It's Lindsay here, new thought, spiritual practitioner, master's, spiritual psychology, coach, teacher, seeker, author, and all around expander of consciousness. Welcome to another Divine Download of Soulbriety podcast, where on today's episode, we are talking about the need to get it right and what has not worked and the power of trial and error. Because this is all one big conversation that we are here to have today. As I have been pondering over the course of the shifts that I've made in my own life, I am here ready to bring this divine download to you right here, right now. And I'd like to leave this off with a quote. And this is a quote from the show Castle, where Castle says, everything I've ever done, every choice I've ever made, every terrible and wonderful thing that's ever happened to me, it's all led me to right here, this moment with you. And I invite you, as we come together to know truth today, as we come together to expand consciousness and talk all things recovery, spiritual recovery, soul recovery, physical recovery, codependency recovery, all of these things that are symptoms of us living in disconnection and amnesia of our power. I invite you to begin to consider that all things are working for good in every moment. And that spirit, God, the divine mind, the infinite intelligence that guides all things in this world, in this universe, in this experience, 1s uses all things for good. 1s And I invite you to begin to consider this as we just take a breath in for a moment, letting us get centered, letting us connect, just being here now as we come together in this conversation on this new season, this new level of discussion and conscious expansion and let's do this thing. 1s So there's this very real pattern earn in life that I have come to recognize and uncover in my own life. I see it in my clients, I work with my clients to help them clear it. I see it in the peers that I am in other mentorship and coaching programs with. I see it out in the world, I see it in my family and it is this pattern of I need to control it, I need to control everything. And it's this pattern of feeling like when something feels out of control or something doesn't go the way we thought it should, that there's something wrong with that outcome, that that outcome is bad, it's no good, it's a struggle. This isn't the way I wanted it to be. And what this ends up doing, and what the heck does this have to do with recovery? Is that this is one of the things that keeps us going back to the symptoms. The symptoms as we know are the codependency, the addictions, the vices, the little things we reach for, the places we want to give our power away to the people, the situations and the circumstances outside of ourselves that we want to fight and then try to avoid our feelings around, right? So when we don't like the feeling of something, we make it wrong. 1s And so a little story as I have been really reflecting a lot on this in my own life. So if you don't know in my own life, my husband and I have recently sold our house here in Florida and we've gone full time back to the RV life, living on the road. We want to be able to be mobile and we want to be able to go and spend different seasons in different parts of the country and that's just the lifestyle we want to live. So all that being said, we made the decision to sell our house but then there was still this whole process that had to unfold, right? And this is the perfect example, example of where we can so easily get caught up in life, right? Because the actual process that had to unfold that it took from exiting out of a two bedroom house, 1s whittling down your stuff enough to move into an RV. 2s Comes with its own unique set of circumstances, of emotions, of bumps in the road, of challenges that give you the opportunity to expand and innovate, of communication breakdowns, that give you the opportunity to develop better communication with the people you're working with, right? So 1s the point that I was really reflecting on as we were going through our own process of moving out of the house and each one of us having our own individual experiences and first of all, one of the biggest things that stood out to me was my own growth in the areas of codependency. Because as my husband would have moments where he would be stressed out, I 1s began to be able to really practice not taking that on. Right? Whereas in the past, let me tell you a little bit about how I used to be in the past. In the past, I would have taken his stress and his frustration personally. I would have gotten all caught up in my story about how maybe we shouldn't go on the road and blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. Basically not being in acceptance, basically me projecting all of my stories onto the emotions and the experiences he was having and making it wrong, right? That's the point. Making it wrong. Now, in hindsight, this is over the last two weeks. In hindsight, I can already see coming back to our quote for today everything I've ever done, every choice I've ever made, every terrible and wonderful thing that's ever happened to me, it's all led me to right here at this moment with you. And so what I invite you, sobriety the listeners, to begin to consider is that everything you have ever done, every terrible and wonderful thing that's ever happened to, every decision you've made, every choice, every left turn, every right turn, every up, every down. 2s Every perceived failure has led you right here, right now, to this moment where you're listening to these words and you have no idea what may be being opened up and unleashed and activated for you right here, right now. Right? So I also used to get really caught up in, um, thinking that if my path wasn't going a certain way, it was somehow bad or wrong, right? And if it wasn't perfect the first time, I was somehow screwing it up. And that was a really frustrating way for me to live. Right. Because what didn't work for me here's the catch 22 about that, that I want to share with you, because this is what didn't work for me. And as a lion in my human design, my entire 1s power not my entire power, but a lot of my power as a teacher, a guide, a coach is in sharing. 2s With the world what didn't work. That's why I have line three. So if any of you know your human design and you are a line three, well, that line three is all about figuring out what doesn't work so you can share it with others and they can learn from your trials and errors. The evolution, my friends, is moving into the place where we recognize what didn't work isn't a failure just because it didn't work. That's not a bad thing. It's just information. And for those of us who struggle with things like addiction, it can be like, 1s well, it didn't work. And now I feel like a failure. And then that brings up all of this unhealed shame that I have and all of these heavy, dense emotions. And then I want to medicate against feeling like I'm bad feeling there's something wrong with me. So it becomes this self perpetuating loop all because 1s for me personally let me just speak for me personally, right? I didn't know about human design. I didn't know about a lot of things. As I was roller coastering and cyclone my way through my experiences with addiction. I didn't know any of this stuff. And I thought that there was something wrong with me because everything felt like a struggle. But do you guys know why it felt like a struggle in my life? It felt like a struggle in my life because I wasn't accepting. 2s The trial and error of the line three. In my human design, having a line three means it's all about trial and error for me. That's how I interface. It's how I learn, it's how I innovate. Okay? So when we take an inherent part of a design or a makeup or who we are and who we chose to be in this world and we make it wrong, well, how do you guys think that that that's going to feel, right? It's not going to feel very good. And this is what I swear is at the basis of so much of the disconnection that I experienced in my life and that many other people are still experiencing, right? And that disconnection, as we know here, from the sobriety perspective, from a new thought recovery perspective, we know that that disconnection is what then manifests as the behaviors of being strung out on the matrix codependency addiction seeking outside of ourselves. 1s And so I want to talk to you about what didn't work in the whole realm of like, this is one big conversation, right? Because I believe in universal law and I believe in the microcosm and the macrocosm and the fact that it's a hole universe and that what's true on one level is true on all levels. Right? So I really can believe that. 2s What doesn't work for all of us is trying to live as somebody else. It's trying to live specifically the way that's right. For somebody else. Like, yes, we can take suggestions. Yes, we can try different things, but then we have to also be okay with finding our own way. We have to be okay. Like, what if could you just imagine what if we could collectively begin to find the grace? That when somebody was finding their path, say, recovery from addiction to substance or recovery from addiction to codependent tendencies or people or places or things. What if we could begin to find the grace and meet ourselves with grace? Because we understood that finding our own path sometimes means we have to kind of loop back over here to get over here, right? This is what you and I, we are learning this together. This is like a lot of new kind of thinking. That's why new thought, right? That's why I love new thought so much. Because we take ancient teachings, ancient wisdom and spiritual principles and we begin to. 2s Create and receive new thoughts on how we might live, new thoughts on what might be truth, right? Because when we can begin to let go of this rigid, fixed idea that's so third dimensional, right? The fact that it has to be like this or this, it's like all polarized, and it's like you're either sober or you're not, right? Like, that's that kind of like rigid thinking. And it's not to say that being fully sober and choosing to abstain from putting anything, especially when we're recovering, isn't powerful. Yes, it is, 100%. I had to do it that way, right? I had to get fully sober. I had to remove myself. And then I began to be able to work on my consciousness, and I began to heal, and I began to expand, and I begin to be able to embody this stuff, right? And I can also look back into my twenty s and see the power of all of those brief periods of physical sobriety. And then each time I went back, it was all perfection. That's the point I'm trying to make, is that everything I've ever done, every choice, including every 1s good behavior, every good choice and every quote, unquote, bad or negative, right? Every arrest, every mistake, every error, every job that I've quit, every job that I've got fired from, every person that I've loved, every person that I've maybe gotten into an argument and felt like I hated them because I was so angry and I was so hurt. Every word I've ever uttered, all of it has contributed to who I am. This version of me right here, right now, delivering this download to each of you. And who am to judge that? Who am I to make that wrong? I have no idea what the ripple effect is from this moment. I have no idea what the ripple effect is from how I've developed and expanded my consciousness. I have no idea how far the ripples are reaching. 1s So how could I sit here and say and judge myself 2s for all of the things that landed me right here, whether that was a uturn ten times around the same circle I had to go back in and out of the same dead end 14 different times, right? And it's like we get into this habit of judging, condemning and making it wrong inside of ourselves, and then we judge, we condemn, and we make it wrong when we look outside of ourselves. And then we're just caught in a loop of judging, condemning and making everything wrong. And that's one of the most dense kind of soul sucking things we can do, because then we're just energizing that version of things, and that's just not what we're here for, right? That's not creating. I mean, it is creating, but it's creating it in a very inverted and powerless way, right? So begin to create. To begin to create in an empowered way, in a co, creative way, in an intentional way, we have to choose what we're giving our energy to, right? So what if we could begin to give our energy and our truth and our focus to the fact that everything leads us to where we are? So if I have a friend who is having her own struggles with a substance over the relationship. 3s Why would I then judge her if I fully understood that I have no idea what's being birthed for her through that struggle, through that contrast. And you guys want to keep it real, right? This is what I have to keep coming back to when I watch the state of affairs of the world and I check in on what governments are doing and what world leaders are saying and I have to keep coming back to 1s I'm not God odd. And I have no idea what the bigger picture, what's being birthed in the bigger picture right here, right now? I know on some level what's being burned in consciousness. What's being awoken and 1s brought out in consciousness is the same thing that's being brought out in my own consciousness and that's full personal sovereignty, right? It's the understanding that I'm creating my individual reality and I'm also contributing to a collective reality, right? It's a deep happening. It's an expansion. People are pulling free from the slave grid. People are unplugging themselves from the matrix in the aspect of not creating intentionally in the matrix, right? Because the matrix is the matrix. It's always going to be there. It's divine. It's what allows us to experience ourselves. 1s But when we're not doing that consciously and intentionally, we're getting all caught up and we're getting inverted, right? And we're getting dragged around and we're not creating what we desire or we feel disempowered by what we're creating. So the message here today is to begin to recognize that each one of you is powerful and you have the capacity and the ability to create anything you desire. But the key is to begin to energize eyes and focus on what you want. And so if what you are desiring is love and harmony and peace and joy, then you have to begin to energize those things. Right? And that's going to start within you. It's going to start with you accepting that everything that you have walked, everything you have done, everything you have chosen has been perfect to lead you to right here, right now. And even if everything in your life is not exactly as you wish it would be, can you begin to trust and believe that everything you are doing and choosing and believing in right now is shaping and molding and directing you towards that next layer of the things that you desire? Right? Because that's exactly how it happened to me. Happened for me is that each step of the journey, as I expanded, as I unfolded, as I allowed myself to begin to recognize what wasn't working and I began to be able to look at what wasn't working and let it go without grief, without shaming myself, without guilt. It wasn't working for me to live in a house. So I let it go. Did I have people? All right. You're doing what? Why would you do that? Oh, my God. Your security, gas prices. There's 1000 things people want to throw at you when they don't understand your decisions. 1s They don't need to understand them. Only you do. Only you do. Because when you understand your decisions and your choices and you understand who you are and what life you are here to live, all of that stuff stops mattering. And that is the real power of liberating yourself from the external validation, the addiction, the manifestation of that disconnection. Because, my friends, each one of you is a powerful divine badass. You are expressions of the one spirit, the source, the I am the Creator, the great Creator. You are individualized expressions of that. Each one of you is backed by all of the infinite intelligence of the cosmos. So right here, right now, I just declare that I see you. I recognize you. I know what you are here to do. And I am in so much gratitude, as I know your willingness to listen, to receive, to expand is already leading you. I know that everything you desire, it is done. It is done. It is done. It is the divine seeking expression through you. So I just declare today, right here, right now, that each of you has the courage, it's awakening within you. You have the bravery, you have the clarity, because there's only clarity in divine mind. Anything else is confusion in your own mind, and that can be cleared out, wiped out. So I just declared a release of that. And I just declare trust and knowing for each of you in your own paths. 2s As I am in so much gratitude for each and every one of you. And I just released this up knowing my word is law. I know it is done. I know it is heard. I know you are exactly where you need to be, and I trust that to the deepest layers of my own heart and soul. And so it is, my friends. Thank you so much for joining me.
