Sherrie Carreno started her career with Marriott and worked her way up to become General Manager in that organization before moving to Aimbridge, the world’s largest management company, to open a new hotel in a historic building in downtown San Francisco. From there, she served as area manager in California and Utah before taking her current role as general manager at Wildhaven Sonoma - the top-rated glamping destination in the San Francisco Bay Area.
In this episode, she shares how mentoring others has been one of the most rewarding experiences across all of these roles in her career, and also what she’s learned about mentoring.
