SPEAKER_01

Well, hello everyone and welcome back to the Divas At Care. My name is Candace Gish. Well, everybody, we have a great show for you. As I had mentioned, we are on a series of programs right now. We're going to be talking to these amazing authors that are now part of an anthology that the Divas at Care has put together. Today's guest is Linda Roberts. She's exactly what we wanted in our anthology because of her story. Linda, before we kind of dive into that, would you mind introducing yourself to all of our listeners today?

SPEAKER_02

Oh yeah, thank you so much for having me. It's a pleasure to be here. Yeah, so I am a professional animal communicator. And it's funny because I didn't even know animal communication existed eleven years ago. Um but I I because of the love of my horse and my other animals that are in my life, I became a professional animal communicator. Now I help thousands of people and their animals to uh make healthy choices, to change behaviors and and to deepen their love and connection for one another.

SPEAKER_01

Oh my goodness. I love that. And as I as you know, I was kind of talking about different things earlier. I I didn't actually tell you the name of our anthology, which I do apologize. It's Animal Prince on My Soul. And you have an amazing story in there. And I'm really excited because I had the opportunity to read it, but I want to ask you one question here is why you decided to write this particular story because we fantastic.

SPEAKER_02

Oh, thank you. Thank you. Well, it's it's about a dear hawk, um, a reformed hawk who was being rehabbed, and she and I um developed quite the the connection. And you know, it's it's not it's not every day that someone gets the opportunity to to have a a strong emotional bond with a wild animal. And so that's why I felt called to share her story. She also just passed this year in 2021. So I wanted to honor her in this way.

SPEAKER_01

And what an amazing thing. You know, we don't hear a lot about birds. I have been such a uh lover of birds for so many years. I started my own little bird sanctuary in my my yard. I I live on an acreage and I have bird things everywhere because there's something about a bird when I I look at it. It's just there it just it brings a smile to my face. And this particular story, like, why was it important to share with all of our listeners?

SPEAKER_02

Well, I wanted to share it because um this this hawk, and and I refer to her as Hawk, that was that was the name that she was given um at the preserve where I volunteered at and where I helped her, um, she taught me to stand in my power. If I didn't stand in my power with her, she was gonna do something not, you know, to harm me or to uh uh I don't know, insult me or or you know, whatever it may be. But I had to stand in my power. And so she I was leaving an abusive marriage, and I needed to be able to stand in my power for myself and for my children and for my animals. And this red tail hawk who I had the privilege of taking care of, she showed that to me through through her mannerisms, through the this the minute conversations we had with each other once or twice a week. And and her teachings and her wisdom just were amazing. And I'm so grateful that she was in my life and allowed me to to step into my power and then to share that wisdom with other women.

SPEAKER_01

Well, and I think that's important because a lot of people don't realize, you know, how much of an impact an animal is in our life, not just the pets that are in our home, like our dogs and our cats, and a lot of our our listeners have horses, but it's the animals in nature. Um and that's why I really resonated with your story. With in regards to animal communication, some of our listeners might not understand what that is about. So can we just talk a little bit about that?

SPEAKER_02

Yes, definitely. So animal communication, as I'm referring to it, is also known as telepathy. So it's that it's it is an energy exchange that happens between um one being and another being, and those beings can be interspecies. They can be human to cat, or dog to cat, or horse to human. It can go in between species. And it's it's this energy exchange where these thoughts and these feelings and these emotions are transferred back and forth between each other. And being aware of you know what your thoughts, what your emotions are, allow you to then pick up and receive the messages from the animals. Um, it's not reading body language. I do 98% of my clients, I've never physically seen. I do these sessions virtually, and I have clients all around the world who I've been able to help and to to give clear answers to to help their humans from illness issues to behavior problems to lost or missing pets.

SPEAKER_01

I I love that because when we're around our animals, they know what's going on and they're able to help us through a transition. And as I had mentioned to you before the program started, I had uh an animal in my life that we had just put down. Um she had gotten really old and sick, and and it was absolutely devastating. And I took a moment to reflect on the journey that her and I have had, you know, the last 16 years. And it was amazing because I didn't realize until that moment when I sat down and reflected, and and I probably would have really appreciated somebody like you to be able to talk me through this, but I was like, oh my goodness, she was there through so many times that I didn't realize that I really needed her. And that communication between the two of us and how she was helped me through my journey was amazing, and I will always be grateful for that.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, absolutely. I'm so sorry for your loss. Excuse me, but no, that their their souls are still around us, and um, even when they transition, they still watch over us. I always say, you know, you've got another angel looking out for you. Um and it is possible for you to stay connected with her through your heart, uh, just you know, simply by having uh a remembering of her. And you know, sometimes we'll get signs, sometimes we'll get um imagery of them or uh a smell or you know, a song that reminds us of them, you know, whether it it's an animal or a person. Um but souls never forget one another. And I I do believe in reincarnation, and I have seen it play out in many, many, many clients where their beloved dog comes back 10 or 20 years later in another form. So just know that souls never forget one another and and you can reunite with them again whenever the timing is right.

SPEAKER_01

Oh, I love that. And I that's why I love your story, you know, li life lessons from a red tail hawk. And I thought, you know what, it that's what it is. We're these life lessons that we're learning from these amazing animals in our lives. So tell me about your other animals. Yes.

SPEAKER_02

So um, so I've got a dear horse, Howie. Um he's an Arabian. He's actually the reason why I got started with animal communication because he had chronic illnesses. He kept colicing. And um I I had to figure out what to do for him, so I wanted to know, you know, how are you feeling? And um I I started to meditate and I I started to learn how to communicate with him. Um so there's there's Howie. Um he's been in my life for 13 years, bless his soul. And um and then I have two uh two Shelties, and uh they've been with me for 12 years, um, helping me through the divorce, through the loss of my mother. Oh my gosh. They they are my rocks. Um and then I rescued a couple of cats as kittens, and they they helped, they they were like therapy for my one child who was having some very challenging times as a teenager. Um and um fortunately those times have passed, but the the cats are still here and they're loving and supporting me through all of my endeavors. It's amazing, isn't it?

SPEAKER_01

I I love that. You don't even realize sometimes that you surround yourself with the uh these animals. And as a kid I had these dogs, and then as I grew up I had horses and I had chickens and I had uh goats and all these different animals that I surrounded. I'm like, why do I have all these animals? But we're surrounding ourselves ourselves with things and they're helping us through these journeys and and my parents always laughed at me because I used to play the saxophone for my chickens. But I found that that was the most relaxing time I had. A lot of my parents didn't want me to have do this in the house, but it was amazing how uh wonderful I felt after I was done. I'm like, I felt like I accomplished something, and it was just that bonding experience. And to bond with an animal, I think everybody needs to do it. Yeah, definitely.

SPEAKER_02

Music is therapy, so it was probably therapeutic for you and for the chickens.

SPEAKER_01

Exactly. Oh my gosh. You know what? I am excited, Linda. I'm excited for all of our listeners to check out our stories. Um one of the things I want to ask you is how can our listeners get a hold of you? We're gonna have your information in our ontology, but for the listeners that are checking us out right now, how can they get a hold of you?

SPEAKER_02

Oh, yeah, definitely. They can go to my website and find out more about me and my services that I offer. I also have a video sample of what uh remote healing looks like and how it how it transpires. Um my website is www.thewhispersoflove.com. That's T-H-E, Whispersoflove.com. Perfect.

SPEAKER_01

And Linda, what I'll be doing is that I'll be putting your website on the social media so that all of our listeners can check it out. Great, thank you. Well, thank you so much.
