This is a potent threshold week. You may feel both the quickening of change and the weight of what is being asked to release. There’s nothing wrong with you if it feels intense. This is part of a real initiation in the larger spiral of change.

We are moving through a moment where personal experience and collective reality are tightly interwoven. The instability we are witnessing in the world, including ongoing war and forms of leadership shaped by deep wounding, is not separate from our inner process. It is part of the same field. The invitation is to stay present without collapsing or turning away.

Tuesday, April 28 — Venus in Gemini trines Pluto in Aquarius
The Relational One meets the Transformer. This opens a doorway for deeper, more honest connection. Conversations may carry unexpected truth. Venus in Gemini invites curiosity and new ways of relating, while Pluto in Aquarius works at a collective level, reshaping how we connect within rapidly changing systems. This is an early glimpse of a larger shift that will unfold as Uranus moves into Gemini. Notice where your way of connecting is evolving. Stay curious.

Friday, May 1 — Full Moon at 11° Scorpio (trine Jupiter in Cancer)
This is deep water. Scorpio Full Moons bring emotional truth, revealing what we hold tightly beneath the surface. With Jupiter in Cancer, there is support for integration and care.

This Full Moon aligns with Beltane, a seasonal threshold honoring life force, creativity, and the fire of becoming. There is a powerful paradox here. Beltane brings vitality and emergence, while Scorpio asks for depth and release. True aliveness includes both.

Something may soften, open, or be revealed. Old patterns rooted in control or protection may feel less stable. At the collective level, this intensity mirrors the power struggles and fear-based actions we are witnessing. The invitation is to stay present with what is real without losing your center.

Also Friday — Venus in Gemini sextile Saturn in Aries
This brings grounding and maturity into relationships. Small, clear choices matter. Honest communication and clean boundaries support stability within change.

Friday — Mercury in Aries conjunct Chiron in Aries
A tender but important moment. Words may touch old wounds around voice and self-expression. There is also healing here. New language can emerge that is more truthful and less reactive. Stay gentle. This is about being real, not perfect.

Saturday, May 2 — Mercury enters Taurus
A shift into steadiness. The mind slows down and begins to integrate. After the intensity, this supports grounding and embodiment. Let things land.

Reflection Questions:

  • Where am I being invited to tell a deeper truth in how I relate?
  • What emotional truth is surfacing that I might usually avoid?
  • How can I stay present to both my inner experience and the wider world without losing my center?

More resources are available at the website on the edges of change.com. Hello and welcome to episode number 362 of the Astrology Alchemy Podcast. I'm your host and guide, Sheila Beja, and this is for the week of April 27th, 2026. Here's a line from this week's podcast poem, then time alone will bring us to another place. Like so many weeks, this is a profound threshold week. You may feel both the quickening of change and the weight of what is being asked to release. There's nothing wrong with you if your system is moving between insight and intensity. This is how the spiral of change works when something real is shifting. We are moving through a moment when personal experience and collective reality are so tightly interwoven. The deep instability we are witnessing in the world, in including ongoing war and forms of leadership that reflect deep wounding rather than wisdom, is not separate from our inner process. It's part of the same field. This can be hard to hold. It is a real initiation into staying present without collapsing or turning away. On Tuesday, April 28th, Venus in Gemini, trines, Pluto in Aquarius, the relational one, harmonizes with the transformer. There's an opening here. Conversations, connections, ideas may carry more depth than expected. Truth has a way of slipping through. Venus newly in Gemini, invites experimentation in how we relate. Speak and listen. Pluto in Aquarius is reshaping the collective field, including how we connect within it. This cycle is a glimpse of a larger doorway that will continue to unfold more fully as Uranus fully moves into Gemini. Something new is being seeded in how we relate. In this rapidly changing world, you might notice where your way of connecting is evolving, perhaps where old relational patterns shaped by survival identity feel thin or insufficient, where something more honest and real wants to emerge. Stay curious. Notice. And let this be a beginning on Friday, May 1st, we have the Full Moon at 11 degrees of Scorpio. This is deep water where the sun and moon balance each other in the heavens. Scorpio fu moons are always deeply initiatory. They ask for honesty at the level of emotional truth. Attachment and what we hold tightly, often unconsciously, this full moon trines Jupiter in cancer, which suggests there is wonderful support here. A kind of holding the possibility that what is revealed on a deeper level can also be nourished and integrated. And this full moon aligns with the ceremonial threshold of Beltane, a cross quarter moment of cycles in the Northern Hemisphere that honors life force fertility and the fire of becoming. There's a paradox here. The bell time tamed times speaks to vitality, creativity in the spark of new life. Scorpio speaks to depth, depth, shadow, and deep transformation, and together they remind us that true aliveness includes the willingness to feel, to release and to be changed. This is a melting point. You may notice something softening open or something revealed that shifts how you understand yourself. Again, old identities rooted in protection or control may feel less stable and at the collective level. This full moon intensity can mirror what we are seeing in the world. Power struggles, fear-based actions, and the consequences of unintegrated leadership patterns. It can be easy to either become overwhelmed or to disconnect. Scorpio energy helps us see that which is in shadow, that which is trying to be hidden. And at the full Moon in Scorpio, there's an invitation to courageously notice what's getting illuminated, not back away from it, but also to hold faith that looking deeper can help you to align with positive transformation. There's a subtle invitation here. To stay present with what is real without losing yourself to feel, without being consumed, to remain connected in your own center. Even as the larger field is turbulent, you might compassionately notice where you might be holding on outta fear. Where control has been a survival strategy where grief, anger, or deeper truths are asking to move, stay with the feelings without rushing to resolve them. Take care of yourself and trust that there is wisdom here. Also on Friday, May 1st, Venus in Gemini sex tiles, Saturn in Aries, right alongside the depth there is structure. This aspect brings a quiet steadiness. The ability to bring maturity and clarity into your connection. Saturn, the builder responsible one in Aries ask for responsibility in how we show up as individuals. Venus, the relational one in Gemini, brings this into the relational field. Small clear choices matter here. Honest communication boundaries that are clean rather than reactive. You might notice where you're being asked to take yourself more seriously in how you relate. Not in a heavy way, but in a grounded way. And then also on Friday May 1st. Mercury in Aries is conjunct. Chiron, the communicator meets the wounded healer, shamanic one. This can be tender territory. Words you speak or others offer may touch old wounds. Conversations may bring up places where your voice has been silence dismissed or shaped by defense. But this is also a healing point there. There's potential for new language around old pain, a different way of naming your experience. A reclaiming a voice that is less reactive and more rooted in truth. You might notice where speaking feels vulnerable but necessary, where listening to yourself more deeply begins to support something shifting. Stay deeply gentle here. This is not about getting it right. It's about being real. And on Saturday May 2nd, mercury enters Taurus. Here's a shift. After the intensity of speed of the fire sign of Aries, mercury slows down into the grounded tourist territory. The mind begins to ground thinking can become more deliberate, embodied, and practical. This supports integration. What has been stirred, revealed, or spoken can begin to settle into something more stable, less urgency, and more presence. You might notice an impulse to take your time to feel your way forward rather than rush let things land for you. Here are several reflection questions for you this week to support you in whatever way best serves First, where am I being invited to tell a deeper truth in how I relate, even if it feels unfamiliar. Secondly. What emotional truth or truths are surfacing that I might usually avoid or try to control? And then how can I stay present to both my inner experience and the wider world without losing my center? The podcast poem that seems ideal for this foaming moon, Scorpio Beltane Week. Whew, is called Trough by Judy Brown Trough. There's a trough in waves, a low spot. Where Horizon disappears and only sky and water are our company and there we lose our way unless we rest. Knowing the wave will bring us to its crest again. There we may drown if we let fear hold us within its grip and shake us side to side. And leave us flailing, torn, disoriented. But if we rest there in the trough, in silence, being with the low part of the wave, keeping our energy and noticing the shape of things, the flow, then time alone will bring us to another place. Where we can see horizon, see the land again, regain our sense of where we are and where we need to swim. May you find the capacity to rest in the trough and be open to when the time allows greater orientation, greater sense of where you're at. And where you need to swim to. Thank you as always for this wonderful relationship. You share with me. I don't know so many of you, and I'm so grateful. I feel your presence deeply say thank. And just a reminder, as we move through these times, you don't have to navigate your thresholds alone.
