Speaker 1:

Hey, hi, it's me Mama Q. I welcome you to Moments in Q. Let me interview you bonus episode In Q today Hawaii and Tells of ["Hawaii and Tells of"] Hawaii. I give you the greeting of the day and I'm explaining the why of this episode. Do you know what today is? It's our anniversary Anniversary. Happy first pod anniversary. Thank you so much for walking with me this past year. Here's the bonus episode with my partner, my sugar daddy, the love of my Mike Foxtry life. He exists, he is real and we're going to be talking about some real things from Polly Amory spirituality who do in our relationship. So enjoy this bonus episode. I will see you February 2024. And remember, we don't boys. ["hawaii and Tells of"] Tells of.

Speaker 1:

These interviews, first and foremost, are for the ancestors and descendants. I want to honor the ancestors and the spiritual practice of who do by talking about them by name and explaining what it means to us. Then I want the descendants to learn more about their family members in hopes of learning something new about our family to share with future descendants a time capsule, if you will. And also people perk up when you talk about them, so that's a bonus too. Today's episode is brought to you by this quote it's our year, signed every Cowboys fan each year. ["hawaii and Tells of"]. Hey, hi, it's me, mama Cute, and I'm here with another interview. You have heard about him so many times the man, the myth, the legend, the boob thing, the love of my Mike Fox tri life. It's our anniversary of the podcast, and so I thought that it was only right to prove y'all that he exists. Say what's up, boob thing.

Speaker 2:

I do exist. I do exist.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, y'all, he exists. So again, this is the anniversary of my podcast for one year, so grateful and thankful to have it, for people to be rocking and my number one fan sitting right in front of me and stuff. We're at the 11th hour trying to get it together because he's a procrastinator. I blame you, but yeah, so again, I'll be back February. In the meantime, in between time, you'll have bonus episodes of me interviewing people. All right, so how you doing boob thing?

Speaker 2:

I'm doing pretty good, can't complain yet.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, you been not complaining at all. You with me. Shoot what you talking about, All right, so we're going to start up with these questions. Talks to each other like we always do. See where it goes from there, and I'm pretty confident we'll still be together after this, what you think?

Speaker 2:

The baitable 20% positive.

Speaker 1:

20%, 20% positive. All right, here comes the one more questions. If you had a time machine, would you fix your past mistakes or see your future?

Speaker 2:

That's a pretty good question. I would probably fix my past mistakes. I think everybody would prefer to go back to when it was 2018, if I knew what I knew now, correct their problems and change their future. Me I probably would make sure my credit was inject up in my early years of 18 to 21.

Speaker 1:

OK, I can see that, even though I'm the ones who's asking these questions. I don't know. I would rather see my future, because your answer is a good one, but I guess maybe from looking at too much of back to the future. And what was that other one that we saw recently with? Was that Invincible when they did yeah, yeah, when they did the no, it wasn't Invincible. What was that movie? It was the Past and the Future. You had saw on YouTube or something. Oh, girl had the time machine.

Speaker 2:

Oh, you said oh, I don't remember the name of it. Shoot, Damn this bit. Thought it escaped me.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, leave me alone, ok, so whenever I mess up and my number one fan hears it in all ways, I think that's going to be the title. That thought escaped me, anyway. So whatever movie I'm talking about, there were women who got stabbed 16 times on their 16th birthday, and so when they decided to go into the Past to try to prevent it, one of the scientists had said something, and I'll paraphrase knowledge about you don't mess up the timeline. That's a myth, something like that. So, whatever, whatever. So I don't know. I just kind of want to see the future Because, you know, you're my proof. I love my life and I don't want to fix my mistakes, because my mistakes is what made me be with you.

Speaker 2:

Well, what if, in the future, you saw that I cheated on you with another girl, so you're going to go back in the Past and break up with me about something that I did in the future? That ain't easy.

Speaker 1:

Um, yeah, I mean, well, I did have that dream that you were cheating on me and you went to the mall when you were away from me. You didn't cheat on me, but you did go to the mall. So I accepted you then because I was like that's a different dimensional boo thing. The boo thing that I'm with now won't cheat, yeah, yeah, because, if not, the ancestors got him, anyway. Second one would you rather sell or van life around the world?

Speaker 2:

I would probably sell.

Speaker 1:

Because you can swim and I can't.

Speaker 2:

Yes, because we would sell together.

Speaker 1:

I can't swim. Why not van life? I love driving, I can't swim.

Speaker 2:

Van life would probably be OK too, but if I'd been, I would try to drive from the United States to Russia. I mean, I know they say you can't really do it, but I thought if it's the coldest part, when it's ice, you probably can drive across again.

Speaker 1:

Oh, I want to risk it. Okay, all right. Last one more question as a dessert connoisseur what's the best thing besides me? What's the best thing you've eaten? Yeah, yeah, you nasty.

Speaker 2:

No, I was actually when I was overseas. It was a restaurant in Kuala Lumpur. Now it was in Saudi. It was called the Tower. They had this cheesecake. The cheesecake tastes like heaven. It was so good. It was the best dessert I ever had in my life.

Speaker 1:

Just a regular cheesecake.

Speaker 2:

It was like a raspberry type topping on top of it. It was so good, it was fluffy. It was better than any cheesecake. It's not a level cheesecake that matters. That cheesecake I had, oh okay, all right.

Speaker 1:

Well, thanks for that. I'm churning it. Wait a little bit. I made you bake the last one.

Speaker 2:

That's the second best thing.

Speaker 1:

I'm like, yes, yeah, they can't see you, but I can see you.

Speaker 2:

Yeah.

Speaker 1:

Aquas. Yeah, all right, we're moving on to my moments and cue questions. All right, what is who do to you?

Speaker 2:

Okay, before we get together.

Speaker 1:

Before I allowed you in my space.

Speaker 2:

Before I agreed to let you be part of the winning team. Who do? To me was a cheap version of voodoo, like, if you can't afford voodoo, we get who do? That's what I'll before Now. I think that who do is venerating the ancestors, using their spiritual energy to, I guess, particular in your daily life as you go.

Speaker 1:

Wow, that was the best answer, because, well, I mean also you kind of cheated, because I mean you see me do this and so you know what is it? Damn, that escapes me, motherfucker, oh God. Oh well, yeah, because you've seen me. But it's okay, that's fine, all right. So the next one. But oh man, I don't have it together and I took my meds. I think I'm kind of nervous being around you.

Speaker 1:

Anyway, um, yeah, that was and I'm not just saying this that, yeah, that was the best answer, even though, like I said, you just cheated a little bit because you see me do different things within the practicing of who do. But I like that, I like that. You got this, you got it, you got the right stuff. Oh yeah, all right. So name a moment where you can make this ish up, because that's what I call it, or I'll say you can't make this shit up, whichever one, depending on how I feel. And I titled that because in my experience, there's been times where, like, things align themselves so perfectly that it's like undeniably like you cannot make this shit up. So you can. You can answer that in regards to spirituality, religion, where there's no denying that there's a God, a higher, higher creator, Jesus, whatever way you want to describe and, as always, there's no wrong or right. Asher.

Speaker 2:

Honestly, I don't really have a moment like that, mainly because I am. I'm not a Christian by any means, but I believe in Jesus. But I don't think that he actively works like, okay, I'm going to come down here and I guess what folks say answer prayers? I guess I don't believe he does it. I believe he does no monitors and let you go about your life. So I guess, if you would say, can't make this stuff up, no, I just think things happen on random.

Speaker 2:

Okay, there's no higher power, they're all milling in there. It might be a high power overseeing, but they don't necessarily involve themselves. And I really think like that. Because when you think about those serious things that happened in the world, I would think that, although I can't understand the meaning why they let a five year old get shot in the head, I would like to think that somewhere that that high power would at least let the killer be found. Yeah, and it'd be a lot of instances where they killer doesn't get found. You day and be with the 15 year old girl in the woods in the box.

Speaker 1:

Yeah.

Speaker 2:

And nobody ever find out who did it. So I would think that somewhere we will be a resolution to that. So that's why I don't think I don't really focus on a I can't believe this happened or you can't make this stuff up moment.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, I mean what you just said was a whole bunch of negative stuff. I mean, I know from doing Reiki on you when you were away from me, left me for so long, I had did long distance Reiki on you and here it is that I knew what parts of your body were aching or hurt and stuff like that. So I mean, again, there's no wrong or right answer, but you made it just so sad and morbid. But like for me. I mean I always have a can't make this shit up response anyway but like to me, that was a moment that I had hoped to quote unquote prove to you that that this stuff, as far as Reiki that I do, is real.

Speaker 1:

You don't you're. It's not like you're skeptical, well, no, let me fix that. It's not like you don't believe me or believe in it. You're just sometimes skeptical. So for me, when I was able to do long distance Reiki on you and without knowing where you were hurting, and I could tell you that to me was a part, well, the many times of can't make this issue. But again.

Speaker 2:

it will look. I was just kind of like a moulder and scully from the X-File I think more than what the one they believed in scully, but you know she saw all the aliens that she went through all this stuff with them. She did like is it really, though? That's kind of thing how I think is?

Speaker 1:

our thing, our relationship, there you go.

Speaker 2:

Put yeah, your, your, your blessing.

Speaker 1:

Oh yeah, I'm the blessing.

Speaker 2:

Yeah Well, who's the catch?

Speaker 1:

Me Duh, yeah, yeah, next question yeah, better be All right. So growing up in Memphis, tena Key, did you learn any hoodoo type of rituals, sands, old wives, tales, things like that, for example, not to eat everyone's spaghetti or sweeping other feet, and please do not say Jojo the Bootyman.

Speaker 2:

Well, jojo the Bootyman is not a ritual. I mean no, okay, anybody that, if you want to just Google being Hampton, jojo the Bootyman, uh, scared in a candy man or Bloody Mirror, but I think, growing up not knowing that there was anything to do with spiritual, or I guess we just superstitious for us.

Speaker 1:

Maybe that's a better word to, but yeah, superstitious.

Speaker 2:

Step on the Craig, break your mama back yeah, if you saw a black cat got to walk like seven steps back or something. Or as you have bad luck, or you break a mirror, yeah, of course the spaghetti that's I think most Southern people is big on, or you can't even eat about it, spaghetti. I'm not going to get it to what I missed. Maybe you will, but I did.

Speaker 1:

I mean as a loyal listener. You should have known that I took care of that, maybe episode one or two because I recited the great and wonderful Project Pat a nigga, that's down for the crown man.

Speaker 2:

Like I was surprised you remembered it. It would be in your age, wow. So yeah, I don't know a couple of those superstitions that I grew up with and I really didn't think it would be part of a hoodoo African tradition until I got with you or until I allowed you to get with me.

Speaker 1:

I allowed you to get with me, all right.

Speaker 1:

It was consensual. Yeah, yeah, don't be giving me those bedroom eyes the way you acted anyway. So, like, like some of that stuff, um, I wouldn't say that it is who do per se is voodoo. No, you know, voodoo is a religion. But some of that stuff within, as I've said many, many times before when I use the spaghetti one, because there are bodily fluids that we all have that helps the universe Like that's your DNA literally and it also helps the universe pinpoint who you are. It's like there's different levels to it and if you can get somebody's hair or DNA, that's like the highest and the lowest can be like their signature or photo of them in it.

Speaker 1:

Um, so some of these sayings, I mean you could kind of put that in who do? And there wouldn't be anything wrong with it, but definitely the um spaghetti and sweeping of the feet, um, you could say the same with stepping on a crack, because I mean you, yeah, that would be a stretch Armstrong, but I feel like you could, because there's power within words, um, and you know this, but you still like to say the crazy things that you say. Do not say it right now. Thank you, um, so there is power in words and power in your steps and stuff like that. So again I could see it happening. But yeah, that's fine, all right. So I know I'm asking you questions, but do you have any questions about the things I do, such as Reiki, who do playing cards, all of that stuff? I feel like you shouldn't because you've never asked me. But hey, go for it.

Speaker 2:

Well, I guess for the listeners, what's the craziest thing? You well, I guess for you would be considered normal, but for somebody's not in, who do well, is the crazy thing that you have done in the hood religion.

Speaker 1:

Um, I have some stories that I can, I can share, since they got really past.

Speaker 2:

Um, not Okay it's not crazy, but I have done um workings.

Speaker 1:

Other people call them spills and I can call them spills too, but usually in who do they call it workings? Um, I've done workings for others and it literally has worked out. Um, let's see one person in particular. You know that person, but I'll say their name um, off the mic. Um, after we're done with this.

Speaker 1:

Um had asked me to do a spail For them and I did um for money and the first time ever, that candle like exploded in a way where my um smoke detector went off and they freaked me out because I've never done it and thinking about it now, I probably shouldn't have. And so that's one of the reasons why, number one, I don't do workings um for other people anymore unless it's family. And then do you see something? Okay, that's one why I don't do workings for other people. This is not family. And number two, um, again, if it's not for family, I won't put it on my ancestral altar. I'll um, I have my own makeshift altar that I'll do workings for other people.

Speaker 1:

The second thing dealing with that person was that they wanted a candle done for them to get money that someone owed them, and I had just kept getting on this person like yo. I wrote I put in so much energy, time and effort into this candle and to getting the herbs correct into the petition paper. Every single thing, do do it. Well, they were being hardheaded. So I sent them a text message because, again, there's powers and words, and I had um. I'm not going to say the exact words, but I had basically told them that um it, that um. I'm calling on my ancestors to um get them if they don't get the um candle taken care of. So of course, I was ignored. That was Friday. That Sunday, no, that Monday came and I said hey, how was your weekend? Was it good, as I expected? And they had said to me that I am working on the candle right now. I'm going to light it today.

Speaker 2:

And I'm like why?

Speaker 1:

And they had twisted their ankle and they used to do what is those four wheels? Or something like that. They um, draw four wheels and normally a four wheel wheel or wheel gets stuck. But this one got super, super stuck in the mud and stuff. So I was like, huh, I bet you, next time I tell you to do something, you'll do it. So yeah, so that's normal to me, but maybe not so um normal to someone else. So did that answer your question?

Speaker 2:

It was pretty nice, it was pretty nice.

Speaker 1:

Okay, good, all right, we're going to move on to spirituality questions and stuff, even though what we just did talking about who do, but those are just my main cue questions that I asked everybody. All right, do you believe in karma?

Speaker 2:

Uh, yes, I do believe that. But whatever you do to somebody, uh, it will be returned to you. Uh, then why kind of base? Try to be nice and giving this by possibly, can, so hopefully, with a big good karma or bad karma? Did I deserve karma away?

Speaker 1:

Yeah, I, oh, another story time. Now, this was before I officially started practicing hoodoo, so this is a twofer. But this also deals with karma. So my high school sweetheart had cheated on me. Seen here in high school, we went to do different high schools and we broke up after that month because my heart was broken, blah, blah, blah, and so we were supposed to go back with being each other and I felt like he stood me up for the date. So I was at the movie theaters he didn't live too far from it.

Speaker 1:

So once he I can't even remember if I looked at the movies like go in, or if I just went to the moves and then went to his house or what have you.

Speaker 1:

I don't know the exact cause. That was a long go, but anyway, point is, eventually, obviously, I left the movie theater, went down the street around the corner to his house, saw his car, keyed his car and we went to the same church together. So Sunday before I took communion cause, the type of Christian denomination I belong to, they would do communion every Sunday, so not just the first Sunday of the month. So me I'm not wanting anything to happen to me I was like, ooh, I gotta tell you I keyed your car and then I did my whole part in the name of all of a sudden, holy Ghost took the bread, took the juice and then cause it's like I feel better. So anyway, like, maybe less than a week later, my car had a freak. There was a freak accident with my car where I opened up the driver's side and I I guess a pebble or a rock bust out the window.

Speaker 2:

Amen and.

Speaker 1:

I was like shit, I'll never do anything to him again and I did not. But the cool thing is that after I keyed his car cause I never knew he and of the car was a real thing to fuck up somebody's paint After I did that, nothing went well with his vehicle. After that, one of the women that he cheated on me with told the entire school what happened to him. The paint was peeling off. It was just all that. I was like okay, yeah.

Speaker 2:

I guess one of mine would be. Back in my younger days I used to mess with people. They had significant others and when back when, so when I got in a relationship, the person I would end up cheating on me. So I felt that pain of what you would miss when somebody was with a significant other. So, yeah, karma is real. So what you do, it'll come around and he'll get you back.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, and like I said from that moment, for the most part I ain't gonna always be 100%, but for the most part I too try my best to treat people right and I don't try to be like some practitioners who you did this to me, so I'm gonna get I'm a quote, unquote sick my ancestors on you. I'm not that type of person. I give people, I believe, more chances than I should, and when it reaches a fever pitch I guess that's what I'm trying to say that's when I'm like okay, ancestors, can you help take care of my lightweight? And I view it as a defense mechanism. But yeah, I try my best to treat people right in hopes that I won't have to do that. So what about reincarnation? You believe in it?

Speaker 2:

Part of me does believe that when you die you'll come back as somebody else or something else, but I think they would suck Like I don't know if I really wanna come Like if I, once I'm gone, I don't wanna come back again.

Speaker 1:

But it wouldn't be. It wouldn't be like boop thing, love in my life.

Speaker 2:

It could be like I'm not gonna remember anything, yeah, so if I wanna come back, even if I'm a plant, I don't care. I wanna remember my previous life. What's the point of coming back to life as if I came back as a girl and I can't remember anything from this life. So I mean, I'm just going through life. I'm just gonna make the same mistakes as I did in my previous life and never learned anything. So part of me hoping that reincarnation is not real. But if you look at how the world or nature works, rain comes from the sky, hits the ground, does what it does, evaporates, goes back into the sky and just goes over. So everything in life is kind of a circle.

Speaker 1:

Circle of life.

Speaker 2:

So maybe it is true, maybe it is how it works, who knows? Nobody else can remember. Well, anybody that passed never have came back to say what it did or didn't do, and maybe that is how some people you look in history books. You've got a celebrity that looks like this king.

Speaker 1:

Oh yeah.

Speaker 2:

So maybe that is true, but, like I said, I'm hoping that is not true.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, I believe. Even though this is an interview, I'm gonna answer some of these questions too. I don't care.

Speaker 2:

As you should.

Speaker 1:

I mean, I want everybody to understand the dynamic. I interview you, you're the interviewee.

Speaker 1:

Sometimes, Anyway, I do 100% believe in reincarnation and I feel the same way you do. Like, damn, it would be nice if I could remember, but sometimes I am quadruple, able to remember parts of my past. So that's kind of cool and also not kind of cool. So, but what I also think is that I guess that it could help to not remember, because you know that I would think that you could remember how you died and I think that that could potentially be traumatic, depending on how you go. The other thing about it is, yeah, I would want to remember, so in the hopes that I wouldn't make the same mistakes, but a hope of mine would be that just, there's this thing and I'm gonna go off the tangent, but I'm not gonna go too far with it but there's this thing called Akashic Records Hopefully I'm pronouncing it correctly when it's like this huge database.

Speaker 1:

I almost feel like you and I saw that when we looked at what was that? It was the show that we looked at where they had the robots Dang it, the first show that we started to look at. Come on with the robots and the oh, do, do, do, oh wait, who are you not even letting me finish? Okay, it was the robots and they were Westerns, and then they would do Our Westworld oh shit, Westworld yeah, and so like I Good job, teamwork yeah.

Speaker 1:

Okay. So like when they uploaded oh, spoiler, blah, blah, blah, when they uploaded that stuff like the database kind of reminded me of the Akashic Records. So anyway, long story, less long cause I'm not very versed in Akashic Records and I hope I'm pronouncing it correctly. It's like the records of everything that has happened on the earth, from moment of worth, the world beginning to, you know, I guess, to the end.

Speaker 1:

And some people have the ability, through meditation and calling on the spirit of Akashic to help them reveal the records and stuff like that. And so like, before I got my reading from my mentor, pamela, some of these thoughts of my past, kind of like I had an inkling of it or whatever, and sometimes she was able to reveal them to me. So I think I say all they say that I think I see both sides of it and it sucks, cause you know what if you didn't get to do everything? Or what if you're repeating life again, like I would like to go to Japan or something like that? And it's like what if in a previous world I already went to Japan?

Speaker 2:

Well, I'm like I would want to do the recarnation, but I would want to be like, kind of like what on Black Panther? Where, when you died and you went to that ancestral realm, yeah. So I would like, I would prefer, when I pass and you go there and you see your mother, your grandmother, your uncle and you can kind of connect.

Speaker 2:

I mean, you see, five generations in the past you're like, oh, you're my uncle, yeah, I'm your uncle. Well, when I was alive I did I built a building. Yeah, oh, that's. I mean it wouldn't have you dead, damn, you were still. You know, the family would be slowly, as I say, getting back together.

Speaker 1:

Oh, I like that one. Okay, you kind of answered this one, so if you don't want to answer it again, you don't have to. But the question I wrote is are you religious or spiritual person? Now, I know that you just said that you are a Christian, but not an Uber Christian. So like, where is your? What is the word I'm looking for, I guess what is your relationship with Christianity? Yeah, there we go.

Speaker 2:

I believe again. I believe that in Jesus Christ do I go to church? No, I mean, I've been to churches More than I've been to church. Okay yeah.

Speaker 1:

Church is the chief. Yeah, I'm so tired of you, yes.

Speaker 2:

So I mean I mean growing up at my cousin you say we went to church more than God. Yeah, Because we used to at Bible study church, Sunday schools, um, Deakin, uh, Usher boy, you quiet Saturday church. So we went to church a lot. So maybe they burned me out. But man, like I still believe Jesus is the savior, that they came to save me and can now let but I'm not a oh me quote the Bible At all. You gonna go to hell because I don't believe in all that. But I'm hoping that it's more like a free wheel type thing, because what I read it in those Bible it seemed like Somebody who I would think like like marlith king could end up going to here because something to be he, because he told a lie back in the day.

Speaker 2:

Oh yeah and that'd be kind of crazy. I'm, I'm watching that gang. Marlith king, you're gonna. Yeah, yeah, I lied when I was 30, so, so, there was a gun, there's something someone else. Yeah, that'd be kind of crazy. Watch them go to here because he was in the christians whole.

Speaker 1:

Oh yeah.

Speaker 2:

Like, but he was. He was a really good person on earth.

Speaker 1:

So you know, thinking black people's, aren't you this and stuff like that.

Speaker 2:

Hey, well, you know anybody good.

Speaker 1:

And so, like I said, I'm not, they're a Christian, but I do believe okay, and so how does that, how, um, how does that work within our relationship, and do you think that there, there, there is a moment where too much of my hoodu could be too much for you, because You've been a Christian and me being a hoodu practitioner even though, as I've always said, you can do both, but I don't. I'm just. I have denounced Christianity and Some people that could mess up people's relationships, because usually people want to get together and it's sure, to the person that they're with, have the same religious and spiritual. However, we're doing well with our relationship, so it it doesn't seem to be a hindrance, but for you, um, yeah, how does that work? And Can you think over time, if, who do my hoodu would be just too much?

Speaker 2:

well, again I'm gonna. I'm a more of a logical thinker. So at the end of the day, let's be honest, does Christianity or not christian religion really matter? No Reason why I say that? Because nobody knows who's right.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, I think we're all. To be honest, I've said this with my sister, ash, where I think we're all right. I think no matter if we're calling God, buddha, jesus, I don't know, whatever, whatever, I think that we are all calling the same person. Well, yeah, I hear what you're saying.

Speaker 2:

I think I'm working, since nobody really knows. I think everybody has their base. Yeah, like you said, whether you call it God or whatever, he may be that or she or they.

Speaker 2:

Yes, uh, we had a supreme being, but the underneath, like I would say Jesus and and all the other, buddha would, it would be those secondary things. So, but nobody knows who's right and like I could Say, oh no, I don't want to be with you because, uh, uh, uh, the hoodu thing, and it turns out that your hoodu thing was the actually the right one and I was wrong as a fool. I was wrong as a fool, so I don't really judge it. It's not my place to judge.

Speaker 1:

Good answer.

Speaker 2:

And so I don't, I don't even think about what you. That's just what you believe is what you believe. Uh, is it time where it'd be too much? Oh?

Speaker 1:

I don't think that I'm about to answer you. I don't think it will be because, um, when we got together, I told you about pissing in jars, you still decided to consent to being with me, so I don't think I'll ever be.

Speaker 2:

Well, I ain't seen you piss. Well, you did you pick it. You were there one time. I think you pissed in the jar.

Speaker 1:

No, I don't think you've heard me talk about it, but you've never seen me do the piss in the jar. I ain't having physically.

Speaker 2:

But I thought you uh, it was instant where you was finna, do it to somebody.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, finna but dinner.

Speaker 2:

Okay, well, finna don't make dinner, I guess. So, uh, no, I don't, I don't think it'd be. Uh, oh, that's too much. I'd be like, hmm, that's wild, crazy. But I don't think till I be uh, turned off by no okay, cool.

Speaker 1:

Now we're getting on to relationship questions. All right, do you think people fall in love because the right person shows up or because the time in their life is right?

Speaker 2:

Uh, for me the timing of the life is right. Uh, if you would have met me when I was 18, then I we probably want to be together because one I wasn't looking for Again and I was already taken. Yeah, uh, but also I wasn't trying to have a relationship when I was 18. I only was attracted to women who were here, somebody else, oh.

Speaker 1:

So I wouldn't have been looking for a relationship with wait, I did have somebody when I was 18, so you would have been attracted to me. What Got your ass?

Speaker 2:

Yeah. So yeah, I wasn't looking for nothing serious.

Speaker 2:

Yeah so it was, it would, it would have been no option for a relationship to blossom. All right, and I think maturity level, a younger me doesn't have the same knowledge and acceptance as a, uh, the older man. All right, because you know, I ain't nothing but no 40. Whoa, whoa, oh, what you get, what would you get? Uh? So yeah, I was an incidence when it was a carcassian woman, she, she tried to holler at me back when I was I think I was 17 at the time, but because my mother and my sisters, uh, these early 90s, y'all early 90s, so uh, that thing was like bringing home a white woman, I would kill you, boy, he bring her white woman. So I gave her Opportunity to even go down that road, because I'm not gonna bring a white woman home to my mama, because I'm gonna ask a fool.

Speaker 2:

Yeah but if you were when, now and when you weren't together. And I don't care if she's white, you know black age, you know whatever me Uh, if I think she's attractive and she has a good head on the shoulders, I'm willing to give it an opportunity. So yeah, time changes.

Speaker 1:

Yeah. What did your past relationships teach you?

Speaker 2:

patience, understand, uh, it was. Uh, people change. I think people do change, but it takes a long time. Nobody's gonna change overnight, definitely. So patience and, like I said, understanding his voice blend in two lives together. Oh yeah, so you have to kind of I don't know, I don't want to say give up a piece of you, because you shouldn't kind of lose nothing. But you got to, I guess, compromise.

Speaker 1:

I consider it a Venn diagram where you know what a Venn diagram means. Sure, don't, don't worry, it's going to make sense in a minute. So, venn diagram, you. This is how I think our relationship, all relationships, are romantic, non-reminiscent, whatever, whatever. So you have Venn diagram where you have a circle of you.

Speaker 1:

So right here, even though y'all can't see it, I'm literally making my hands into circles so he can get the visual. But anyway, you have Venn diagram. So circle is boutang, everything that makes boutang tick. Then you have me, sugar mama, everything that makes sugar mama tick. Well, actually, mama can don't matter whatever. And then you Sugar mama, it was, it is. And then you, there's the circles, they interlock, and then in the middle is where they overlap, right, and I think that that, and I think that that's where the relationship is, because, just like you said, you're taking everybody's, taking, their trauma, their baggage, their relationship beliefs, their religious. They're taking everything with them and they're trying to blend it together. And that part where it overlaps into Venn diagram is where you get the sweet spot.

Speaker 2:

So, yeah, yeah, now I don't want, I don't want to take too much of my past relationship into my new relationship.

Speaker 2:

Oh, yeah Well, I'm not saying, I'm just saying, like you know, for example oh, this is one of your courtiest habits, I will Well the reason why I say that is because I think if you take too much of your past relationship into your new relationship, then one you're not being yourself. Then you're going to overcompensate, like, okay, my last relationship ended because I didn't cook, yeah, so now in my new relationship I'm going to try to do all the cooking. All the cooking, oh, okay. And then that person will be like, well, you never let me cook. Then it's on that, instead of the problem being you broke up because you never wanted to cook. Yeah, that's because you never let that person help or do anything. So I think you just overconcerned.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, okay, I feel you now. I guess what I was thinking that you were talking about was like for example, you're all about house robes and slippers and throwing away stuff on time or before the best date date and making sure.

Speaker 2:

As you should.

Speaker 1:

And making sure that everything in the fridge or the pantry, the labels are facing, and stuff into me. That's a, that's a part and that's what makes you you. But but it's just like quote, unquote, weird to me because I don't, I have never done it, but it's like, uh, that's what makes you you. So I'm not going to be like me and fuck this shit. You know, because, like you said earlier, I think it's a compromise as far as me taking, and I mean, yeah, it's a compromise that doesn't take or add away anything with the relationship. It makes you who you are. So I don't mind doing those things, even if I Well, wait a minute, listen.

Speaker 2:

Uh. Email her With the response. It is. But don't you think it makes sense to make sure the labels is facing so you can see what you got? A juice, get a juice in the refrigerator. They either they either they're different flavors with the look of the juices are the same on them. Maybe it's cherry and strawberry. I know that although cherry, sometimes it's red, but let's go with me. The cherry juice in the strawberry juice, same kind of flavor. Of course, all you can tell is by the label. So wouldn't it be good to be able to reach in there and grab the flavor that you wanted without grabbing the wrong flavor, so that it just makes sense to have the labels facing so you can see them?

Speaker 1:

Do you believe in soulmates? Why, why not?

Speaker 2:

Do I believe in soulmates? No, okay, there is no such thing as soulmates. I think there are points in your life where this person fits the who you are Now. Yes, as I was a chance that you guys will eventually grow apart, but I think that it just okay. This is, this is the person I am right now. This is the person that you use right now, and it blends together and it makes a beautiful symphony.

Speaker 1:

Huh, you know what? You are just dropping these nuggies. Oh my gosh, we need to go to McDonald's with it. What is the sweetest thing anyone has ever done for you? And it's just not me. Don't, don't mention it. I'm joking. I'm joking. No, for real, for real, because, yeah, what's the sweetest thing anyone has done for you?

Speaker 2:

Oh, the sweetest thing ever. Growing up, I was always a person who kept to their self. Let me keep to their self. I mean, I had cousins and friends and all that when I was kept to myself. If I had a problem, I tried to solve it myself. I never asked for help, never wanted help. When I was in kindergarten, I can go back to the teacher who would get mad at me Because if I didn't know the answer to something, I just either. I'm not going to get the answer.

Speaker 2:

I figured out myself. Teacher, I don't need you telling me nothing. So growing up, that's how I was. So the nicest thing I've ever done for me that I could say helped change me was, I would say, my friend. I went through a depression mode a couple of years ago and, of course, me being in me, I kept to myself, didn't want nobody to help me with it. But depression is a book of birth Once it get old it's hard to get out.

Speaker 2:

So she slowly helped me. She forced because I didn't want to go out the house and she like, hey, come on, we got to go here, Come on. So he helped me get out of the depression mode. So I would say that's probably the nice thing anybody done for me. Even though I didn't want to help, she helped me anyway.

Speaker 1:

Shout out to your mini you, because that's who it was. Yes, I figured that, all right. Oh, I'm in some stuff about me and this relationship. When you first saw me, what were your initial thoughts?

Speaker 2:

Damn. Look at that, oh no. I know it, I know it. But after that, after that, I was like man, this lady, no, she can talk, because I don't know if y'all know, but if y'all are listeners, like I am, Mama Q will go on and on and on and on.

Speaker 1:

Not for Erica, but I do.

Speaker 2:

I like to give you details. You're going to give all the details. You're going to get it just step by step. So then, but then after that, and when we was together for the extended period of time about what? The month or so yeah, I noticed that I liked your personality. Yeah, you have a very fixed personality. You're easy to talk to.

Speaker 1:

Yeah. Sometimes, All the time. Okay, good, good, good. All right, you are monogamous and I'm polyamory. How do you handle?

Speaker 2:

that, oh, you haven't really been poly. I mean, think about it. So I can't say how I can have a handle something that you haven't done. You now, yes, you still believe in that and you accurate that. But you, for the past year and four months, you have been monogamous. And even your, I guess, with the serve yeah Partner, he realized that you are really monogamous. That's why he doesn't want to. I mean, I don't know if you know that. I noticed it. That why he? He like, no, I'm an open, open, open, a full bed.

Speaker 1:

Life's been busy for him.

Speaker 2:

No, this night. It may be that part of what you think it is, but I know and I don't know him like that audience, I just know of him. But I know a good person is and so a good man. Even if he's missing or he has a thing with you on side, he's a good person. He see that you have a happy hip, the relationship. He's not going to want to do anything to disturb it.

Speaker 1:

So again, you've been monogamous for the last year and four months, so I don't that's you counting, but okay, so, okay, okay, but when we got together you knew that about me, but I guess the answer to that is you've already answered that where you're not a judgmental person. So yeah, yeah.

Speaker 2:

I'm not. I'm not just. No, I don't want to know about it. I guess I don't want to come home.

Speaker 1:

I don't want to know.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, I want to come home and some dude, when you were on the couch there, I'm going to do that. That wouldn't be what you want to see. You know that's so. I don't know. I guess there's something.

Speaker 1:

Time will tell.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, time will have to tell yeah.

Speaker 1:

Because, um, yeah, because I mean I had an opportunity where you were going to to throw down my polyamorous card like the big joker.

Speaker 1:

But yeah, I didn't, I didn't want to. Yeah, no, yeah, not with the person who was offering. No, I didn't, I didn't want to. I just, I know, as I've told you before, is that you and my sir, y'all the only ones that I want, and I mean that. And if and when the time comes for him to fire me, um, 99%, sure, I'll be monogamous, but, yeah, but until then, yeah, I'm still poly. Yeah, all right. How would you define intimacy?

Speaker 2:

Straight fucking.

Speaker 1:

How would you define intimacy?

Speaker 2:

Oh, okay, oh the PTV and no. I mean I'm still going to keep it. Uh, so intimacy, really, I don't think like because we don't it ain't like, we just do it all day, every day. So it's really like those times when we just sitting on the couch and you uh laying on me, yeah, and we watching TV, laughing, and somebody passing gas. So those those times right there, you know this and your cold feet is in my cold feet.

Speaker 1:

Oh, I hate that, but anyway.

Speaker 2:

Hey, we like touching feet y'all. That's how, that's how I came to. So those times when you just you can do nothing, but it's still entertaining.

Speaker 1:

Yeah.

Speaker 2:

I think there's this intimacy there. I think that connects to hard more than just sex or giving gifts. It just like if you're able to bone with a person, you sometimes you even got to be just talking, you just laying next to each other. That's an intimacy.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, that's one of the things that um, because I know all relationships are different, but that's one of the things that I like about our relationship. Is that, like I can't speak for you but I am going to speak for me. Is that I don't have an issue if you are looking at TV or if you are on your phone playing the game. Like I don't feel like you have to always pay attention to me 24 seven for some people that's a big deal because I've seen on social media I know you ain't supposed to pay attention and give a fuck about social media, but I've seen on social media where all you know all my partner does is like play video games all day, and I've had past partners who that's all they've done, but we still never had a connection. Like I really enjoy being around you, whether it's you know me having to, um, get the spray every time you fart.

Speaker 2:

Whoa, whoa.

Speaker 1:

Wait, hold what you got. Let me finish. Or me just like we're just like looking at my when I'm like um, trying to look up on Wikipedia, what's happening next, like no matter what it is that we do, I enjoy your company, I enjoy being around you, whether we do something or nothing or anything in between.

Speaker 2:

Because I think those times were like, let's say, god, I feel higher spirit you can say God, uh, we, uh, we broke up and I was somebody else.

Speaker 2:

I think the way I would miss about you most would be like laying in the bed and I wake up and I'm on like one third of the bed and you on laying on my one third of the bed and then when you finally do roll over, you take one third of the cover with you. I think I think that would be because the I got with the next person. That person stayed on the side of the bed while I sleep and I was on my side of the bed. I'm like, oh, my boot, that would be laying all on the side of the bed right now. Yeah, and it'd be the old style that you miss, that you did. Another person can't just feel Because the next person come in and they can like they can give you six, yeah, but the next person can't come in and you laying on the couch and y'all just chilling and having a good vibe.

Speaker 1:

Okay, good one, all right, this is the last relationship question thoughts on gender roles within relationships. Notice I said Relationships and I did not say our relationship, cuz who wrote it? I do.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, so I don't think this me purse. I don't think there should be gender roles in relationship now, although there this should be Okay, like that thing. We ain't where, the people of us for dinner. Oh yeah and the man Didn't pay for the warmest meal. Even though I pay for yours, she pays my sometimes too. Yeah, so he maybe.

Speaker 1:

I make. He puts out for it, but anyway yeah, so I'm.

Speaker 2:

I think there should be some type of exception. Like you out Pay for the warmest meal, but I think for the most part inside the house, I don't think it should be okay. You have to clean and I'm gonna go make the money, because this ain't this ain't 1960 and what. It doesn't work that way. I agree, so I don't this everything roles Fit in I society anymore.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, I actually agree with you on that one, cuz I mean, obviously I'm not the type to want to Believe or have to deal with gender roles. Before I met you, when I had stayed in a different spot, I cut my own grass and I actually found Joy within doing that. So, like you know, if we have our wind, not if when we have our spot together I'm gonna have an issue with cutting the grass, because it's something that I enjoy doing. You know, and I know it could, I ain't cut no grass.

Speaker 2:

I like cutting grass. Let's try to cut that grass first, but carry on.

Speaker 1:

Anyway.

Speaker 1:

So it's like Something like that is not a big deal for me, because it's something that I actually enjoy doing, you know, um, and where I well, you know, I feel about Christianity and just religion overall, but I I like to subscribe to what you believe in, which is, like everybody, using their strengths and weaknesses.

Speaker 1:

So, you know, when it comes to, for example, I'm dealing with money, you show me what your worst of actions, that your good, is saving money and having thoughts of what to do with it. So, to me, if, if that's something that you're good at and I'm not, why not be behind you or something like that and stuff. And and for me, that's a problem with some relationships, when they have these gender roles and just think that the if they're in a heterosexual Relationship where the man is supposed to run everything is like you don't know everything, and so if you don't know everything and somebody else is better than you, it's something, or have a better idea. Let them do that instead of just being chest I am now. I'm just being chest, I am a man type shit.

Speaker 2:

So Probably agree with me on something.

Speaker 1:

anyway, our last section is all about you.

Speaker 2:

It is you to be.

Speaker 1:

Why are you so damn petty? And no one has fired on your ass? Like, like, don't interrupt me. Like, how do you balance that? Is there a button that says you are about to go too far? Because, oh my gosh, with your pedin is when I'm like in my mind like he got one more motherfucker and then for some reason you'll just stop, and I'm like, did he read my mind? And it's like each and every time, like you never go, like the there's a line. You never cross that line. You might be like one inch, but you never cross that line man, madness of it.

Speaker 2:

No, I think I'm just very good at reading people. Oh yes, I guess.

Speaker 1:

But it's a lot. I know what you're thinking. It's all right.

Speaker 2:

It's okay, yeah, but I'm good at reading people and what I don't really like to. I don't want to be a person with tear jokes to where is offend the other person, you know make you feel insecure, so I never try to go to that point. You can always joke with somebody until they get pissed off.

Speaker 2:

Yeah so I tried to. When I see your face, I like it's done, look like it's a change. Okay, well, I'm like let me go on fall back, cuz she's starting to get upset, or that person starting to get upset.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, okay, another thing about you you are an overprepared that I love to hate. How did that happen? Was it instilled in you or something with your past, like what?

Speaker 2:

Well, remember, like I said uh yeah the kid. I never wanted to ask for help. Oh, okay, so the correlation so I, in order to prevent myself having to act for him, always Tried to play in the head. So, even like I said in school, I didn't want to teach you help. Yeah so while she was teaching lesson one, I Was learning lesson one, but on in my spare time I was going to listen to. So when she got to listen to, yeah, I already knew yeah what listen to was about.

Speaker 2:

So I'm worried about this. And three, because I don't need you to help me. So I just this I just always thought the plan ahead. I'm a person where I don't care about the good stuff. I don't plan for anything good because I was here. People good, the good stuff never hurt you. I'm the bad stuff. So in my mind I always run a bunch of scenarios of what can go wrong. Uh-huh, it makes me paranoid sometimes and when, and it also makes me kind of anxious to go ahead of Get the plan rolling.

Speaker 2:

Yeah case in point, why I'm going back to work. So really, yeah, I get in my mind to where the negative things going to happen and Certain parts of my plan can't happen until the negative thing actually does happen.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, so I got the.

Speaker 2:

I got a rush in like okay, so I can get my plan and my dumb nose to start falling.

Speaker 1:

Okay, cool. Um, I'm gonna wrap up some of our, some of the questions that I had in mind. I'm gonna cut them out, so we have yeah, but so we're gonna have like Three more questions, um, and then, yeah, we'll be done. Um, I already answered this, but I want to hear your answer. What's your quirky is? Had it I.

Speaker 2:

Have none. I am perfect, perfect, yeah, nothing is quirky about me. Uh, I guess one said the label thing I know a lot of people I've been with and I into my relationship was yeah, period. They don't like the whole Expression, they throw in everything. Yeah, this there's to me that just makes the most sense. I have them. I'm not the one that put the best by sale by inspired by days on the day. Put it on there. Yeah then, and I kiss now. It all will say probably the looking for perfection.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, look at that, I'm a perfectionist too. Uh Uh. How was couples therapy when we went, and was that your first time in therapy?

Speaker 2:

Yes, that was my first time in therapy. Oh, I think that one was. One of the issues were because I don't really believe in therapies, so there might be one of time. I was in about overcompensating for a relationship because my previous ratio she wanted to go to couples therapy and I'm like ain't going to that she's. They just help accelerate things. Yeah, this time I like we did it the last time, let's try this time. Oh, but it's a try to be a Wasn't not what I had in mind. It was. It was pretty good. I Was able to open up and get a neutral party perspective on it and, from what I gathered from it, most of what I was saying was right. He was mostly wrong. So it was actually delicious to be on the winning team, because everybody's all about winning and losing. So, yeah, I feel like I won and it was pretty good.

Speaker 1:

That was great segue to the last questions. What, speaking of winning team, what made you a Cowboys fan?

Speaker 2:

Oh, you know the answer to this.

Speaker 1:

I know, but they don't, so oh.

Speaker 2:

I'm a Uber now. I am a Uber cowboy fan.

Speaker 1:

Oh yes.

Speaker 2:

I'm type of person where when they lose, I cry, if they win, I'm happy, I'm sad and they're nervous throughout the game. I definitely believe next year is gonna be our year. I even went as far as to. I've told you I think I told you the other day and I told my sister that when I, when I die, I want a cowboy casket. If I can get it, get the cowboy casket. I may want to be cremated and I want to be sprinkled on the Dallas cowboy at the devil cowboy stadium on the 50 yard line. That's what I want. Okay and uh. And to make sure that happens, I even.

Speaker 2:

There's another reason I have a lot of life insurance policies because Y'all would be millionaires and and with some of them being done, y'all will be able to buy tickets to get on the field. And when you get on the field, that way you can spray a cup rig my ass. You know you can't. I want her that old. The ticket $10,000. So. But how did I become a cowboy fan? Back in the 90s to the 49ers played the Cowboys in a regular season game and I Think I may have been about nine at the time and now, like, whoever wins this game is gonna be my team for life.

Speaker 1:

That's how much a plan around.

Speaker 2:

In this one instant I left up the chance and the Cowboys won a game. They actually end up winning the Super Bowl that year in.

Speaker 1:

Wait, was that the last time we won the Super Bowl?

Speaker 2:

No, that was the last time, one of like 96. This was like in 92.

Speaker 1:

Okay, cool, so that's all that I have. Are there any questions that you have for me or anything? Then you want to share that you think the listeners want to hear.

Speaker 2:

Anything that I have for you. I'm at, I'm with you, so I know Most of the stuff that I need to know.

Speaker 1:

I know that's this. Doing this was kind of difficult because it's like, like you just said, I know you. So, yeah, I had to get most of these answers from Google.

Speaker 2:

Well, I guess I. Why do you feel about? Or, if you could, would you try to switch your family over to believe in who do your, your mother side or your father side?

Speaker 1:

No, I don't want to switch in, nobody over to it at all. Um, I want people to question if they want to. I want people to not judge me and call it demonic, that's for sure. But I don't want to force anybody. You know I'm a consent oriented person and even though I think who do for Us black people is a great route to go on, I don't want to be like the people I don't like, which are some Christians. That, what is the word prophesies, or whatever prophesies. I know it starts with a people. Anyway, long story that's long. Yeah, I don't want to force nobody into it to do it. I want them to be curious about and come over willingly.

Speaker 2:

So Okay, well, this was a question I do have and I was wondering if this seems like a great time to ask you. So, technically speaking, technically speaking, you have a problem with both your mothers Actual mother, step mother. So is there anything that they could do? Well, that you will, that will make you forgive them. Damn.

Speaker 1:

That's the oh no, um, I Told this to my therapist and I don't ever want to say never, but I'm 99% certain that the woman that gave birth to me there is absolutely nothing that she could do to make me forgive her.

Speaker 1:

Now, the caveats of that is I Do want to be an honorable and in line ancestor, I want to be able to ascend and I don't want to not be able to be honorable. So, unfortunately, if I would have to forgive in order to be on there, then I would, but otherwise fuck her, and I mean that in the most disrespectful way for me. She has done too much stuff and the final thing that she did was just the last straw. For me and I Tell my therapist is and I think I tell you this too is that when people show you who you are, you supposed to believe them, and unfortunately, I give people so many chances to Show me who they are, chance after chance, and so therefore, I would be pissed off at myself if I forgive her and let things Be okay and she does something again, and it will be my fault, because I knew who the fuck she was.

Speaker 1:

Dear mother on dad's second wife. Fuck her as well. She needs therapy like a motherfucker. Yeah, she needs therapy. The only way that I think and again I'm trying not to say never, say never, but the only way that I think I could ever forgive her For her shit is if number one, she wholeheartedly Apologizes for everything, and type of person I am when it comes to apologizing is I want you to like Apologize and say the things that you did not know, like I'm sorry, I know. Like I'm sorry, no. Like, hey, you know, mama Q, I'm sorry for being a bitch a few days ago thinking that you didn't say hello to me, even though that hello was for everyone you know. And then take action with being better, because if you apologize to somebody and you are still doing the same behavior, it's no longer an apology, it's a pile of lies. Hi, hi, sorry, yeah, um. So, with that being said, fuck them both. Um, shout out to the ancestors, hope that they work on me and understand that maybe eventually, someday, hopefully, I'll forgive them, because I want to be an elevated ancestor, but 99% sure. Fuck them, kiss my ass and I may or may not have. Iterate them if they go before I do. That's all, I'm good, excellent, okay.

Speaker 1:

Well, I do appreciate you so much for being a loyal listener and being in love of my life and just haven't In just um, being upfront and willing to participate in this. Oh my gosh, she's making face facial expression, yeah. So anyway, thank you for that. So you can say bye to the people, so I can do my actual by from Daddy Q. Well, I've talked long enough. Q out.
