SPEAKER_01:Friends of mine, you're listening to Light of Life Podcast with your host, Bishop Nathaniel Lewis Bond. I want you to stay tuned for the next few moments of time. There's a word to inspire you, edify you, strengthen your faith, encourage you. I believe what you need from God, God has it for you waiting on you today. We're getting ready to go into a message that I pray will inspire, encourage, and uplift you and yours. Without further delay, let's go into service already in progress. I want you to open your Bibles real quick and give me a few minutes from 2 Corinthians 5 and 7. It's a short scripture. Everybody help me. For we walk by faith. And not by sight. Again. God bless you. You may be seated. For about 15 minutes. I want to talk about living with the spirit of expectancy.
SPEAKER_02:The
SPEAKER_01:first revival I ever preached in in my life was 50 some years ago. God saved me that July. And that fall, I was preaching. And I was in Decatur, Illinois. I ended up moving there. And I read Acts chapter 3. The man at the gate asking alms, born lame, carried from his mother's womb. Peter and John said, look on us.
UNKNOWN:Yes.
SPEAKER_01:And the Bible said he gave heed unto them, expecting to receive something from them. I believe praise is a spirit of expectancy. I noticed how God stepped in last Sunday when the women's choir was singing, I'm looking for a miracle. I need somebody to jump up real quick and just look around. I don't know where it is, but I'm looking for it. tell somebody, I'm looking for a miracle. I expect the impossible. Jump up again and just look around because, girl, you don't know what God got. God got some money. God got a position. God has a job. You don't know who going to call you next week. I felt that. I felt that. I felt that. I felt that. You don't know what the next phone call going to be. what the spirit of expectancy tell David said I would have fainted unless I believed to see tell somebody when my money was funny I believed to see when friends walked out I believed to see when people walked out I believed to see and tell somebody I don't care how dark it is for you right now get the spirit of expectancy God has prepared for those that do you love him? love him, then God got some fire. Do you love him? Do you praise him? Will you give him the glory? Will you honor him? Then God's looking for you. I'm reminded of what I preached Wednesday night in Jackson. I got to talking about pre-Pentecost and I was in Luke 24 and They returned to Jerusalem with great joy. I believe your joy says, I'm looking for something. How many of you with no money in your pocket ever felt joy just get to ringing down in your soul? Tell somebody, for some reason, I feel joy bells ringing. I can hear angels singing. God's getting ready to bless you. God's getting ready to bless you. Tell somebody, I see a blessing coming. I see a breakthrough coming. Breakthrough coming, Johnny. Breakthrough coming, Deacon. Breakthrough. Shout breakthrough. Breakthrough. Shout break out. Jump up and look down at your sin and say, I'm looking for it. I'm looking for it. Now since you're on your feet, tell somebody, forget those things which are behind you. And reaching forth to those things which are before. Press, press. It's not easy, Johnson, but press. Uphill journey, but press. Have to cross sometimes, but press. Low get heavy, but press. It's been a hard year for me, but I press. Put your finger at Lady Barton and say, press! Put it at your neighbor and say, press! Hop on somebody and say, press! breakthrough coming. I see breakthrough coming. I see breakthrough coming. I see a blessing coming. You're not gonna ride the same car. You're not gonna live in the same house. I see breakthrough. I'll give him praise if you feel what I feel. We move in our faith. See, I said that's what's pulled me, John. My faith pulls me. Look, look, look, look. Y'all excuse me for a moment. But here's my blessing over here. I wish I had two low stones. But here's my blessing over here. I'm over here, but I feel something pulling me. Tell somebody, I got to shout because I feel something pulling me. I'm like, I feel something pushing me. Somebody ought to shout amen. Tell somebody, Lone Stone's getting ready to connect. I feel a magnetic force. I feel something drawing me your way. I feel something drawing me. Look at somebody and tell them, I got this job because God pulled me here. I got this blessing because God pulled me. I feel a blessing chasing you. Look over your back, girls. I'm chasing you. I see a blessing chasing you. I see point through chasing you. to them expecting to receive something from them. Here's a man laying, carried from his mother's womb. And I hear Peter saying, seven gold have I none, but such as I have, give I thee. In the name of Jesus, rise up. Grab somebody's hand and say, rise up. It's time for you to walk. They may have brought you here, but you're going to walk out of here. I feel a miracle coming. I feel breakthrough coming. I feel God getting ready to open a door. God's getting ready to make a way. God's Get ready to bless ya! Run to three people, high five them and say breakthrough!
UNKNOWN:Breakthrough!
SPEAKER_01:There's a blessing with your name on it. There's a healing with your name on it. There's God gonna do something and he gonna do it for you. Y'all hear me with this. Bishop Richard Mr. Clean White, dead and gone, but he sang a song, the devil's a liar. and a cheat or two because god ain't through blessing you tell coach god ain't through blessing you coach you tell jerry then turn around and tell tell them i'm telling you so much you got to keep up Somebody wrote a song and said, what's your name on it? Tell somebody, God's got a blessing. What's your name on it? Tell somebody, I got my name on it. There's a house with my name on it. There's a new car with my name on it. There's a whole lot of money with my name on it. up and get happy right now. And Sister Georgia, while you got your hands up, say, I'm walking by faith and not by sight. Tell your neighbor, my faith tells me God's gonna do it. My faith tells me I'm going to be healed. My faith tells me I'm going to be blessed. My faith tells me God's getting ready to open a door. I might as well give it up. I might as well give it up. Somebody say, he's been preaching 50 plus years. Listen at this, listen at this. Joel said in Joel, what is it, 2 and 21 or something like that. Joel said, Joel said, fear not, O land.
UNKNOWN:Yes.
SPEAKER_01:Johnson, stomp every fear that ever came at you, brother. Just stomp it. Stomp it. Stomp it. Jerry, stomp every fear that ever came at you. Somebody stomp that fear. Stomp that devil. Stomp that devil. Stomp. Kirk Prickler said stomp. And shout, Prenado. for the Lord. It's going to do great things. Shout great things. Shout great things. Shout great things. Shout great things. Great things. I wish I had two or three people just run around the church shouting great things. I mean, holler. Holler.
UNKNOWN:Holler.
SPEAKER_01:some bad things, but I'm here to tell you God's gonna do some great things. Give somebody's hand, look at them in the eyeballs and tell them whatever you do, get rid of fear. Cause God's gonna do it. God's gonna do it. God's gonna do it. Missionary Denise Reed, God's gonna do it. God's gonna do it. Help me go off and say, do it, do it, do it. So let me tell you, walk in the spirit of expectancy. Tell somebody, I don't care what they're saying, I'm expected. I think it was the Reverend Al Sharpton, believe it or not, was preaching at the Civic Center in Jackson. And he got to talking about the Virgin Mary. How she was pregnant with child. And you know all kind of opinions were around. Can you imagine a girl walking around saying she's pregnant, but she says, I know not a man. Girl, you know she lie. You know she cry. Girl, she don't. But I'm going to tell you somebody who really knew. Tell somebody, say, Mary knew. And so it don't make no difference what they saying about you. It's what you know. Tell somebody, I know God's going to do it. Help me shout, the Holy Ghost told me. I got a feeling that everything, everything your hands and praise them gonna be alright. Now go down your row and high five everybody on your row and tell them God's gonna do it. Tell them God's gonna do it. Somebody, I see you in your new house. I see you with your new car. I see you with a bank account. And baby, I ain't talking about$50 either. the dance. we have just been inspired on the Light of Life podcast. Faith cometh by hearing and hearing by the Word of God. God want to do something special for you and yours in the name of Jesus. Shall we pray? Father God, let the words of my mouth speak life to those that are listening now. Bring salvation, bring healing, Strengthen us where we're weak. Build us up where we're torn down. From this moment forward, may they walk in victory. The head and not the tail. Lenders and not borrowers. Above only and not beneath. Go with them and stand by them. Keep them healed and saved. Encourage and bless right now. I rebuke the spirit of discouragement. In the name of Jesus, we pray. Amen and
SPEAKER_00:amen.
