Two significant threads weave through this week, one vast and civilizational, one intimate and alchemical. And they are speaking the same language.

At the civilizational level, Neptune in Aries sextiles Pluto in Aquarius exactly, the second of eight contacts in a sub-series running mid-July 2026 through late February 2032. The elemental grammar of the current civilizational moment — fire and air, vision and mind, the imaginal and the collective intelligence — in living generative conversation.

At the intimate level, Venus in Scorpio squares Pluto for the first time in the current retrograde cycle, the Relational Alchemist in direct confrontation with the Transformer. The first of three such squares through December. The macro and the micro asking for the same essential movement: genuine transformation rather than the management of surfaces.

A grounding opening. Precise attention and embodied knowing in easy alignment. A reminder that vast civilizational movements and deep relational alchemy both need to be lived in the body, in the specific, in the actual texture of daily life. What needs your most devoted grounded feeling-based attention right now?

Tuesday, September 15: Venus in Scorpio squares Pluto in Aquarius. Neptune in Aries retrograde sextiles Pluto in Aquarius retrograde. 

Two major contacts holding the full arc of the week.

Venus square Pluto surfaces what has been hidden in the relational field with an intensity that cannot be managed or bypassed. Power dynamics. The places where love has become entangled with control. The relational patterns operating beneath conscious awareness. This is the first of three Venus-Pluto squares through mid-December. Today is initial confrontation, the hidden dynamic being made visible. In the collective field, the distorted relationship between love, value, and power is unusually visible. The first square names it. The retrograde cycle ahead asks for its genuine transformation.

Neptune in Aries sextiling Pluto in Aquarius is the specific window (2026 to 2032) when the elemental grammar of the civilizational moment is expressed directly in the relationship between the two outermost planets. Neptune in Aries dissolving old identity at the civilizational level. Pluto in Aquarius restructuring collective power at the root. Their sextile the generative conversation between vision and transformation. With both planets retrograde, this conversation is interior — working underground, in the cultural unconscious, in the slow metabolizing that precedes genuine new form. We are not observers of this moment. We are living cells within it.

Thursday, September 17: Chiron reenters Aries, remaining until mid-April 2027.

Chiron returns to finish what was not yet fully metabolized, the wounds of identity, agency, and the right to take up space. It does not return empty-handed. The Taurus awareness of scarcity and embodied worthiness travels with it, informing the deeper Aries review. What would it mean to act and assert from genuine embodied sufficiency rather than survival-level scarcity? This chapter is completing before the long Taurus work begins.

Friday, September 18: Mercury in Libra opposes Saturn in Aries. 

The desire for relational harmony in communication meets the honest reality of what the moment is actually asking to be said. Between the diplomatic and the direct. Between words that preserve comfort and words that serve genuine truth. What needs to be said clearly this week that you have been finding careful words around? Saturn in Aries will not accept the careful words indefinitely.

So here's the key cycles for the week On Monday, September 14th, the Sun in Virgo sextiles Mars in Cancer. This week opens with a grounding and practical contact. The conscious self in Virgo's discerning, devoted mode finds easy alignment with Mars in Cancer's instinctual protective intelligence. Thought and feeling, precise attention and embodied knowing. The capacity to bring Virgo's honest, careful presence to what Mars in Cancer most needs to protect and tend This is a good opening note for a week of considerable depth A reminder that the vast big movements and the deep relational alchemy both need to be lived in your body, in the specific, in the actual texture of your daily life. Virgo and Cancer together ask, "What needs my most devoted, grounded, feeling-based attention right now?" Let that question carry you into the week On Tuesday, September 15th, Venus in Scorpio squares Pluto in Aquarius, the first of three. Neptune in Aries retrograde sextiles Pluto in Aquarius retrograde. Two significant contacts on the same day, and together they hold the full arc of what this week is carrying. First, Venus in Scorpio square Pluto in Aquarius. The relational alchemist meets the transformer in direct confrontation Venus square Pluto is one of the most intense relational transits available. It surfaces what has been hidden in the relational field with an intensity that cannot be managed or bypassed. We're talking power dynamics, the places where love has become entangled with control, the relational patterns that have been operating beneath conscious awareness, driven by survival rather than genuine cho- choice In Scorpio and Aquarius, this square carries additional layers. Venus in Scorpio is already in her most probing truth-seeking mode, willing to go where it is dark and uncomfortable in service of what is genuinely real Pluto in Aquarius is restructuring collective power and systems at the root. Their square asks, where in the relational field, both personal and collective, is power being used to suppress, contain, or distort genuine connection and genuine value? This is the first of three Venus-Pluto squares in this retrograde cycle. This series runs from now until early December. Each contact will bring a different quality of encounter with this territory Today is the initial confrontation, the pattern being named, the hidden dynamic being made visible. You may notice this as a day of unusual intensity in the relational field, a power dynamic surfacing that has been operating quietly beneath the surface. Perhaps a realization about a pattern in how you relate to others, to your own desires, to what you have been willing to claim as genuinely yours that cannot be unseen once it is seen This is not comfortable. Venus square Pluto rarely is But it is the relational alchemist doing what she came to do, transforming what has been base metal in the relational field into something that can eventually become gold In this collective field, this square lands in a moment when the distorted relationship between love, value, and power is unusually visible, as if it can be more so. The way systems of domination have always sought to control what Venus governs, the feminine, the relational, the creative, the sense of genuine worth, and resources is present in this cycle. The first square names it, the retrograde cycle ahead will ask for its genuine transformation Second big cycle of this day. Neptune in Aries retrograde sextiles Pluto in Aquarius retrograde Neptune and Pluto have been in a sextile configuration, a flowing generative aspect since the early 1950s. An eighty-year conversation between the two outermost planets about the dissolution of old collective forms and the transformation of what replaces them. But what is happening now is different in quality from that broader arc. From mid-July 2026 through late February 2032, Neptune is in Aries, and Pluto is in Aquarius. Fire and air, the imaginal and the collective intelligence. This is the specific window when the elemental grammar of the current civilizational moment is being expressed directly in the relationship between the two outermost planets themselves Neptune in Aries is bringing a new spiritual impulse, dissolving the old sense of self at the civilizational level, clearing ground for something genuinely new to emerge in how humanity understands itself and its place in the web of life. Pluto in Aquarius is restructuring collective power at the root, asking what genuine collective intelligence looks like when organized around interconnection rather than domination Their sextile is the generative conversation between these two forces, vision and structural transformation in productive dialogue, not confrontation, flowing creative alignment This exact contact today, the second of eight in this sub-series, carries that full civilizational weight. And with both planets retrograde, the conversation is interior, working underground, in the cultural unconscious, in the slow metabolizing that precedes genuine new form This is why the times feel simultaneously overwhelming and pregnant with possibility. The vast civilizational imagination is actively dissolving what is no longer true. The vast collective restructuring is actively transforming what organizes collective life. They are doing it together across a six-year window we are now inside We are not observers of this moment. We are living cells within it And the incredible synchrony of this big cycle of Neptune and Pluto exactly connecting on the day that Venus and Pluto are connecting underscores that the personal is the collective, and the collective is the personal. We are not observers of this moment. We are living cells within it, and our choices influence the bigger transformation On Thursday, September 17th, Chiron reenters Aries and will remain there until mid-April 2027. Chiron has completed its brief touch in with Taurus, the doorway into the healing of scarcity and embodied worthiness wound, and now returns to Aries to finish its work there. In episode 376, I discussed this, about Chiron going retrograde and returning to complete what has not yet been fully met- metabolized in the Aries territory Exploring and metabolizing the wounds of identity, agency, and the right to exist and assert yourself in the face of systems that deny that right to so many Healing the wound of radical disconnection and armored individualism. The mythology of the self-sufficient one who needs no one. Notice how this is playing out in the United States right now. But Chiron does not return to Aries empty-handed. It carries the touch of Taurus awareness with it about the wound of scarcity and embodied unworthiness now informing your deeper Aries review. Consider what would it mean to act, to assert, to take up space from genuine embodied sufficiency rather than the survival level scarcity that dominator culture has installed in each of us Chiron in Aries through April 2027 is finishing this chapter, bringing it to its genuine completion before it commits fully to the long Taurus work ahead. And in the context of the Venus retrograde cycle right-- about to come and the Neptune-Pluto civilizational conversation, Chiron's return to Aries adds the healing dimension to both these cycles. The personal wound of identity and agency, the collective wound of severed connection, both asking for their honest healing completion before the next chapter begins On Friday, September 18th, Mercury in Libra opposes Saturn in Aries. The communicator meets the structurer in direct tension. Mercury in Libra seeks balance, fair hearing, the right words for genuine relational encounter. Saturn in Aries is direct, demanding, and unsentimental about what is real and what is required. Their opposition can surface tension between your desire for relational harmony in communication and the honest reality of what the current moment is actually asking to be said. Between the diplomatic and the direct. Between the words that preserve comfort and the words that serve genuine truth.
