Speaker 1

It was actually three , and it was amazing that I met them right in the same amount of a span of about two weeks . There were three separate families from Canada that had been checking out the podcast . They were in town , vacationing in Orlando and came to hang out with me .

Speaker 2

So shout out to Canada we love you .

Speaker 1

Yeah , we love y'all people . Hey , make sure you send in the testimonies . We love to hear what God's doing in your life .

Speaker 1

But we want to talk about today recognizing and overcoming emotional hurt steps to healing and this is going to be a lifeline for somebody who's been carrying some bitterness and they've been hurt hurt in a marriage , hurt at a job , hurt in a relationship , hurt

The Hurt Epidemic

Speaker 1

in a church . There's going to be healing in the house from hurt . Today , the Lord showed me a hurt epidemic and the way that I saw it was very similar to the pandemic . In the pandemic , it was worldwide and it was massively spread and everybody was affected by it . And I see something very similar happening even in the body of Christ . There's a pandemic of hurt .

Speaker 1

Yeah , there are so many hurt people that are deconstructing their faith , walking away from the church , walking away from the things of God , sitting at home , and they're not fulfilled . They're not fulfilled because they're doing it their way instead of doing it God's way . I learned this years ago that hurt is an opportunity for me to grow in compassion , grow in the love of God and see another aspect of the grace of God . Many people use hurt for them now to back away , to fall away , to get bitter , to do all kinds of different things , and this is what I've learned as well is that hurt is a part of life If you're going to love people and you're going to serve people . You're a big target to be hurt and when hurt comes , you're either going to back up or you're going to move forward and you're going to grow in the power and in more anointing and be more like Jesus .

Speaker 1

Right , we need to normalize hurt , but we need to know what to do with it so we don't completely destroy our callings .

Speaker 2

Absolutely . I think you said it all there . That's so good it's . Sometimes I think we get surprised when we get hurt . Yeah , and I think hurt comes , we get surprised . I guess there are several reasons , but especially when you get hurt by someone . You're never expected to get hurt . You know like oh this is , this was my friend , or this is somebody that I admired , that I looked up to and they hurt me . You know like and you're surprised by it , but you probably don't get hurt . You know less . You're less susceptible to get hurt by someone that you don't care about at all .

Speaker 1

You know what I mean you probably won't get hurt by somebody that you expect to hurt you . You're already on guard . The reason that people are hurt is because I thought they had my back . I gave that person everything . I did all these things for that person . I did all these things for that church .

Speaker 1

I did all these things for that man , and then he did me like this and because you did all these things and you expected that person to protect you and they didn't do what you expected them to do . That's when hurt's there .

Speaker 2

Yeah , and you know hurt is it's like baggage . It's carrying around all of this baggage with you and if you don't know what to do with it , like you know you'll carry around . You got hurt when you were nine years old . Your teacher said this and then , when you were 12 years old , one of your friends did this and , like you , have all of this baggage .

Speaker 1

Piling up .

Speaker 2

So much junk in the trunk and it can be difficult , you know .

Speaker 1

Well , not just difficult , it blinds you to reality , meaning that your reality is not really real .

Speaker 2

Yeah .

Speaker 1

It's real to you that you really can't trust people . And I really can't get too involved and I don't know about marriage . I tried that before . It's real to you , but it's not the reality that God ever intended for you to live in , you will miss all of the blessings that God has in your life .

Speaker 2

You will overlook the people who are right there by your side

Understanding Emotional Hurt

Speaker 2

every day . You'll overlook even the people who they might not be your best friend , but they still have your back .

Speaker 1

Yeah , have you ever been hurt before ?

Speaker 2

Yes , yeah , can you just ?

Speaker 1

of course you have Give me a little bit about what has been the most hurtful things for you in your life .

Speaker 2

I mean , I've had traumatic hurt . I've had , you know , sexual abuse , physical abuse , verbal abuse . I lost my dad when I was six years old . I lost , had , you know , sexual abuse , physical abuse , verbal abuse . I lost my dad when I was six years old . I lost my grandmother , who raised me , you know , like her own . When I was 12 years old I was , you know , you know , had all kind of grew up in alcoholism , domestic violence , you know , projects , stealing , shooting , stabbing , fighting , I mean everything . So there were a lot of opportunities for me to get hurt .

Speaker 1

Okay , Can we ? I want to compartmentalize .

Speaker 2

Okay .

Speaker 1

So those are what we call hurts that are hurtful because there's perceived hurt . Yes , perceived hurt is more like hurt that well , they didn't appreciate me , they didn't notice me . They said this and I took it that way . They promoted somebody over me , right ? You know what I'm saying , yeah , but then there's real hurts , like somebody did something to you , but you know what you got to get healed from all of it . You do .

Speaker 2

What you cannot do is become the victim . Talk about that , okay , because there are so many people who they're 40 and 50 and 60 years old and they are still stuck in the hurt that happened to them . The hurt was legit , the hurt was real . It was life altering , life changing . But you cannot remain a victim . As long as you do , you will not overcome , you will not live the life that you should live , you won't be able to trust , you probably will be bogged down with emotional wounds , problems in your marriage , overprotective with your children , because you're afraid that something's going to happen to them like it happened to you . There's just so much that goes into it Sicknesses and diseases and autoimmune disorders and you're stressed out and you need a vacation you got migraines and ulcers and heart disease .

Speaker 2

There's so many things . I see something If you remain the victim , you have got to break out .

Speaker 1

Yeah , what I just saw were people carrying something that they should be casting . Yes , and the word of the Lord is cast , don't carry , cast , don't carry . The scripture teaches us to cast all of our cares to the .

Speaker 1

Lord , because he cares for us , and some people have been carrying something that they should be casting and you have to learn how to take the weight of what you've been going through and give it to the Lord and understand that he cares for you . He's the only one that can carry your cares . You can't carry your cares . It will kill you .

Speaker 2

Yes , I love what you say . Carry cast , don't carry .

Speaker 1

Yeah .

Speaker 2

Cast it to Jesus . Give it to Jesus and something that I've done , because I've had therapy , a lot of therapy in life , and something that you need to forgive , or just things that you've done . What I tell them to do is close your eyes , go back to that moment of trauma in the midst of it , feel it , imagine it , hold it in your hands . If it's a person that has hurt , you hold them in your hands . If it's a situation , a place , just hold it in your hands and imagine yourself before Jesus and just imagine yourself giving it to Jesus , literally giving it over to Jesus , and sit in that and do it over and over and over again until your healing comes . It is such a powerful tool because we do everything by faith , but you're literally casting your cares to Jesus . That's what the Bible says . He cares for us , so we can cast our cares to him , and there's so much healing that has taken place in my life personally because of that , but then other people as well .

Speaker 1

I want to know how have you done it , to be honest , the sexual abuse , the physical abuse , the rejection of family members , the abandonment of people , the betrayal . I've seen you walk through a lot . I've walked through a share of things , but I feel like even you , more than me , how have you still remained sweet , tenderhearted , pliable , pure , filled of faith ? Because another person can go through what you went through and they're addicted , looking for love in the wrong places , bitter at God , angry at God . But I've seen you use some of those things to actually draw closer to God . So can you just give us practical tools ? Because if I was to really analyze you , I would say you do not carry hurt , you're not a hurt person . Yeah , you've went through a lot of hurtful things . How ?

Speaker 2

I think I've always been able to see that hurt people hurt people , and I've even seen my greatest enemies in my life and the people who have hurt me the most . I was able to look at them and see their humanity . I saw that they were monstrous towards me and horrible toward me . But I was also able to see , wow , you're a person . You have been hurt . I see you cry , I see where you've experienced pain and even though it's not right what you're doing to me , I understand

Cast Don't Carry Your Cares

Speaker 2

that you're a person too . Even though it's not right what you're doing to me , I understand that you're a person too . So , number one , I'm able to see like , wow , these people are just people , just like I am . And I think number two , honestly , is when I look at my life and who I was being a victim of abuse , sexual , physical , all of those things being born and raised in the projects .

Speaker 2

Being half black , half white , I experienced a lot of racism growing up and classism because of where I was from and who I was . I was taught that I was less than so . I grew up with this mentality that it didn't matter who I was in the room with . I was always the least of those . But when I met Jesus , he kind of and learned who I was in Jesus . The fact that he took this person , who was the least of all of those with my background , who had been used and abused literally my spit in my face , literally beaten that he loved me that much and made me someone greater , it just I drop all of my rocks , you know it's just like those living in glass houses shouldn't throw rocks Like I live in a glass house . You know what I mean . Who am I to condemn anyone or to judge anyone or hold anything against anyone , when Jesus has done so much for me ?

Speaker 1

Well , that's a very forgiving perspective . Let me give context to the revelation . The scripture says that we don't wrestle against flesh and blood . So many times people would say , well , my battle is with my abuser , my battle is with my boss , my battle is with that leader , but really your battle is not my abuser . My battle is with my boss , my battle is with that leader , but really your battle is not with a person , because the person is probably just influenced by the demonic . So we don't wrestle against flesh and blood .

Speaker 1

The opposite of it was we wrestle against powers and principalities rules of darkness in this world , host of spiritual wickedness in heavenly places , of darkness in this world , a host of spiritual wickedness in heavenly places . What that means is that we are in a battle or a spiritual war against unseen , ungodly spirits and influences , and they do influence culture and they do influence people . And the revelation is that hurt people hurt people . And when you understand that you have probably hurt people before yourself and you're in need of forgiveness as well , then , even though it wasn't right what they did to you , it just gives you a perspective that maybe I can forgive them , because I've been forgiven of much and really the problem is not just them . This problem goes all the way back to a sin problem and a demonic problem .

Speaker 1

So let me not just take it out on people , let me take it out on the author of all the confusion , which is Satan himself . And it doesn't necessarily make it all go away . It just puts it in perspective so that you can get healed .

Speaker 2

It does .

Speaker 1

It does .

Speaker 2

And and and that , like there's , you're going to get hurt , you know . I think that's why Jesus said you know , um , the , the , the um disciples asked Jesus well , how many times should I forgive ? And he said 70 times , 70 , like all day , every day , because there's always opportunity to be hurt . Everywhere you turn , there's opportunities to be hurt , but you have to keep on forgiving and releasing that .

Speaker 1

So let's define this hurt piece of just a little bit , just to give context . So for me , hurt is like emotional pain caused by somebody else . Yeah , would you add anything to that ?

Speaker 2

Yeah , I , I would call like hurt is yeah , it's , it's an emotional injury .

Speaker 1

It's an emotional injury . Why would you call it an ?

Speaker 2

injury . An injury , it's just like . Well , you get injury , you get injured when you're outside playing basketball and you think you're on top of the world and all of a sudden , boom , the injury comes . It's out of nowhere , you don't expect it .

Speaker 1

There is a pandemic of injured believers and they are sitting on their gifts when they should be using them because they don't know how to process hurt Exactly .

Speaker 2

What I was saying . You said you don't know how to process hurt Exactly what I was saying . You said you don't know how to process it . If you get an injury and you don't treat it right , you'll stay injured for the rest of your life and it'll grow worse .

Speaker 1

There are people who have been spiritually injured and it has lingered for 10 years , 20 years , 30 years , and God wants them to get healed so that they can get back in the game and be stronger than ever . So we kind of talked about these big hurts , but then I don't want to call them little hurts , because hurt is hurt . But I think there's a difference between abuse , neglect , you know , coming at you , versus somebody that was a misunderstanding in a relationship . You was a good friend with somebody . Now they won't call you back and meet with you as much as they used to . Or you was a part of a group of people and they didn't appreciate you , or somebody was preferred more than you , or something like that . Your friends went to the movies . They didn't invite you . There's all these little hurts , especially in the church world .

Speaker 1

It's like people wear . What is that when they say you wear your fillings on your sleeve ? Yeah , Years ago my pastor taught me a principle especially in ministry you have to be tender and tough at the same time .

Speaker 2

Yeah .

Speaker 1

There was a time when David was about to pass and give the kingdom to Solomon and he says my son , solomon , is tender and inexperienced . And when I first started in the ministry my pastor would say you are tender . And what he was saying is that you're young , just like Solomon , inexperienced , and you're going to have to be tender and tough .

Speaker 1

And I just feel like sometimes and I think the reason is especially in the church world is because of the first thing we said that the church world is the world , the place where you think everybody's gonna be for you , everybody's loving and everybody's kind and nothing wrong is . So your defense is way down , but you don't realize that people are people in the church and out of the church , and not only that . But the devil is busy and so he will take something that meant like this , like I've been in situations where there's a person that is in a trusted leadership position and they're lying To people all around them . Can you imagine being in a situation where there is a leader that you trust and they are lying to you about somebody else ?

Speaker 1

and they're painting a world that's not even . That's a hurtful situation , because then you feel like , okay , I can't trust this person , I can't trust that person , and it's not that that situation even real is , that this person has a Judah spirit and they're lying , and so that's a very hurtful thing . But what do you do when that happens ? You still got to bounce back and serve God and still

Joseph's Story of Healing

Speaker 1

got to live your life based upon principle , and you still have to allow that to get healed to move into greater depths with , wouldn't you agree ?

Speaker 2

yeah , what do you do when you go to a restaurant ? They serve you a bad meal . You don't never eat again you know where he was going , I got literal . I was like go to another restaurant you know you , you might , I mean you might go to another restaurant but my point was you know you , just , you're not going to stop eating again .

Speaker 2

Right , you know you order another dish , find another meal , you know like if you go to the doctor and you know , if you go to a doctor and they give you a bad opinion , you go to another doctor . You know , like you're not going to stop . You know going to the doctor , you're not going to stop . You know your search , you know for whatever , and so I don't know , when you get hurt by someone , it's just like you keep on going , you , you don't stop , like um your trust in people .

Speaker 1

Well , we've got a great example in the Bible . In Genesis there's a guy named Joseph , and the Bible says that God gave Joseph a dream and he mistakenly told his dream to his family members . So the bible talks about how his own brothers hated him .

Speaker 1

Yeah and so , if you put this into context , what it means is that the people that should have cared for him his older brothers Think , if you have older siblings , yeah , you look up to them , you kind of want to be like them . There was a time where he was coming to his older brothers and they saw him coming and they said here comes that dreamer we're gonna , we're gonna kill him talk about dysfunction in the family dysfunction oh my goodness .

Speaker 1

So here it is . The people that should love you and care for you want to kill you . You ain't done nothing to him . All you did was have a dream from god , and you told it to them , and you were favored by your father , who made him a coat of many colors .

Speaker 1

Joseph did nothing , and so they decided you know we ain't going to kill him , but we're going to sell him into slavery and we left him in a pit for dead and then he sold into Egyptian slavery . Okay , and and because God was with Joseph , the Bible says that even in Potiphar's house , um , in Potiphar bought him out of Egyptian slavery . He was preferred in Potiphar's house and he was given second control in Potiphar's house . Then here's this injustice that happens . Potiphar's wife sees that Joseph is handsome , she likes him and she's like lie with me , joseph . And Joseph runs out because of his integrity . He says I'm not going to sin against God . He leaves his garment there . She makes up a false case against him , says he comes in trying to take advantage of me .

Speaker 1

Now , this man who had a dream from God watch how hurtful this is . He was sold into slavery , he was bought , he was promoted . Now he's put into prison , not only for a month or two , but for years . This man of God this is a hurtful situation is left in prison . What happens in prison ? God's with him . He's promoted in prison to second behind the warden , all right . And then all of a sudden , this baker and this butler comes into prison .

Speaker 1

He interprets these dreams . He says don't forget about me . What happens ? They forget all about him .

Speaker 1

Years go by . Joseph is left . You could be angry at God , you could be hurt . Like God . You gave me a dream , but I ain't seen none of it yet . I'm in prison . People don't like me . My family thinks I'm dead .

Speaker 1

Pharaoh has a dream . Only Joseph can interpret the dream . He goes from the pit , he goes from the prison to the palace . He interprets the dream and then he's second in control of all of Pharaoh . Years later this is 20-some years later there's a famine in the land . His brothers that sold him into slavery show up because they're in need of food . Joseph is in control . They don't even know that it's Joseph . They bow down to him , just like the dream said , and Joseph okay . After this they revealed themselves to him . He embraces them , he takes care of the people that hurt him , meaning that he was not living with hurt . He somehow had enough God in him that he got over the abandonment , over the rejection , over the pain of his life . He embraced his family , took care of them , brought them all to Egypt . Then his father died and after his father died his brother said maybe he's going to pay us back now for all the stuff that he did to us .

Speaker 1

And one of the most remarkable passages in the Bible is Genesis 50 , 20 . And this is what it says you intended to harm me , but God intended it for my good to do what is being done now the saving of many lives . Now , the reason I say it's one of the most remarkable scriptures is because you got to be a man that's healed from hurt , to say that , after you've been abandoned , rejected , left for dead , sold into slavery , lost everything , gained everything , and ain't nobody helped you to be able to look at the people that hurt you and say what you intended to harm me , it ain't got nothing to do about you . God intended it for my good to do what is being done now the saving of many lives . So it wasn't that personal and I think we take stuff too personal . Talk about that a little bit .

Speaker 2

Ooh , I mean , yeah , we take things personal because , in my opinion , we think that , as if another human being can thwart , as if another human being can stop or delay the plan of God on your life , you know . So what Joseph did was like his , you know . Oh , you know , brothers , I forgive you and you did all this crazy stuff , but there ain't nothing that you could do anyway . To stop what God was doing In my life , you know . So I overcame all of that .

Speaker 1

But if he got hurt , he wouldn't have .

Speaker 2

Right .

Speaker 1

If he would have got mad and angry and bitter , remained a victim , he would have died in prison .

Speaker 2

Yes , but you don't know what they did to me . They threw me in the pit . I was my dad's favorite nobody liked me .

Speaker 1

Nobody talked .

Speaker 2

I had a dream , I had a call of god on my life god said , I was supposed to do this .

Speaker 1

They didn't see me . They said this , but they didn't do this .

Speaker 2

And lord and you just stayed and you you just lord . Terrible . So , um , I think I love that part , is that ? Nothing if god before you , no one can be against you . That sums , sums it all up .

Speaker 1

Say that again .

Speaker 2

If God be for you , no one can be against you , no matter your background , no matter what people have done to you in your childhood , who betrayed you , whatever . If God be for you , no one can be against you .

Speaker 1

I believe that with all my heart , babe . I believe that thing Like honestly . We've been through a lot , especially in ministry the betrayal , the people who will say something in your face and then do something else behind your back . You bless them , you help them . You do all of these things and sometimes the people that you do the most for are the people who will dog you out the most or underappreciate you the most . And you do it as unto the Lord , and then , when people do things , you get back up on the saddle .

Speaker 2

That's right .

Speaker 1

And then when people do things , you get back up on the saddle and you can't be hurt and stop trusting people . I ain't going to let people that close to me I've seen pastors do that because they get hurt and then they begin to live in this bubble so nobody else can get in . But they've actually imprisoned themselves , and so I am happy to say that I hold no hurt in my heart towards anyone Like . I hold no resentment , no bitterness . There's been some things that I don't like and there are some people that I don't like their actions , but , man , I forgive them and I love them , yeah , and I hope the best for them . But I'm so happy to say , out of 25 years of marriage , 46 years of living and 18 years of ministry , that I have a heart .

Speaker 2

That's healed of hurt . Yeah .

Speaker 1

And you do too , and it's available for anybody . You just can't play the victim . You can't say , well , I've been through so much . No , there's people who's been through more .

Speaker 2

Right . Like Tabitha , like Joseph you know , and it's not to compare your hurt is bigger than my hurt .

Speaker 2

It's just to say I'm not goes both ways honestly , but you know it's not to say oh , to ignore your emotions and ignore how you feel . It's not to say that , but it is to be careful , to be balanced , to not let every little thing you know bother you . Like I teach our kids and you know we have . It's a joke , but it's a real principle . Like ain't nobody got time for that , we always play . Ain't nobody got time for that ? Please Like , okay . So I don't have time to be concerned about what people think about me , other people's opinions of me , how they looked at me , how they said it , the tone of voice that they said it . I might notice it and they could very well be wrong , but I ain't got time to be sitting up in here worried about there are too many other things that I could be doing right now .

Speaker 2

Putting my

Breaking Free from Victimhood

Speaker 2

time and energy toward right now Right , it's like no . And then , especially , some stuff is funny . Most things are funny to me . The things that other people get upset about , I don't care at all , given my background and what I've been through care at all , given my background and what I've been through .

Speaker 2

Listen , you could cuss me out , you know , throw the finger up at me in traffic , all you know . Like whatever , and it's just like that's funny . I am not threatened at all . Like that is funny . You are all in an emotion , you know , showing out , saying things , lying , doing all of this stuff , like I ain't got time for that . If you want to do that , fine , Sit over there and be mad . I'll be here to talk to you whenever you know , whenever you want to have a decent conversation , but no , we don't have time for that , sorry , Wow .

Speaker 1

Wow . So there's all kinds of hurts hurts of abandonment , hurts of rejection , hurts of a father wound , hurts of a loss , hurts of miss , failed expectation . You got let go of a job . This is my perspective . Well then there's a better job for you . Okay , well , my husband , he left me . Well , god got somebody better for you . Well , you know , you know what I'm saying . Like my , our perspective is that of a victor , not a victim . I'm talking about okay , you got cancer . Okay , Well , God's going to heal you and give you a healing ministry .

Speaker 1

You know what I'm saying . Like I'm not going to wallow in pain . I'm going to use that . I'm going to grow through what I go through . I don't know what else would you say to someone who's just they've experienced some kind of hurt church hurt , relational hurt . What else would you say ? How do you get over ?

Speaker 2

it , you just do it .

Speaker 1

You just do it . It's now or never .

Speaker 2

Do or die . We're just going to do it . You're going to stay there or you're just going to get out .

Speaker 1

There's no good time . You got to trust God too .

Speaker 2

Yeah , you got to trust God .

Speaker 1

You got to be willing . It's not going to feel good , it doesn't . You know , like all of that stuff , you just have to do it right . The lord showed me with this um epidemic of faith . I'm an epidemic of hurt , pandemic of hurt . There are people , they have church hurt , which is basically it's it's a crazy term , it really is . It just means that you got hurt in the church context , um , and there's people . It would be like if you go to Walmart and you get hurt , you wouldn't call it Walmart hurt , you just got hurt . People hurt you , but in the church context now it's church hurt .

Speaker 1

The biggest problem with church hurt is then you stop coming to church , or you come to church but you sit on your gifts , or you come to church but now you have , you're not walking by faith and that hurt only hurts you . And my encouragement for somebody who's been dealing with church hurt is don't let church hurt hurt . You hurt your purpose , hurt your calling , hurt your relationship with God because Satan okay , there is an enemy , there's a thief and he's outside the church and he's really inside the church to cause division , misunderstanding , dissension , seed of discord , to nullify your faith and hinder the kingdom of God to populate hell . And we don't want to populate hell . We want to depopulate hell and populate heaven . So we need you to get healed from your hurts so that you can stop sitting on your gifts .

Speaker 1

So if you're that person that I used to give , I used to serve , I used to go to church , I used to read my Bible , something happened . What happened ? Could it be that Satan has used the tool of hurt and you fell for it ? Hook , line and sinker ? We are all going to experience hurt . It is a part of your maturation process . It is a part of the process of being a human being maturation process . It is a part of the process of being a human being . When you get hurt , you can pull back , take matters into your own hands , or you can step forward and say God , I trust you with my hurt , heal my heart . But I'm not going to allow it to define my character in the way that I live my life .

Speaker 2

That's good , can you just ?

Speaker 1

pray for somebody who's been dealing with hurt .

Speaker 2

Absolutely , lord . I bless the person who's listening right now and their heart is just heavy with hurt . In fact , even in their imagination right now , they are replaying in their mind that incident where the hurt happened . Right now , in the name of Jesus , lord , I just ask that you would begin to just let them feel your presence where they are , if they're driving in the car , that they feel your presence If they're watching in their living room or while they're doing their hair . That they feel your presence , holy Spirit , and let that be proof to them that you are able to heal hurts .

Prayer for Healing from Hurt

Speaker 2

You are able to heal emotional wounds .

Speaker 2

And so I just declare liberty and freedom from the trauma of their past , the root of the hurt and whatever is causing it . I declare freedom and liberty over them right now . And if you could , right now , just release forgiveness , release forgiveness upon whoever hurt you , that situation , just say I forgive right now , out of your mouth , just say I forgive in Jesus name , and God will honor that . And when you forgive , god forgives you and you release that hurt , you break the bonds of hurt .

Speaker 1

So , in Jesus name , I declare liberty and freedom and he who the sun sets free is free indeed that this is going to be a season of new beginnings , a season of fresh starts , and I also hear the word breakthrough for you as you're releasing those hurts . There's a man named Rick who's just been stuck and , rick , you've been kind of just something happened and you've kind of just been not fervent about the things of God . God wants to light a fire again in you , rick , but you got to choose to do it God's way , not your way , and I just believe right now that all over the world , god is beginning to heal hurts . And so I want you to do this Say I renounce , I renounce the spirit of hurt , the attitude of hurt , and I command hurt to leave me now and say , holy Spirit , heal my heart . Heal my heart so that I can trust you again , so that I can do things your way again . In Jesus name , amen .

Speaker 2

Amen .
