It's a particularly poignant question for all of us right now, because there are forces in our collective journey that want to imprison us with the past in a rondo of doom scrolling. I am not suggesting here that we be Pollyanna and oh, everything's okay. There are dire, horrific things happening on our planet right now, and try to see the larger picture, a bigger pattern that might free you from the weight of the old narratives. And then finally on Saturn, Saturn Day, November 22nd, Saturn's Day, mercury retrograde in Scorpio. Trines, both Jupiter in cancer and Saturn in Pisces. Here's another Grand trine, the messenger now in Scorpio. The water sign reviews lessons with the wise ones and the grounded one. Thought meets empathy. Jupiter and discernment. Saturn revealing emotional intelligence. Born from experience. It's a growth opportunity. Integrate insight into practice. Wisdom now wants form a reflection question. What understanding am I ready to live? Not just think. And taking a breath. It is a very, very poignant week, particularly the sextile between Uranus and Neptune. These two big transpersonal planets. Alchemically inviting us to have a very deep awakening about a deeper dreaming. And then all the water trines, the deep harmony with our emotional being. Very poignant time. And a poem that dropped into my lap recently feels really congruent to this week. It's called Tober Fredrick by David White. And it's about a sacred holy site in Kamara on the west coast of Ireland. That's a holy, well, it's a pilgrimage site and has been for ages, so quality, a bit of pilgrimage beginning or continuing in this week, and also the challenge to shift perspective and identity to meet. The deeper opportunities on the archetypal changes Toa Frederick turn sideways into the light as they say the old ones did, and disappear into the originality of it all. Be impatient with easy explanations. And teach that part of the mind that wants to know everything. Not to begin questions it cannot answer. Walk the green road above the bay and the low glinting fields to toward the evening sun. Let that Atlantic gleam be ahead of you and the gray light of the bay below you. Until you can catch down on your left, the break in the wall for just above in the shadows, you'll find it hidden. A curved arm of rock. Holding the water close to the mountain, a just lit surface smoothing, a scattering of coins and in the niche above. Notes to the dead and supplications for those who still live. But for now, you are alone with the transfiguration and ask no healing for your own, but look down as if looking through time. As if through a rent veil from the other side of the question you've refused to ask, and you remember now that clear stream of generosity from which you drank, how as a child your arms could rise and your palms turn out to take the blessings of the world. This is a week to open to the blessings and generosity of the world. The deep, holy, well connected to your soul, connected to the soul of the world. As you travel in your week with your everyday life, holy decisions and actions, occasionally imagine that you turn sideways into the light and you remember a deeper, clearer stream that you drink from, and you begin to ask the questions you refuse to ask.
