There's a Lone Wolf Full Moon in Aries that invites you to embrace your individuality while acknowledging your connections with all beings. In the spirit of balance, this week Venus (Relational One) in Leo squares Uranus (Maverick) in Taurus, completing a three-month cycle that has challenged and reshaped your relationships and inner values. Mercury (Bridge-maker) in Virgo trines Uranus (Maverick) in Taurus supporting lightbulb moments of recognition of outworn narratives of criticism that are too small for your radical generative authenticity. Let the Full Moon illuminate our transformational path together.

Speaker 1:

Hello, welcome to Astrology Alchemy. I'm Sheila Belanger, your host for this podcast. Alchemy is defined as a seemingly magical process of transformation. Spiritual alchemy is the process of pursuing the gold of your true nature by transmuting the unrefined, limiting parts of yourself. In this podcast, I'll offer you inspiring insights from current astrology cycles that support your path of turning your personal lead into gold. More resources are available at the website on theedgesofchangecom. Hello there and welcome to the podcast for the week of September 25th. I'm your host and guide, sheila Belanger. Here's a quote from this week's podcast poem.

Speaker 1:

We are coming back together On Friday, september 29th. We have a full moon at 6 degrees of Aries, at 2.58 am Pacific Daylight Time. This full moon is called a lone wolf full moon because there are no other aspects or connections by mathematical contact to the moon except for the sun, and that means there's a purity to this full moon. It's just as it is. It says boom, here I am illuminating for you. And remember, the full moon is that incredible invitation to balance. And here we are in the season of autumn, when the sun is in Libra, which is all about illuminating balance. So the sun wants to shine on questions and insights about reciprocity, fairness, right relationship inside yourself, with your inner figures, externally so-called externally with others. And then the full moon is the moon balancing the sun opposite sign of Aries the moon, that deeply instinctive, nurturer, non-cognitive, fluid, changeable, tidal part of ourselves. It's all about our deep emotions and what nurtures us and how we nurture others. And Aries is a very dynamic fire sign that says I'm independent, I'm doing it myself and the balance, always with Libra and Aries, is self and other. That's a really shorthand way of putting it, but it really speaks to OK. There's each of us on our own individual journey, thinking we're separate, thinking we're doing our own gig, and yet we're always in relationship, libra, whether it's inner figures inside of us.

Speaker 1:

Rumi calls it the guesthouse, all the inner figures. This guesthouse is being a human, as he says, external relationships with humans, with animals, with nature beings, with the archetypes and the spirits, with the energy of these times, the zygast of the times. So it's an illusion that we're independent and separate, which is one of the lies of the dominator, colonizing mindset we've all been inculturating into. I'm going to pull myself up by my bootstraps, going to do it myself, don't need anybody. That's toxic illusions. So this full moon can really help you, illuminate, yes, honor your individuality, honor the unique path you're called to do and the way you need to be authentic. I never forget that you're connected, ok, that we are all in this together totally.

Speaker 1:

And then also the same day, friday, september 29th, venus squares Uranus. That's retrograde right now, at 22 degrees of Leo torus, and this is the third time that these two planets have been seemingly in a 90 degree angle. That's what the square means in the heavens. It looks like there's a 90 degree angle between Venus and Uranus. Now, venus square Uranus has happened three times recently. The beginning of it was July 2nd and now, at the end of September, it finishes.

Speaker 1:

So we really have had this three month sub-cycle that some of you are really sensitive to, that has gone along with the recent Venus retrograde in Leo ass kicker cycle about re-evaluation around relationships and values and how you spend your life energy. Remember that. So Venus, the relational one, the lover, the one of you that is attuned to. What do I value? What do I care about? What do I put my life energy into? Is it worth it? What's working in relationships, what's not? And in this three month period, the square with Uranus, this archetype of the maverick, the change agent, the one that shakes things up, the one that wants to kick down the walls and help you free yourself from false constriction and shoulds. And all the old be a good behaved person Mindset that is too small for who you are.

Speaker 1:

Now Venus is in Leo, still finishing the journey in Leo, and that's very much a call to awaken your inner sovereign. That's not your inner narcissist, that's not you taking up the stage and saying, hey, look at me, it's all about me. That's a very wounded expression of Leo. The inner sovereign is the one that is rooted in deep, profound self-respect, compassionate self-acceptance and the courage to shine your presence and be visible in the world, because you have a uniqueness about you that the world needs, whatever way it expresses. It can be the work you do in the world. It can be the way you parent or be part of your family. It can be your relationship with your pets. It can be your activism for social justice or climate change any of these things. Or it can be you in a gentle, loving nature relationship with a neighbor.

Speaker 1:

Venus and Leo says be in your sovereignty and self-respect. The square, the tension with Uranus, uranus being in Taurus, an earth sign that has to do with security and stability and how we spend our life. So Uranus and Taurus it's been there for a couple of years, archetypally wakes you up. Okay, what's costing you too much? Venus and Leo, that part of you are you planning to the audience? Are you trying to get external approval? Are you finding your self-worth based upon how many likes you get in your social media posts? Uranus says wake up. That's nothing to do with your value. That's nothing to do with your worth. Your worth is in your authenticity and your self-respect.

Speaker 1:

So you might consider the last three months, if there's been some stirring and some waking up in some inner earthquakes and kind of insights and lightning bolts saying what the hell have I been doing? Why have I been giving this external person or situation so much power? Whoa, whoa, whoa. Come on home, hoo, breathe ground in your self-respect and radically be willing to be visible in a way that is right for you, because there is illusions about again being separate, there's illusions about being marginalized and, yes, there is indeed actual danger and we see this in the profound toxicity of the othering going on in our planet now, in our world where you can get killed because you're other. I take nothing away from the true danger.

Speaker 1:

And yet the Venus Square Uranus cycle finishing has challenged you to say where can you courageously be yourself, where can you courageously release a toxic pattern of othering yourself, parts of yourself and othering external people, and let that go, because we are connected? And then, finally, on Saturday, september 30th, mercury triumphs Uranus at 22 degrees of Virgo Taurus. So here's a balance to the square with Venus. The square is fine because the square is an astrological pattern that challenges you to make adjustments. They're necessary. A trine means the two planets are about 120 degrees away from each other and there's a harmony between them. They're like working well with each other, they're flowing together. So a trine brings an ease, but also a grace.

Speaker 1:

Now Mercury is the communicator, the storyteller, also the bridge maker, and it's finishing up its journey in Virgo. It's just come off of being retrograde in Virgo, meaning this review period, retrograde review period and in this week it's back to the place in the heavens it was when it turned retrograde on August 23rd. All that means don't get overwhelmed by the astrology language. All it means is you're coming back to a point that's important for review, because about five weeks ago, when Mercury turned retrograde in Virgo. There was this calling for reassessment, and particularly Mercury and Virgo, reassessing mental habits, narratives of self-criticism that's a wounded side of Virgo or criticism of others, but also a call to mentally stop and assess what are the sacred forms I need to put in place in my life so my life works. How do I order my mind, how do I order my life? Not from a constricted shitting place but from a functional. Lemme get in alignment with myself.

Speaker 1:

And now, as Mercury comes back at the end of this week to the place it turned retrograde in the Zodiac wheel, it says there's some kind of possible integration and insight. And Mercury is in this positive, graceful relationship with the change agent, maverick archetype, uranus. So this can be a breakthrough kind of time. And I don't mean to imply you should have a breakthrough, but you might find there's a kind of oh, I didn't see it like that before, now, I see it differently. One of the gifts of Uranus it kinda says snap out of it, wake up to what's really so. So notice at the end of this week if you're really recognizing. Huh, I think about things differently. Or with the Venus square Uranus oh my gosh, I have woken up to this is too costly. This relationship, this pattern I keep running, this experience of trying to get others to see me and recognize me. It's like let it go. Let it go. So just notice where things are different than what you think they are this week and that really, fundamentally, we're not separated, because we are all on this beautiful planet together and we gotta navigate what's going on together.

Speaker 1:

So there, my friends, the poem I wanna bring you is extraordinary. It's from Amanda Gorman, such a gifted young poet it's called, and so it is easy to harp, harder to hope. This truth, like the white blown sky, can only be felt in its entirety or not at all. The glorious was not made to be piecemeal. Despite being drenched with dread, this dark girl still dreams. We smile like a sun that is never shunted. Grief, when it goes, does so softly, like the exit of that breath. We just realized we clutched.

Speaker 1:

Since the world is round, there is no way to walk away from each other, for even then we are coming back together. Some distances, if allowed to grow, are merely the greatest proximities, so dear ones. This week, may you know, in an embodied way, that the world is round and the parts of you that are running away from yourself or others, are overwhelmed with compassion and grace. Love them and let them know there's no running away from the world, or each other or the earth. We are coming back together. Lean into that and a big heart gratitude to all of you who continue to support the podcast. Thank you so much.
