Episode 19: Storytelling Specifics With Michael Ciccarelli-Walsh | Science & Structure of Story, Scriptwriting, Superhero Fantasy
Today's episode is a great one! In this addition of the show, I talked to Michael Ciccarelli-Walsh about all things storytelling. Author of the Zoboros Series, both of which are reviewed on the Chronicles & Coffee blog, Michael has a wide variety of input to give on the superhero fantasy genre, writing, publishing, and so much more. Today we talked about so, as well as his time as a Florida State student turned alumni faculty member, as well as his time doing the UCLA Screenwriting Program, all of which were huge steps to his writing career. We talked about finding a writing group, drafting, revising, where our ideas come from, and so much more.
Also, this is the first episode where I am implementing writing advice from listeners like you in the midst of the episode, so be on the hunt for that intermission each episode to see if your advice (posted on Twitter) made it into today's cut! Today's was from Gregory Alexander Sharp, with Twitter username SempaiGreg. Thanks for the great advice!
Tune in to this amazing episode and do not forget to check out Michael's links to social medias and books down below.
