Please join Ida Reis, CDLP®, with the Divorce Lending Association as she interviews Family Law Attorney, Jolie Weinberg. 

Ms. Weinberg earned her Juris Doctorate from the Georgetown University in Washington, D.C. where she served on the Georgetown Journal of Legal Ethics and as a Dean’s Tutor.  Prior to that, she graduated with honors from Ohio State University with a Bachelors in Economics and minors in both Communications and Political Science.  During her undergraduate work, Ms. Weinberg was selected to study at Oxford University, New College, England.

Ms. Weinberg has been practicing in the area of domestic law since 1990 and served as the Family Law Chair for both Prince George's and Howard County Bar Associations for many years.  Ms. Weinberg was trained as a mediator on 1992 and is the founding president of the Howard County Collaborative Professionals and served as co-president of the Maryland Collaborative Practice Council after serving on the board. Ms. Weinberg is the past president of the Women's Bar Association for the State of Maryland, was appointed by both Governors O'Malley and Ehrlich to sit on the Judicial Selection Committee for Howard County, and is a past member of the Family Law Section Council for the Maryland State Bar Association (MSBA). Jolie is also the past chair of the Alternative Dispute Resolution Council for the MSBA.

Ms. Weinberg appears frequently as a speaker throughout the state of Maryland on a variety of family law topics, including collaborative law, for such organizations as the Maryland Institute of Continuing Professional Legal Education, University of Maryland Law School, National Family Resiliency Center, Maryland State Bar Association and Johns Hopkins Applied Physics Lab.
