"},{"startTime":312.25,"endTime":316.053,"body":"it's not very easy to navigate. It doesn't"},{"startTime":316.133,"endTime":321.777,"body":"organize in categories. I have no handle"},{"startTime":349.722,"endTime":353.845,"body":"on how much we're spending. And is this the"},{"startTime":353.865,"endTime":358.768,"body":"biggest problem in the world? No, but you definitely"},{"startTime":353.865,"endTime":358.768,"body":"kind of want to know where that money's going,"},{"startTime":358.808,"endTime":363.932,"body":"especially during tougher times. Many people"},{"startTime":358.808,"endTime":363.932,"body":"are buying things on credit cards or the interest"},{"startTime":363.952,"endTime":367.454,"body":"rates are really high. And so you really want"},{"startTime":363.952,"endTime":367.454,"body":"to understand what you're buying on Amazon."},{"startTime":367.694,"endTime":373.198,"body":"You also want to see how important you are to"},{"startTime":367.694,"endTime":373.198,"body":"Amazon too. And you'll find that many buyers,"},{"startTime":374.119,"endTime":377.661,"body":"maybe when they first started buying on Amazon,"},{"startTime":374.119,"endTime":377.661,"body":"they were buying very little bit. Now they're"},{"startTime":377.681,"endTime":383.136,"body":"spending. hundreds, thousands, tens of thousands"},{"startTime":377.681,"endTime":383.136,"body":"of dollars on Amazon in a year, and companies"},{"startTime":383.176,"endTime":390.64,"body":"are spending even much more. So it's a cool"},{"startTime":383.176,"endTime":390.64,"body":"lap for that. But now understand that if you're"},{"startTime":390.661,"endTime":396.884,"body":"a seller on Amazon or a brand, you have to go"},{"startTime":390.661,"endTime":396.884,"body":"through the Amazon machine to be able to message"},{"startTime":397.384,"endTime":405.409,"body":"the customers. And with USCO, you could message"},{"startTime":397.384,"endTime":405.409,"body":"these customers directly. But that Amazon seller"},{"startTime":438.844,"endTime":444.785,"body":"has no idea who you are. It's just another purchaser"},{"startTime":438.844,"endTime":444.785,"body":"that basically they're spending more and more"},{"startTime":444.825,"endTime":448.967,"body":"money on ads, trying to reach more customers,"},{"startTime":444.825,"endTime":448.967,"body":"maybe the same customer over and over again."},{"startTime":449.007,"endTime":453.988,"body":"And this gives you that ability to create that"},{"startTime":449.007,"endTime":453.988,"body":"relationship and actually send a message directly."},{"startTime":454.008,"endTime":457.989,"body":"And the great thing is the consumers opting"},{"startTime":454.008,"endTime":457.989,"body":"in for this. So they're expecting these messages."},{"startTime":458.029,"endTime":461.884,"body":"They actually want to read them. they're getting"},{"startTime":458.029,"endTime":461.884,"body":"some benefit from reading the messages. So it really is"},{"startTime":466.588,"endTime":471.232,"body":"a win-win, I feel like, for both sides. It's super"},{"startTime":475.596,"endTime":479.98,"body":"valuable, but it's being siloed in all of these"},{"startTime":480.06,"endTime":485.044,"body":"big tech companies, and each one of them is"},{"startTime":480.06,"endTime":485.044,"body":"like holding onto one piece of it. And if you"},{"startTime":485.104,"endTime":489.063,"body":"as a consumer decide, look, I want to go take"},{"startTime":485.104,"endTime":489.063,"body":"my Amazon data out of there. You're allowed"},{"startTime":489.103,"endTime":493.106,"body":"to legally are allowed to do that. And you can"},{"startTime":489.103,"endTime":493.106,"body":"do what you want with it. And if you want to"},{"startTime":493.186,"endTime":496.929,"body":"make it possible for brands that you love or"},{"startTime":493.186,"endTime":496.929,"body":"brands that you don't even know you love that"},{"startTime":496.969,"endTime":500.271,"body":"match your purchase history to reach out to"},{"startTime":496.969,"endTime":500.271,"body":"you. Like"},{"startTime":520.036,"endTime":524.058,"body":"I hate putting stuff on my phone. And what's"},{"startTime":520.036,"endTime":524.058,"body":"it going to do? What kind of virus of the day"},{"startTime":524.098,"endTime":528.601,"body":"am I going to get? And I'm like, oh, I don't"},{"startTime":524.098,"endTime":528.601,"body":"know. And I'm watching everybody do it. And"},{"startTime":529.061,"endTime":533.023,"body":"I think when you understand your product, you"},{"startTime":529.061,"endTime":533.023,"body":"realize it's incredibly safe. I mean, it's"},{"startTime":533.504,"endTime":539.087,"body":"incredibly built to provide privacy for any"},{"startTime":533.504,"endTime":539.087,"body":"end user that puts it on their phone. So maybe"},{"startTime":539.107,"endTime":544.386,"body":"you could talk about that a little bit more"},{"startTime":539.107,"endTime":544.386,"body":"and get people comfortable with the idea. And I mean, today, the standard is"},{"startTime":544.446,"endTime":548.489,"body":"that you give your data away to whatever app"},{"startTime":548.529,"endTime":553.554,"body":"you use and in exchange, or maybe getting a"},{"startTime":548.529,"endTime":553.554,"body":"free product or a free app. And unfortunately,"},{"startTime":554.054,"endTime":558.638,"body":"when the internet started, people kind of made"},{"startTime":554.054,"endTime":558.638,"body":"this this this deal. And it's just kept going"},{"startTime":558.678,"endTime":563.562,"body":"where you know, you're kind of giving up this"},{"startTime":558.678,"endTime":563.562,"body":"this right to what should be yours and really"},{"startTime":563.602,"endTime":567.445,"body":"should be treated in a totally different way."},{"startTime":563.602,"endTime":567.445,"body":"So we think that that's where the future is"},{"startTime":567.465,"endTime":570.848,"body":"going. We think that's how the future of the"},{"startTime":567.465,"endTime":570.848,"body":"internet is going to look. So we focused a"},{"startTime":570.888,"endTime":575.763,"body":"lot on privacy when we launched and Currently"},{"startTime":570.888,"endTime":575.763,"body":"the way the app works is that when you do load"},{"startTime":575.783,"endTime":580.886,"body":"your Amazon Purchase History, it's not coming"},{"startTime":575.783,"endTime":580.886,"body":"onto our servers at all. It doesn't go onto"},{"startTime":581.606,"endTime":585.969,"body":"the cloud anywhere. It's actually stored on"},{"startTime":581.606,"endTime":585.969,"body":"the hard drive of your phone. So it might feel"},{"startTime":585.989,"endTime":589.331,"body":"like a very old school way of doing it, but"},{"startTime":585.989,"endTime":589.331,"body":"it's actually the most secure way of doing"},{"startTime":589.371,"endTime":593.393,"body":"it. You're the only one who has that data. And"},{"startTime":589.371,"endTime":593.393,"body":"as a consumer, I think that's pretty amazing"},{"startTime":593.433,"endTime":598.456,"body":"because this data is truly yours and it's not"},{"startTime":593.433,"endTime":598.456,"body":"being monetized without your involvement. And"},{"startTime":598.596,"endTime":602.894,"body":"I think also when you're talking about Purchase"},{"startTime":598.596,"endTime":602.894,"body":"History, it's kind of nice to know like no"},{"startTime":602.934,"endTime":606.876,"body":"one's creeping on what you buy. And the way that we then match up these"},{"startTime":606.896,"endTime":611.059,"body":"messages that brands can send is we can put"},{"startTime":611.079,"endTime":615.761,"body":"a message out to our entire universe of users"},{"startTime":611.079,"endTime":615.761,"body":"and say like, Hey, is there anyone out there"},{"startTime":615.801,"endTime":621.745,"body":"that, you know, bought a specific type of product?"},{"startTime":615.801,"endTime":621.745,"body":"You know, it could be a protein powder in the"},{"startTime":621.765,"endTime":625.787,"body":"last three months. And we need to make sure"},{"startTime":621.765,"endTime":625.787,"body":"they bought it six times because that makes,"},{"startTime":625.847,"endTime":629.889,"body":"means that they're good, a good target customer"},{"startTime":625.847,"endTime":629.889,"body":"for the brand that I'm, I'm hypothetically"},{"startTime":629.909,"endTime":634.291,"body":"working with. It would just survey all of the"},{"startTime":629.909,"endTime":634.291,"body":"phones and the phones would anonymously say,"},{"startTime":634.351,"endTime":638.332,"body":"look, I match that criteria. And if the person reads that, they would"},{"startTime":638.392,"endTime":642.793,"body":"get their compensation. We probably have about $25 million"},{"startTime":654.477,"endTime":658.986,"body":"of Amazon spend already on the platform, which"},{"startTime":654.477,"endTime":658.986,"body":"is really cool.
