Ep 06 - Buying and Selling Property in Historic Districts in NC

Cape Fear REALTORS in collaboration with The Historic Wilmington Foundation (HWF) and The City of Wilmington's Preservation Department is bringing to members this one-of-a-kind CE Event, the elective course: "Buying and Selling Property in Historic Districts in NC" on Friday, May 12, 2023, 12:00 pm - 4:00 pm followed by a fun and educational walking tour of historic properties.  Doors will open at 11:00 for lunch provided by sponsor: Kelly Barnes of Southern Trust Mortgage.

Course location? We can't think of a more historic (and beautiful!) backdrop for this course than City Council Chambers in the historic Thalian Hall 310 Chestnut Street in downtown Wilmington! 

At course completion students should be able to understand the workings of historic districts and be able to explain issues to both sellers and buyers who are not familiar with historic district controls and goals. The class will be led by instructor Stephen Sulkey.
