Hello, welcome to Astrology Alchemy. I'm Sheila Bélanger, your host for this podcast. Alchemy is defined as a seemingly magical process of transformation. Spiritual alchemy is the process of pursuing the gold of your true nature. By transmuting the unrefined limiting parts of yourself. In this podcast, I'll offer you inspiring insights from current astrology cycles that support your path of turning your personal lead into gold. More resources are available at the website on the edges of change.com. Hello, and welcome to episode number 328 of the Astrology Alchemy Podcast. This is for the week of September 1st, 2025. I'm your host and guide, Sheila Bélanger. Here's a phrase from this week's podcast poem:"to live in this world, you must let it go." Let me give you an overview here. This week opens a powerful three week arc. Saturn returns to Pisces for its final six, much six month chapter. In the sign. Uranus shifts direction and the first of two very potent eclipses of light up the sky. I, this is the opening of the Eclipse Portal, inviting you to honor what is completing and to prepare for a new rhythm of becoming. We are all entering a threshold passage where old structures dissolve and new possibilities glimmer. It's not about control. It's about allowing the tide of change to teach you what still needs completion, release, and integration. And keeping in mind are ones, I'm always giving you a sense of the archetypal cycles from the astrological lens for your own personal growth. And of course, there's no separation with the collective. So as you hear these cycles, you may recognize, oh, this is happening on the collective. And for me, the more of us individually. Who consciously lean in to the alchemical process of change and really say, okay, I'll make those changes. The ripple effect is huge for our world, so it's not just personal. On September 1st, Saturn Reenters the sign of Pisces. Saturn, the responsible one, slips back into Pisces until February of 2026. This is the last stretch of a 29 year cycle. Pisces is the last of the 12 Zodiac signs and Saturn takes approximately 29 years to complete a whole cycle, starting with Aries and moving through all the other Zodiac signs to finish up in Pisces. So the last six months we're stepping into of the previous 29 year cycle. Think of it as a final apprenticeship. Six months to gather the wisdom of boundaries, responsibilities, and lessons learned. That's Saturn about flow, endings and surrender. That's Pisces. Pisces is that water sign that is about dissolving boundaries, dissolving illusions. Becoming one with Pisces helps us attune and love and heal. Attune with and love and heal our victim. One, our overwhelmed one, and Saturn is the one in us who can create boundaries and structure when it's in a healthy expression, in its unhealthy expression, it's like an inner critic. It's a fear-based controlling punitive energy. The highest gift of Saturn and Pisces is to take responsibility for your own unconscious energy. To become as aware of you as you can with all the energies in you, and to take responsibility not to project it out unconsciously on others, and to take responsibility to stand in your dreams and your visions and own them. Here's a reflection question for Saturn reentering Pisces. What unfinished learning about boundaries and responsibilities. Is asking for your patient attention before you can step into the next Saturn cycle. Then on September 2nd and third, mercury and Virgo meets Uranus in Gemini Mercury. The storyteller enters Virgo and quickly tangles with Uranus the Maverick in Gemini. Expect disruptions in communication, sudden insights or nervous system jolts. It's an invitation to sharpen your discernment, separating signal from noise. The Zodiac sign of Virgo brings us precision. The archetype of Uranus brings surprise, unexpected change together. Mercury and Virgo, the Communicator, and Uranus, the Maverick and Gemini, together, they call you to reframe old patterns of thought and oh my goodness, do we and our world need that? Here's a reflection question for this cycle. What sudden shift in perspective could free you from mental habits that no longer serve? And then on September 4th, Mars in Libra Squares, Jupiter in Cancer. If you don't understand the astrology lingo of squaring in opposition and such, don't worry about it. I try to tell you stories in English so that you can get the gist of what I'm offering you to consider. So Mars the action taker archetype. Presses against Jupiter, the wise one energy may feel inflated. Conflict or urgency can escalate. Particularly true for Mars because that character in US and the world is very impulsive. It wants it yesterday. It just wants to go. Now it's in. The relational sign of Libra, which wants to take turns thinking about what's right for everyone else. So you can find an impulsiveness with Mars and Libra in your relationships, and you can have this sort of pushy urgency. But the deeper invitation is to learn balance, right timing, right action, right Expansion. That's attuning with Jupiter as the wise one archetype in the deep water sign of cancer, which is sensitive and nurturing and wants to connect emotionally. It's less about pushing harder and more about aligning effort with a larger purpose, still about taking action, and it's first of all, attuning sensitively to yourself and others before you take those actions. It's a reflection for this cycle. Where could you temper bold action with wise timing this week? Okay, September 5th, Uranus goes retrograde. The Maverick Planet Stations looks like it stops and turns backward, beginning a five month inward review. Planets go retrograde. From our perspective on the earth. When they appear to move backwards in their orbit, you know they're not doing that, and it's an archetypal review period. Slow down. Go inside. Review. Uranus asks you and us, what systems of meaning are you ready to rewire? The Zodiac sign of Gemini is all about ideas and thoughts and connection, and curiosity and possibilities. The maverick being in Gemini is saying, whoa, change your thinking. What's a different perspective you can have? So the new systems of meaning in Gemini, this especially touches communication, learning, and technology. The station of Uranus going backwards can spark restless energy. Notice what breakthroughs are trying to emerge and keep yourself grounded. It's a high energy. Uranus in Gemini turning retrograde. Lots of quickness. Do your practices of grounding, of breathing, of meditating. So you're staying connected. Here's a reflection for this cycle. What fresh story about yourself or the world is waiting to be ridden? And then finally, on September 7th, we have the full moon eclipse in Pisces at 11:09 AM Pacific Daylight Time. This whole week culminates in this full moon lunar eclipse. So the sun and moon are opposite each other and they're balancing the sun is the conscious self in opposition balance with moon. The instinct of nurturer the power of an eclipse means. We on the earth are in between the sun and the moon in such a way that the earth's shadow find falls on the moon's disc lunar eclipse. So part of the moon's disc in part of the world is seen to disappear or be blackened. It's a powerful time lunar eclipses to release old emotional patterns. And this full moon eclipse in Pisces amplifies Saturn's recent reentry into the sign of Pisces. This eclipse is like a tidal surge washing away illusions, dissolving what no longer holds truth and illuminating spiritual clarity. It's tender, mystical, and deeply cleansing. It has a lovely relationship with Jupiter in cancer, the wise one, and so there's a lot of emotionality, a lot of cleansing and releasing, and because Saturn is recently back into Pisces, it brings that responsible one, that clarity around what's done, what's finished, and always with a lunar eclipse, there can be the support for us to release emotionally. What we don't need to carry anymore, and let's contextualize it. We're in an enormous, painful, challenging initiation time. So much is dissolving of who we thought we were, our countries, our governments, our principles, and there's a lot of confusion and it's also a powerful time of endings. And one of the things about Pisces is it brings us closer to our awareness of universality in the sense of we're all in it together and we're always changing. The Buddhists know this truth, impermanence, and yet our egos keep trying to think we're in control and we're gonna make it the same. So in this potent full moon eclipse, be tender with yourself. And be courageous with yourself. Here's a reflection question for this full moon eclipse. What in your life is ready to be released back into the ocean? So your next chapter can begin with clarity. Sometimes for many of us, particularly now with all this suffering, the horrific suffering in the world, we've not been able to fully grieve. Because it is overwhelming the losses, and yet you may find this full moon eclipse supports you in some way to grieve, to recognize what you need to let go, what maybe you had to let go, not by choice. It's a very tender and potent time, and the poem that came for this week is a very powerful one. From Mary Oliver about releasing and letting go, and our human journey of that. It's called In Blackwater Woods by Mary Oliver. So feel the Deep archetypal support this week dear ones. You are grieving what you know the losses are, and yet the deep support of the tides to let them go and trust your emotions and trust that you're not alone and you're letting go. There is a clearing happening, awaiting for a different kind of rebirth or new beginnings. Thanks as always.
